Went to go get some studying done and try a new local coffee spot. Lets just say that their focus is on their food and the coffee was an afterthought. The coffee was just ok. Not very many options on the menu. The ambience is a little louder than I was hoping for, it seems like a local spot where people go for lunch, which is fine, just very different than what Im used to. The pupusa was decent. Ive had better, but it was worth seeing as how I havent had one since being in El Salvador several years ago. Check it out, but it definitely doesnt come in on the top of my list.
Had passed by Finca many times and my wife and I finally tried it this morning for breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito and papusas and both were excellent. Our coffee ☕ was also fantastic and came from a small El Salvadoran coffee farm. Also, the service was terrific and super friendly.
Exceptionally slow service, occasionally forgetful cafe staff. I ordered a pour over and it was left on a scale for ten minutes. I had to ask for it. I dont know how it was still hot when I got it but it was! I asked them to use their JBC beans rather than whatever else they had and the coffee was great. Food has always been solid too although I didnt order this last time.Four stars for taste, minus one for service which has been consistently slow over several visits over many months (35 minutes for a burrito when not busy is something Ill never forget).
Had a lovely morning working remotely here! It was very calm from 7-30-9:30am and then it gets busy. It was so great to see so many people enjoying food and supporting a small business. Lots of conversations happening and there is music as well so not great for taking calls but lucky for me I didn’t have any.The Salvadoran Quesadillas were delicious as well as the tacos! Would definitely come back.
This is a great place. Plenty of parking available near the restaurant. Friendly service: They were on the phone with a customer when we walked in and they took a few seconds to acknowledge we were their with a smile and a welcome. When the phone call ended they were very attentive to us. The atmosphere is very nice too, its open and clean, and bright. There are attractive ceramic tiles displayed throughout. The cold brew coffee was very good. Pork tacos were made with delicious roasted pork. Pupusa was crisp on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. We will be coming back again. Friday and Saturday can get busy so its good to try Monday through Thursday.
Needed a bite to eat and was so happy to luck up on this place via a Google search. Finca has amazing and friendly service. This was one of the best pupusas Ive had outside of the MD/DC area (heavy Salvadorean population). I also had a great breakfast burrito and coffee. Pictured is the pork and cheese pupusa. So good! Very happy to support this local family owned business in an area that used to have no restaurants.
The coffee is delicious but please dont sleep on their food menu!!! Everything is absolutely delicious and generous. Their tacos are one of the most flavorful I have ever tried and the food gets made right in their in house kitchen. Absolutely flavorful and delicious and you can wash it all down with their slow drip cold brew.
I finally stopped here on my way to work today and it was AMAZING. I had a breakfast burrito and it was one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. It came with a few homemade tortilla chips and red and green hot sauce. It was all so delicious. I will definitely be back. If you exit near rimrock dont even think about going to starbucks...support this local coffee shop and try the food.
Great coffee and traditional El Salvadoran fare. Great owners. Great is the word.
Best burrito Ive had hands down. They have a little crust from the grill on the tortilla to make it a bit crispy and the filling is just phenomenal. The pupusas are excellent. Crispy on the outside, soft and savory on the inside. The coffee was very solid as well. I wish they were open for longer but the experience was next level overall.
Somewhat limited selection but what they do theyre good at. The Salvadoran quesadilla is good, though dont expect much cheese flavor, its like a sweet cornbread with a hint of cheese flavor. Pupusas are really good and a great deal!
Absolutely incredible food at a deceptively low price. The serving size to quality ratio is SO good that I genuinely wonder how they stay in business. Its that good. The chicken is savory as heck.
Had a latte and one of their cupcake style pastries (kind of like a sweet corn bread style to it) and both were spectacular. I will need to go back for pupusa but a friendly staff and great experience. Try it!
I didnt know this place existed until recently. Stopped in to check out the menu and ordered a small veggie burrito.Wait time was about 10 minutes for the takeout. The Burrito was delicious and big for a small size! Prices are reasonable and service friendly. I would definitely go back for more food and to try the coffee!
Great coffee, super good espresso. Super nice people too. I was working on my computer and stayed a half hour after they closed and they never said anything because they were busy closing in back of house. I feel like a putz, but they were super chill about it.
