I went in with a color I needed. Was handed a sheet and told “pick a paint” with no explanation of products while I have no clue what I’m looking at or prices. I then asked for a recommendation for the job and she proceeded to tell me which one would work. Then told me that I would need a primer but “we don’t have any primer”. So I went to look at other color chips and wander around waiting for my paint. Another gentleman offered to help find a specific color if needed. I declined and kept wandering. Finally I look over and make eye contact with the girl that was helping me and apparently my paint was ready but she didn’t bother letting me know until I made eye contact with her doing something else while my paint sat on the counter. At checkout I asked her for sample colors and she informed me that they don’t have any sample cans because there’s a “national shortage”. So I paid for my gallon and went to Home Depot for my primer, samples and other 5 gallons of paint I needed. Was highly recommended to Sherwin Williams but I was not impressed and won’t be returning for any future products.

The manager was literally scoffing at me this morning. You hate your job fine, dont take it out on the customer. Thanks

IN COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT MANDATE what GOVERNMENT madate? Maplewood does not require masks, Minnesota does not require masks and the CDC no longer recommends for fully vaccinated person. OH, just the Sherwin Williams policy .

Clearly had no interest in assisting us. Stated goal of visit. Met with a shrug and pointed us to a color wall and advised us to go online. Guess they were not pleased about working a Saturday? Whatever the reason will not go back. Unlikely to purchase SW at all.

Were novice painters, in fact we paint maybe once every 2-3 years. Were in the middle of sellers boot camp and the painting portion is next. The entire interior of the house is getting a new coat of some kind of gray. Suggested by our realtor. The staff were patient, understanding, and extremely helpful. We will be back, in another 2-3 years or sooner if we forgot something well need to finish this project.

As always I was not disappointed, brought my old can in and asked what was the comparable product now, and sales person said this is what I needed and he could make the color I had from 20 years ago. I will definitely be back

Sherwin-Williams Maplewood has very professional customer service, the store is clean and organized and the products were cost effective. I would recommend that you go see them for your painting needs.

Great staff and PHENOMENAL paint! Ineeded to touch up a previous area and it was the last day of your 40% off sale, but was at work until nearly your closing time! I called ahead and he looked up my paint and had it ready when I arrived! Made it out with 1/2 hour until you closed! I wish I remembered the gentlemans name that helped me, he was super friendly and very helpful!
