Great experience, great teamwork, excellent service. Car went in with a couple brakes issues and vibration, wheels balance, new tires replacement which I purchased online and had them delivered to this location, went out fresh no problems at all. Josh was awesome got everything diagnosed properly, the cost was reasonable. Definitely will recommend this location to friends and family and will be back over again!

This is my second Goodyear shop I have been to in Madison. Each is staffed by knowledgeable friendly people who make sure the job is done right the first time. They are very fast and dont have long wait times for simple tire repairs, which is my experience with several other tire shops in Madison. Goodyear is excellent service, fast and great prices.

I had to take my tire in to have it patched up from a flat. It was a very last minute ordeal on a Saturday right before close, however Larry and Mitchell knocked it out in less than an hour. Incredible service and a life saver! Thank you so much

My brakes began to squeak a couple months ago, so I went in to Goodyear since my front ones were under warrantee. We ended up replacing the rear pads, but the squeaking did not stop. Well, it turned into a merry-go-round of appointments to fix the squeaking. They had serious trouble diagnosing the issue, so I had to be persistent and come back again and again (and again and again, not kidding!). However, the folks there are usually nice enough, with one notable exception, which is why I am giving 4 stars. And because they will make it right, eventually. I should say, Dave was especially kind and helpful. He is also able to diagnose and resolve issues that the others cant/wont.

Don’t waste your money at any good year location. Unprofessional people’s working in this location. Went to find out why Clutch is not engaged. I paid $40 for it . After One hour waited they came to me and said the clutch is not engaged . You need to pay $125 more to do another diagnosis. Waste my time and money.

Fixed my car that I had limped into the business. One of the guys gave me a short ride back to my job while they worked on my car. I returned about two hours later and the work was done perfectly. The new tires really make a difference in how improved the car drives. I plan to return to get the other two tires as soon as I get a day off.

My husband came in on 2/4 and had a full inspection appt set up for today Sat 2/6 at 2pm. When I arrived for my appt it took quite a bit of time for any of the employees to greet me. Another customer who was already being serviced even asked did they know that I was there because I had yet to be assisted. I told him that I hadnt been greeted yet but im pretty sure they knew I was there because they looked at me and just continued to talk with each other in the bay area. I was finally greeted by a tech. I told him that I had an appt at 2. He then stated that my appt wasnt until 3pm. Knowing that I was pretty sure that our appt was set up for 2pm I never mind it and said ok Ill be back at 3. My husband then took our vehicle back in at 3 and talked with the manager Mitch. Mitch asked what was he bringing the vehicle in for and my husband told him a full inspection. Mitch then proceeded to tell him that he couldnt do a full inspection and there were no techs in to service my husband for his appt. Our experience was very unprofessional and if they knew that they couldnt do a full inspection today, they should have never scheduled us. There were other red flags that seemed odd by the way we was treated but Ill just call corporate and fill them in on our experience. We will spend our money elsewhere.

I went in for new tires and they suggested I get an alignment too. I’m tracking down the road so much better now! Fair prices and good service.

Not sure why this location has such bad reviews? They were absolutely amazing. They were extremely busy and when I told them I wasnt able to come in tomorrow, they fit me in today. Duane was especially nice and helpful. The prices are the same as all other Goodyear places, so again, not sure why people are complaining about the pricing. Thats how much Goodyear tires cost. I’ve been going here for a few years to get my oil changed and tire alignment. Customer service has been great. I got tires here in January of 2018. In the Summer months, June and July, my PSI would drop from 35 to 28 in all of my tires. I thought this only happened as a cold weather issue, but it’s not cold in the summer……I waited it out to see if it happened again and in the Fall (August, September) I had the same issue, without a temperature drop. PSI would be 35 and some of the tires would drop to 28 or lower PSI, 5 times in the months of August, September, which I think is a lot.Recently in October, I’ve had to fill my tires from the PSI dropping twice and it’s only October 16, 2018. So I thought there must be a leak in the tire valve or something. I called Goodyear and both times they said it’s due to the temperature drop and not faulty tires. They also said to check it out would require them to strip off the tire and look at it for hours and they are super busy trying to get people ready for winter and my issue has always been a temperature drop. I’m bummed because they weren’t helpful at all, and made it seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about and the PSI shouldn’t be dropping that much in the Summer and early Fall months.I wont go here anymore and will have to look elsewhere for service.

