Went in with my husband to switch over to verizon. Store employees had a customer at every desk. We walked around trying to figure out what to do..didnt see a take a number sign, have a seat sign or anything saying to a new potential customer what to do because NOT ONE EMPLOYEE said Hello or be right with you... Nothing at all during the 25 minutes we stood waiting for acknowledgement. I turned around and walked out seeing none were finishing up any time soon.
Chris at Verizon store in Mandeville is very knowledgeable and knows his product. He was very helpful in explaining the plans and options. He is very personable and professional. Go visit him today. You will be very glad you did.

I am so thankful for Brad and Cellular Sales! My phone battery was totally kaput right before Hurricane Ida and I didn’t know how I was going to stay in touch with family during evacuation. The store was open when I needed them and Brad patiently helped me set up my beautiful iPhone 12 Pro Max. I recommend Cellular Sales over the regular stores for special attention when it matters most.

Brad Meyer, is an awesome and patient sale associate. I visited the store to inquire about the new internet service, Brad did some investigating and discovered it wasnt available in my area just yet. However, he did set me up to receive updates when it would be available. Brad, also noticed my account needed to be updated and also put me in a new plan/same plan were I am saving money. SO YEAH BRAD!
Long story short my IPhone dropped on concrete and died. It was a Sunday at 5:53pm when I called the store on 190, Mandeville. I was told they closed in 7 minutes I asked if someone could please stay and help me, in desperation! Samuel Diamond stayed even though he had dinner plans with his Father! Samuel saved my life and is an excellent person! I highly recommend this Verizon store and ask for Samuel Diamond!!Cheers my hero!!!!!
At first it was very busy and we had to wait for quite a while, we left for a couple of hours and came back and we were able to get right back in within 10 minutes. Ian was very helpful, he explained the current package that we had and options for new packages that they offer. I was able to make an informed decision and really appreciate the assistance and understanding. We also purchased an upgraded phone and he walked through all the steps of making sure it was set up and protected before we even left the store.

I went to this store with the intentions of adding my girlfriend to my plan so we could save some money. As soon as we started speaking to the sales person he started trying to sell plans, phones, tablets... I understand, he is a sales person, its his job. We explained what we were trying to do and were told that if we upgraded to the Start Unlimited plan we would get a really good trade in value ($400) on my girlfriends phone but it would have been around $20 more per month. We greed on the Start Unlimited plan so they started setting up her new phone. They ported her number over from Sprint and did whatever else they do. A few minutes go by and the sales person informed us he had mad a mistake.... we would only get half of the trade-in value we were originally quoted unless we moved up to the next, more expensive unlimited plan! I told him we were not spending anymore money and it is no longer worth it to upgrade the phone. He tried to justify why it was a good deal to upgrade the plan but I told him again, NO, ITS TOO MUCH MONEY. About 10 minutes go by and instead of trying to get my girlfriends phone number ported back to Sprint he again tries to explain to me why its a good deal. It was like being at a car dealership! My girlfriend, not the sales person, had to call Sprint to see about getting her phone number back.We were in the store for an hour and a half and all that was accomplished was removing cell phone service from my girlfriends phone for the next 3 days. AND, my Verizon account still shows 2 phone lines and says I have the unlimited plan... Not sure if they really corrected anything. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE!!!!
Don’t ever go there asking for help with your cellphone. You will just get an “ uhhh we are the network” by a smug jerk employee.
I purchased a Bluetooth along with my new phone and plan. Sales person clearly told me you can return the Bluetooth if not satisfied. Went back 6 days later to return the Bluetooth. Now they dont remember the conversation we had nor will they except the return. A different sales person even stated lm not taking it back so they can deduct it off my sales. I would not have purchased it knowing l could not return it nor does the receipt have a return policy on it. So you lied to me just to make a sale.Bluetooth because it would not work w

Bought a new iPhone from Jock. He handled the sale quickly and helped me get an 18v wall charger. A few days after the sale my hotspot quit working but Jock fixed that as well. Great service overall 👍🏽
It was time for a new phone. The Verizon Store representative, Vanessa, was very helpful, professional, yet friendly, and showed me options for new phones. She allowed me the time to ask questions, view the phones, weigh the options, and make a decision. Never did she push a particular brand or OS. Overall, a 5 star experience.

