Wilson-Riggins is a much appreciated business in Lockhart. Many of their products are as good or better than the “big box” stores & their prices are competitive. I recently needed a gallon of interior latex enamel. I got a PERFECTLY match can of premium Coronado paint for LESS than the chain stores. They’re my go-to source for related products. This is an old fashion hardware, lumber yard. They have most things you might need. The staff is nice and really helpful.

These folks treat me like family. They almost always have what I need and if they dont then they get it. Prices are fair and the quality is sky high.

They are good for lumber, I did a few spot checks on the pricing and they seem slightly cheaper than Lowes.The tools they carry are of inferior quality and if you have problems they are difficult with returns, saying you must have abused it. Plus they have a strict 30 day return policy.For good tools check the Smith Supply co, they are good but have limited selection. Otherwise Lowes, or try the Ace Hardware nextdoor (I havent checked them out yet)

I am all about support local businesses and families. Love the staff, they try to always buy and sell American made products and they are the only place in town that sells the sizeAC filters I need

After living right down the road from Wilson-Riggin Lumber and doing business with them for 10 years, I am done! I am in there very often, they know me and I went in yesterday to get some hinges. My purchase was $4.50. I didnt have any cash, so I tried to use my credit card. They refused to let me use it because they have a strict no credit card policy of purchases less than $5. When I explained that I was sorry I didnt have any cash on me at the moment, the owner still refused to let me use my card. He seemed to enjoy saying no and seemed to like that I was upset and disappointed. His attitude was like oh well! Just this Christmas I went in there and bought a birdbath from them, spent $60 on it and I could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else. I was trying to support my neighbor and local business, but they dont seem to want to help or support me. Im going to Lowes or Smiths supply from now on. Stay away from this place. The men who work there are rude and patronizing. The woman who works there is really nice though. Sorry Ill never see her again.