Customer service was horrible. Had to wait 20-30 min just for an employee to come to service counter, and I was the only person there at the time. I even called ahead for what I needed and once I got there 30 min after calling, they no longer had the tires in stock. Then they quoted me nearly double what their own website had for price on the same tire. Stay away from these scam artists. Youve been warned

Ive been in the automotive repair industry for over 10 years as a manager, technician, parts specialist and representative for a national fleet lease company. Ive spoken to thousands of repair shops, technicians and drivers regarding vehicle repair. I purchased a used vehicle and had some issues with reconditioning work preformed at another location. It was a stressful and difficult process to determine if it was the previous shops work or the used vehicle. Jon and David were amazing to work with, even with the amount of frustration I was experiencing. The technicians were polite and friendly even though I was clearly bringing in a headache. If you need repairs and want top of the line service these guys really went above and beyond. I wish everyone in the industry would be more like the employees at this location. Thanks again for the amazing experience!!!!

Go to the 608 East Wash location. Much better service there. It took 2 hours for an oil change at this location.

Better name for this place is Screwedyear. Just another place more focused on profit than people. Their bad alignment caused abnormal tire wear and voided my tire warranty. Did they offer to make it right? Nope. Charged me full price to replace the tires they caused to wear out prematurely. Go elsewhere. This place doesnt deserve your business or mine.

Very helpful. I blew a tire on 94 and needed to check if my spare and the rest of my tires were fine to use to drive to Minnesota. They were extremely busy that day but found time to come out and help me get back on the road.

Was told to come in for an alignment, then they said they didn’t have time and I must not have the right store and sent me to another good year location. After driving to the other good year location it was confirmed that I was at the correct store and the manager must have lied to send me away.I went back to the original location again, wasting an hour of my time, and they refused to work on it or discount it for a later appointment. There was no car on the alignment rack when I came in or left.Poor management, and very poor customer service.

I had a coupon for $10 off an oil change along with a free tire rotation. The oil change was super expensive. And they charged me to dispose of my oil filter. In all of my years on this earth I have never been charged to dispose of my oil filter for any place I have ever had my oil changed out before. I was told my license plate lights were out along with one fog light. All of my fog lights were working but my license plate lights were out. I asked them if they were going to put air in my tires if they were low. I was told yes they check all of the tires for that. When checking my tires later that week every single tire was totally off. So I doubt if they even checked my tires. I wish I would’ve put a mark on the inside of one tire to see if they really rotated them. Will I ever go back. What do you think :-)

Called in to order 4 tires for my pickup truck. staff was VERY helpful with helping me decide which tires to choose and for what price. When i got to the store the took my keys and got my tires done in less than a hour. Defiantly going to recommend to friends and family and will be returning in the future.

Happy with tires but was charged a lot of money for a TPS sensors and my tire pressure light still has not turned off. Great people though and easy to get credit.

I tend to mistrust auto repair shops because I am always afraid of getting ripped off, since I know so little about cars. The first time I went to this Goodyear was for an alignment, and the technician (Eric) took the time to explain in detail exactly what they had done and why. He seemed very genuine and trustworthy as well as knowledgeable. My wife and I brought the car back several months later for tires. The manager (Brad) was very friendly and willing to negotiate on the price. We ended up buying some of the nicest tires they offer because he took the time to explain the tire ratings as well as befriend us and come up with a price we could all agree with. We will definitely return here in the future!

Goodyear on E Washinton by Hyvee. I feel very ripped off by them. I knew I needed rotors and brake pads. Only on the back. I was thinking $400/$500 tops. Remember this is only the back two tires. I didnt ask them how much cause I just figured at the very most $500.I get there to pick up my car and he tells me its $1000.00. One thousand dollars for 2 rotors and break pads. I just stood there in shock for a sec unable to even comprehend what he said to me. I was so dumbfounded. I felt very ripped off and violated. He saw a women coming and said I got this one. It was a new manager. The old HONEST !!!! manager Quinn, had taken a new job closer to home. I just took it for granted he was honest like Quinn. Wrong. I will never ever ever go there again. It was my fault as well for assuming and not asking.

