I would love to give a big shout out to the staff at Madison heights. I always said we would never go back but something has changed there and we will be back. I was there 2 days ago with my friend and the whole feel there is diffrent

Upcharged a driver side front spindle $549 and $220 labor. i paid almost $1,600 for a driver side front spindle ($802 for oem part at dodge) not sure if they even put oem spindle on. They told me $140 for an alignment i went next door to belletire and they did it for $90. Would not recommend this place by any means.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience today. My sales associate, Jason, was polite, attentive to details and my need to be kept abreast of what was happening to my car. He told me what needed to be taken care of immediately and what I could put off until later. Having retired and on a more strict budget, this was very helpful and much appreciated. This was his fifth day of employment and I think his customer service skills were awesome.

I was in the good year in Madison Heights. i would love to say all the guys there are great. Jason the new Manager was there and actually cares about the customers. Jay did great on contacting me and keeping me updated. the new Manager there is exactly what that store needed. i will be back in a week or so for more work to be done.

Great store. Friendly and caring. Came in for tire repair got it done. They found one driving light was out. Asked if they could fix it now and cost? Said yes at a very reasonable price. I drove in with one problem and drove out having two problems fixed. Highly recommend them to anyone.

I came in for oil change the rep that wrote everything up was very courteous an when I found out needed tires an alignment I got it all done an everything was done as quickly as they could with 4 cars ahead of me.

Long weight and bad service

Jay and Alex are always very helpful to me when I go in for any repairs/tires. Usually, I get ripped off by mechanics because I lack basic knowledge about cars. But Jay and Alex do an exceptional job explaining to me the repair Im getting and they work with me on the price. They are exemplary, honest technicians and I always enjoy doing business with them!

Horrible experience the guy at the counter was rude, unhelpful, and treated me like I was stupid. Do not recommend this place at all!

This Goodyear Store in Madison Heights is the only place that I will take my 2001 Dodge Ram to. They have proved to me that they value my business. They are honest in my book. I am a retired mechanic so I know when an auto repair needs to be done and I know the cost that should be involved. Most of all I know when the job was done right. They have proven to me that I am not just a Joe Mo off the street as was the way I was treated at their competitors, which is right next door. I see why the place next door charges so much and is always in a rush to get you in and out and not actually assuring that they did the job right. They have to pay the millions of dollars they spend in advertising. Good Year takes the time needed to do the repair right the first time. Bob, Tony, and Matthew are all three very knowledgeable in what they do. They help me decide if any problems is dangerous or if it will be a repair I can save my pennies for.. For example when they send a mechanic a work order they know what can wait and what cant. Just wanted to give them a shout out.

TL;TR - Save time and money, go next store to belle tire. Theres no wonder they have 60 more reviews than this goodyears location.I came into this location to get an alignment done. That same week I had gotten new tires all the way around. Couple days after receiving the alignment, I took my car up to Western University for the weekend. After coming home from that trip, I had notice both front tires where completely bald only on the inner shoulder. I took my car back to good year to get it checked out. They insisted that it wasnt their fault, which is a bold claim, seeing that they wouldnt check over the work that had been done. Them refusing to check over the work and fixing the problem, I had to go literally next store to Belle tire. There, they told be my control arm on the rear side was broken. If you know anything about cars, control arms last over 100,000 miles. The alignment work shouldnt have been done without replacing the control arm; which at the time might not have been broken but definitely overlooked, seeing that it broke within that few days time span, it was extremely worn. I wish I ended up going with belle tire in the first place, because I had to pay for an additional alignment, replace the two front tires I had just purchased, and control arms.

These are your typical box store car service techs who want to up sell you on everything and tell you your car is about to explode with one big difference. They steal from you. I dont know if this is a Goodyear thing or what but my experience has been horrible. I went to Goodyear because they were affiliated with the Tire Rack installation program. I bought the lifetime tire balancing over a year ago and have attempted to get them balanced twice now. I was turned away both times. The first time the same manager of this store who sold it to me looked me in the eye and said hed never seen me before and I wasnt in his system. He could not have been more rude. I went back home and got my paperwork which confirmed I bought it but I didnt have time to go back, nor would I let him ever touch my car again. Fast forward 6 months and I tried to go to another Goodyear location near where I moved and they also would not honor the tire balancing. Apparently each location can choose whether they honor other Goodyear programs or not. Something that the lying manager at store number one didnt tell me even though I asked specifically if I could use it at ANY goodyear location.Im pursuing this through BBB but I want people to know not to visit this location so hopefully this manager will lose his job so someone who deserves the job could get in there.

