I was a bit hesitant to admit that I had never handled a gun before and that def did not stop Jason from being super helpful and getting me comfortable with handling my new handgun. After about 30-45 minutes with him I went out to the range and within a few minutes he motioned for me to come back into the building so that they could help me with my aim and by the time I left that day I felt very comfortable with my gun and couldnt wait to get back there and practice some more. These folks are so helpful and so knowledgeable!! I def recommend them to any women out there that are afraid to ask questions, but want to learn how to use a gun.

My wife and I are first time shooters and as we are new to the “gun world” we decided to be safe and get educated on firearms. We booked a beginners handgun course and we absolutely do not regret it. We chose Patriot Firearms because of all the good reviews compared to other places in Lubbock. Our instructor Jason, was very very informative and patient with us as first time gun owners/shooters. He is very knowledgeable on firearms and firearm safety. He applies analogies that help you comprehend the message he is trying to convey. The atmosphere feels welcoming and everyone is respectful. We will definitely be long time customers. If you are new to firearms and you don’t know where to begin, call patriot firearms. You will not regret it.

We took one of their classes. I was a first time gun user and was extremely impressed with instructor. Took the time to not only teach gun safety but how to shoot accurately. Nothing was rushed and he made sure all our questions were answered.

I stopped there yesterday looking to purchase a pistol. They dont have a large selection, but Jason pulled out exactly what Ive been looking for. He was not only knowledgeable about that revolve but was very informative about other weapons that I am interested in. My son and I have also made use of the shooting range. Nothing but great experiences here.

Fun place to go shoot, pistol bays only if I remember correctly. Friendly and informative staff that seem like good guys. Only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because most of the time I like to shoot my rifles as well as my pistols. Id go again to get some quick pistol practice in.

I walked in and received excellent communication with the staff. Not the prettiest place Ive been in but its a gun range. It is just fine for shooting guns. I bought a gun, ammo, and headset and needed a place to learn to shoot. Every staff member is eager to help with any questions. The 5 minute lesson is very helpful and detailed. Listen to what they say and youre talents will do the rest. I shot 150 rounds in my 40 caliber and was told I would pass the shooting test with ease. My first experience with shooting couldnt have been better. The staff will gladly answer questions while shooting if you go to them. They want us to be safe and trained the correct way. One person brought in a machine gun. What a sound lol I signed up for the concealed carry license. $15 for all day shooting out of the weather is a good deal in my opinion. Thumbs up for sure! Their free training information is priceless.

Took a license to carry class there with my wifey. Wonderful instruction and a wonderful business ran by good men. Everyone is friendly, helpful and they communicate clearly and directly. 9 plus lanes to shoot. The facility is clean and safe. Prices are reasonable and competitive. The value outweighs the cost. Whether youre a novice or pro Patriot is THE place to go for all things gun related.

When I first came here back in 2017, I was fresh to the world of gun ownership. While at first I thought the employees seemed a bit aloof, their advice and help has been valuable, and it has become my preferred place to spend a few hours shooting whenever I have the time to do so.

Never had a bad experience in the years Ive been coming here. Hope to get back in action soon. Especially now that its time to get my son and wife into the practice.

Came in from out of town to shoot IDPA match on a Saturday, showed up the Friday evening before to introduce myself and the staff was super. Showed up on Saturday and people introduced themselves and were super friendly and helpful with any questions I had. If they offered a ten star rating I would give it. It is a nice shooting range, great people, they are there to help and in the business to be a success. In order to do that they have to make money and their prices are more than fair and you just cant beat the service. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, made me feel right at home. Anybody who rates this place less than a full five stars does not have a clue. These people are great.

Took my wife here for a date and we had a great time learned alot and everyone was super kind... the instructor did a great job teaching us how to handle, load,and be safe while handling the firearms. I will definitely be going back.

I took my Dad there for Fathers Day and we had a great time. The prices were reasonable and the staff was great. I highly recommend this place! The year memberships are such that if you go on average more than two times a month it is definitely worth it too.

First I called to Patriot to get some information about buying a gun. I am a small woman and had never fired a gun on purpose. The guy on the phone told me to come on out and they would have someone to talk to me.The man i spoke with talked to me for about an hour. Mind you i knew nothing about guns. I was very happy with the help and the lessons i got. Great place to go if you are a woman. Very helpful and they dont make you feel dumb about questions. I was there the first time for 2 hours.

Rude old man behind the counter told me that Tula is Steel bullet and wouldnt be allowed on their range tho I shot it there many times before and wasnt told one thing. Also I took my own targets and Was told not to use them and I would have to use theirs for 1$ each Nope. Quickly left as fast as I arrived. Well never give them my business ever again and I hope your range loses business when the new indoor range opens.

Great people, comfortable facility, and a fair price for the range and ammunition. The employees are welcoming and helpful. Zero snobbery and no know-it-alls make for a pleasant experience.

