Great food and very relaxing atmosphere. Lots of choices for crepes. We had the Alaska breakfast crepe, the brie, fig and honey crepe, and the smoked salmon stuffed avocado. All were so tasty and the sweet and savory ones complement each other nicely. Will definitely come back if we will visit Fairbanks again!
This is probably few of the best places that offers great food while you’re in Alaska. We ordered the Mediterranean crepe, Crème brûlée crepe and a hot chocolate. The Mediterranean crepe was a great surprise with it being very delicious. This place has several great options for crepe lovers - vegetarian and meat eaters. Definitely a worthy meal if you are in Fairbanks area.
Variety of crepes and foods, tastes really good. We came here twice - the second time the crepes was not very „filled“, the first time much more so.I just wish the crepes were not as toasted and brown as typical French crepes are a not like toast, but rather soft (and hence not eatable without fork) - hence, 4/5 starts only.
I had never tried a crepe before and since it was our last day in our Alaska trip my wife and I decided to give this place an try. Im so glad that we did, absolutely loved it! We ordered white chocolate mocha, chai tea latte, Strawberry Cheesecake crepe and Veggie melt crepe. When they get busy they do have a 45 minute wait for the food but the wait will be totally worth it. The white chocolate mocha was amazing, not too sweet. The veggie crepe was crunchy and flavorful and strawberry cheesecake crepe was good too, felt like Im having a cheesecake in a completely different form. Overall this is a very good place with nice ambience and seating. Make sure to give this place a try if youre in Fairbanks.
I have no idea why it takes so long to produce a super tasty filled crepe, but apparently, it does. But, no matter!! We had a Provencal (brie, bacon, spinach, tomato) and a Chicken Bacon Avocado, and they were both so gooey hot and tasty. For dessert, of course it had to be a crepe with Nutella. Also, the Cappuccino was outstanding! We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the sun, people watching, and reading while we waited. Time well spent!
Wonderful space, expect a wait for food or to put in an order since it takes a while to make crepes and fill them. Especially today, the restaurant was packed but it wasnt an issue. Ordered the crab crepe, brie and honey, caprese, and the Nutella banana. Every single one was delicious. The hardest part was trying to make a selection since their menu is huge and youre compelled to try them all. Id definitely visit here again.
Out first time in Alaska and this place didn’t dissapoint on the quality of food! Service was a bit slow but I guess that may probably because we were 5 people in the group! Fortunately we were able to get good spot for dine in and the service was amazing! Definitely a go-to place for brunch at fairbanks!
Saw this little gem while walking the streets of Fairbanks, figured I’d stop in and give’er a try. After about a 35 minute wait to order, we were told that orders are taking about half an hour and about an hour later we got our meals. Was it worth waiting an hour and a half. For me? Nothing is worth waiting that long, but it was good. I enjoyed it very much and my chai latte was really good too. It gets really hot in there, but I think if they turned the fans on it would help cool down as that would move the air. I’d go back for sure, if there is no wait.
The Crepery is a must if you are in Fairbanks…besides the ice museum or the many other sights in the area, you will have to eat here. They have tons of options to choose from, and the staff are extremely friendly. I truly enjoyed my time and will be back in the future. This is a must visit and make sure to try at least 3 different things on the menu..
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and fair priced! Would recommend 100%!
Wow, great place to get a snack or a meal. Very well done and lots of choices. Staff is super friendly and food was so good. We came here twice since it was so good. Hope you enjoy as well.
A delicious vegan breakfast experience on a cold and dark morning in Fairbanks, Alaska! The Caprese Crepe with vegan mozzarella followed by a Nutella and Berry crepe were both delicious! Bright and cheerful setting with uplifting music. What a delight!
Amazing staff and great crepes. I enjoyed the veggie melt. Wasnt a fan of the crab melt. There was a bit of a wait 30-45 mins on a Sunday afternoon, but welll worth it.
Fantastic crepes. We had the crab crepe and the “Californian”. They were both delicious and super filling. You can see the staff prepare the crepes as you wait and all staff was following COVID protocols accordingly. The place was also super clean. Def stop by this place if visiting Fairbanks. You won’t regret it.
Great service and crepes! They also have vegetarian and vegan options.Unfortunately it is very smoky inside, so all our clothes had a bad smell afterwards.
So far, the Crepery is hands down, my favorite restaurant in Fairbanks. I had the chicken, bacon, avacado crepe. My wife had the crepe provence. Both were excellent! Capachino was great! Nutella desert crepe might have been a bit warmer on the inside, but thats a minor thing. Outdoor seating and decent wi-fi on top of it were real bonuses.
