They care about the quality of the cars leaving their shop. There was clear communication every step of the way when my car needed more work that first anticipated. After the fixes, my car drove like new and it saved my car from being totalled.
I needed a serpentine belt replaced. Timmy said to bring my car in at 1:00 pm that same day, that it wouldnt take long to replace. I ended up waiting longer then expected due to a delay getting the part over to his shop. When my car was finished after the longer wait, I was going to pay and Timmy said it was no charge that my time was valuable, he also apologized for my having to wait so long. I was impressed that he took responsibility for the delay even though it was not his fault. Honestly I was shocked, NO business has ever cared about how long I had to wait for a service. I highly recommend them and will continue to put my car is their hands.
We have been using this place for several years ...best service ever. Good prices and fast turnaround. Friendly owners and staff!
Re-aligned my truck and slapped some great new tires on over the weekend. Convenient is the perfect name for this place.
Very nice and attentive staff. Quality of work is great as well. They also follow up to make sure you were satisfied. Always a plus to me.
Absolutely love this place. Such excellent customer service. If this isn’t your tire place, it should be
I trust all of my cars to Convenience.
Solid A + Business. Honest, Friendly, and not overly priced.
Very accommodating excellent mechanics when nobody in the RV industry would help us their mechanics know exactly what theyre doing and the owner was so pleasant to deal with highly recommend them 👍
Great place for honest and reliable auto and RV repairs.
These folks went above and beyond, helping me out before the repair even started with a gesture I very much appreciated. A major repair situation is always stressful, but Timmy and his team explained everything very well, worked with me to figure out the best path, and carried it out just as they said they would. First class and friendly service all the way.
If I could give Convenience Car Care 10 stars I would. We took our 2015 suburban in for some issues with it shifting gears. Convenience performed the repairs and our car was returned. One day later the car wouldnt shift out of second gear. We called Convenience and Cindy handled everything. From getting the car picked up by tow truck, to calling every place around to get us a rental (we needed a SUV or mini van as were going out of town the day the car was towed). Timmy then called and let us know that the additional work was going to be performed under the cars powertrain warranty and he was working to get us refunded from the initial work from GM (as it was the vehicles codes that said the original parts needed to be replaced). Long story short, Convenience turned a really stressful situation into a manageable one. I was so impressed by their work ethic, professionalism, and honesty. If these are things you look for in a auto repair shop, then I highly encourage you to use Convenience.
Awesome customer service. In and out, no problem.
They provided a service a no charge, and this was my first time visiting them!! Still surprised by their hospitality, Honda wanted to charge me $150 for the same work. They were gentle, affable and courteous when I visited, will definitely go back to them for my car service needs.
Stopped in on a whim and a prayer, looking for a good, reliable shop to service my truck. Im new to the Manassas area and was looking for a new mechanic, but man did I strike gold when i stepped foot in here. I was greeted when I first walked in by Tim, who happens to be the owner, who was extremely professional and polite. He gave me a pretty comprehensive rundown of all options and possible expenses prior to service, and made sure to keep me updated of anything that came up during service. The service at Convenience Tire & Auto was swift, affordable, and so far reliable. I plan on being a repeat customer for the foreseeable future.
This place is amazing. It has a small showroom of classic cars and motorcycles, all appearing to be in factory condition. They clearly love motor vehicles, and are artistic in their attention to detail. I made an appointment for regular maintenance and safety inspection one day in advance. They found problems with my front suspension (something I had suspected going in), and explained my options. The cost for full repair was astonishingly low. I added on a long overdue change of spark plugs, since the price they quoted was 2/3 that of a dealer. They gave me a ride home (in a Cadillac), and my car was done the next day - washed and both tires and interior detailed. They’re polite, efficient, very good at what they do, and more than reasonably priced. This is a real find, and I’ll never go anywhere else.
Really cannot say enough positive things about this place. If you shop around to every single mechanic, you may be able to find a better deal on a minor scale. But, I took my car to another mechanic last year when they were offering a free car inspection. Suddenly my brakes were awful and they couldnt pass it. When not even 4 months prior I had it at the same place for a look over (including brakes) and not a word about them going bad. And I dont drive much. Wanted $400 for the work.At Convenience Car Care, I always know they mean what the say, and that they care about their customers. No pressure, no scams. This alone will save anyone money in the long run. Plus I have peace of mind. I cant put a price on that. No stress is a BIG plus.