It took over 15 minutes to get a cold brew coffee and that doesn’t account for the time it took just to place my order. The employee taking orders had no sense of urgency and seemed confused. The food and products are good but it’s frustrating as I was late to work.
First time here. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I. was impressed with the Americano. Will return to try the food sometime soon! I Recommend.
We come from Illinois we loved the pupusas, pancakes. What can I say first stop in Madison it was so delicious. Cant wait to come back again. Wonderful management and employees
Masks required for ages 5 and up. Good sanitizing and safety practices. Worker reminds anyone dining in that masks should be worn unless actively eating or drinking.Okay, now the food. I have been here before and continue to come back. The coffee (especially Iced Lattes) are wonderful. I tried a Bean & Cheese Papusa today. It was amazing! I recommend trying this. They also serve ones with Pork. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Very spaced out.Overall, great place! Very satisfied with visit and food!
A beautiful, colorful, and inviting cafe and coffee shop! I tried their slow drip (?) cold brew and, I say this in all seriousness, it helped offer a magical experience for me the day I first visited. Fantastic place to meet up with an old friend and come upon meaningful conversation. This place creates space for genuine connection and I value my visit here very much.Check it out!
Great spot for some coffee and authentic food. We liked the pork taco and quesadilla the most. They have a nice outdoor space and the staff was really nice.
First time there is it was delightful! The inside is super cute and clean, my oat milk latte was perfect, and the woman working encouraged me to try their Salvadoran quesadillas which are a slightly sweet pastry and it was so great with my latte. Will be back!
Above average coffee, great pupusas, good prices. Service often isnt fast; order ahead of youre in a hurry. If you havent tried this you should.
Amazing! Such good food, friend staff. Great spot.
This little coffee shop happened to be conveniently near our hotel and so we decided to go their once for some quick coffee. The coffee was amazing but what really got me was their food. We ordered some pupusas and they were phenomenal. It goes without saying, we came back several more times.
Excellent service. Excellent food and coffee. Fast Wi-Fi. Clean contemporary vibe. This was an ideal morning workspace/cafe experience
Pupusas are incredible! If youre picking up lunch for the office or in for a quick bite and a coffee I highly recommend! They also do breakfast too!
Ive been coming to Finca for breakfast almost daily for awhile now. I love their breakfast burritos, as well as their tacos, quesadillas and burritos. The cold brew is AMAZING and the sweet quesadillas are a nice treat! 🤤 The staff and owner are very courteous. Be prepared to wait if you come during peak breakfast or lunch hours and want to dine in. I typically call and order ahead for pickup due to Covid and never have to wait.
Amazing food!! I highly recommend the Salvadoran quesadillas (kinda like a semi-sweet muffin). Also, best breakfast burrito in town!!
One lady by herself serves up amazing food with fantastic service in a clean, hospitable environment. I highly recommend the Salvadoran Quesadilla.
So good! I just came from LA and the food definitely holds up. Glad Madison has a pupusa spot now.
Fantastic food. Excellent coffee. Great story and people. I highly recommend supporting this direct trade coffee shop.
Great coffee, tacos, atmosphere, and employees! Great experience and I couldn’t recommend a better place to stop in and relax for 20 minutes. 😁
First time trying Finca and it was superb! A friend of mine recently moved to Fitchburg and highly recommended this place. I though it was odd to grab a coffee with my pupilas but their in house made coffee and drinks are amazing. Their food was even better and you can’t go wrong with giving this place a try.
Delicious coffee and good food, geat service, just a little expensive.
Amazing food at a great price. Has outdoor seating.
Came here for an early morning coffee and stayed for a burrito. This place is beyond clean and spotless with a great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive. My iced latte was excellent, served in a real glass. My burrito has a great authentic taste, so much that I had to stop and post a review. This place is excellent!
Food is great but it is not quick. Faster to order in person. Phone orders take forever when busy.Pork burritos & El Salvadoran quesadilla (tasty thing like angel food cake) are worth the wait. The kitchen cant keep up with the lunch rush. Arriving before or after rush is key to avoid a long wait.
