From the moment you walk through the doors your greeted with friendly staff. My vehicle had a couple issues that required a couple hours to diagnose. Interstate called and sent over the estimate and work was performed in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!!

Bill and Nick up at interstate auto were great. Car was making a noise and they were recommended to have my differential checked. Of course my car decided to be quiet once it got to interstate but they still spent a week with it and drove it around 50-60 miles to make sure that the noise was coming back. While ultimately no work was done they gave me the peace of mind that the car was handling sufficiently and that if I heard it again, I could come right back to them. Communication was excellent and about a week after I got my car back they texted me to see how everything was going. I mean, come on where else do you get that kind of customer service! Would highly recommend and grateful that my primary mechanic recommended them!

Bill & Nick have assisted me with my my van twice at Interstate Auto - once was for the timing belt and water pump replacement. The second time was for the transmission cooler line which was rusted and leaking so Interstate replaced what was needed. Both times very professional work. They are knowledgeable and honest. I was very pleased.

Only rating this as a 3 star, because it won’t email the owner and allow for a delete, horrible service for fleet customers with rusty older vehicles. Unwilling to bend or listen. Son of owner was better then the owner, and willing to refund outrageous inspection price, when shop was unwilling to fix issues with truck.

I had taken my car to another mechanic prior to taking it to Interstate Auto Care. After trying to get answers with what was wrong with my car, I just did not feel comfortable keeping my car with the other mechanic. So, I got my car towed to Interstate Auto Care. They did an excellent job explaining the issues and with overall communication. They have a system where they will text you updates as they look at your car. Ive dealt with many mechanics/shops, and my experience with Interstate Auto Care has honestly been the best! Super friendly, caring, and knowledgeable group of people!!

Most places were weeks out for appointments, but I was able to schedule an appointment with IAC right after the holiday weekend. I dropped my truck off with a myriad of problems and I was rolling again in 24 hours. I am in the process of selling my car and came in for an inspection to pass off to the new owner. Bill, Nick and the team were so nice and professional. I had to wait inside for a bit and the lobby area was very clean. When they were done, they gave me a full inspection report and even took me to my car to show me what was going on underneath. I’d definitely recommend them to my friends and family. When I was sitting there, the business owner had a customer he knew who left his credit card there and offered to drop it off for him after work. I have been trusting this garage with my vehicles for years. While they have not been perfect in diagnosing all the issues (like every one else who is not perfect at finding the root cause the first time) they have always made things right and have consistently earned my trust. I have not once observed them being dishonest. I drive out of my way to come here.Also, they have the highest tech website and portal of any repair shop. It puts the dealers to shame.

Years before that they installed aftermarket remote start systems into all of our vehicles. You know its been many years and those darn things still work. They have a 2-year 24 month guarantee on their work. Im just happy, as I have heated seats once again.

Though I worked with Bill, Casey, and Nick the most, I can only imagine that each and every person on their team exudes the same customer service mentality! They genuinely care about correcting issues for their customers and do it with your best interest in mind! I have never encountered a more honest and upfront car repair shop. My son and myself have taken multiple vehicles to Interstate with a plethora of crazy car issues (trust me if it can go wrong with a vehicle it has happened to me lol) but no matter what we leave them to investigate they are always on it. They are extremely reasonable in their pricing and I can honestly say I have zero worries about any repair they have completed!