Did not like customer service. I booked appointment of 5.00 pm to drop my vehicle over night so next full day they can work. I reached on appointment day by 5.10 pm, the guy was so rude, he said hey you are already so late i want to go home etc .. I dont care. store hours is till 6.00 pm. I was there to just drop. No one has to work the same day. Also they could not do alignment on my vehicle due to lack of equipments. Common, they should have known at the same time when they took order for tire change. Very unprofessional. Now have to look for other shop and waste more time.. Arrah... !! I do not recommend this place.

Took 2 guys to change the oil in my car not the best or most professional people in the back they need to pull up their pants

Went here because I needed help removing a rusted bolt from license plate holder. Gentleman named Jay was very helpful and helped me remove the old bolt and replace it with a new one. Great service!

We used to come to this location exclusively when we moved here 4 years ago for great service, friendly staff, and what seemed to be a good rate. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the gentleman we used to work with but I cant say enough good things about him. Too bad he isnt there anymore...Fast Forward to the last couple of years and all three of those reasons to come here, are gone. They went from being as helpful as possible on the phone when calling, to completely disrespectful and wouldnt even give you the time unless you were in there with an open invoice.The only reason I even give it 2 stars is because with the tires I have on my vehicle and the LOVELY Michigan roads, having the tire insurance is an absolutely beautiful thing and they work with it borderline no questions asked.Kind of a shame a location I once had a lot of respect for went this way. Weve come to appreciate the local shops and their great work and customer service much more than this location.TL:DRBecame very disrespectful, uncommunicative, poor customer service, but a good tire insurance program.

They are pleasant and polite, but shady. I needed a new tire pressure sensor and they quoted me $158. I went to Belle Tire next door and they quoted me $65. Guess who got my business?

HORRIBLE customer service. All I wanted was a quote for a full tune up and he stated he couldnt give it to me over the phone. Once I went in person, he was speaking real reckless saying things like there are different types of tune ups and things of that sort (which I already know thats why I stated I wanted a Full tune up). He was just real rude so I took my business to the Goodyear in Rochester where they were very helpful and respectful. If I could vote a 0 on this place I would.

Absolutely amazing!! We has a screwdriver go through our tire and they got us in at short notice!!

Scratched, gouged and scuffed my rim while doing a rim leak repair. Also, every other time i have them rotate the tires they scuff up the rims. I did call to let the manager know. Incidental damage sometimes happens, but its too regular at this location.

They inspected all tires and fixed one - for free. They called when the repair was finished; however, I was on another call and unable to answer. Surprisingly, they called a second time a 1/2hr later. They were friendly, professional, and completed the work when they said it would be completed. They will be my first choice if I ever need to purchase tires in the future.

Ask for Tony Alex or Jay they all been there for years great experience on there hands

This place is the most shady business Ive ever experienced in my entire life Im from Buffalo NY I came to Madison heights Michigan to fix a woooo noise I kept hearing from my car I go to Goodyear on Friday 11-24-2017 Mr.Alexander told me in order to find out what is the problem....$24.95 for the inspection good year inspected it and said it was a bad inner bearring shaft which would cost me a total of 349.00 so I say lets get it done he said I gotta order the parts...I Left and called back the next morning then Alexander says in order to get the part today it would cost me an additional almost$200 dollars to get the work done today the price went up to $529.00 and change he says they would have to pay someone to go get the part that was an hour away and an hour back so I leave my car there with in a couple of hours after I dropped it off Alexander had been calling me to let me know the car was ready. MY GPS told me someone drove my a distance with comfort my driver seat was twisted in way Ive never had it so they drove my car to get The part not just a test ride after all that...it was not the problem it still had the same noise then they tried to sell me tires that dont need I was fedup I took my car to Firestone in Madison heights They did another $21.95 inspection and found the right problem and fixed it that cost Was $377.00 Mr.Alexander is a greedy tyrent that takes an advantage of his size and sense Mr. Alexander drove my car I think my driver seat is broken.. I believe I was taken an advantage of because Im from out of town I deal with Goodyear all the time in New York I have tires that are still under warranty so why was I penalized? PAY MORE?

Do not I repeat do not go to this place I went for an oil and tire rotation they came back with another $400 worth of work that I did not need and when I refused the extra work theyNot only messed with the in air cabin filter on my car causing it to blow insanely loud but also did not put back on the oil cover they claimed that I came in with the fan blowing that loudly and they did nothing wrong they were going to charge me a $149.00 to clean the air system that they broke I fixed it myself mind you something that they broke for $33.00 a truly terrible place If you can take your car and you were else do so
