There was no one in site to check people out I had to go looking for someone. Found someone way back In the corner. The actual checker was out smoking on company time. When he came back in he smelled of cigarettes smoke so bad I could hardly stand at the counter. Very poor service.

Meagan, I think the manager at 3451 Mt Vernon Rd, Cedar Rapids Iowa Location went out of her way to assist me finding products. Plus when I got to the check out, I hadnt realized that I had less money, about $3 shorter than I thought I had. Well I live 2 blocks away. She was ready to help me out, however another customer gave her the money to pay for my remaining balance. I was in tears the whole time bc I was so embarrassed. She was so comforting and calm. I think she deserves a kudos and recognized for her outstanding customer service and her patience and human decency. Im grateful how she treated me, Im bipolar and was depressed and very manic at the time. She was respectful and understanding, not once did she make me feel unimportant or not worth her time. She is one hell of an asset to your company. You guys are very lucky to have her.

Super packed store. Tons to choose from, but not much room to move thru aisles with the tiny cart. Older woman that works there is a little rude, otherwise the lady who helped check me out was super nice and helpful.

Store is brand new so everything of course is in great condition. My only negative about my visit was their very very small selection of things for children, shoes, clothing, and toys. There was not much of a selection to choose from. All the other Dollar Generals I have visited had a greater selection of choices. Other than this though, the store was very clean and the staff both helpful and friendly.

Its pretty much like any other Dollar General out there. General store type stuff to buy. Wish they had more healthier food options. Good prices. Adequate staff help.

Great selection and prices. A little dark a s crowded. The very friendly cashier even let us eat our ice cream while shopping in the store.

A good store for low cost items. Everything in the store costs $1! That being said, you need to be careful not to grab too much! Remember what the price is in competitors shops. Navigating the store may be difficult in wheelchair. Im not aware of a public bathroom. It may look like a little corner hole away, but its a great place to buy disposable items.

The staff is generally friendly and the store is well stocked and fairly clean. The parking lot can be kind of a pain to get out of due to lack of space at busy times but better than driving across town to another store

Even though it is relatively small, I still like it. They are clean and are useful still. Sad that they dont have as many hair products that I would like to see

Their clearance was confusing as to make people think things were on clearance that werent in hopes the customer didnt notice and move that merchandise. Could use better organizing throughout.

This place is a joke, came to buy a cell phone that was advertised as 29.99 and they couldnt override the $60 price. So I couldnt purchase the item after waiting ten minutes. Second time this has happened to me. Wont be going back to this store.