OMG,...when I say this is thee BEST Auto shop Ive ever been to, I mean it is thee BEST !! The shop is immaculately clean, very spacious and has comfortable seating in the waiting area with multiple charger ports for your phone. Theyve even got refrigerated, custom labeled drinks for customers, TVs, and plants that add to the decorum.I had just experienced TERRIBLE service from another so- called Mechanic shop (Moes Auto on E. 7 Mile) Long story short, I had work done there (supposedly) and when I asked for my old part back, it was some rusted out part from another vehicle and totally different make and model. There was so much wrong with that situation, Id have to write an essay !! Ultimately, I got scammed out of nearly $300. Plus, they made me pay for my old parts, even though they werent mine🥴However, going to interstate Auto Care on 14 Mile was a true blessing !! The Owner, Billand his staff are professional, friendly and extremely attentive ! The mechanic fully explained the repairs needed for my vehicle.Usually, at different shops, Id have to call a ride, catch a bus, cab, Uber or LYFT, but Interstate Auto provided me with a Loaner since I had to leave my vehicle overnight. SORRY FOR THE LONG REVIEW, THIS IS RARE IN MY BOOK!!! THIS PLACE IS TOP NOTCH!!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Took my mothers car here to have an alignment done. Another well known place had said that she needed ball joints and control arms in addition to a front end alignment. That was BS. Met with an Adam at the front desk at the designated time. He was polite, very professional, and explained everything thoroughly. After trying to do the alignment, Adam called back and asked if she had been in an accident or hit a pothole. Turns out her tie rod was badly bent on the passenger side front and this was the cause of them not being able to get it into alignment. Total cost was $350 dollars compared to the very well know place that wanted to charge her $960 for ball joints and control arms that didnt need to be done. This was my first time using Interstate. I would recommend them and will be back in the future. On a side note, we were the first customer of the day. When we returned to pick up her car, the lot was packed. I guess that means they must be doing something right. Overall, very positive experience.

Good place for auto care. All the mechanics a licensed. They can be a bit pricey but they always do great work and if theres a problem you know you can take it back and get it fixed without a hassle.

Had to drive up north last minute and get a quick alignment right before it. The new tires feel very nice I had prepared beforehand and Industrials alignment was pretty spot on with them. Ill be returning to get another alignment once I have underneath the car swapped out

Although they appear to be nice and professional I quickly realized they dont really listen. I had explained to them that I was getting a vibration and when I took my rear tires off I suspected the rear wheel bearings were bad. They in turn only charged me $100 to inspect other parts of the suspension and never properly diagnosed the wheel bearings bearings. They had initially told me if they did the repair they would wave the inspection fee, however because they didnt fix the vibration problem and fixed another suspension problem I had to still pay for the inspection.I stopped at another repair place on the way home and they confirmed the bad wheel bearings in 15 minuets.The bottom line is, I wont go back there and would not recommend this business.

I needed a mechanic that works on Range Rovers and had the absolute best experience today! They’re knowledgeable and honest. I would have been an easy target to rip off and they were fantastic! They also let me use their loaner car to get home to work today. They will be the only shop I take my car to. I was nervous, this is my first luxury car and used car purchase ever. 6 weeks after purchase, the engine light came on. They put my mind at ease going forward and I so appreciate them! Awesome! I was nervous about trying a new mechanic but I am so glad I gave these guys a try. Both Rick and Bill were friendly, professional and trustworthy. They explained everything that was going on with my vehicle, got to the root of my car issues (something my old mechanic couldn’t do), found an aftermarket part that saved me money, offered a complimentary loaner and finished major repairs in no time. Their hours are convenient-open on Saturdays and the shop is neat and clean. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!

Outstanding service. Within an hour Interstate Auto was able to accurately diagnose and permanently fix my issue after I had taken it to a few other auto repair shops over the last two years and left those repair shops with no permanent fix. Casey is a great technician and Bill, the owner, really takes the time to explain everything. They did an overall vehicle check and found one other issue that wasnt an immediate problem but I had them replace the half-way worn part anyway. Now I feel safe and comfortable driving my car. Charged me $400 for a misdiagnosis and then the owner cursed me out over the phone for complaining. Very rude and unprofessional service. Beware!**** 8 paragraphs in response and not one addresses the misdiagnosis... You would rather insult me and my family in a public forum than address the specific complaint at hand, like a professional adult. Now people can read from you firsthand what great service to expect as you attempt to divert attention to immature and irrelevant insults.

