We ordered a deep freeze sight unseen during the lockdown. They were hard to find but these guys came through. Unfortunately we got home only to find it had been damaged; apparently that was true of the whole shipment. It was all cosmetic though it was fairly banged up. They eventually made it right and I appreciated their effort to do so.

Ordered everything over the phone after finding my make and model of all home appliances. Appliance Discounters beat all competition by hundreds of dollars. Today is install and so far the delivery/install technicians have been great to work with. Thanks Dan and John!

I visited the store on Watson Road, looking for a specific dishwasher that I had researched extensively. I knew what the going price was, but I was looking for a deal (discount). This place had a higher price (not by much) that any other retailer. I called them on their price, and they offered their floor model at a price the was still a few dollars more than the new price from most other retailers. Looking for a discount on appliances? Keep looking! This is not the place.

We purchased 2 appliances recently from Ken at the Watson Rd store. The customer service was excellent. One appliance went in with no issues and the other didnt fit in the dedicated space. They stood behind the sale and tried multiple ways to make it work and finally got one that did after Ken did extensive research.The installers/ delivery service is superior. We had multiple dealings with them due to the issues above and each and every one of them was outstanding. The owner, James, was great and went above and beyond to make this appliance work.Highly recommend.

My husband and I had an easy shopping experience for our first dishwasher with Brian at The Appliance Discounters. There is no competition regarding price for the quality of product. They were very communicative with us throughout the process. It was easy to schedule the delivery and the installation went smoothly. We bought an amazing stove about a year ago & was so happy with the experience, we just bought a dishwasher. Ken is great & takes the time to explain the appliances in detail, also I have shopped around & Appliance Discounters is by far the BEST & the CHEAPEST! 5 STARS!!

Because I believe in supporting local businesses whenever possible, I purchased a high efficiency washer/dryer from Appliance Discounters in Webster Groves. Being Black Friday weekend I had multiple choices for the same product at even lower prices. However, seeing the sign in the store claiming We treat everyone like family, I was willing to pay more in hope of good service after sale. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Dryer came without the shoe drying rack (promised at the time of sale); washer was not leveled properly and moved during every load; and the dryer was taking up to 2 HOURS to dry a medium size load! Regarding the lengthy drying times, the salesman advised me to clean my outside vent. After several calls, they finally agreed to send a repair man to check it, only to discover that the gas was never turned back on to the dryer by the delivery men. Months of wasted ELECTRICITY, not to mention my time, trying to dry clothes in a gas dryer without gas! And that shoe drying rack which was promised at the time of the sale...three times I have been told it was somewhere in the warehouse, but it mysteriously disappears! Last story was that it was being ordered directly from the manufacturer and shipped directly to my house. It must have disappeared again!! Dont expect service after the sale here...and if this is the way they treat family, Im glad Im not related.

Ordered a range and fridge from this place in Feb. My scratch and dent range wouldnt even stand up straight and had exposed oven insulation. Does this really look safe to send out to customers? Exchanged the range out for a different one. Weve had our new fridge worked on twice already because the fridge section does not get cold at all. Weve had to throw away a fridge full of food 2 different times. Would not recommend to anybody.

Weve used them several times, both the St. Charles & Maplewood locations, and had great experiences every time. Theyll match or beat anyones price and deliver/install - and it all can be done over the phone if you already know what you want. Shop around, find the best deal, then call them up.

I am a real estate agent and have recommended Appliance Discounters to my clients and have also bought all my appliances from them. I have always received great service, prompt with quotes and great installation. My clients have always been happy. They are easy to work with and will give you undivided attention when planning a new kitchen.

Do NOT do Business here. This store does NOT care about its customers. Sold a repair plan. Refrigerator still not work after 6 weeks. No communication. Ignoring calls. This is how they treat customers.

I am now less likely to shop at a small business shop based solely off of how poor this place is at everything - customer service, delivery, install, etc. We waited four months to receive a overhead exhaust filter for no known reason and it only showed up when I asked for them to come uninstall it entirely. On the phone, the owner threw the installer under the bus saying he was sick the whole time then got mad on the phone when I explained why thats an ignorant excuse. On final install, the newly healthy installer knocked one of the lightbulbs out of the exhaust and said he would mail over new ones, which of course didnt happen.Do not purchase anything from this place. I wish I could suggest another local small business, but in terms of kitchen appliances, I cant do it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE ST. CHARLES STORE. Worst experience I have ever had buying appliances. Spent over $3500 on a new GE refrigerator and dishwasher. Trip one: dishwasher was installed and then made a horrible sound when going through rinse cycle. Trip Two, day two off work: New dishwasher was installed and works great. At this time, my new refrigerator was installed. While the install crew was TRYING to fit it through my front door, they decided to take a short cut and not remove the doors. BIG MISTAKE. Called Appliance Discounters for the third time and told them the refrigerator was scratched to pieces and so was my storm door. They offered me a $50 damage claim and said GE would come to give me new doors the next day. Day three off work: GE shows up to tell me that they do not have the doors and that I should call Appliance Discounters and tell them I want a new refrigerator. So, I am waiting for a call back from them as we speak. I am going to tell them to come get all of their appliances and I will go somewhere else. Three days off work and $3500 later, I am NOT a happy customer!