We have loved Chris when visiting this location! He has helped us when our daughter got married and went to her own plan, getting our upgraded phones and now getting our teenager a phone! We love that he checks in on us and our phones! As busy as this location is, the store always looks great and the staff is courteous!
I had a great experience with excellent customer service at this location and at the one in Slidell. The team helped me with providing a new phone at the best price possible compared to big box stores and corporate store. They also worked with me to transfer my files to my new phone. Also, they worked tirelessly to help me with phones I brought in to get transferred to Verizon for my disabled brother in law. Some of the phone were not compatible, but the team worked very hard to try to activate it before we came to the conclusion that we needed to get him a stock Verizon flip phone. I highly recommend this place over big box store or the corporate store.

Ive been here three times over the last 6 years. The purpose of my first visit was to discuss a cell phone upgrade since I have been with Verizon for 12 years. During my first visit the salesman was not knowledgeable about the cellphone I wanted. The phone was not in stock even though it had been out for several weeks and the salesman seemed not to care if I bought a phone there or not. My second visit was simply to purchase a charger for a Verizon cell phone that I already owned. Again, customer service was poor. there were several customers standing around inside the store waiting to be helped and there was only one salesman working. However, a manager was sitting at his desk eating lunch and seemed not to care about all the customers standing around. He never attempted to help anyone.So rather than wait what seemed like would be forever, I left the business and went to the Verizon store in Covington.My last visit was when the pixel 4 came out. I went to the store after I had already ordered/attempted to order, a Pixel 4 XL on Verizons website. After the online order, Verizon emailed me notifying me that my payment did not go through. After several attempts to pay for the phone online, I was locked out and received a message directing me to go to a Verizon store to complete the purchase.When I arrived at the Verizon store, the salesman called Verizon on the phone and had my order cancelled. He then placed an order from within his store for the phone and I paid for it. After paying for the phone, the salesman told me it would be 6 weeks until the phone arrived even though it had already been released and was in stock at the other Verizon store and at Best Buy. I asked him to cancel the order and told him that I would just go to the Covington store to purchase the phone. He insisted that he had to wait until the phone arrived at his store so he could get the serial number off of it in order for him to cancel the order and refund my money. I spoke with his manager who confirmed his story. The story the were telling me seemed sketchy at Best.I departed and went to Best Buy for unrelated shopping. While at Best Buy, I decided to ask about the phone I wanted. They told me the Salesman at Verizon had lied to me about cancelling my order and refunding my money. They said they could call Verizon and get it done easily. The Best Buy salesman called Verizon and easily cancelled my pending order then sold me a phone which was in stock! The salesman told me that he has assisted customers with similar complaints about the Verizon store in question and that it was his personal observation that the salespeople at the Mandeville Verizon store lie to customers in order to not lose a sale.I should say that I have always had great service at the Covington Verizon store even when theyre busy. I will be going to the Covington store or to Best Buy from now on.

Service was good at first. The sales person brought out numerous phones for me to look at and try. But what they intentionally neglect to tell you is that they are going to charge you $50 to sell you a phone, and that it is NON-REFUNDABLE! Biggest b.s. racket! They charge you $50 to perform actions you are fully capable of performing yourself! Order your phone online directly from your provider, or make sure you go to an official Verizon store, not an Authorized Retailer. Then you only pay the $30 activation charge, which is also ridiculous.
Chris helped me today and he was completely honest and transparent with me and helped me to figure out what the best phone and plan was for me with NO pressure. He is the best!!!
Absolutely useless and dishonest salespeople. If there was a 0 star option, I would have selected it. We delt with Kyle and Cody and both flat out lied to me and my wife about a phones capabilities. When confronted about it Kyle admitted he lied but said it was a technicality. If you want honest people with actual knowledge and integrity who dont get commission, go online. You may have to wait a little long to talk to someone but it is way worth it. Ive always bought online with Verizon but decided to give this store a shot. Boy was that a huge mistake.