I love this place. The quesadillas are more like little cakes than the Mexican quesadillas Im familiar with. The owner takes it very serious. By her demeanor, she appears to be on a mission to maintain a high-end authentic Salvadoran cafe with better quality and lower prices than the chains.
3 reasons why you need to come here.Ambiance and decor: simple yet festive decor, accompanied by a laid back vibe. The coffee and food: Though I did not have their drip coffee, I did have a flatwhite and that was 10 out of 10. I followed it with a Doppio, which was mildly acidic to start with a sour finish, not the best doppio I have have consumed, but certainly not the worst. The music: not so much the music that plays, but rather how the music is played. Think vinyl records, paired with a great sound system and acoustics. This alone is worth the visit to me.
They have the best breakfast burritos here. They use only the freshest ingredients. I will definitely be back!!
Mocha is divine! Try a pupusa. Just do it.
Love the coffee and Papusa. Definitely a must place to visit
Great coffee and delicious Salvadoran quesadillas. Unexpected gem in Madison. I loved the place. It felt welcoming and I enjoyed hanging out there.
So delicious! I had their tea and breakfast burrito, the burrito was perfectly seasoned and so delicious! It came with salsas and a hash brown, so yummy and perfect for breakfast! I can’t wait to go back!
Very nice people and excellent food! Stumbled upon this place the other day and we will be going back. The Pupusas were delicious!
The pupusa was incredible! (Not sure on spelling) coffee was very good and the service was top notch. Beautiful place to sit, relax, and enjoy some coffee!
Nice modern atmosphere. Delicious, strong brewed coffee and incredible Salvadorian quesadillas (a sort of buttery pound cake).
This place is at an unusual spot right by the gas station in an apartment complex building. Looks like a mom and pop place. Very friendly staff and food was decent. The small burrito was decent size, although I am still biased towards Chipotle burrito. The croissants were good and buttery, just the way I like it. They have a strong coffee, so that was well worth it. The bathroom are on the side(not part of main restaurant) and need a key to get in. Overall a good place to try and hang out for a quick bite. They do have wifi, I believe.
Amazing tacos! I tried one of each, I highly recommend the chicken tacos. Everything cooked fresh to order! Try the Papusas!
Great coffee and the Salvadoran Quesadillas (think sweet bread) are a must! Our kids gobbled them up. Coffee is great and staff is helpful and friendly. Looks like a cozy place to hang out once we can gather again. Highly recommend.
You have to try the pupusas- we get them weekly because they are so so good! Finca has the best service who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Also the coffee is outstanding- flat white is my favorite! Couldnt recommend Finca Coffee enough!
Great service, great prices and delicious pupusas and quesadillas to have with good coffee!!!
New breakfast burrito is delicious! Salvadorian quesadilla and pupusas are also great. Cant go wrong. The atmosphere is friendly and bright, so glad to have them in my neighborhood!
Came here to take q quick bite and have some coffee. Everything was so flavorful. Delicious! Will definitely come back.
Great atmosphere, great food! If you havent experienced a Salvadoran Quesadilla, its worth the trip alone. Definitely will be going back.
Great coffee and pupusas! Whats a pupusa? If you like cheese, and/or pork, youll love them...
Friendly staff. Great coffee
Love this place. The coffee is so fresh. Great lunch menu and super friendly staff. Prices are reasonable too.
So glad to have found this place. Ive been in several times and every time the service is friendly, helpful and pleasant and the food is amazing. Ive never had more tasty tacos, coffee or better service then they give time after time here. Its clear they care about quality- and are doing it right - thank you!!
Finca has delicious and authentic food, very friendly staff and a nice ambiance. It is a great local coffee shop!
Delicious food. Expertly crafted and thoughtfully sourced coffee. Wonderful people. Go there today!
Yummy food, nice staff
The sweets were tasty, was not impressed with the Macchiato,Id recommend sticking to simpler coffee order, not Starbucks type order because that looked like they were doing simple amazingly well. atmosphere was clean modern and yes they have free wifi, being able to speak Spanish to order will help expedit any orders but is not necessary
Excellent coffee, great food, wonderful staff, and a warm and welcoming environment. The music on the turntable is perfect! Nice patio too.
