Great service, great coffee and hot chocolate!

Very cozy place to have coffee and tea! The decor is fun and quirky, there was a classic black and white movie playing on a screen, and the prices are reasonable. The place has a nice laid back vibe as well. Theres a variety of drink options and they bring it out to you on these pretty wooden trays which I enjoyed. I got the blueberry tea with honey which was delicious! Overall a great cafe and one I plan to visit again!

Fantastic service, intriguing selection, and excellent quality! Relaxing atmosphere and Sasha was fun to talk to. We had delicious crepes and the Honey Con Panna was amazing.

Such a unique spot! Very warm, cozy atmosphere for working or meeting a friend. European-style coffee and espresso that is authentic, homemade whipped cream without added sugar, and a nice selection of crepes. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bonus: a “quiet room” with headphones provided for those times you want to focus and get work done without too much distraction! My new favorite hangout!

This coffee shop blew me out of the water!!!! This coffee shop has the most amazing energy! I had no idea what to order, and the owner was the sweetest and helped me choose the most amazing coffee ever! I had coffee ice cubes in my coffee! I love this coffee shop! I went for the first time today and I couldnt believe that I hadnt been there before. Very cozy atmosphere and very nice owners!

It took me a while to come by this place (so many coffee shops in town!) but Ive been looking for a good place to read and write. I would definitely say this coffee shop is distinct from the many others in town. There arent many people inside and the light is low and warm in an old residential building space, with hard wood and antique apostry, though there are chargers, a projector, and other technology stations. The decor is cozy and the seating is comfortable and varied. I have had only black coffee with the Serbian snack, a tasty jam and good toast, though there are many options for drinks and food. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and I take it black so Im pretty picky. The owner is friendly and she chatted with me about Serbia and lilacs. I plan to return more often!

This coffee shop is without a doubt the coolest coffee shop I have ever walked into in my entire life and I am a striving coffeeholic. The coffee is incredible and authentic while the service is unmatched. Highly recommend!

The 5 star review is well deserved for the amount of effort their staff puts into friendly service and menu selection, which boasts a myriad of delicious imported brews. The house coffee is unlike any other coffee I ever had, and with the quiet, well decorated interior makes this my go to coffee shop for all my studying and caffeine needs.

Amazing atmosphere, owners, and drinks. If you like a good cup of coffee, get the single french press, its one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had! If youre looking for something sweet and comforting, the Juliet hot chocolate is perfect. There are a lot of new cafes in Marquette right now, but this one is at the top of my list.

Hands down the best cafe in Marquette. It’s a European style coffee house with many selections and styles of coffee. The staff was very helpful my make up my mind and presented me with a beautiful cappuccino. The music is perfect. I would like to the cafe movement move away from the “hipster scene” to the European scene. Bravo!

Fabulous. Such an awesome new addition to the Marquette community! They have awesome espresso and treats. Super cozy, homey vibe. Warm colors, couches and great study space. The hours vary... only complaint.

What a full experience! You get more than coffee here. Sasa is so knowledgeable. He made us a couple Maroccinos, a coffee I had never even heard of before, which was just fantastic. Come here to get a taste of European culture and some very fine food + drink!

Absolutely charming cafe and the crepes were delicious. Not overly sweet, so they make a great breakfast. The coffee was fantastic as well. Not sure how to feel about the atmosphere inside, I really liked the decor however its pretty obviously a home converted into a cafe

One of my favorite cafes of all time! We were passing through on a bike trip and we were welcomed in to stay out of the rain. We had delicious crepes and coffee. What a cozy, special spot!

One of my favorite things to do when visiting a new place is find a good coffee shop. Cafe Allenator is the first that I have ever wished I could moved back to Indiana with me. The owner was so kind and personable, and the coffee was heavenly. On my next trip back through the UP I will for sure be dragging whoever is with me here.

Stopped in while driving through the UP back towards Colorado. Amazing coffee, delicious food, and super friendly staff. Thankful for a great place to work for a bit on our laptops before hitting the road again. My favorite stop so far!

The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is very unique and cozy. The friendly owner introduced himself and was fun to chat with. Yes the menu may look intimidating but the owner and employees will happily explain the traditional drinks to you!

Best coffee shop I have ever been in. Sasha shows so much attention to detail and puts a lot of time and care in to making the best possible drink for you. We had never been in before and he walked us through the menu and we ended up with two absolutely amazing coffees. Would definitely come back next time we are in town!

I am in love with every aspect of this unique shop. Im not a coffee drinker, and I told the owner this(who was right there making his guests orders). He replied with multiple options for me to try and I took his suggestion and loved it. I absolutely loved it. Ive come back many times. There is a magnificent amount of flavor in the drinks and attention to detail. The atmosphere suits both those needing to study and enjoy a nice afternoon with a friend.

I didnt really know what I wanted and the guy that works there recommended me something and added a couple different things and that was probably one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. This place is my favorite place in Marquette, MI. I love EUROPE and ITALY and COFFEE and this place definitely captures all that and more. The owner is extremely passionate and knows what he is doing. And the coffee is spectacular. The environment is extremely relaxing and took me back to Italy and the coffee was as if it was brewed in Rome. I go to Italy often and I just have to say well done. This place is so cozy and has the kindest owner! Its like a little European getaway tucked into Third Street. They have the most delicious European coffee to try.

Cafe Allenatore is a place you wont forget. Its probably one of the most unique coffee shops Ive ever been to. The menu can be intimidating your first time, but, the owner is amazing at explaining drinks and suggesting something youll like. Youre welcomed if not requested to sit and stay for hours so make sure you have some free time. Its definitely the European style of coffee and is meant to be enjoyed and sipped while socializing. The interior is very home like; there are TVs and movies playing every time you walk in and sometimes even music. The first few times I was afraid there was TOO much going on for my senses however, I find myself wanting to come back again and again. There is a reason they get 5 stars from people, definitely a place I recommend.

I always ask them to surprise me and they always deliver. I have yet to taste anything I dislike, and that says a lot.
