I love the staff at this location. (County Rd D and White Bear Ave) Things have been rough for them during the pandemic and the hours have been a little crazy but they are always friendly anyways. They know my drink order by now and it comes out perfectly every time. I look forward to my afternoon Caribou pick-me-up each day. Yum!

Ordered 2 drinks w/ no ice. I understand they aren’t going to fill the cup all the way, but I also know it’s uploaded to be to the black line at least (foam does not count). Super disappointing. Also adding this this was my husbands birthday drink…

Pre-ordered two boxes for my wedding this morning and arrived only to told they dont have boxes. Unacceptable, at least send an email or phone call to notify me so I dont waste time waiting in line on my wedding day

I keep trying out different Caribous because this one isnt the most convenient. Its not close to my house, its not on route, and its always busy.Despite all that, when I go to this location my order is right. Im not greeted with a sign on the door telling me the dining room is closed. The staff is friendly and helpful.Can we just move this location closer to my house? I dont mind waiting a few minutes for a coffee if itll be right, thank you so much!

This location is disgusting. I just watched one of the baristas texting on her phone and then handled my bagel with no gloves. Also, I know a plain bagel with plain cream cheese is a hard order to fulfill but they couldn’t even get that correct. Do not waste your time or risk your health. Management is obviously MIA or part of the problem.

I am not sure why this happens. But it’s happened on more than one occasion at this location. (Haven’t had one sip). I order a medium or large coffee and when I scrape away what foam they have added it ends up being the next size down from what I order. I really enjoy my coffee I get from caribou (I’d say it’s about 5 days a week). But recently.....NOT HAPPY! Times are tough right now. This may have been my last one!! 🥴😢

Love this caribou . Everyones so nice and our drinks are always perfect.

4 tries to visit. Closed every time. Only sign is a little piece of paper you can only see when you walk up to the door. I like, well liked, caribou more than Starbucks but Im guessing they are going out of business since they are always closed.

They make a great white chocolate mocha best of all the coffee shops. Wish the raspberry white chocolate scones would return.

Great place to get that campfire mocha drink. I loved how they provided a pup cup for my dog :)

Staff is always very friendly and cheerful, even when it gets busy. Convenient drive through for those of us with animals that cannot go outside and my dogs love getting their pup cup treats when visiting.

Had a iced Cafe mocha with dark chocolate & whole milk and a lemon poppy seed cake. Dined in with practically the whole dining room to myself & a friend.

The people working there are always friendly! I was really wanting the hot cinnamon spiced tea this morning and that was the main reason we drove there but of course they were out. They had a bunch of new options for tea but none of them sounded appealing. I really basic and just wanted my basic tea.

I was just at the drive Thur the lady taking the orders was incredibly rude and short. Called to talyo manager and she was indifferent and rude. This is such a disappointment as when I get my coffee its cheer me up and having rude service is terrible. AVOID this place! Unless you like being treated like garbage

They got our order wrong. I ordered and the person repeated it a lemon poppy seed bread and they gave me a cinnamon one. And they didnt give me my bean on my mocha.

I ordered an iced hazelnut chai latte and an Apple fritter and both were very delicious! Also the drink was made about the fastest I’ve ever seen someone make one like it! So fast that I thought what turned out to be my drink had to have been someone else’s drink sitting and waiting to be picked up. Very clean and well distanced table layout too. Bathrooms were clean when I visited too.

This place is pretty much always busy being by the mall. Especially around the holidays. Sometimes they work too fast and get your order wrong. I have a dairy allergy, so it sometimes doesnt work out well for me. Staff is always friendly though. When they are super busy I keep my order easy. Also has a nice fireplace (like most Caribous) with comfy chairs.

All the people there are super nice! I always get my drink in under 2 minutes Especially that girl Alexa. she’s always so nice and a cutie! UwU

I was trying to figure out how to post my photo but it currently isnt working. Ive been going here for a couple years... since COVID started... the quality in the beverages arent the same. The majority of the staff are very rude. I always, ALWAYS ask for light ice yet somehow Im given more ice. I order the SAME drink EVERYDAY and only one person remembers it. I dont know her name though I appreciate it greatly. The rest of the workers dont seem to care... Good customer service is knowing your customers especially if they come everyday. I will start going to a new location... even though this is closest to house Im willing to drive elsewhere where I know Ill be acknowledged, heard and understood.

The dining room area is open for carryout only. All of the staff are very cautious about cleanliness and safety with contact. I have always felt that $5 is too much for a medium coffee but this drink was really good. It was delicious The Bagel was warm and fresh and the cream cheese was perfect.

Coffee was good, but customer service needs a little help. I thanked the young man for my Coffee at the drive-through window and he just ignored me and started doing something else. I then thanked him again to get his attention and he said yeah, yeah.

I have never received such amazing customer service, I love the staff and manager here, my go to for my decaf almond milk coffee, amazing coffee shop. I have met friends here for a chat over coffee many times, couldnt be more pleased!!

