Took my father in law to buy wood and planting pots. Didnt find any nice pot sizes. Staffs at the door doesnt welcome their customers 😒 why put them at the door.Cashier he was a young tall guy was very friendly.

Excellent service people. Helped us with credit card applications that allowed us to save $25 immediately. Had great selections of electrical voltage checkers. Service people assisted us loading large lawn mower into our SUV. They were even giving out chocolate bars.

Very confused about they way you order a sink to be installed by Home Depot. If item is instore is fine, but what if you want is online it is considered special order even if it is in their warehouse. Then it becomes a fiasco and more expensive if you dont have your own plumber. They seem to gouge you throughout this. The plumber was even more because of the special order. Good to know going forward.

I love Home Depots selection of plants. I always end up buying a plant no matter what I came for. The employees at this location are very friendly and helpful.

Very positive experience from friendly helpful associates, clean, and organized, including checkout. Oh, and I just found out that this Maplewood location accepts shrink wrap for recycling which is used for manufacturing composite decking. Plus... they take plastic plant pots and rechargeable batteries. Those are great contributions in the recycling department that help our life-sustaining earth ❤️. Came here to get 5 gallon jugs of water they actually had a better water stand then the other home depots I have been to. Also the place was pretty dead when we went here. Not a whole lot of people but they had everything we needed.

I used to work here. This is among the best Home Depots. THD WILL price match on precisely the same item. And they will match Menards rebate sale when it is on (ask) it is also going to be a rebate, but that is the nature of a price match.I would say that if youre a contractor, it is the only one worth your time. Contractors would bypass other THDs that were closer to job site to go to Maplewood.Rarely is something critical out of stock.

I had some 2x4x10s pulled and they didnt do a terrible job, I just have to return a few boards that would have been better suited for pallets.

Home Depot on Robert Street and the one on White Bear they have some lazy workers there and they racial profile you except this one lady her name is Kathy on Robert Street beautiful lady nice lady I was so upset because no one was not helping me and I still care for 25 minutes she was the only one that helped kudos to her and God bless her everybody else they read your profile you a cashier I forgot her name but she worked on Friday the 13th real sweet young lady beautiful young lady she work in returns beautiful girls sweet girl continue to do a good job you was a blessing

Goin down hill, depot...☹️Trying to trick people and keep up with the Amazon way. People especially Diyers dont want to order from YOU online. We want to walk in and at least have options that are close enough that they will work. Most times we dont have the time, or want to wait to get what we are looking for. I know yall have lost close to 10k from me in the last 2yrs alone. 100 of me, thats a million in revenue yall lost because of this horrible system you have not changed.HD used to be my #1 store.Menards was my last still not up the list, but tied with HD.

As a first time home owner, I was excited to visit Home Depot! Unfortunately, employees didnt acknowledge us or even offer to help us. Obviously I would ask for help if I need it, but you would think they would offer help.. One employee was pushing his pallet jack with a pallet facing forward and almost hit us in the aisle. He didnt even apologize or anything. Self check out guy was busy talking with his buddy. None of the employees would even look me in the eye lol. Walmart employees would probably give these guys a run for their money. Id never be back. Ill go spend a couple thousand somewhere else.

I ordered a hanging plant from Home Depot and when it was delivered it was a mess. So I took it to the store, with my dog in tow, and they accepted the return with no problem and a smile. Very courteous. They love having dogs come in their store!!

It’s nice to have a Home Depot within short distance of home. The garden center had great plants this year!

This store has what you need. Normally very open and clean. Lately the walk aisles are stuffed with floor displays, which pushes the customer traffic into narrow spaces. If we got space back I would rank it a 5 star place. Understand that its not up to the employees, but still a little too cramped.

Tried to buy a shed and no one there knew how. Asked a simple question and they couldnt answer it. The manager refused to come to figure anything. They gave us a brochure and told us to call that number and leave.We will not return to this home depot. Nothing is in stock, the employees are not intelligent, and overall they act uninterested or high.

I have been going to this Home Depot for 14 years and have spent alot of money there. I would often drive past Menards to go there mostly because the employees were helpful. This has seemed to change recently. Twice I have been there looking for help the first time I had to interrupt a conversation of four employees standing in the middle of the self checkout section. One employee sort of seemed annoyed by this. Today I was there to buy 4 windows and some items for my daughters new room. I gave up on the windows when I asked an employee where all of the carts were, he pointed and said plainly they are outside by the pro desk. I looked right at him and started putting the windows back on the shelf and he walked away (I can buy windows anywhere). I went up to the checkout where 1 employee was running a register and again 4 employees standing in the self checkout area talking. This was at 2:30 pm and the store was busy. I tried using the self checkout on my small items, for some reason one item wouldnt scan. I turned, looked at the employees who I didnt want to interrupt and waited for about 20 seconds. Finally, I just began to walk out. As I did one employee asked if I was going to complete my purchase...I said no there is no one ever around here to help, just finish your conversation. I stopped at Menards and spent $738.45. And low and behold an employee helped me checkout my items.

Has always been hard to find stuff, even harder to find help. Really do hate the fact that a lot of stuff is online order also, you would think at least a couple stores would stock a few of these online stuff.

Employee Bob is very knowledgeable and always helps me to get the correct tools and materials that I need.

First time to this location, fortunately it was laid out pretty similar to my usual store (one thing I love about HD that you dont find at Menards). Was able to find what I needed, store was clean, and employees friendly.