Fantastic service with great coffee and delicious tacos. Will come again!
Food and coffee is fantastic! What a beautiful cafe tucked away on Rimrock.
The food is delicious and the coffee is good.
Great food and drinks! Friendly workers
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the Madison area. I love everything about it—the friendly customer service from Todd and his team, the best tasting coffee in town, the unique pastries and food (sweet quesadillas are a must try)—it’s all amazing. I haven’t dined in since COVID, but the ambiance is great too. Go to Finca and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
GUYS. Ive never seen cold brew made the way Finca makes it, and it is SO GOOD. Hands down best in Madison. As to food, so far Ive only tried the Salvadoran quesadillas (not to be confused with Mexican quesadillas) - theyre delicious and handmade in house. Based on what Ive tried so far Im very much looking forward to the rest of their menu items (all authentic Salvadorean food, all made in house). This is pretty much where Ill be living now.
Awesome coffee shop. Todd one of the owners is a great guy, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of El Salvadorian food and coffee. Took the time in between customers to show my girlfriend and I how to use a Chemex and discuss the roasters he sources from. First time trying papusas - for sure something Ill be craving in the future!
Limited breakfast menu right now, but food is interesting and coffee is excellent.
Beautiful space. Great coffee. Cant wait to return
Finca Coffee is outstanding. One of the best cafes in all of Wisconsin. Amazing coffee sourced from El Salvador through direct partnerships with farmers and roasters. Fantastic food for breakfast and lunch. Authentic, genuine, and kind owner and staff. Support this shop!
All the 🌟Fantastic food, kind service, super clean!!!They have VEGAN & vegetarian options.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Finca has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in Madison! Everything Ive tried here is delicious, you really cant go wrong! Great prices and great quality.
Food is five star, but literally every time I’m in, whether there are other customers or not, my order takes AT LEAST 20 minutes to make. The wait will kill you if you have anywhere to be.
The veggie burrito was SOOOO good!!!
The food here is great. Im a huge fan of the burritos, the wife loves the tacos and coffee. For sure try the Salvadoran quesadillas. They go great with a cup of tea or coffee
Delicious pupusas and coffee
Food is great! Tacos are really good. Quesadilla is amazing and huge! Recently tried the pork and cheese Pupusa and that was tasty as well! Edit. Dont edit my reviews often but last handful of times trying to call and order phone goes straight to voicemail or rings and rings and goes to voicemail that is not set up :( love there food but hard to get unless you order in person
Delicious food! Great place for lunch!
Wonderful! Everything is wonderful and there are VEGAN options! From the coffee, salsa, and corn chips to the main course burrito - everything was fresh with amazing flavor. Dont miss out. Support this wonderful business. Lots of restaurants in the area, but, in my mind, not a lot for a favorites list. Finca is definitely on the Favorites/go to list!!
No pupusas and it was barely 1 on a Monday? I feel the prep could be better. My burrito was decent I guess. Idk I made the trip all the way from Milwaukee.
Coffee: Vibrant. Their coffee comes from an amazing farm. They’ll hook you up with great black coffee or an espresso/milk-based beverage.Food: Tasty and authentic! The fact that you can get great coffee and awesome South American food AT THE SAME PLACE is 🤯 (mind blowing).Atmosphere: Engorged with natural light and fun colors, this place will make you smile.Service: Some of the best. These folks are here to give you a good experience - no ifs, ands or buts. Conclusion: Finca Coffee is a great place to grab some coffee, food, good vibes, etc.
If you want the best coffee experience in Madison look no further!I visit a number of coffee shops in Madison. I rate them on three main criteria: coffee quality, aesthetics, and food quality. Few Madison coffee shops can accomplish a 5 star rating in 1-2 of these categories. None, with the exception of Finca Coffee holds my 5-star rating in all three categories.Finca Coffee is simply the best in Madison.
Some of the best tacos Ive had in Madison! I havent tried the coffee yet but if its anything like the food this is the best kept secret in town!
This place is such a delight! Always good food and coffee, spectacular ambiance.
