This store does not live up to the standards of most other Kroger stores. Disheveled shelves with many empty spaces. Seems to be an inventory supply chain problem. Store very crowded at 4:00 P.M. Produce section in good shape. We were passing through Macon and decided to stop here to shop. Think Ill do my shopping at the other Kroger stores.
Kroger on Tom Hill.If you want a cart take one from outside!!!!!Watch out for the employees filling the blue carts. (Pick up orders)They are rude and will run over you.Its hard to move around up front because of long lines. Today at 4:00, 1 lane open with cashier. Both self check out lines open BUT 3 registers were down.. Employees never smile maybe over worked.
Not only does the store now close at 11pm, but there is now an employee locking the door and letting people out at 10:45. I only needed 2 items and would have been back in my car before 11. Now your stores close too early for me to get to them, as some of still working are working 2 jobs to not make ends meet. At night there were less people so less risk and i prefer to miss the crowds anyway. As far as Im concerned you might as well close at 5pm and call it a day. I love the app and enjoyed shopping with your store and was the only grocery store i used. Now that the world has lost its mind over covid it only makes sense kroger would too. I will just have to order it online and have it delivered. However, youre not the store with the best prices or delivery service so i will get used to the new store and their delivery service. It seem to me covid has become an excuse for offering bad customer service.
DO NOT USE CLICKLIST HERE!!!! Wife waited 2.5 hours on groceries just to be told they haven’t gotten them ready. They said it will be ready sometime tomorrow now. Called and was hung up on trying to get in touch with the manager 4 times. NO COMMUNICATION AND NO HELP! Complete joke and hopefully they hire a real manager to take care of these issues!
This Kroger location is in a busy shopping center. All the staff members we encountered seemed friendly and the store was nice and clean. They had a nice selection of natural foods.
This was 1 of 2 Krogers I went to that didnt have a cake decorator. When I specifically saw icing they were using behind the counter. Clearly they just dont want to work. They shld be fired si that ppl who arent wastes of oxygen can actually work.
If you cannot have carts available n front i cannot spend ny 200 bucks a week im going tonpublix forvtge first time what awful service
As you can see, masks are required for all customers. Half of the store are not wearing masks. When I called customer service from my vehicle, the woman who answered told me if I didn’t like it I should use click list. That person is just as trashy as the store itself and does not deserve a job. I will NEVER shop at this store again!
Horrible first experience here. I called the store to see what time they cashed checks up until and I was told 10p.m. by a Supervisor . I got to the store a little before 9p.m. and was turned around by that same Supervisor because they didnt have $171. What bothered me was the fact that I payed an Uber to take me based off information I got from the Supervisor . Long story short, I ended up spending money I dont have, but who took that into consideration?
Its always crowded here if you want to get in and out please go early in the morning
If I could give more stars I would. This has to be one of the best I have ever shopped at. The store was well stocked, clean and had a great staff. I was delighted to see a sushi maker. Next time I am in the area I definitely will shop here again.
The cake decorating here is very poor and either they were having a bad day, were incredibly drunk or need to find a new profession. 33 dollars wasted.
This used to be my favorite grocery store to shop at in Macon, but ever since Covid it has taken a turn for the worse. Whats the point in requiring masks in store if the policy isnt going to be enforced? Its so frustrating trying to shop and keep yourself and others safe when people can just walk around and endanger others with no consequence. If they dont want to wear masks, isnt that what clicklist is for? Its disappointing and dangerous that this store allows some shoppers to put everyone else at risk.
This Kroger is huge, with great variety and selections! The quality is very good, produce fresh, meat and seafood fresh, with many options such as their bakery, deli, and coffee cafe. Love shopping here!
I came to the store 12 min before closing and they locked the doors. Knocked and the self checkout girl said they are closed. I told them they still had 12 minutes and that I needed to buy cold medicine for my child and she walked away. The other self checkout girl looked and kept working.obe of the men workers came and unlocked the door for me.
Very clean. Me and the wife only shop here since covid
Shout out to the tall, slender, female manager who eagerly bought my lunch for me while I was in uniform. Thank you!!! You are greatly appreciated
Shelves were kind of bare this trip, even after a year or more of Covid-19 issues. Staff is friendly.
There was a woman cussing loudly at another employee or manager, she was dressed with a red jacket from Kroger around her.
Consistently out of stock on everyday items! How can you be out of stock on canned dog food! Seriously! Tiolet paper, l understand, but not dog food. This store needs better mangement with attention to details. I would rather drive out of my way and shop at the Forsyth Rd Kroger.
I love this place. Me and my parents went there. And, It smells so fresh.
