Staff is friendly. Routine oil change service was completed on time. I was informed of progress of the work during the day. The service representative proposed additional services after the work was completed that was not quite needed at the present time but would be needed weeks or potentially months down the line.

The people at this place are SO NICE! Service is fast, courteous, reliable, and personable. So much better than those big chains where they barely see you. Prices are quite reasonable too. One of the best tire shops I have ever used, hands down.

This review is long overdue...my dad and I got a flat tire on our trailer while dropping off a car for a client all the way from LA.We luckily made it to Goodyear and asked if they had the tire in stock and if they could change it. They were almost closing. But the man who assisted us (unfortunately I forget everyone’s name) called the maintenance manager and she told us they could help us. Everyone in this shop went above and beyond and we appreciated it greatly. We don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t gotten the tire.We want to thank the whole team for helping us and being so kind. We appreciate that kind of customer service.I recommend going to this shop and showing them support.

I have been a customer at Goodyear for 20+ years. Tom and his staff are absolutely amazing. Their customer service is top notch, they always call if something comes up before doing anything and always go the extra mile if it’s something they cannot do...such as calling other mechanics and shops for me and set up anything that needs to be done! Tom and the crew at Goodyear are the most helpful. I took my car into a jiffy lube in Sunnyvale only to receive it back with the check engine light on and the vacuum not connected, creating a shaking movement in the engine. It felt like a completely different car. This crew took my car in, double checked all the previous work and adjusted a few things. My car feels better than before and the price was under $80! They are honest, knowledgeable, and reasonable. I will be going here only from now on!

Goodyear auto service is a business that I would highly recommend. I got a flat from a nail stuck in my tire on the 101, and pulled off into their parking lot before they even opened. Though they were incredibly busy, they fit me in right away.The extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful young woman in charge explained everything completely. She took the time to show me the jagged tear in my tire and offered me very reasonable tire replacement prices. The other employees were all so courteous, and even took time to answer questions and show me the quietest place to sit while I waited. I feel this business provides unusually excellent service. They made what could have been a very stressful time into a pleasant experience!

Great service and the staff give great discounts

Recently we had our older lower mileage Cadillac catch a metal stud in a tire from construction near us and only other matching tires was a Goodyear with 7 k miles and we wanted to match it but the construction company would only pay for one tire replacement and no one else had them in stock after driving around Memorial Day weekend on a donut spare and have most major chains tell us it would be another day or so just dont go on the highway or travel more than 20 miles at a time after asking for a deposit after they call their vendor. Tony had the matchingGoodyear tire and I arrived two hours away from closing and they were busy. They verified again they had the tire and could mount it same day. I arrived and Kaylene parked the car as parking was limited and I came back an hour later and they had mounted it and the newer tire matched the existing newer Goodyear and on time and budget. All other calls to replace the tire from Tuesday forward resulted in trying to sell me a set of two promotional sales brands as a set or upsell to newer Michelins that would be ready the next day after 3pm and another day of donut spare restricted limits. Kay and Tony saved me at least $50-200 and priceless grief and provided the peace of mind from safety and a job well done on time and on budget and under the most hectic and busy periods near closing, these the times and tests that show team work, character and customer service and in this example they showed excellence beyond expectations and the right tires were put on the car. Cant be grateful enough, driving safely again thanks to Los Gatos Goodyear and within budget. Cant say Thanks enough again.

Looked for a tire store on Yelp and found Goodyear near by with great ratings.Not only did I have a screw in my tire, it was close to the sidewall and I needed a new tire.Linsey C. Was super helpful. She clearly explained why I needed a new tire and didn’t try to sell me more tires that I didn’t need. Current tread on all tires were in good shape she explained. She did upsell me on tire insurance and I felt it was worth the value for the protection. They didn’t have my tire in stock but had it there the next day.She followed up to let me know tire was in. I was in and out. Great service. Good communication. Friendly staff. I will be back for my next set of tires or tire service.

Tom has Excellent customer service skills!! The other lady that works there with the blond hair is very rude!! She smacks her gum while talking to customers and when I brought my jeep in for an oil change in which I had an appointment for, she asked me twice with an attitude to move my vehicle for other customers!! My husband and I were on the road and discovered that one of our tires had a slow leak.I called several possible tire service centers in Scotts Valley, San Jose and Los Gatos and none of them could do better than an hour+ wait Time. We really needed to get to our Destination (another hour and a half on the road) and my husband was tempted to just keep driving and hope the tire could make it. Then I called the Good Year Auto service center in Los Gatos and the woman who answered the phone, Linsey, listened attentively and quickly arranged for one of her technicians to help us when we arrived 10 min later. They didn’t just put a plug in, they took the tire off and fixed it properly. (Nail in the tread) FOR FREE! And Linsey Kindly offered our dog water and a shady place to wait.I was so impressed with Linsey and Good Year!