Wide selection of items. Very clean and neat environment. If you wanted to explore your options, it would take hours! I went to look for an electric stove and came across these really nice lifeproof waterproof vinyl tiles Id like to put in my bathroom when we remodel it. Vinyl tiling just gets better and better.

People was cutting in lines.Nobody said nothing.They need ticket systemI work there to provide tickets. I go out there and issue out tickets so everybody get a ticket and noone cuts in line.

I brought my pup in with me and he excited pee’d twice when they petted him. They staff were so nice telling me it was okay since I was so embarrassed and that it’s worth it to see all the dogs and that things like that happen.

Looking to replace my staircase in my house tonight and no one knew anything about there own product. 5 different people later I was told to come back tomorrow between 7am and 12nn because thats when the contractors work. Called and talked to the manager of the store and share my disappointment she could of cared less. I guess you have so much business to care about mine. PS was going to schedule countertops also but so upset about the staircase I just left. That why people tell me to just go to Lowes they know what they are doing.

Bought a Dewalt 6 gallon air compressor and an 18ga Dewalt pneumatic brad nailer for $199+tax. They didnt have any 1 or 2 galvanized brad nails. Will go to NE Minneapolis tomorrow to pick some up.

We recently bought a washer and dryer. It was well priced but the dryer arrived with a giant scratch. When we confronted the delivery crew about the damage before they left, the delivery people were not only rude but lied about the contract and damages. Home Depot now won’t take responsibility for the damage and we have to wait an additional 48hrs for LG to even set up a delivery for a new dryer. Needless to say, we will not make any large purchases from Home Depot again.

Cashier Mary was the most easily pleasant person who waited on me.

Normally I have a good experience here, but yesterday when I visited the entire garden department staff seemed to be busy helping one or two customers. I stood by them for about 10 minutes waiting for one of them to be available to help, and still no one offered help or noticed me waiting.

Spoke with Ron today about online ordering of washers and dryers, so thankful for the knowledgable, quality, friendly assistance I had after several calls to another location were fruitless. Thanks much!

Lazy customer service. She didnt even care to look into my online order...says it is at the store and she is telling me no, it is not it says Monday I read to her that it said delivered 5 hours ago. My questions and concerns were not answered. Need better customer service...would be a higher star but I just feel like I have been waiting for this item for quite some time...

The staff is always great, their prices are competitive but on the high side of competitive but the quality of their lumber is hit and miss.

Its a Home Depot. Theyre all basicall the same, which is kind of the point. This ones well stocked and clean. Never had a hard time finding what I need here.

They noticed me, but they could tell I wanted and did my research to find most of my items. Then they lent a helping hand.

I do not recommend anybody anybody buy the flooring here. Anything that could go wrong has. We’ve been overcharged, they’ve sent out the measure person twice, gave us broken flooring, canceled the order by accident, sent us emails saying we owe money even though we paid in full at the time of purchase, screwed up the military discount and so much more. The worse was the contractors discovering 16 boxes of flooring were damaged upon arrival. When I complain to the manager about all of the screw ups, he blamed it on me instead.

The staff were very helpful. I got an amazing deal it was a display model. The worker who took it down remembered me the next day. He was a super nice guy working in the plumbing department at the time.

I was completely disappointed. I went in for a product u have never been out of but were. Not only that your associate couldnt tell me when you would get more in. He said we dont have any idea what comes in on any trucks. Seems kind of bad planning on a billion dollar business.

I open a homedepot credit card they have a will get $100 for reward but since i open i have not use that $100. later I said i will use it at when i purchase at homedepot and they took it off $100 on my total but it showed that i still have $100 need to play on my billing payment which i did notice until that late fees come out on my credit score....if that $100 is expired why dont just told me at the time i could not use it so i can pay all why subtract it and charge me plus i lose 60 credit for that...

Went to this location (8/30/20) to get a Halloween product after discovering it to be sold out in another Home Depot.Despite the fact they hadnt even displayed or brought it out from the warehouse yet, they did go completely out of their way to go through pallets in the warehouse and find it for us.Were very appreciative and would like to say thank you to both of those individuals who helped, and saved our hour long drive to get it.I apologize for not remembering names. However, it was a 12 foot skeleton :)

Its a nice store, well stocked, and pretty consistent with the website. I think for a store of that size it should be more workers. Being in the store for 30 mins only 1 worker made contact with me to see if I needed help when I was on my way out. Not a good thing for paying customers.

Being that the location of this Home Depot is in Maplewood, Mn makes it the go to Home Depot for a lot of the surrounding towns. It would probably be a good idea if they thought about expanding the store itself based on its location!

Terrible customer service. Waited for 35 minutes for blinds department employee to help us cut blinds. They finally sent over an employee who couldn’t answer any of our questions and didn’t know how to work the machine. I asked her to ask for help from a coworker because she clearly couldn’t help us. She did not return for more than 5 minutes. I went and found someone else. We did the math for the employee and he still cut off the wrong amount. Absolutely terrible experience.

Do Not order Anderson windows through Home Depot!! if you do you will work with the Worst Delivery company(Meridian delivery company) ever in history. We would highly recommend having those windows delivered to Home Depot and pick them up yourselves. They will hold your windows hostage and you will never get them! We have been waiting 13 days to have them delivered and we still dont have them. Anderson sent them to this company on time and we wait. Absolutely the worst services ever!!!!