The staff is very friendly. They really explain to you in detail what is wrong with your car. The waiting area is clean. It has a restroom, they also offer coffee, water, pop for free. They even have chargers for your phones. They also offer loaner cars if they should need to keep your car for a period of time.

Ive been having a persistent problem with charging (or lack of charge) to my auxiliary LiFePO4 batteries in my Sprinter camper. Ive spoken to many people about this and went to 2 other shops. Nick was incredibly helpful and introduced me to their electrical specialist Casey. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a failing alternator, which others had missed, and replaced it within a day. They performed additional checks as well. The system performs perfectly now. Very happy! Also the shop is spotless and very well organized.

Recently started working in the area (Warren) and was recommended to Insterstate by someone at work. From the time you call and walk into their waiting area you can tell they are a class act. While they might not be the cheapest in town they are fair and honest and you know your vehicle is fixed correctly. They gave me different options and suggestions and also mentioned other things I might want to have checked in the future. The team at Interstate took alot of time to explain what is causing the engine light situation and various solutions. They spoke in non-technical terms that I could understand. The facility was clean and organized. i have confidence they would do a good job when I return to get it repaired.

Ive only ever brought my vehicles here for alignments after modifying and lowering the suspension. When I first brought my e39 BMW in for an alignment after putting it on coilovers, I was unsure about the place as I am with any repair shop. Within minutes of talking to the service writer I was immediately comfortable and gladly handing over my keys. This is due mostly in part to the fact I could tell that they arent just a repair facility, but also automotive enthusiasts as well. Too often these days shops are open to just make money, these guys still genuinely love cars. It felt like I was leaving my cars with a trusted friend. I have since had my 99 BMW, 03 Mini Cooper S, and 05 Forester XT all aligned here and each and every time theyve come back perfect and within manufacturers spec. All for a very fair price.I wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend them to anyone.

This is a place you can trust.I originally took my care to Firestone for an alignment and was told I needed new struts and a tie rod. Rick at Interstate diagnosed that a proper alignment could be made with an add on part. I saved over a $1000 !!!Finding an honest repair shop is worth it’s weight in gold. I hit one of the worst potholes in Michigan a few days ago and it tore up my front end parts of my Jeep. I took it to interstate Auto Care because I have only had great experiences with them in the past, they were able to get the parts and have the work completed in about a day and a half. Which is pretty awesome considering the extensive damage. Casey and Bill were excellent as always and they have a lifetime customer in me!

I learned about Interstate through an acquaintance who spoke highly of Bill & the team. This is the best service Ive ever experienced! Their facility is exceptionally clean & comfortable too. These guys are thorough, knowledgable and their prices are more than fair. They inspected my car from bumper-to-bumper and provided me with an electronic assessment of each detail (pics included)! Ive never seen such transparency! I was given a loaner car for as long as I needed it and they kept me posted at every step of the way as they worked on my car. This location is simply one of the best auto care facilities that I have experienced. Bill is simply a great person with excellent staff. The prices may be slightly higher than some of the off-the-shelf competition, however his staff is certified and they perform top notch work.

Amazing Staff!!! I have never experienced an owner going to bat for the customer against an insurance company before, but Bill did it! He would not allow the first low ball inspection of my repairs to happen, so we got a second insurance adjuster out and he argued safety points and got them to up the estimate almost double to make my car safe again. #amazingBill and Joe were always great to deal with, very informative, and my car runs great. I will be back for future repair work, and I already started telling my family and co-workers.Yea, you can always go somewhere cheaper but in return you will get cheaper work Do yourself a favor and go here, trust them. You will be highly satisfied.

This was my first time using Interstate Auto Care and I was very happy with my experience. I hit a pothole and bent my wheel. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, efficient and knowledgable. I dropped my car off in the morning and by 10am I had an update that they were able to repair my wheel and I wouldnt need to purchase a new one! By noon they had it fixed, installed and even put on my new wiper blades that had been sitting in my backseat. You obviously never want things to go wrong with your car, but should something arise I will be a return customer to Interstate.
