Service was super friendly, place had a very nice atmosphere, coffee was decent. Many varieties to choose from. They roast their own beans.

The pour over is amazing. Nice knowledgeable staff, chill vibe, quiet atmosphere for work or relaxing. Two floors of seating, outdoor seating, the cinnamon bun was great. Think I Saw a vegan option in their pastry case.

Great place to get some work done. They have an upstairs where no music is playing so you can get on a video call without the music coming through as background nice. Lots of space to spread out, even has its own little conference room up stairs. They also have their own parking lot which makes staying for longer periods of time really easy.I enjoyed working here, but the drinks were disappointing. Ive tried two different things so far and both ended up being my only complaints. The Raspberry scone I had was good though, especially for being vegan.

Cant go wrong strong coffee and cocktails. Great place to do a business meeting or host an event.

We visited Marquette for the weekend. Had coffee at 6 places or more. This hands down was the best we had.

I ordered americano but forgot to asked to add cream. I went back quickly, asked the barista (a young woman) to add cream. She acted like i asked her to go find some unicorn sprinkles and put in my coffee. She did make a good americano at the end, but you get the picture? My second trip to this cafe was in the morning- the same americano was horribly bitter. The guy behind the counter was pleasant. So i paid $4 just for him to be nice. Next time, i will find another cafe. Or starbucks.

I really enjoyed this place! The barista, Patrick, was super nice and helpful and made really tasty latte and cortado! (The best I’ve tried in Marquette so far). The building itself is very interesting and is a good place for chilling and using WiFi. I like that they serve beer and things as well!

Nice home feel. Can reserve a conference room which is excellent for study or brainstorming sessions. Definitely unique and worthwhile despite Marquettes numerous other coffee spots.

New favorite shop in town! Great espresso drinks, but not at the expense of dank black coffee. Love the setting and comfortable seating, too - it’s nice to be able to breathe in a coffee shop.

Okay, so heres the deal about The Crib. The coffee is honestly some of the best available in Marquette. So why did I review it so low? Because I havent been back after my first visit many months ago. Saying the Barista couldnt give one care about my existence is an understatement. She was able to make it very clear that my presence alone was already a huge inconvenience to her. But hey, great coffee.

So Awesome to have so many cool, crisp coffee shops here in Marquette and this one is quaint and contemporary. Serves and sells the Absolute best coffee.

Okay my three stars are probationary. Going to have to give them another try when they arent training and having issues with their espresso machine. They did have a nice relaxed atmosphere which seems conducive to all sorts of activities. Loved the added touch of being able to see into the roasterie.

Great place, love that I can get a Irish coffee at a café instead of going to a restaurant. I personally find the coffee a little burnt but I appreciate them all the same.

Great place for coffee. Sometimes it gets crowded here, but worth it. They have many options for those who are dairy-free, and this is where I go for all my meet ups with friends. Their espresso pulls are sometimes lacking, but their coffee is solid and the environment is great. As for barista skills, they are good at what they do (or so Ive been told by friends who like their drinks). I usually get a cortado when I come, so I cant speak for much of their menu. But I got their Yirgacheffe and have been brewing it at home and it tastes pretty good. 👍

The atmosphere, service and drinks are top-notch, and their excellence belongs in that order. If they served crepes and quiche Id never go to Contrast Coffee Co. again!

From the perspective of a student.Really cute environment and atmosphere. They have long hours, which is awesome for studying, however they recently implemented a one drink minimum policy, which really bummed me out and left me with a unsavory taste in my mouth.Pros - punch cards (every 9th drink free), wifi, free drip refills, varied sitting options including tables, armchairs and couches, and a conference room that can be reserved. Coffee is good. Friendly staff.Cons (other than stated above) - occasionally can get very crowded so sitting becomes limited, can be loud, the floors are disgusting! Its gotten to points where I bring wipes from home and wipe down the area Im studying in... Also, a bit overpriced imo.Other - is dog friendly - can be a pro or con depending on how you look at it, just a heads up for anyone with allergies.If not for the new minimum drink policy, would get 4.5 stars from me.