There are some reviews on here that state there are shooting instructors that just sit there and tell how to shoot but to me that was not the case.my wife is some what new to shooting guns and have been working with her for a while and she really appriciated the help they gave her there.. They even let her shoot there personal guns to see if what her preferences were in gun styles. If you are looking for a place to shoot and looking for tips to get better than this is the place for you..if you just want to be left alone then let them know and they will let you be.I will certainly be a frequent visitor here...

Ive never had a problem with this range. Being a Tech student I pay 12.50. The extra targets are only a dollar. All in all its a good indoor range.

Took a lesson here and loved it! The instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and communicated everything very well. I would definitely recommend Patriot!!

My first visit was with a Groupon, just to try the place out and see how the staff was. No disappointments all around. The staff is patient and helpful with new shooters, and they do a great job answering all your questions. They also offer the LTC course here, and Ive heard good things about it. I also appreciate that they sell new & used firearms here. One of my friends was in the market for an intro handgun, and the took the time to find out her preferences, budget, etc. and found her something that was a good fit for her and at a competitive price. Always fun stopping in after a long day.Heads up: (1) They offer a student discount. (2) Make sure you have lead-core ammo with you.

Wanted to go shoot my 9mm. Their website says they open at 9:00am. I took my son and got there around 8:50am. Just wanted to see if the door was open since I was there. It was open, we went on in. There was one guy there. Got the vibe I was interrupting his coffee and breakfast time. Not friendly, told us to go to lanes 3 and 4. There was an A3 and an A4 and a plain 3 and 4. Went to the plain 3 and 4 and he came and banged on the window and wanted us on A3 and A4. We shot and went out to pay. Nothing out of his mouth except $26 dollars. I told him thank you and all he had to say was have a good day. Couldnt really tell he appreciated my business. Next time I will take a drive to the country. Not impressed at all.

Worst experience ever! I have been to many gun ranges and patriots is over priced! They only have fives lanes and stuck me and a buddy of mine in the same lane. For an hour of shooting it was $13 each. I gave the man $15 and he kept the change for himself. I didnt say anything because thats the last time I give these thieves my business again.

Well first off i never made a review on anything since the internet has been alive.. But its really bad in America now and i see ppl pay attention to the internet and social media. But iam a 32 year old blk man and i also served for our country... i see most of these reviews are frm a different race as me. So ill be the first to say.. this place has a problem with my kind of ppl.. (Black). I went to this place with sum friends(black) and everything was cool. But whn we left i made a order. Lng story short its been 12 days later no order. Ask for my money back guy couldn’t even hand me my money like i handed it to thm. He tossed it on counter didn’t explain anything about my order. In all honesty, people are reviewing this business as a gun shop, not as a shooting range. Ill state this simply: there are much better and cheaper places to BUY a pistol in Lubbock. That said, the range is great. Air conditioned, good ventilation, always in working order, etc. And their prices are very reasonable. Im from San Antonio, and the only indoor range we have down there costs $400 a year + absurdly priced WinClean ammo. The owner is a good old boy and doesnt have a very high threshold for bullshit, but I wouldnt call him rude or abrasive. Bottom line: if you want a nice, reasonably priced air-conditioned place in Lubbock to shoot your pistol, go here. If you want to drive to Slaton and stand around in the heat and sun for a slightly lower range fee, you have that option open to you as well.

Not a bad, indoor range. Gets a little crowded on the weekend. Flat rate $15 per day plus targets. It is not really a gun store, they just have some for sale, even then the prices are ball park to other gun stores, some cheaper some more expensive. The range is actually 25yds with motorized trolleys to take your targets out. I came in from out of town to shoot and enjoyed talking to the person at the counter. Shot for about 4 hours with 5 guns cost me $25 due to all the targets I went thru.

The staff here were friendly and it was our first time shooting so they gave us a little briefing on how to hold the gun. Free rentals for women on sundays which is cool.

This is the most convenient shooting range in town. Unfortunately its very expensive. The owners are condescending and the guns are overpriced.

It is run down looking an the time I went before this last trip, it was raining and water was dripping from the ceiling and onto the wife an I. It beat being out in the rain, but thats why you go indoors.Now my last visiy was ok, the guys said we could use any target as long as it was not racists or zombies and would stick to their target. So, went an bought the eze-scorer BC-27. Took it there, shot the free target up an stuck the BC-27 on their target, an put two rounds on it. RSO said we couldnt use unless we were members. Told him that the guy behind the counter said we could use these, an of course the guy behinde the counter said he didnt. Hate a lier, so NEVER going back there again!!!

I had a problem with my 1911 trigger and the guy at this range fixed it in a heartbeat for a very reasonable price. I would definitely bring my 1911 to them if there is any problem in the future.
