Kareem and (I believe he said his name was Ryan) are such excellent gentlemen! I was running quite late on the clock to the shop, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. I cannot recommend this location enough, 10/10 service!

Good breakfast sandwich, but had to wait awhile to get it. You are better off to download their app and order ahead. They put it on a shelf in the waiting area and you just pop in, grab and go. Definitely, will go that op6next time I order.

This place is really well run! Bagels and coffee are good, and the manager, Glenn is very friendly and remembers peoples names, and the staff are professional.Its a shame the dining room isnt open yet due to the pandemic but this is a regular pre-work spot for me.

MehEdit (reasons) : no Caribou coffee despite the sign, lackluster iced coffee. My son got a cookie and it was cardboard and gross when a 3yo takes two bites and wont finish a cookie you know things are bad. Wifes hot coffee was fine but just fine.We went to a bagel place and didnt get bagels shame on me, but the sign says caribou coffee so we thought we were going to a coffee shop not a bagel place.

This location is clean, quick, and the bagels are delicious! I love their hazelnut coffee. I order in the app when I’m 10 mins away and then always have my order ready to go on the pick up shelf if that’s what I choose. Staff has always been very friendly. If you use the app you can get free coffee with your purchase.

They are false advertising, they are not a caribou coffee, they are a bagel joint that stole caribou recipes and name on their building. I went to get coffee and they themselves told me they werent a caribou and I couldnt use my caribou app, or points there

The coffee and bagels are great. The staff were friendly and efficient. Someone came through collected used service items regularly keeping the dining area clean. Its a great place to study and relax while having a warm cup of coffee.

This cafe has the rudest baristas I have ever met in the coffee business. I understand that youre busy in the morning and thats stressful because everyone wants coffee. In my eyes, however, you need to treat customers with respect every time.

I got a coupon for Einstein bagels for buy one get one, for my birthday, emailed earlier this week. I was so excited to go this morning and get my birthday bagel. Unfortunately, the store was having technical issues this morning, and they told me they could not accept my coupon because they couldnt scan it into the system. I completely understand technical difficulties, and dont blame anybody for that happening, but I was pretty upset that they couldnt accept my coupon. I clearly had it on my phone, they could have taken my phone number and watched me delete the coupon off my phone. But instead they said well, its still good for another week, just come back and use it. Nope, not coming back -- its out of my way and Im going out of the country for the next week. But whatever, thanks for being stingy and not honoring my birthday coupon.

I love how cozy the seating is here. We were able to feel like we could sit and talk comfortably and privately even though the place was full of people, and the seating is arranged so that you arent sitting in a draft every time someone opens the door.Also, great food and drinks. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice University Ave coffee shop. Its smaller than some of the nearby chains, so its a good place to talk. The coffee is excellent.

Ive been going here for 4 years and enjoy every experience I have had. I came in today for the first time in 4 months and Glenn remembered my name and what I usually order. Great staff and great service

I frequent the Einstein Bros. Bagels on 2701 University Ave. in Madison before and after my shift at my workplace nearby and everytime I come I am I astounded by the level of quality in the fit and finish of the cafe/lounge area. The crown jewel of this location is the beautiful electric fireplace finished in an ash wood veneer rising through the ceiling. I am partial to the arm chairs closest to the fireplace and enjoy the warmth ruminating from the fireplace after a long commute/shift. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the environment is welcoming and cozy. I have many coffee/bagel shop options here in Madison however none of them offer such an atmosphere as pleasing as this. I will also add that they play great music through an excellent sound system at an appropriate volume, which is another plus.

Its surprising how hard it can be to find a tasty and quick meal for breakfast on your way to work in the morning. This is the 6th Cafe or so that my husband and I have tried since moving to Madison and the breakfast sandwich was the best weve had by far! Perfectly cooked and unbelievably fast. The lattes were fairly standard but the staff was friendly. This is a place we will probably return to frequently.

I was confused because the GPS sent me here for Caribou Coffee. It appears to be Caribou products offered inside an Einstein bagels. However the staff was WONDERFUL and made me my favorite Caribou beverage even though it wasnt on the menu. They had multiple signs up saying they were understaffed and I was shocked at how friendly and accommodating they were under the circumstances.FWIW I usually get a Turtle Mocha.

Hands down one of my favorite places to go! Not only are the food and drinks delicious, but the employees at this particular location are wonderful! As someone who is not a morning person I dont know how they do it. They get up way before the sun rises and yet they are so friendly, quick, and appear happy to be at work. Ive been to a couple other Coffee & Bagels locations and the experience is just not the same. It isnt long before the staff learns your name. Just the other day Shakela greeted me as soon as I walked in the door!I guess I should mention the food and drinks as well. The cinnamon sugar bagel with plain cream cheese and the campfire mocha are my go-tos. I havent found another bagel place that makes anything close to the cinnamon sugar bagel, and even with all the coffee shops in Madison, I havent found any other place that makes a drink like the campfire mocha. The best part of this drink is the fact that it comes either hot, iced, or blended, so its perfect despite the constantly changing Wisconsin weather.

This is the best bagel place Ive found so far in Madison. The bagels are soft and a good size, and come in a variety of flavors. The staff here are friendly, and always offer to slice my bagels when I pick up a dozen.

Im a fan of Einstein Bagels - their bagels usually avoid he dryness that plagues some of the other area bagel places and the their rewards club Schmear Society) issues frequent deals, making Einstein a good value play. Because its close to University of Wisconsin Hospital can get crazy busy in the morning, and the staff struggles to keep up with the heavy flow of customers. Even at their busiest times, the staff is generally congenial.

They serve Caribou coffee. The light roast is a little different than light roasts at other places, it has a smoky areas aroma, Im guessing its Central American, maybe Guatemalan beans.

We were in this morning, and our food was taking forever. Upon further investigation we discovered that they had somehow skipped and canceled our order. However, before I could even get mad, they made our food, and offered us a full refund, including the coffee (which we had no problem with). I believe that mistakes happen, and the measure of a business isnt necessarily in how infrequently they mess up, but in how they handle it when they do. Einsteins handled it quite well.

I wish I knew when people are getting the fast service. Almost every time I stop there theres one person working working the cash register, one person filling orders, and two or three people standing around. Doesnt seem to matter how many people are waiting in line. Even more frustrating when I order one or two bagels to go, but have to wait behind people getting sandwiches and such. Why cant the cashier just toss my two bagels in a bag and hand them to me?