Had my suspension done here a year ago. They willingly admitted to messing up the install the first time, so they kept the car a few more days to tear the front suspension and do it again. They tried to charge me more labor for the reinstall, which I had to argue down since that is their fault, not mine.Now, a year later, my suspension is failing again (strut towers are skipping around in the bearings) in the same way they did the first time they were installed.I took my car to a professional tuning shop that specializes in my model of car to have the suspension diagnosed. They told me and showed me how totally messed up and wrong the previous installation was. Bolts in wrong places, wrong size bolts, missing washers and other parts. Both front and back were improperly built. What a mess.To the mechanic at Goodyear, DONT ATTEMPT THE JOB IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW. Just admit to the customer they should take it elsewhere. You told me you fix it and you did the exact opposite.What a joke of a company.

The first time I was there, I had no idea what kind of tires to buy or how much I should pay for them, and they handled all of that for me. Live in Los Gatos for 30+ yrs and this is the best tire service center in Los Gatos. They price matching and the technician dismount and mount new tires fast. No waiting around.

I was forced to take my car here after the local Audi dealership refused to replace a tire that was covered under my extra warranty purchase because it wasnt a normal tire they were used to seeing.I wasted a week trying to work with the dealership and after repeatedly missing call back deadlines, I was helped here in a few minutes.Thankfully the tire is still covered by warranty and thankfully the staff here (Brent) know about service! Im looking forward to the completed work now that everything is ordered and scheduled!Would recommend them highly!

Ive visited these guys a couple times now, from oil changes to tire replacements. They deserve credit for my latest visit: the oldest tire on my car giving out on me. I called at 4pm on a Sunday (theyre open till 5), and they managed to squeeze me in at the end of their day! It took only 90 minutes from the time I dialed their number to driving off with a new tire, only about 20 at the actual auto shop.Very friendly, excellent service.

Ive been going to Goodyear in Los Gatos for more than a decade. Usually Tom takes great care of all my car needs. Today, I had reservations for my wifes car and my car but what I was told last week as to wait time was radically different than when I showed up today. Instead of coming up with a reasonable solution, the lady behind the desk just continued to make excuses and did not even listen to the options that I presented. My wife and I left without leaving the cars and will for the first time in more than 10 years, we will be looking for a new place to service our vehicles.

Somewhat late review but these guys deserve it. After getting a flat tire on the way to Santa Cruz and waiting hours for AAA, my girlfriend and II arrived at this location. Coming from Sacramento, and not having a spare, I still needed to drive back home the same night. Even though the shop had been closed for 45 minutes, they decided to help me out anyway! Awesome service. Saved the day.

Huge disappointment last time I was there. I have been going to this place since 2002. I always felt they were fair before. But Im never going back again. I needed a new alternator. They charged me hundreds more than original estimate. First they said it would be $600-$700. My mistake for not asking for a repair estimate in writing at that time. They then called me back saying my alternator alone would be $600-$700 and the new price to get my alternator replaced would be $1200-$1300! I checked on that, told them I could get one for $80-$250. They decided, all of a sudden, that they could get a new one for $275. I said fine. Go ahead and repair it. They still charged me, when I went to pick up my car $1100! They denied the previous estimates! They lied to my face! If you want to be lied to about car repairs, I recommend talking to Chari at Los Gatos Goodyear! She is good at lying to your face!

I went here 30 minutes before close on fathers day with a flat spare tire before a road trip. They patched it for free and gave me a donut!I will definitely recommend them to anyone.Also super friendly.

Was told on the phone the job will take 2 hours, scheduled for 11:30am. Arrived at 11:20, on site was told the car will be ready by 2pm. Left the shop at 3:20pm. Total disregard to my time.

Bought a brand new trailer tire 2 weeks ago picked up a nail went to to nearby shops and ask them to fix it were both told that they could not fix the tire and I would need to buy a new one I took it here they work me in without an appointment 2 hours later I was back on the road and plus it was a Goodyear tire so the flat repair was free professionalism across the board thank you very much

I needed a quick replacement for my daughters flat tire. jack and the techs helped out wonderfully.

Swapped oem parts for oem parts on my truck. The charged for specialty alignment Their position if a part has been replaced it cost more to do an alignment. This is bullocks. other alignment shops dont charge extra when new oem parts are installed.I explained this wasnt a lift kit. Contacting Corporate Customer service over upcharge. Class action material? Its not really the $50 bucks, its the principle.

Honest and great customer service. Only negative is they need your car for half a day to work on it which I dont mind as they will do it right.