The manager (Harvey) has horrible customer service skills. Seniors are supposed to shop Monday through Thursday early. I came to be in and out, but when she said that I was like okay. But then several people younger than me came out. She let several people that aren’t seniors go in in front of me. They aren’t checking IDs to confirm these people are seniors. She and her staff are just looking at people and assuming/stopping who they want. Be consistent and not not nasty when people hold you accountable.
Typical ghetto unprofessional kroger. Miserable disgruntled employees, entitled customers. HORRIBLE deli area. Bunch of hopeless lost causes
October 4th at 9am. When for our weekly shopping trip today. The problem was the people who has the big buggies shopping for pickup is parking their buggies in the middle of the of the isles. We asked a man could we get by he said he has a job to do and for us to go down another isle. Not very customer friendly at all just ruled. I know Kroger will not missed my 250.00 a week, but Publix or Walmart will get from this day forward.
Enjoyed it. But I buy a eyeglass fixer kit and I cant find it..
45 minutes to get groceries in the pick up. There were no other customers for the first 35 minutes and then one customer comes up and gets hers in 5 minutes and leave before Ive even gotten mine. Kroger needs to do a better job properly staffing their online pickup crew. The people working there were very friendly and apologetic but this was just ridiculous.
The store was very clean and was stocked with everything I needed. There were plenty of self-checkout machines so I was able to get in and out quickly despite the store being crowded with other shoppers.
I enjoy shopping here. The store has an excellent selection and the digital coupons on the app and online help save even more money. Ive never had any problems or issues shopping at Kroger. The stores are always clean and the staff is professional.
Super friendly, with a manager bustling about making sure customers were being attended to. Kroger always has good prices and a vast selection. The biggest grocery store chain for good reason! Recommended.
PPL STILL COMING IN STORE WITHOUT MASKS.
Many of the employees act as if their doing me a favor by letting me shop in this store. The customer pays their salaries. If greeting the customer is so painstaking then maybe they are in the wrong occupation. Robotics are coming soon to replace the unhappy discontent employee.I will shop at Publix in the future at least the employees are polite and courteous without all of the eye rolling drama.
The grocery pickup service is pretty rough right now. They called is 10 mim before pickup, to tell us to come an hour AFTER our scheduled time. So we did, then waited a full hour in the parking lot for our groceries. It was 50 minutes before anyone came to talk to us. Mind you we called the pickup number within a minute of getting there. It may have something to do with their free pickup promotion, but theyve got to do better than this.
Not really discussing the store here. Mostly just my visit to the toilets. Really had a steamer going on and the bathroom is sub par for public toilets. The door to the stall is broken in a way that you have to lift the door up in order for it to lock. All of the accessories in the stall were broken except for the coat hanger. As indicated in my photos. Again, Im not rating the store itself . Just the bathroom. 2/10 would not poop again.
Worst Kroger. One line open and several people waiting.
Im here on a Wednesday evening around 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm and there are only 3 amigo carts on the premises. 2 are dead and 1 is being used. There are usually at least a dozen available. This is a sad state of affairs for those of us that need the assistance to get our shopping done and piss-poor planning on the part of management.
This is the closest Kroger to me and I go to this particular location several times a week. The employees are typically abundant and readily available and willing to answer questions and assist. I would rather go here then most other stores because its clean and even when busy, the overall atmosphere is mellow and nonconfrontational.
Really like this store. They took the time and the money to update it and fit the needs of the current consumer. Cheese bar, salad bar and fresh sushi for starters. Whole Foods amenities without the Whole Foods price tag. Everythings easy to find and the employees are very friendly.
Love my Kroger but today I went to cash a check, walked up to the counter no one was there then my phone rang it was my childs school to tell me his was hurt while I was on the phone the lady Sheila walks up sees that Im on the phone and continues to ask me can she help me I put the phone to the side with my ear still to it and asked if I could see her pen to sighn my check my Id and check was sitting on the counter right in front of her and she tells me I will just help you when you get off the phone I asked her okay thats fine but can I see your pen, she stands there and looks at me I explain that this is a emergency call about my son can she please go ahead a cash this check I had been standing at the counter waiting and I had to go get my son, instead of proceeding she starts a argument on how long I had been standing at the counter I said thats fine I will just find a manager she says Ill call them for you grabs my check cashes it while Im asking her if I can put my Kroger number in by this time I had been off the phone, she tells me she cant she already ran everything, usually Im asked about my alternate id but she was too busy with her attitude towards me, when the manager comes I pull her ASIDE and explain to her that she was rude and she could have handled it better that I wasnt there to argue with her and shouldnt have to being that no one was at the counter when I came and she walked up to me while Im on the phone I mean really? If your not going to help me until I get off the phone then dont interrupt my conversation ... That would have been fine but what she did was uncalled for and how she spoke to me ... I work in customer service and this is not acceptable. She needs to be somewhere else
Do wish there were more cashiers early in the morning. Always have several people waiting in line. I always go between 8 & 9 and 1 cashier is not enough. Store is always clean and people are eager to help if needed.