Worst service Ive ever experienced. Made an online appointment & came to drop my car off for a simple oil change & burned out headlight. Was rudely told that I should have called the shop because the online computer doesnt take into account the cars that are already being worked on already, but theyd try to get to it. The man behind the front desk then took three calls in the middle of checking my car in, & went back into the shop twice, delaying the check in by more than 20 minutes. After filling out information on his computer, he then told me it would be at least $180 to change the headlight, because it was too complicated, & that was the minimum labor cost. (With my car you have to take the bumper off to change the passenger headlight, but not the drivers side. The divers side was the one out.) I told him it wasnt the complicated one, & even if it were, the most Id ever been charged was $50 for labor AND part. He said theyd take a look at it & see, but didnt guarantee me theyd help, & also said he didnt believe me that Id ever gotten it changed for that price. After two hours, the man called back & blatantly told me I was wrong. It was, in fact, the complicated headlight that needed to be changed, & therefore they couldnt get it done before they closed & refused to do it. When I went to pick my car up, the man wanted to show me how I was wrong. I requested to simply pay for my oil change, & leave. Since picking my car up, an unexplained rattle has developed that was never there before. On top of everything, I took my car into Farm & Fleet to get the headlight changed, & labor + parts didnt even equal $25. This place is such a rip off. They vastly overcharge, do not do the work they promise, damage your car in the process, & never show you an ounce of respect while theyre screwing you over.

Never again for this location. Absolute scam. 2 yrs ago bought 4 premium tires 3yr unlimited alignments and oil change.First they botch the oil change and it cost me a new motor on my 2015 Elantra. Goodyear paid the claim.Fast forward to a month ago and Im back for alignment as my new tires are agsin cupping. And there all kinds of noise and thumping. Its freaking me out. Im told alignment is perfect. But they refuse to give me before and after printouts when I ask for them. Told its not needed when no changes are warrantedNow I know why. They werent doing the alignments.I went to another mechanicAnd told I need new tired and alignment. Thats my issue.I go back to Goodyear and their service manager is now trying to convince me all the whopping sounds is the brakes or wheel bearings as he can feel it only when braking. Nevermine the repetitive thumping. Its a low hum he hears and pulsing when breaking.. Yep. Sure. Coming from the guy that that manages a team which cost me an engine and then would not provide paperwork showing they did the work they said they did.I have 2 other shops telling me the alignment in the rear has been causing the issues with one in writing and Goodyears service manager says still all is good except brakes or maybe bearings.Next week I get get an alignment elsewhere proving the alignment is wrong and I get new tires and violla... All my noises are gone.Im Totally relieved because the thumping and noises had me loosing sleep. I drive 110 miles a day for work. So Im glad issue is fixed. But Im upset as I proved in my own mind once and for all that this Goodyear location ripped me off. I cant believe corporate lets them get away with it as its a corporate owned location.

I was just reading Emily’s post below and had the exact same experience today with this Goodyear store. We must have a defective tire since i need to go in roughly every 3 months because we have one or two tires that loose air quickly. They are stating it was because of the wear and tear of our rim coating the tires are not seeding properly on the rim. Seriously a 4 year old suburban?What made me the most upset was the terrible customer service. Made the appointment 5 days in advance when I dropped it off he laughed and told me they would be lucky to get to it because they have a sick employee and anouther one that was deported today. That’s a whole other issue..When I picked up the car and walked in I heard the door chim indicating someone had walked in, thinking they must be on top of their game. Once I arrived at the counter I could see the hands of the employee slightly sticking out behind a door surfing on his mobile phone, it seemed like 5mins I waited at the counter. Then he casually walked around and asked what I needed as if I wasn’t waiting for him. NEVER would I suggest a Goodyear tire and especially this store.

Have had 2 of my cars there. Manager and mechanics were all very polite. Had to have 2 tires replaced and never once had an issue getting them replaced. They also told me I needed new brakes and took me in the shop so they could show me how thin the pads were.

They deliberately tried to contradicted my appointment I set up a week ago for 3 services. . By only completing 1 out of the 3 services I requested while making my appointment online last weekend.They acted like theres no such thing as preventative maintenance normally checked. Only when the issue become an issue is when they think the service will be they honner completing services a customer requestedThe poor customer service here earned this location a failing grade.Im taking my business back to my perfered Goodyear location.