Fast with the emissions check but my front bumper is missing paint on the driver side now- I just had that repainted a year ago- it’s really obvious and I’m really ticked. The other side of my bumper is loose now- it’s like they rammed my car into a wall; there’s residue from a light greenish blue vehicle- most likely a car. I thought it was too good to be true- the lobby, the smiles...and it was.
My go to mechanic doesn’t do inspections anymore. I thought I found a place near work to do it. They said they closed at 6. I fought horrible Old Town Alexandria traffic to get there only to be told in person that they close at 5. Since it took over 30 minutes to go a few blacks back through Old Town, I looked for a place online nearer my home. I found Convenience T&A, called, friendly lady told me their hours, I got there early, met a very nice mechanic who was opening the place who let me in early, very friendly and helpful staff and I was out the door after a reasonable wait. I’m definitely thinking of making them my new go to shop.
This team is just simply amazing. Been taking all of our cars there since they were at their old location. From fully diagnosing vehicle problems to the warm, friendly staff that is to be expected for the safety, responsibility, and financial investment of car ownership.
Convenience Car Care is a great car service provider. Toby provided excellent customer service. Convenience Car Care replaced my right & left Air Strut on my Range Rover. I spoke with Toby on Tuesday (my parts, I ordered ) were deliver Friday. We dropped the SUV off Sunday. The repairs were completed by Monday. Toby called and ask if I wanted a free quality inspection (oil, washer fluid, air pressure check etc....) prior to the service being performed ( I accepted). After all the repairs and checks were complete I paid for service over the phone with Toby. My vehicle was delivered to my wife at work in Manassas. Not only was Convenience Car Care very professional and courteous they were half the price of the dealership. BTW- this all happened over the phone; I will be bringing in donuts this week for the crew to thank them personally for the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have found a great local shop to have my Range Rover serviced. TEN STAR SERVICE...Thanks RC
Great and timely service. I arrived right before they were closing and they didn’t turn me down. Great people.
Nice staff but their mechanics tried to over sell me. Failed me for state inspection for something two other shops said they wouldnt fail. Also left a dirty rag in my car.
Im headed back in this morning to pick up a set of tires, Ive a NTW I can drop off and walk home from, but I prefer to drive to Convenience as they are one of two places I trust to do honest work and put the customers safety above just running a business AND it is entertaining at times. Last time I was there I saw a shade tree mechanic bring in his car (Lexus) because he was changing plugs. I hear him say My hands are too big and I cant get to the rear plugs (Seriously). He provides his own plugs, as HE TELLS them the code and the car was misfiring. So they tell him to get to those rear plugs they need to remove the valve cover and it would also need a new gasket when they replace it and they quote a price. He says wait and Ill be back. He then goes to a parts place and buys his own gasket. (oh this will be fun). The guy returns they start on the car only to find the guy bought the wrong gasket. So they get the right one and finish. The guys car is still misfiring BECAUSE it needed an induction service (as I recall) to clean out the carbon deposits. Timmy and his crew deal with these people every day and they are polite and respectful. If youre a shade tree mechanic they can definitely fix what you screw up. Trust yours and your familys safety to the people that KNOW what they are doing. They will treat you with respect and provide honest services for (in my opinion) fair rates. Again if I lived closer Id use them more and as said they are one of of only two shops I trust and have used for years.
I thought they were just a Dealership selling Antique, Muscle Car,..type vehicles but I was recommended to them via my Warranty. What I thought was a routine voltage regulator issue (overcharging my battery), had their technician detecting several other electrical issues (which they showed me the readings while diagnosing). They kept me fully informed, my 2015 F150 Lariat is totally repaired. I HIGHLY recommend them for ASE repairs for most vehicles and some of the nicest Late 60-early 90 vehicles to view or purchase. If theres a Negative, repairs took longer than anticipated but even that was because they were thorough and they took the initiative to call me in advance.
The owner Timmy runs a very honest shop and can fix almost anything. My special thanks gos out to him and his team for doing a full engine replacement on my 2010 Suburban. I purchased this Suburban used from Ford and Purchased the Ford Extended Service Plan from Ford. After owning the truck for a few months, the engine lights came on and the engine starting ticking. Timmy diagnosed the engine with low oil pressure and damage that occurred required a new Engine!. This is when things got really crazy. I gave Timmy the warranty info from the service plan I had purchased. After contacting the warrany company, they initially said that they would not replace the engine because it is an existing condition. Timmy, a highly qualified mechanic knew that this was not the case. An adjuster finally was sent by the insurance company who agreed that the engine should be replaced and that it would be covered under warranty. Thanks to Timmys hard work and patience, we were able to get them to pay what they owed for the engine. Having a mechanic that looks out for you is very important. I have read many reviews that say that the extended warranty companys often decline paying the first time around. They are looking for any excuse not to pay. Luckily, Timmy and Convenience were looking out for my interests. The Suburban Engine is replaced and I am happy to have it back!