If you like to cook, like me, then this is your grocery store. They have an amazing selection of everything. The staff is personable and helpful. The store is clean, brightly lit, and well stocked. This is my go-to anytime Im preparing something yummy for family or friends.
I used to love this location but the past year it has declined. They no longer have the sushi bar and the Click List is a disaster. They are understaffed so you sometimes have to leave and come back an hour or two later which defeats the purpose of the program. They get 3 stars because its clean and usually well stocked if not itd be 2.
This is one of the best experiences I have had. No long lines. Found everything I needed was out in 45 minutes.
Always nice and clean. They have a great selection of items to choose from. Staff if usually friendly and helpful. It was crowded and there were slightly long lines on my visit despite there being multiple checkouts open.
Kroger’s on Riverside Drive was great until today at the customer service desk I had the most rude cashier name Chasity ever other than her I love it
I love Kroger. The only grocery store I go to. Prices and customer service are excellent plus I get help with gas prices
Cool just ran in to get flowers and balloons for my grandmothers 85th birthday. And everybody was very helpful. Thanks
Can find items at this store not available at other locations.
Like all Krogers, this one is busy most of the time. I go here to pick up movies, an occasional sushi, vegetables, and other things that the one near me doesnt have enough of. The selection here is larger, and i like that. The people arent overly friendly, but they arent rude either.Try the over stock area, where they put all the stuff on sale. Youll probably find some good stuff there.
This store was remodeled fairly recently. The selection overall is good. The produce and meat are always of good quality. The wine selection is fairly decent for a grocery store. The prices are reasonable as long as you have one of their free loyalty cards.
This is truly one of my favorite places to shop in Macon.
I love this location. I go nearly everyday to pick up a few things for dinner. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I never have a problem finding what I need.
High volume store equals fresh produce. I love using the Kroger App. Type in the item, it tells you where it is by aisle or department. I have the best selection in Macon.
Very nice and clean. Floral department was phenomenal, I like that the store had a variety of seasonal items out. Every employees was very nice. I will be going here instead of publix because of the variety.
I use to enjoy shopping at this location. The customer service lady Nicole has been extremely rude the last few times I have been in. I dont know what was her problem is.
The biggest Kroger known to man! If you want selection, this is the place to go. If you dont walk well, this place will be the bane of your existence. Best part? KROGER CLICKLIST!
This Krogers usually pretty good. Meat dept & deli are nice & the bakerys got some pretty artisan-style classics.
Quick stop for a few items. Store is great, clean and service is as great as well.
Had a super good meal for lunch with the soon to b hubby cooked by Kroger deli!. Yumm
Nicest Kroger in Macon. You can get just about anything you need. Great staff
Whenever I come to my hometown from Louisiana I always make sure I shop at Kroger for gas and food while Im making awesome visit is always
By far the best Kroger in Macon. I miss living on that side of town. The Kroger on Zebulon just doesn’t live up to the standards that this one meets.
They carry my favorite natural and frozen foods. Dinnerware and cookware pieces are also sold here. Some fresh produce arent rotated properly.
No matter what city I am in, the Krogers are always up to standards. This locations was clean and the staff was nice as always. The seclections are great. I am just passing through, but will definitely return.
If you like the small shopping carts be sure to get one from the racks in the parking lot. They are not available in the store.
Can usually find items I cant find in Warner Robins
Everybody was so helpful! This store has great prices and a wonderful selection. Its also very clean!
I like the store. But, they never open up more than one register.
Ive always enjoyed the vast selection of the remodeled Kroger. Today i used the clicklist for the first time...It was smooth and the Kroger employees were excellent.
This where I do my regular grocery shopping. In the 20 years Ive been coming here, the store has been renovated and most of the staff has rotated out, but its still got that same friendly atmosphere I dont find at other Krogers.
Clean, well-kept, and large daily selection of fresh sushi and sashim which is why I visit!
I am a regular Kroger shopper. However, today I shopped at the Tom Hill location and that was a mistake. The store is cluttered and the items I went to purchase were empty. The store has a cluttered look and empty shelves. I dont think I will shop at this location in the future. However, I did end up saving $23.00 by purchasing items that were on sale.
We love this Kroger! Its huge so takes a while to learn where stuff is but once you do its great. The staff is friendly too.
Pretty nice and helpful staff! Store set up is good/ easy to follow. Meats and produce are always good and fresh!
