I made an appointment for auto glass replacement. The workers were very nice, courteous, and they did a great job. However, it took 4-5 hours until my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Online, it said that it’d most likely take 2 hours at most. I just about missed another appointment due to this. If I knew it was going to take half of the day, I may have rescheduled.

I was literally sitting at home and thought to myself like I should really get my windshield fixed so I called to make an appt. I couldn’t over the phone so I did online. I scheduled for a little over an hour later, same day. Took my suv up there and came back home since I was working. Barely got in the door and received an email that the work was complete. Called to verify and it was indeed complete. Went back, paid and grabbed my vehicle in less than 5mins. This is my second time getting a chip fixed at this location. They were even faster this time and the work was great! You can barely notice the chip. Very grateful for businesses like this. I thought I would have to wait a few days but less than 2 1/2 hours after having the thought that I should get my windshield fixed it was repaired and my vehicle was back home.

Amazing service! Professional and quick. Only took a 1/2 hr to repair. Not even enough time to take a nap In the waiting room. My closed eyes were just getting settled in, then BOOM….they were done! :-)

Super fast service...need to call ahead for appointments

If I could give zero stars I would. First they double charged my debit card so had to go back and void that transaction and start a new one. Was stuck with $770 pending charges tying up the available balance on my bank account for a week till the pending transaction dropped off on top of the $395 it cost to get my side window fixed. Then when I got home the door they fixed the window on wouldnt open from the inside. Took it back immediately and they looked at it, said they fixed it and it did open... for about 3 hours. They apparently broke the cable linkage on the back of the door handle when taking the door panel off and when I took it back they tried to rig it to work with tape. I went to junkyard the next day and was able to find parts luckily. This place is a joke and Im telling everyone I can about it. Avoid this location if you dont want to be overcharged or have your car come back with a fixed window but other parts broken, or both. Will never take another car there again.

Tidy environment. My total wait time was less than 30 minutes for a chip repair. Cant say about pricing as my repair was through my insurance.

The job was done and Im satisfied with the work. The technician came in time to my job but he said it was about to rain in an hour and he suggested that I reschedule the install after my trip and that I can drive 4 hours out of town with a Crack in my windshield cause if I get another one I can just get it fixed when I return from my trip. Well I dont think I can drive that far with a big Crack and not get pulled over 😕 Im from Michigan and was going to Cincinnati Ohio so I took my truck to their shop and had it fixed. They get it done in an hour and I was on my wayThanks 😊

I honestly, had a great experience. The took my car and placed the back wind shield. He actually cleaned out the car better than I would.

Nathan is one of the worst individuals ive ever dealt with professionally. He was supposed to arrive last week and called to tell me that he was going to reschedule my appointment because he didnt want to work late. I was understanding, and asked for an appointment the next day. He told me he would, and would contact me back. No appointment was ever put on the books, and he started dodging my calls and texts. Whenever I did get him on the phone, he would never follow through with what he said.I asked him 4 days ago to have his manager contact me. He lied about the managers name, and wouldnt give me his contact info. Trying to get past the automated phone system to get someone on the phone is near impossible.Simple communication was all I was ever asking for. Very disappointed with what should have been a easy experience.

They will forever have my business! We had to reschedule twice due to rain! Excellent customer service! The gentleman that came out was so very nice, professional and knowledgeable. It took about 90 minutes and he thanked me for using their service. Give them a try if you need your windshield replaced. You wont be disappointed!

Very happy with the exemplary and professional service here. This place runs like clockwork. Got me in and out within 2 hours for a windshield replacement. Text messages throughout informing what stage they were in the process, which I appreciated. Would definitely use again in the future but hopefully I wont have to !

Had a very small ping in my windshield. And knowing that the weather changes coming, it will spread (from past experience) I took time to get a estimate. The charge of 120 dollars for this minor repair? I thought maybe 75$.... Just cause I dont have full coverage insurance to pay whatever they feel like charging? Dont ask me what they quoted me to replace the windshield... I got a full brand new windshield done IN my driveway for 130$ ..... Thanks Safelite ..... Not!

Its important get someone on the phone, the automated system is garbage and hangs up on you often if you dont select one of its options, my car was brought to the location in Livonia over 2 weeks ago, they called me and said my part was damaged and I needed to come back in 3-4 days, still no communication from safelite and I cant reach anyone on the phone just constantly being told by automated system to go online. Absolutely worst and most frustrating situation 😤

Got a new windshield at their Livonia shop. Very hospitable crew and my new windshield is awesome. Takes a couple of hours so plan ahead.

First they made me appointment when the crack was 2in long.However. when i arrived they said I didnt have one and had to reschedule for 2 days later. When I came back thecrack that was 2in long became a 4in crack. They said i needed a glass replacement for 500.00 dollars. Are there out of there mind? This is the worst place ever, going somewhere else and hopefully they dont racially profile me like safelite. Im telling everyone I know not to shop there.

