This guy is amazing. He wants to help you instead of just to get money from you. He was so patient, explaining to me why I don’t need the rack change service I asked for, Under 100F afternoon sun! Who does that nowadays? He even repeated a few times explaining how the current system would meet my need. Under the extreme heat wave today! My respect to this guy! I definitely will come back for any service in the future!

This is my go to auto place. Everyone there is very honest and does a great job. They’ve saved me a ton of money by not having to go to the dealership. I love this place and have taken my car in for everything (oil, brakes, etc). Highly recommend. They’re fast too.

This place is great! Nice people, fair prices, and high quality work. Ive come here multiple times and received repairs for a much lower price than the quotes from other, slicker places. I also really enjoy the vibe. Los Gatos can sometimes be a place that is fake or superficial, this place is real.

Hard to find a reliable place that you can trust but los Gatos auto care has always come through and I have never had a bad experience. Have brought my Audi here a couple times the past year and my family has used them in the past as well. Has always been a good experience. They have taken my car in multiple times on short notice and fixed the issues quickly. They are fair with pricing and dont charge for extra things. I would definitely recommend this place

Went here for years, spent thousands$$$ used to be great. Went in for breaks and rotors today, paid over the quote price for brakes and rotors. My car in now banging sticking and grinding. Looked on the reciept, I paid the quote price for brake pads and rotors and only got brake pads. And the car sounds and feels awful, no rotors.

I have been going to Los Gatos Auto care for the last two years. I stopped by on a whim because I just received and estimate to fix a rack and pinion problem. I was thinking of getting rid of my van until I asked the owner how much. His quote was less than half what I was quoted. The van was ready the next day. Now I dont even ask for a quote because they only fix what is necessary and at a fair price. Lately Phil has been working on my van and he just saved my butt again. Rats got to some wires and he was able to find the problem and fix it while I waited. This is the place you want to go.

They are the best. $85 later all my vacuum lines and washer fluids chewed by the nasty Saratoga rats fixed. Hats off to Pheung and Darius

This is a great repair shop. They are knowledgeable, fair, efficient and friendly. They have maintained and repaired our Jaguar, Audi TT Quattro, and even our Fisker Karma!

I have been taking my Volvo and BMW to Pheung and Phil for over 10 years, and highly recommend them. There are several specific advantages:1) They are very honest and only do the repairs you need. They have my complete trust, and have turned down opportunities for me to have work done.2) They allow you to bring your own parts if you wish - a huge difference that can save you a fortune. For example, a failed compressor for a Volvo. A remanufactured Volvo one from Volvo costs $800 and they charge $600 to install. I found the actual manufacturer in Sweden via google sells it as an OEM for $400 with shipping and Phil installed it for $300. So better answer and cost less. This is the perfect place if you like to buy the best aftermarket parts from Siemens, Bosch (etc) that are the sources of the actual parts the car companies use - just without the sticker. A Camshaft Position Sensor from Bosch. $43. From BMW - $100. It saves your thousands over the year.3) The key: Be the first one there in the morning on a Saturday. Drop off the car. Go to the Apple store or for a coffee etc, and come back 2 hours later, and youre car is usually done.Ive seen every car type you can imagine here. Its interesting that the owners always look like they can afford to go to the dealer, but go here because of the outstanding value.4) Pheong (Fong) and Phil are the nicest guys youll ever meet. How many mechanics do you know that get a holiday card. They get one from me.