Excellent service every time I visit. I trust their expertise and they never fail to exceed my expectations.
Convenience Care Car is a wonderful family-run business, and I surely always feel like a member of the family anytime I bring my truck there. The team always ensures the job is meticulously completed to my satisfaction.Timmy and John are always willing to discuss the issues I’ve had with the truck and walk through step-by-step what they did to resolve the issues. I surely will be a lifetime customer with this team – they are beyond friendly and helpful.
I needed some significant repair work for my sons Nissan Frontier and had assessments and estimates completed at 3 different shops before settling on Convenience Car Care. By a long shot, they are the most professional, trustworthy, and competent auto repair shop I have come across. From the beginning to the very end, I knew that (1) I was not being taken or up sold; (2) they were as concerned about doing a complete and professional job as I was; and (3) they were more concerned that I was happy and content with their repair work then they were about taking my payment. I will go back to them in a heartbeat.
Excellent customer service. Thorough work, though my experience was limited
Best customer service I have ever experienced at a shop! Unfortunately, my car needed $2,000 of work so I brought in junk yard parts and they installed them the next day for $300. On top of doing a quick and excellent job, they washed and vacuumed my filthy car! They definitely went above and beyond!
Had car towed to Convenience last minute. I had called multiple shops in the area and none would take me in since it was close to closing time at the end of the day. I called Convenience as my last resort, and surprisingly the woman on the other line not only said they would try to look at it, but would arrange the tow to come and pick me up. Thankfully a long story short, they diagnosed the problem and had it fixed, staying long past their closing time, to get me out the door that night. I cant thank them enough...this shop is awesome and the people are great.
Riped me off! I was charged for work that should’ve only taken less than an hour but the claim is they go by a guide that says it takes 2 1/5 hours. Then the kicker was I was quoted they charge $45 an hour to they charge $136 an hour! No mechanic charges that much. Long story short it cost me almost $300, lesson learned! Never again!
I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received yesterday at Convenience Tire & Auto! Friendly, knowledgable, trustworthy, and quick...I have found my new service spot! I am new to the area and went to another place to get my car inspected so I could get it registered. Despite telling the service people there that I was going to the DMV after to get it registered, and my out-of-state plates, they didnt bother to inform me that I needed an emissions inspection. The DMV employees even said the other place should have informed me I needed the emissions inspection. I am not a car person--that is why I count on service stations to tell me what I need to do! At any rate, I called up Convenience after a quick google search and a look at ratings and they took me right in and took care of my emissions test and even put on my new plates for me. I am very grateful to Timmy and the team for taking such good care for my car and being so welcoming!
Excellent service! They took excellent care of me and my vehicle. Definitely went above and beyond what they needed to do. The owner came out and greated me and made it feel that my vehicle was his own. The staff were very well knowledged and polite. Definitely going back for future maintenance!
Great shop, very honest. Stopped by and needed a small part welded. Owner personally helped me out, took it back, and did it on the spot for no charge. They go out of their way to take care of their customers here. Highly recommend.
Tim found me 2 sets of new tires for my 1985 Porsche 911 in less then 1 hour. After I decided on my tire brand. He had them at his shop and on my car all in the same day. BTW this was a Friday on a Holiday weekend. They were slammed and still found time for me. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Thank you!
Got quoted for over 1100 dollars for a simple fix at a different garage went here and they did it for 200 (and in an hour less time that I was quoted for). One of the most genuinely caring businesses Ive ever dealt with in any field, especially considering mechanics are usually...well, not great to deal with. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
What a GREAT experience...I used Convenience Care care for the first time this week and I can not say how pleased I am with the experience. Great Customer Car is a lost art in America, but these guys get it. My car would not start this week and I call my regular repair shop and was told get a tow and we will take a look at it. I must say I was a little heated after getting that response considering I was stuck in a parking lot with a car that would not start. I then got a ride to work and call Convenience Car Care because I had recently heard about them. WOW was I in for a surprise. When I called. Timmy the owner answered the phone. He said he would send his tow truck driver over to get my keys from me at work and go get the car. A day later all is fixed....bad fuel pump, he gave me a good description of the status of my vehicle and what I should be paying attention to over the next year. When I went to pick it back up it looked brand new. They even washed and armoralled the tires. Thank you guys for restoring my faith in that there are still businesses that go above and beyond. You now have a new Fan!!!!