This is my favorite breakfast location in Fairbanks by far! I want to be clear though that this is not exclusively a breakfast location at all. I just happened to go for breakfast is all. First off, they have a very large menu of all kinds of crepes. I was actually taken aback a bit with the unexpected variety that was available! They have a breakfast crepe menu, but I instead opted for a savory a savory ham and smoked gouda crepe to start off with. I followed it up with an amazingly delicious dessert crepe consisting of a creme cheese filling with blueberries and sliced strawberries. It was really good! The chef even came out personally to see if I was ready for the dessert crepe to be started before making it, so it was timed perfectly after I was finishing my ham and gouda crepe. This restaurant is in my top two places to eat so far in Fairbanks. Unfortunate, I havent been able to go back since. They had to close temporarily for a maintenance issue with their heating. Im getting hungry again just thinking about it as Im writing this review though.
Vegan crepes are so good!!! Loved the vegan caprese and the Nutella and berries. We were so happy to find this place in Fairbanks!
Nice place to grab a delicious breakfast and coffee! Both were great! Prices reasonable staff attentive and friendly!
Certainly a must try in Fairbanks. I usually don’t even like crepes but these are creative, tasty, and made with care and thoughtfulness. Lots of variety between sweet and savory. A great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. It can get pretty busy, so it’s best if you try to catch it in its quieter hours.
Super delicious and worth the wait! I got the Alaska Breakfast and my friends got the Caprese crepes and the Creme Brûlée crepes. The Creme Brûlée doesn’t look like or really taste like the Creme brûlée dessert at all, but it does still have a cute unique presentation. There is also definitely custard in it and regardless tastes good.
If you are in Fairbanks try this place out for breakfast. Creps and coffee is awesome. In Savory Crepe try out Mediterranean, smoked salmon and Alaskan breakfast Crepe. Really good ones. Lot of vegetarian options. The only thing you need is patience as to get the food it is approx. 30 mins waiting. It’s very crowded in mornings. Getting a table can be tough.Coffee is also good. Try their different coffee drinks. Not pricy and quantity is good.
Great food with a vegan selection!! Happy tummy happy wife.
Very nice, the entire town look to be there at lunch time, so... please no rush!
I went to The Crepery with some friends and ordered the Bruschetta crepe. Overall I really enjoyed the Crepe and the service was good.
Way over rated and over priced. I ordered the salmon crepe and the filling was from prepackaged salmon salad. Tasted awful!
Great atmosphere and decoration, very lively, a bit crowded at times but its not too bad. The food is good, but the coffee is the best part for me personally. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in town.
We ate there for breakfast and everything was great! We got a bacon and ham breakfast crepe. It was reasonably priced, hot, and delicious!I hope we have enough time to go back this week!
I’ve had crepes in the US and Paris, and this place tops all of them. 100% the most delicious crepe I’ve ever had! Such good prices and definitely worth the wait when they get busy.
Small but well layer out. New style if you are used to breakfast only. Everything done in view of customers, like a hibachi. Tasty food and good coffee.
The best breakfast we had in Fairbanks. Savory or sweet, you cant go wrong. Staff is sweet and coffee is great.
Uniquely placed in the heart of Fairbanks who specializes in a unique item of food. The crepe, they make a phenomenal and savory crepe. I have tried several but the basil pesto, and cheese crepes are my favorite. If your vacationing here it’s a must, a must!
Savory selection is good. Sweet selection is also very good. Im a fan of heavier spices, so I think they could use a more heavily spiced option and next time I will request more. 12 ounce house coffee is free refills, which is awesome! Service is very friendly. They can get a little backed up when it is busy and it is a popular downtown place. Ample seating, varied and nicely spread out.
It might be a crime to serve such a delicious food. I couldn’t stop eating it. Soooooo good
This a gem in downtown Fairbanks. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The food is spot on and service is quick. You can get food for takeout as well. I had the Alaskan Breakfast Crepe, was delicious and just the right amount to curb my hunger. This is not a pet friendly business, I did witness someone asked to leave because they had a dog with them. Although I love dogs, I would have to agree with the wait staff. Liability is too high.
This place was fantastic! We had a brie and fig crepe as well as crab and cheese crepe...both we great but the crab one was incredible! Also had espresso...super smooth
We had the freshly made strawberry cheesecake crepes. They were light, crispy, and warm. Absolutely delicious.