I had a chip in my windshield, this place first quoted about 99 dollars for a single chip. But my insurance covers it so whatever.I book the appointment online for 5-26 at 3PM. I drive there only to find out that appointment was bumped to the next day. I know and remember selecting the appointment for the 26 and not the 27.The lady had mentioned that it could have been an error from their call center and that I could wait around in case someone doesn’t show up for their appointment. Thanks for wasting my time.The business I went to instead was 50 dollars cheaper.

Got my mothers windshield replaced in August... Now her windshield is leaking water into her LEASED vehicle. Tried calling but Safe-lite doesnt actually have a call center so I tried chatting and got a hold of an agent only for them not to answer me at all. Found out by googling it should be covered under warranty with safe-lite but am I going to have to do this every 6 months????

Online experience was great, as well as text msg reminders, follow up & completion. Only down side was the cost - much higher than Henderson. Safelite got me in next day. Henderson said next day but when we dropped off the very rude employee said our appointment was next week.

Ive gone through the same song and dance with Safelite 2 times now. Ordered the wrong windshield. First time they caught it had to come back a few weeks later. This last time...SPECIFICALLY called them day of the appointment to mention if MY windshield was in because of the last issues I had 2 years ago. The support rep I spoke with said someone would call me back, they did said it was ready. Mentioned to her that I had problems last time, said I was ready to go. Great.Drop the car off get a call back a few hours later. Go to pick it up.. What a JOKE! the rear view mirror wasnt even on the window right, trim had a 1 gap between the roof and the mirror. Got window weld on my rear view mirror and gooped all on the drivers A-Piller.Went back inside and one of the techs looked at it. Said looks like the wrong windshield. Oh? You dont say. They are going to treat it like a warranty issue. Gee Good idea.No one would have not noticed this install was wrong hack job install and completely wasted my time telling me its ready, could have at least told me that a mistake was made, mistakes happen I get it... So they had to order another windshield (the correct one ) waited another week to come in.Finally I have the right windshield (I guess) the 4th windshield for a car 4 years old. The last tech did a great job.Its not my responsibility to check that someone ordered and installed the right windshield for my car, even tried to warn them before hand. Needless to say Ill be avoiding Safelite for my future windshield installs and will recommend anyone I know to do the same.

I have a crack on my windshield that goes almost all the way to the other side. I had an appointment a week ago... they didn’t call me until 20 minutes before they got to my house (I waited for any communication literally all day until 6pm)... he came to my house and then told me that I had to reschedule because he had the wrong windshield. TODAY, I had my second appointment with the same tech who told me he wasn’t doing it due to car troubles. I get an email later that said he IS doing it. I hear nothing from anyone else and I had to call 3 different numbers (all of which said they couldn’t get ahold of the location I was getting my glass from) just to find out that no one was coming for my appointment. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a business.

Nice work replacing our Honda Civic windshield at home. We went with the wipers as well and they work better than factory.

Fast, Friendly and on time service!

Went in for a windshield repair from a stone hitting it and I felt like it was rushed. I was only waiting for about 10-15 mins when it should take over a half hour to properly get repaired. The spot doesn’t look repaired at all and now I cannot have someone else try to fix it. Not coming here again.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly. Jacob did an excellent job on my repair and took the time time to explain the repair process. Sara was very helpful helping me change my appointment time to best work around my schedule. If ever I have another glass repair or replacement issue, Safelite AutoGlass will be my first stop.

Had a small rock crack and a chip filled. The technician, I think his name was Jacob, was very friendly and we talked about volleyball because I was limping around due to an injury. Service was quick and clear. Scheduled my appointment same day and picked my car up same day. My windshield is saved! Thanks Jacob!

Website says no appointment required before 2pm if you are wanting to repair a small rock ping. When I arrived the place was dark and chairs were blocking my view, could not locate any one. So I announced myself and some one responded, but I could not see her - she said I need an appointment I attempted to explain got frustrated and left.Tried calling but all I got were bots...

I had my windshield repair at Safelite. The technician didnt properly repair one of the chips in my windshield. The chip turned into a long crack, and now I have to pay for the damages due to his terrible work. I will take my business elsewhere.

Had them come to me. Scheduled time was between 8 and 12:00 for windshield replacement. Service tech arrived at 8:00 was finished in about an hour, did a great job!

The person that came and fixed my windshield...was friendly... but he didnt clean MY windshield..they charge 10.00 extra for that...l would like a ten dollars refund....

Took 2 trips to replace a rear window, 1 st trip window was installed crooked as can be, not centered and just wonky sticking out here and pushed to far in there, scratched paint and woke up after a night of rain to find a water feature in the truck with a nice little waterfall leading down to a nice serene pool of rain water on the floor, like the took the new guy that just started with no experience and said here you go, seriously how a window was allowed to even leave the shop like that is a disgrace but to deliver it to a customer like that is pathetic and corporate should probably do a little updating to management

I made my appointment 5 days ago, someone called me 3 days ago to get my VIN number, today the technician arrived with the wrong windshield so could not replace mine, which was the reason for the appointment. And, technician was not wearing a mask (I was) and did not ask me if I prefered he wear one, which I very much would have.Now, I will wait until Wednesday for them to come back and hopefully replace my windshield. Will update review if satisfied with the completed work.