Love the place because all of their foods are the most freshest on that side of town to be honest
Great produce selection, really thoughtful and helpful staff as well. Plus, its really laid out well.
This a terrible store, I always shoppe early and twice within a week. The visit on Friday someone was stocking the shelves and had a cart on one side of the isle and was bent over stocking on the other side, I tried to get by and I bumped the cart. The lady got up and yelled at me (she said YOU COULD HAVE ASKED ME TO MOVE) not nicely though she yelled and gave me a hateful look. I wasnt feeling well so I just finished and left store. Today I went and of course it was early. There was no meat in the meat case, I figured I would shop and it would get restocked, but that never happened. every isle had someone blocking the isles while they were being stocked. I could not shop and got a few items and left store. Publix is right across the street and I will be going there from now on
Super clean, sushi bar, cheese bar, olive bar. Gas station! Great meat selections. Love My Kroger
Just about as good as any Kroger. Wish they stocked a larger variety.
Very busy place at this location but easy to find everything you need
The items are not neatly stocked, the staffs are ok, fruits and vegetables are not that fresh. Check out is fast.
Because of hurricane Irma and all the evacuees here in Macon the store was filled with people shopping my over all visit was good. Great customer service!!
Found grocery items easy. Fast check up.
On a Saturday night they only had two regular lanes opened so I went thru self check.out and Breanna was amazing.I had too many groceries to be using self checkout so I was going faster than the computer causing it to make me wait for assistance several times and she was right there fixing it then she brought me an empty buggy to put my groceries in when the area they were in got full, she then scanned my drinks and moved them to the other night for me and found someone to take them out for me without me asking for any if this. Kudos to you Breanna for excellent customer service, Ive never had someone so helpful at a self checkout.
DISCRIMINATION - I shop here all the time. The cleanliness of the store and the selection is a major plus! Not to mention the great customer service. Last night at 11:10pm was the WORSE service I ever received. The cashier, Teresa, refused to assist me in the self check out. She stated I had TOO many vouchers and I must wait until the other customers BEHIND me were checked out before she would ring me up. [There was roughly 15 customers behind me]. I was using my WIC vouchers and all the regular lanes were closed. Once she realized the expiration date was for 4/12, I had only 45mins until a new day, and the vouchers would be nul and void; she gave me every excuse not to check me out, along with using belittling statements. She stated these are about to expire anyways and I am NOT checking you out. Then she chuckled. I waited patiently for another 10mins. Teresa avoided me and assisted several other customers. I requested to see a manager. She yelled at me, Im the only one here. Then laughed again. I explained how poorly her customer service was, the unfairness of her actions, and how discriminatory her behavior was, I requested to see the manager. She finally called for someone. I began recording the entire situation on my phone. I informed her that I was recording. She comitted to her refusal of servicing me. Carson appeared and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He asked Teresa to provide assistance to just me and he would ensure the other customers in line would be taken care of by him. She disregarded his instructions and raised her voice to say, no, I am NOT checking her out. He attempted to check me out personally. Unfortunately, he didnt know how to perform the steps in the computer nor did he have the proper login to do so. He requested Teresa to assist him. She became insubordinate for the 2nd time. As time passed, I recorded her actions and waited patiently. This went on for several moments. No one should have to be treated as such and embarrassed in front of others in this manner. I notified the manager on duty the next morning, Ms. Lewis. I encouraged her to review the cameras from last night beginning at 11:10pm until around my departing time of 11:45pm. She was very empathetic, understanding, and baffled at the treatment I received from her cashier, Teresa. She promotes the WIC program and the benefits it provides to families. I will be showing the video to our local news station. Exposure to such unjust behavior is needed.
Love this store. Of course I love to grocery shop! :-) They have everything I need.
Love this Kroger. Great kitchen appliances, dishes and glasses. Clean and excellent choice of organic foods.
Once you get familiar with where everything is located shopping here is a breeze.
Only because I cant get any lower employee was rude argumentive and if my skin tone was different it would have been better,
The best customer service and ambience at any Krogers in Macon, Georgia....Joree is one of the best assets that this Tom Hill location has...
My experience was good everything i was looking for was in stock. The store was very clean and checkout was fast the cashier was very friendly.
The BEST Kroger in Macon. I would also argue they have the best specialty cheese section in town, and you cant find another grocery store in town with a better beer selection
Gas prices are very competitive! Its worth the detour. Conveniently located near interstate 75. Check it out.
Service is always great! The food never disappoints
Great place to shop and wonderful deals especially the Friday and Saturday only deals
Kroger is better than every other Grocery Store.
Is a really nice and clean store. A lot of variety compare to the other Krogers
Its a clean store but they push their own brand. Cant compete with Harris Teeter