!!! BEWARE !!! CHEATERS !!! LOOTERS !!! THIEFS !!!I went for repairing flat tire due to small leakage near rim. These b@stards put nail in my tire from side & told me that I need new tire.I had inspected my tire thoroughly before going & there was no nail. In fact the leakage was so low that I drove good 60 miles after the leakage till the tire went completely flat.There is a old man who did this. Unfortunately there was no point in arguing after he put nail :(Troy the store manager seems to be supporting this.

Staff was very rude and unprofessional. They did not complete the tasks that I was quoted for. Will definitely take my business elsewhere. I would recommend others do the same. Customer service is key to running a great business. Very disappointed.

Tried multiple times to get an oil change. First time I walked in I said Hi, I would like to get an oil change, the front desk guy responded Tuesday and nothing else. I had to press him to figure out if he meant they are full until Tuesday or if they only do oil changes on Tuesdays... Im still not sure. I had a busy week and tried calling back on Wednesday or Thursday (not sure which) and when they picked up... Tuesday guy answered the phone with somehow less information than I got before. I guess this place gets enough business that they dont need mine but I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Dont ever go to this Goodyear. I took my car in because it was making a loud noise in the front end. Long story short, they changed the wrong wheel bearing. They forgot to put my center hub cap back on, and lost it. They charged me $1100 for the work, and in the end I left with the same problem I came there with. Days later my car was making more noise, after checking my lug nuts, they were so loose I could take them off with my fingers! I went beck to complain, I was promised a new center hub piece and a reimbursement for the wrong part replace. This was in October of 2013, it is almost 7 months later, and I have received absolutely nothing. Horrible!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE, ON TIME AND GREAT PRICE

Almost left after I was told I needed synthetic oil for my VW. I have never owned a vw!!!!!!!. Manager came running to my car as I on my way home. After the oil change was completed I was bombarded with the usual selling of up keeps to my car. One of the items mentioned was new wiper blades. I just installed a new pair two weeks ago!!!!. Ill stick with the oil changes but wont buy anything else here.

I arrived in Madison from out of town with a damaged tire. I ended up at this Goodyear only wanting both rear tires replaced and nothing more. The guy running the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. He convinced me to do the free full inspection, although I was a bit aprehensive that they might do the heavy sales pitch later.After getting my tires replaced (very quickly, took an hour and a half or so) he recommended a few things that turned up on the the inspection and printed out an estimate to review and to take to my mechanic back home so hed know what to look at. Zero pressure. Since I had to get to another appointment, and since there were no critical items on the list, I paid for the tires and left. I would have gone back the next day to have them do the work (a coolant flush) but time didnt permit.When I got home, my mechanic confirmed their diagnosis. The wating room is clean and comfortable with wi-fi. The shop and parking lot are clean. Staff is professional and the frond desk guy was excellent. Overall a great experience. Well, as great as having to get a tire replaced due to highway debris can be.

Everyone has their experiences but I have had alot of car work done here and they have always shown a high professional standard compared to the other shops Ive gone to throughout the year.I started getting my oil changes done at Goodyear about a year and a half ago because it was close by and I needed new tires at the time. I have an older car you know and Ive needed stuff done to it. So I figured why the heck not give them a shot and let the Goodyear guys take on my complicated car problems. I had them put in a new clutch about 8 months back and it I havent had any issues at all since then with my clutch. I had a belt replaced inside my engine that had gone oft tilt and they replaced that about 5 months back and Im glad I got that issue dealt with. This was not the serpentine belt that was replaced if you were wondering. Ive also had my oil changed on many occassions at goodyear and the guys there have always been very professional and easy going. I have never felt my car was in bad hands there!

Had a routine oil change done there. Overall good service and experience.

They diagnosed the stretched timing chain problem, and fixed it. However, they did not put the valve cover gasket back on correctly. When I brought it back in to be fixed, they said they did it, but they didnt actually fix it. I brought it to the other Goodyear to (hopefully) be resolved.

It took an hour and a half to change my oil and rotate my tires. That is just awful. I dont understand the reason for this.