Tasty food! Cool decor and enjoyable staff. We loved the unique varieties of crepes. So tasty!
A popular place in Fairbanks and this was on par with the reviews. Amazing savory and dessert crepes. We had the smoked salmon crepe and creme brulee dessert crepe which was sooooo good.. skip the savory have 2 of the dessert crepe :-) and good coffee to drown all that sweetness. Must visit place if you are in fairbanks
The food amd the coffee were very good. I a pretty picky in my crepes. Thea were as good as I have ever had !
Loved the crepes! Had it a veggie breakfast crepe and the turtle crepe! Highly recommend the turtle! Staff was great and coffee hit the spot
Great crepes and coffee! They also have nice outdoor seating. Savory or sweet crepes. O also love the salmon stuffed avocado or crab stuffed avocado for a healthier option.
Its down the street from The Crepery was the deciding factor when we rented a place in Fairbanks for the next year or so.A visit to Fairbanks is hardly a visit at all of you havent tried what The Crepery has to offer.Getting pretty close to trying them all!
Great Crepes!Be prepared to wait 20-30mins though.Well worth the wait!
From Denver: Fairbanks was not at all what I expected but this is a must if youre in town! totally awesome staff and customer service! fresh food, clean place! decent prices!
Very good food. The smoked salmon crepe was a little more crispy than a traditional crepe, and stuffed with something that contained salmon, mashed potatoes, onions, and pickles. It was very tasty, and most resembled a chicken salad without the mayo. And with delicious smoked salmon. The Creme Brule crepe was a more traditional, soft dessert crepe, stuffed with cream and fresh berries. Everything was delicious.
Food, service and outdoors were great. Super busy. Wish you didnt have to go back to the line to order more drinks!
Best crepes in town. Had the lobster melt which was definitely tasty and filling. Also tried there Cuban coffee which was strong but not as good as the ones Ive had in Miami. The staff was very welcoming as well. The location is great since it is located right in the center of downtown. Well definitely be back soon for an afternoon snack and coffee.
Oh my goodness the crepes the crepes! Coffee is fantastic as well. They move fast here too.
Awesome! Great crepes and so many choices! If we had one in North Carolina, I would taste through the whole menu. I had prosciutto with blue cheese and figs. Out of this world and a big portion!
Honestly, the food was kind of bland and lacked any creativity.. Just a boring sandwich in a crepe instead of bread.. The long line to order had me thinking i was in for something special. The service was great tho.Addendum: In response to the owners reply below. Its been a month now so I cant recall exactly what I ordered. It wasnt bad.. it was just boring. If you make a ham and cheese sandwich at home its going to have ham, cheese, and bread right? Well, if you order that in a restaurant that you waited 20 minutes to get in, then I think its reasonable to expect something more than the same sandwich that you can get at home. I didnt mention this in the original review, but there were four of us who ate that day and we all felt the same way.Im not sure why they posted a link to the menu in the reply... surely its on the website as well as google. seemed like a bit of a dig... but thats ok.Wish you guys the best.. you have a great team working there and the place was packed.. hopefully your doing as well as it looks.
Very nice outdoors.Indoors very cozy. It does need some sort of kitchen escape due all the vapor stays withing the place.CreepsCheesesteak was very good and well done.Nutella and berries also well made. Not too much or too little. Nice consistency on the crepes it self.Hot chocolate and Mocha where very good.Nice place in the over all experience. Would recommend for breakfast, lunch or snack.
It was very good! The crepes and coffee were wonderful and we got our food very fast. The customer service was really good and they made sure everything was perfect. Definitely would recommend as a breakfast spot!
Amazing food, service. Nice ambiance. Great vegetarian and vegan options.
One of the best brunch places in Alaska! Amazing set of crepes! - try Nutella berry, veggie melt along with white choc and morrociano coffee are must try!
Great service and food. Would love to have this in my home state and town
This is a must breakfast or lunch sweet or savory hot coffee for cold
The taste is delicious, and the people are very friendly. Only reason not five stars is that it is a little overpriced. Mine was $8. The ingredients used to make it could not be more than .30 cents (only three ingredients).
I ordered from doordash and asked that they make my crepes gluten free but apparently they dont do that over door dash. Instead of letting me know before preparing the order, I got the order with a note inside that explained they dont do gluten free over Doordash. I just spend a ridiculous amount of money on food I cannot eat.
Inexpensive, delicious crepes of all types, and great service. they had some interesting alternative music playing inside, and quieter seating outside as well