I originally went to the safelite in Dearborn heights hoping for a same day appointment. The lot was empty and when I called safelite, the recording said appointment only and we could use the code repairreplace25 to get $25 off for the inconvenience. The one in Livernois had an appointment available, so I took it. When I got there, I felt better because the one in Livernois looks better than the one in Dearborn heights. I waited for about an hour for my appointment and I got tired of waiting, so I went in 20 minutes early. They took my car, replaced my windshield and I got it back about an hour later. Plus, they changed the promo code and got me 25 additional dollars off. I am so happy with how things went yesterday, especially since I didnt want to do it in the first place. Its funny. I keep looking at my window expecting to see that dreadful crack from the passengers side of the windshield into into my line of sight on the drivers side, but its gone. Safelite in Livernois will continue to get my business as long as I have a car. Thank you.I would also like to add that I got the original chip repaired at Lovedays on Northline road. That chip spread into a crack so fast that I did not have enough time to process it. They gave me a warranty to get the windshield repaired or replaced for free but I didnt trust them to touch my windshield again. Thats why I went to safelite and Im happy I did.

Awesome experience! The technician wasn’t sure if he would be able to fix the chip in my windshield, but he said he would attempt it so I wouldn’t have to replace my entire windshield. Thankfully, they didn’t have to replace my windshield. My appointment was easy to make over the phone with a representative and she gave me a quote on how much it would be prior to scheduling my appointment. Repair took about 40 minutes, but I was told prior to make sure I had the time to wait. Not only did they fix my chip they even vacuumed my car for me. Thank you Safelite team in Livonia, you guys rock!

I was in Detroit for business and travelled from Ohio. I had excellent customer service from Joe LeBeau in fixing my windshield. He was the best! He was patient as I drove through rush hour traffic to meet him at our site and gave both myself and my car such awesome service. He worked tirelessly in such cold temps into the early evening and gave the job quality from start to finish. He was amazing! I believe in the kindness of of all and he went above and beyond. Todd was awesome! Unfortunately my appointment was scheduled on the day of our first snow, but Todd had no problem working efficiently in the freezing temperatures. Todd got the job done in about an hour (less than he estimated) and made the process so easy. I will definitely use Safelite in the future!

Called about a side window. The guy did replace it however he said he had never did one before and was not 100% sure of his work. He said if i roll up and down the window the top would not likely seal and water will get in my car if it rains. He also said he had glued down the side piece to the window and predicted it would eventually fall off (which if did not until the time i sold it). Otherwise convenient and on time and quick appts.

Just went to this location to get a couple chips repaired. The lady at the front was very nice. They provide beverages while you are waiting. Marcel was my technician and he did a great job. He was professional and kind. Very happy with my experience.

I believe my technician was Clarence, and he was great! It stinks to get a windshield totally replaced (cost almost $400) but he was really fast and polite. I expected to be waiting there all afternoon but it was a lot faster than I expected. The shop has a nice waiting room with a tv and beverages.

Took my van in repair drivers power window they said it needed a regulator and they would order the part waited 3 days for a call on an ETA for it then called them the girl who was supposed to order it was on vacation so no one could tell me anything they said she would call when she came back its October that was the beginning of September

I have used Safelite twice in the past 6 months and both times were great. The technicians called ahead and notified me of time of arrival, both were personable and took their time to do an excellent job. I watched some of the work being done and they took their time to make sure it was done right. Never looked like they were in a hurry.

They sent someone under qualified for my 95 mustang busted my outside pillar window pieces that they don’t make anymore sent someone else out to take pics of damage now can’t even talk to a human to figure out if there gonna make it right some how. I recommend never using safelite cause there very unprofessional and just make the situation far worse than needs to be im done with these big companies that think its ok to walk on the customers

Safelite replaced my windshield and damaged the trim pieces around my windshield. They said they ordered new trim pieces to replace them. Weeks after this and multiple calls later and i still dont even have a date to have the issue fixed and they will not return my calls. If trisha says she will call you back, dont count on it. You will have to keep calling again and again to POSSIBLY get them to fix their mistake. They dont make any money off fixing their mistakes so they have no interest in it. They do NOT care about you as a customer.

The staff was great. The service was done in less than two hours. I took one stars off because they had The View playing on the TV in the lobby with the volume on. I would rather listen to a screaming baby. Anything but the View

After 3 days of scheduling and changing dates three days in a row, first day wrong glass on truck, 2nd day wrong type of scheduling. Next day gentleman did a great job with giving me run down of what happened and I was very pleased.