First thing, this is not a “REAL” Verizon. This is an authorized retailer. You may be asking what is the difference between a real Verizon and an Authorized retailer. Well let me tell you: first off this location will charge you a “Setup fee”. Look carefully at your receipt, it will be on there. It will range from $20-$50. They charge this to do simple tasks that you could do yourself and never tell you that it’s optional. They charge you to move your photos from one phone to another, setup your iCloud or Gmail, or even change out a SIM card. Corporate, aka REAL Verizon stores do not charge for these tasks. Also, you will pay more for any phone you purchase from them. Sometimes it’s only $10, often times it’s hundreds more. Again, this is not the case at a REAL Verizon store. If you are an iPhone user, they will try to sway you to an LG or similar android phone. Why? By they make more commission if you buy one of these inferior phones. LG is without a doubt the worse cell phone anyone can own. Please do your research and see for yourself. Corporate aka REAL Verizon’s don’t care what phone they sell you, by they aren’t paid on what type of phone they sell you. This store will often sell older phones and tell you it’s the latest model. They will do this and still sell it to you at the original MSRP, when it can often be had for hundreds less. They will often sell damaged phones and pass them off as new. How can you tell? The box will have a red check on one side. This is proof that the phone was damaged and previously owned. Oh, I forgot, they sell used phones too, but they won’t disclose that until after your purchase and only when you ask them why it says “used” on your receipt. I beg you, do yourself and your wallet a favor, and just go to the corporate aka REAL Verizon on Hwy 190 in Covington. Yes, the wait will be longer, and the service might not be as good, but you won’t get ripped off or taken advantage of. You won’t be lied to or cheated out of your money. This store should be shut down! My mother went in with a problem with her iPhone, and was sold an older LG phone, that was used. She paid well over $200 more than the store on 190 in Covington would have charged her, and was also charged $50 for her picture transfer. When I came into town to return it, they told me I couldn’t. That she had had it more than 14 days. Oh, that’s another thing. You buy something on the July 1, and go back on July 15, it’s too late. They consider the first day to be July 1, so actually you only have 13 days to return something. These people are crooked and inhumane. Taking advantage of little old ladies is something I’m sure they pride themselves on!

Before you buy your next cell phone from Verizon make certain it is an independently Owned cellular sales.. Let me tell you why I purchased mine in Covington and after I spent a lot of money was given the phone and basically pushed out the door saying they could not hook up my contacts or anything. After I failed numerous times I somehow wandered and to end the independently own store In Mandeville located right next to the Regions Bank. I was received graciously and said of course they could help me with my contacts offered a more comfortable seat on a cushioned loveseat and offered a cup of coffee. I cannot say enough about Chris and the other workers in this store. Before you buy your next phone are any accessories check with these guys they offer excellent customer service
Went in to upgrade my phone today. The 2 sales associates that were there were busy with patients. After a couple of minutes another sales associate came in and started longing on. Then another customer comes in an greets them and starts to help them. Not one sales associate said a word to me the whole time I was there. Very incompitant when it comes to customer service.

I came to the store and I was in a bad mood because I broke my phone into two pieces and was nervous I would lose all my contacts. Milli not only put me at ease but she was able to get all my contacts back into my new phone. She was not only patient with me but also very sweet.
The customer service gentleman put me on the phone and instead of the Custer serviceman seen some one come in the door he quickly walked away excitedly to visit with the gentleman. Finally after about 15 min. I told the lady on the phone that I would call back when I could get someone else to help me. The guy that helped me tried to stop me and I told him he was to busy with the gentleman who had come in than to help me.
