Small store but great new and used selection! Decent pricing and John was extremely helpful.

I wish I could’ve discovered this place sooner! John is so knowledgeable and so personable. He has a collection of vinyls ranging from Frank Sinatra to Tame Impala. You’ll most likely find any record you’re looking for! I love the decor of the store, I know I’ll be spending a lot of time there.

John is a humble Northern Virginia legend. Beyond the man himself: his shop has many gems labelled used vinyl with quality ratings as well as hidden among his cassette collection. From there, hes got the latest remastered vinyl presses and plenty of classic audio media to please all music collectors. Ask him anything about music and he has at least one thoughtful answer. Great place. Must check it out if visiting the area.

Really good selection, but some of the used vinyl was on the expensive side. Also noticed that some of the grading was not accurate (i.e. a VG record had some noticeable deep scratches). However the owner is super nice and again the selection was above average, and found some records from the 80s new still in shrink-wrap (how is that even possible anymore?). Also nice selection of newer records (these tended to be overpriced). Not your typical record store, the owner knows music and it shows. If you are into psychedelia, this is your place.

Stopped by to check out the shop while in Manassas for work. Had limited time to spend there, but ended up chatting with John about the roots of rock and metal! He shared stories about seeing Sabbath, and how his first show was Alice Cooper! Great atmosphere with a wide variety of music to choose from all throughout the years. The coolest thing is that he doesn’t even use a computer, some loyal customers made a business page for him! (That’s pretty neat, and probably comes from the fact that he delivers excellent customer service, all while sharing his love for music with you!) Extremely knowledgeable, and shared a few tips for prolonging vinyl life/sound quality. Would recommend swinging by as soon as you get the chance! Wish we had something like this near home!Thrash Forever! 🤘🏻

Ive been going to dragon song even before they were in this location. Its very hard to go in and not spend money. They just always seem to have what I want. The service is always excellent. The vinyl isnt just older stuff either. They also have new artists on vinyl. Its just a really great store if youre into music.

Best hidden gem in Manassas. I spent two hours looking through all of the records. This place had brand new records as well as previously owned ones. The owner was even nice enough to explain the record rating system to me, VG, Mint etc. .. He even offered to order some of the others I need. I definitely will be going back for more records.

This store has been around since I was a child. I still love to go in and check out their oils, incense, shirts, and of course NEW and OLD records. Definitely worth a stop in!

I grew up in Manassas but somehow Ive always missed this little shopping center. I stopped into Dragon Song yesterday and was blown away by the atmosphere. I ended up talking to the owner, John, for quite a bit of time! He showed a deep passion for music and had a lot of interesting knowledge that he shared with me. Vinyl, 8-track, CDs, tapestries, posters, blankets, stickers, even some jewelry, this place has it ALL! If youre into anything from the 50s to modern rock, this store is a MUST GO!!!ESPECIALLY if you enjoy decor!

The owner is very helpful, he will do his best to find whatever vinyl that you are searching for. Reasonable prices, I absolutely love the incense (fizzy pop)try it 😊
