Everyone was helpful, so nice, quick and efficient. The young lady who helped me with the key cutting got exactly what I needed and understood my ocd without judgement lol. And the woman who checked me out definitely knows her store and handles things. I will go back.

Staff is courteous and knowledgeable, this hardware store reminds me of hardware stores back in the day. They pretty much carry everything you name it, nuts, bolts, lawn mowers, potting soil and grain shovels! It is like a farmers type of hardware store for somebody that is looking for something different! Plenty of parking! I would give them a try and I definitely recommend them to friends!

Disappointing and frustrating place. Half the time they are missing what I need and I end up going to Home Depot anyways. I would like to support local businesses but it is so frustrating to search for parts and then be shown an empty display. They also penalize you for using credit or debit cards and employees often fail to wear masks properly.

Terrible customer service and their prices are ridiculous. Ive been shopping there for years in an effort to support a local business, but Im done. The True Value at Farmington and Nine Mile has significantly lower prices and the staff is much more pleasant. Dont waste your time or money at this one.

I had a positive experience here. I didn’t check my receipt for a .59 cent credit card fee like some of the others complain about. In the end, even if it’s there I don’t care. They had what I needed and took care of me during my visit.

In the midst of a global pandemic no one, not one employee wears a mask while working.I can not go into this store any longer...:-(( This makes me very sad as it is close to our home and we love to help out local businesses.We have family members who unfortunately are at high risk. So sad I do not feel livonia true value Values the health and safety of its patrons. :-(((

Great hardware store. Well stocked, helpful staff. Usual hardware store items, plus Carhartt attire and pet supplies. It seems that ownership changed within the last year - it is no longer Peters True Value, but now Kodets True Value. Still a great place to shop - I very much prefer to support the local guys over the big box store when possible.

Walked in at 858 and worker said that they were not open until 900 so I had to come back in 2 minutes, extremely rude and why was the door open? another time I went in to buy a pre packaged 50ft roll of wire and person at counter said it was sold by the foot and wanted to charge me $150 for a $45 roll of wire. many other times I have gone in and the staff either has no idea what they are talking about and the shelves are never fully stocked, on top of all this they charge you extra for using a credit card .

Charged me a $.59 administrative fee on a $5.69 item without any notice or posted signs. I objected and immediately returned the item. When I told the manager this was unfair he got angry. Will never go there again and will recommend to my friends to not go there also. They deserve zero stars.

Will not be going back.No employees wearing mask.Hope you dont get any of your costumes sick.

Went in looking for a replacement part for a broken cabinet drawer. Turns out they didnt have the part for this customized drawer but based on their friendliness, helpfulness, and the fact that the store is growing their inventory, Ill definitely go there again!

This store charges a surcharge for using a credit/debit card and doesnt disclose it. Their prices are already higher than the local competition. Some people who are buying for business purposes only have a charge card since its 2018 and few people still use cash especially for large transactions.

Best place in the area for unusual fasteners and small hardware

I called the store and asked if they could shake up a few cans of paint for me that was sitting on my shelf at home they said yes I got to the store and the cashier said no we cant do that one we cant do that one and they were discriminatory and segregated the cans we could do because we didnt buy that brand at their store so they lost a sale of four more gallons of paint and they lost customers for life I will not shop there ever again when it was Peters True Value Hardware they were much better so now were driving 2 miles further for good service at Wrights Hardware