My wife and I stumbled across Convenience Car Care several years ago when I was in need of tires for my car. I found Timmy to be honest and customer driven. We had Timmy doing all our maintenance, even on brand new cars. They offer rides to and from your home or business so you can continue with life while your vehicle is being serviced. They also have a great waiting area with internet service should you prefer to stay.Timmy even bought an old Mercedes of mine and gave it to his mom to drive, which she did for quite some time.Unfortunately, we moved to Alexandria and it became impractical for us to continue going there. We really miss the level of service and friendly atmosphere.Dont hesitate ....... they are the best!
Always friendly, upfront, quick and reliable.
Went in for a inspection and smog test, the staff is Awsome. From the counter girl to the mechanics, overall the experience here is what every shop should strive for. While the price is about what you would expect from a shop, I would definently choose convenience tire and auto over a cheaper shop and or chain like express tires or firestone. You can tell the staff is happy and take pride in their work, something alot of other shops / major chains are missing.
They are dishonest people, either they are selling car or repairing it. I bought a used car from this dealer which from the second day start having all kind of problem. Even though the owner/sales person told me it will work atleast for a year with no problem. Within a few days the battery died . I took it back, they told me They have to replace the battery. they gave me a bill for It that was higher than any other places. And more and more problems.Back and forth the car died in the middle of the highway after couple of month .and I was told to pay about $800. 00 to get it fix. Since I could not afford paying we agreed the dealer sell the car for me. He asked me to sign the title and give it to them for this purpose. Next thing I know they took over my car by claiming they have repaired the car and car has been in their lot, charging me $37.00 per night . That was never part of the agreement. That is how he took the car from me.
Is the best auto mechanic I. The area, very professional people. I like very much.
Went in for an emissions test..quick & easy. Super friendly staff and very family oriented!
They will over charge a female if you look like you dont know what is happening. They will try and fast talk you to get you to pay before you can get a second opinion
May have changed since they dropped their dealers license but definitely ripped people off on top of changing mileage of vehicles that they were selling
I went t oppp this location because my car would not start. They sent a mechanic to start my car. The mechanic provided me a jump start at no cost. Great service and now its on the top of my list of places to get my car repaired.
Great customer service the lady in Frony is the best prices are competitive and very clean Place very nice waiting areas very clean they even have a TV up there.
Great service. Fair prices. Friendly staff
They are just the best!
I went just for the state inspection. They were really good.
Absolutely terrible terrible customer service, extremely over priced. Quoted me a price of just about double other locations. Loaner car was a piece of crap that looks like it came from the junk yard. Theres many more reputable, friendly and reasonably priced places to take your vehicles to. In my opinion if you arent a car expert, as I am not, they will try to use that to their full advantage. I highly recommend going anywhere but to this place. Big waste of $254 in my opinion just for a diagnoses. Lessons learned, theyll never see my business again. If it was possible to not give them any stars at all I wouldnt but Google requires at least one.
I had an issue with my steering in my Odyssey. I already had taken it to AAA in Manassas so I knew what the problem was but wanted a 2nd opinion.Took it to CCC on Friday night late for them to look at Saturday morning. They confirmed what AAA had stated the problem was and came back about 10% lower pricing. They gave me a loaner car for the night too. Sure it was old and not the nicest car, but who cares. It got me where I needed to so it was fine. What made this trip outstanding is that they stayed open late for me on Saturday to make sure my van was fixed. They normally close at 2:00 but worked on my van until almost 7:00 to get it done for me that night. You wont find that service at most other companies.
Dishonest people. Be careful. Sold me a motorcycle supposedly in good working conditions, had to replace the transmission as soon as I received it.
Great honest people to do business with, been using them for years.
Incredibly pleasant experience. Walked in and the staff is amazingly nice and accommodating!
Mr.Tyrell is,an awsome person this place does excellent service i would recommend them to everyone
Quoted me a price for a service and some work, came in under the the quoted amount(yeah loved that) and was so professional and nice. I found a new mech team for my vehicles here!!
Great service, quality work, customer friendly, awesome facility, very clean. Synthetic oil change a little pricey
Service done right - customer and vehicle alike
Cindy is just the best
A great ways the app your car working on
Fast and contentious service at very fair prices
Good people. Honest.
The Tyrell family is amazing!
Very friendly staffs
Not very honest