My pregnancy brain and I stopped by drivetrhu. After ordering I realized I forgot my wallet and pulled up to the window and apologized for forgetting my wallet at home. I said that I’d come back and pay for my small sparkling iced green tea lemonade. However, Aundrea was so kind to just give me the drink without charge. I’ll be back to leave a big tip. Very thankful for this kind gesture as I am very pregnant. Thank you Aundrea!!! You rock!!

Drive thru is unbearably slow. I dont mind some wait, but 20+ minutes is crazy.

This location has always been top notch for service and attitude. It is one of the best locations because your drink is always made correctly, you are always treated with kindess, and the employees are always smiling to brighten their days and yours. If you want quick coffee service with positivity, this is where you want to go.

I decided to order from the Caribou app even though I was parked in the lot. The drive thru line frightened me and I knew it would be too conspicuous to go in right after I ordered so I sat in my car and waited a bit while taking in the scene. This Caribous location seems to be tightly enclosed by businesses on all sides. Once my abbreviated wait time was up, I went in for my bagel and smear, and the cashier handed me the bag by hand. Well done! And I was on my way. Great service!

It takes forever for them to make your drink. My sister and I waited for 20 minutes when all we ordered was iced green tea! We had actually thought they had forgotten our orders. The people in the drive-through got their drinks almost instantly. Six cars had their drinks before we got ours and we ordered first. Not happy spending $6.00 of hard earned money a drink for this type of service.

Went here for my free birthday coffee- any coffee any size by the way. Used the order ahead function on the app and it was easy and ready to go when I got there. Way quicker. I suggest signing up for your birthday at the very least.

Always on point. Been here dozens and dozens of times. I have had wrong orders when there is 12+ cars in line...they take care of you FIRST. They are all super pleasant and they make a delicious cup of coffee.

Coffee is as good as always. The download speed was under 1 Mbps making it nearly impossible to get anything done, taking forever to load even low quality images. The worker said the internet is pretty much always like this, so if you need to get things done Id look elsewhere.

Caribou is the best coffee chain in the country, period. This location exemplifies their ethos; quality, handcrafted beverages that, quite simply, taste better than the others, served with a healthy dose of MN nice. Two beverage recommendations: the full rack mocha, and the still relatively new Nitro Cold Press. Full rack equals all three types of chocolate chips (not syrup) melted to perfection. The Nitro uses a nitrogen effervescent system to stir things up and, quite literally, get your body moving faster. Check it out- you wont be disappointed :-)

I love the location, the variety of seating (which there is plenty of), and the atmosphere. This particular visit took about 10 minutes or more to get my sandwich. I think that they forgot about putting my food order in. It also took quite a while to just get my drink. Maybe this was an unusually busy day. Update: I came back from the first time since my last review and had to wait for a very long time for somebody to come over totake my order. I love occasionally working from this location, but would like to see the customer service amped up just a bit.

Caribous are a treat. They are fast and efficient, prompt and courteous. Plus, they use chocolate. Real chocolate. Your choice of white, milk, or dark. That is all the win I need, but they go further and offer Northern Lights style drinks which are made with skim milk and sugar free flavor shots. They are crafted coffee level expensive, so you wont find a cup of coffee for a dollar here. Still, worth it.

A great place for wife and myself to sit by the fireplace and enjoy our favorite coffee and a bakery item.

For a Minneapolis based company, Caribou rivals the better known Starbucks, Dunk in Doughnuts, and Dunn Brothers coffee shops.

Good coffee usually slow prepare to wait even when not busy.

I’ve lived near this Caribou for 6 years and have had nothing but bad experiences. About a year and a half ago, they would turn the lights on and off an hour before closing and ask people to leave. One time I left my phone charger here when they kicked me out 30 minutes before closing, came back 3 minutes after they “closed” and they claimed it was gone. Turns out the employee stole it and it had to be brought up with their manager. They tried to give me a camera charger instead of an iPhone charger and i didn’t get my cord back until the manager was spoken to. Service isn’t great and employees are INCREDIBLY disrespectful. I go to literally any other Caribou in the White Bear area because of my experiences. No idea what this place is like now but I will not be finding out.

I come here often and its always busy. I usually love Caribous cold-press coffee but the last few times I have been at this location, the cold press has been weak and coffee flavored at best. Their staff is great, but the quality of drink, at least cold-press, is not up to that of other locations. If you like cold-press, Id say skip this location or you may be sorely disappointed.

Ordered matcha green tea with bubbles, after drinking it they blended paper with my drink!!! Disgusting

Tasty iced coffees. The caramel cooler is my favorite treat there. They also have trivia questions everyday that you can solve while waiting in line, and if you guess right you get $ off your order.

I usually love going to this caribou because of the space. However today I had an encounter with one of the cashiers named Lorrie. She took my order faster than I could speak and was giving me many rude nonverbals while I was reaching in my purse for change. In addition she blamed me (the customer) for not telling her that I wanted my caramel high rise iced, when she should have asked me how I wanted it in the first place. I love this caribou but I hated the service she gave.

Everytime we come here, they screw up someones order. They gave us a plain hot coffee after we ordered an iced mocha. After we asked for the correct coffee again, they took twice as long, made faces, and still managed to make the wrong thing.DONT go to this Caribou!
