Purchased a mower from Broadway last week. I researched other brands prior to coming, and tested an Exmark but after seeing the deeper deck, better transmission, and sturdier construction I had to buy a Skag.Broadway is a high volume parts/sales store so I initially wasn’t seen walking the showroom floor but they sure made up for it. Bought a Zero Turn around lunch time & they had it delivered same day. Price was comparable to anything else you would find online. Walked through instructions and had me mowing. They gave some free advice/tips while at the store.After the first mow, I noticed a small leak in the fuel tank from the manufacturer. They explained the mowers come nearly fully assembled when they arrive so some things will be missed. The same team that delivered my mower picked it up after I called free of charge & had it back again the next day. Robert, the owner, came along for the delivery. Meant a lot & I really appreciate it! You can trust this team for your outdoor needs.

Would not recommend this place. I was in the market for a string trimmer. The staff seemed uninterested in answering any questions for me. After walking around trying to figure things out for myself I ended up going to Commercial Cutting and was treated great! Love my new RedMax and based on reviews it was a good choice!

The owner sold me on their service if I bought a mower from them.he told me that the people that bought mowers from them there was no wait and most of the time you got your mower serviced while it was still on the trailer.THIS IS NOT TRUE!.I took my mower back for the 10 hour service and that was not true.The man that was working there did not even know how to take my mower off the trailer.I brought the mower back home and it had a metal vibration that it didn’t have before I took in for service.I went here today 9-20-21 on a rainy day and they told me I would have to leave it after I told them this was a 100mile round trip for me.I asked them if they would just listen to it and I’m sure it would be a simple fix if there were competent and they still told me that they had no time and I would have to leave it .It’s really bad to take a mower with 10 hours on it and it comes back with more problems than it had before you took it to the dealer.to beat all they were very arrogant.like they were better than you .

They got my mower running in a short amount of time. Excellent mechanic downstairs. Almost impossible to reach them by phone but they called me when it was finished

Took my mower in for a repair excepting the worse. Turned out to be a minor fix. The staff not only fixed my mower but also did some extra clean up making it look awesome. They will definitely be getting my repair business from now on.

Broadway Outdoor Power is one of the best companies Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Ive worked with numerous lawn equipment companies in the Knoxville and Maryville area. NONE of them can come close to comparing to Broadway!! The prices are excellent but their Customer Service is what will keep me coming back for all my needs for the foreseeable Future! Got my mower in and out in two days. Runs great.

We took our STHIL edger to be repaired. It needed a new pull string and probably needed to clean the carburetor because it was working just fine it just wouldnt start. They said it would be a $25 tear down fee thats it and we were okay with that if it couldnt be fixed. So I called today to see if it was looked at yet and they said it is ready for pick up. I said no one called to let me know it was even ready to be picked up. So I asked okay what is wrong with it? She said it needed a new carburetor, and a new spark plug, and it would be $117 for the repair. So I was so blown away because I could have bought a newer one for that price! They dont tell you that there is a $42 fee for labor for 30 min of work. I thought that was what the $25 tear down was for. I would never take anything to them again for repairs. That was our first and last time. Very sneaky people. All sorts of hidden fees. A labor fee, a parts fee that doesnt include your actual cost of the part, tax and they dont tell you about any of this until the work is all done. Shady people I definitely dont recommend this place. Id give no starts if I could. Very disappointed. Whatever happened to just clean the carburetor. Is it too much work that you have to put a new one on! People beware!

Took my very small mower in for repair. Little mower value not much.Hour rate not adjusted for little guy.Charging me like I have a $15 k or $20k mower.Needs to adjust fee on small jobs.Need to tell customers if you dont want little mower business.Other than that !Very nice and friendly place.

Do not buy STHL chainsaws from here. I bought a MS 170 and had to take it back after the first use. Ill give them credit they fixed it for free but they had the chainsaw longer than I did as the buyer. Once I got it back I tried using it again and the same issues. The saw wouldnt start or maintain any power. This time they actually upgraded me to a MS180 which was great of them, due to being out of 170s cause it obviously had major issues. I said it was junk and they got offended. It obviously was junk or I wouldnt have gotten a new and upgraded saw. The worker showed me to barely pull the rope on the new MS180 to start it so thats how I did it. The second use tge rope broke and they said it wasnt under warranty so it cost $31.08 to put on a rope that was $1.95. Like i said on the second use. This saw actually cuts great ill give them that. But as you can see this are very cheaply made saws. Dont buy STHL and especially from this place. Seems like theyre just trying to take people for everything they can. All i heard about when going to purchase a chainsaw was STHL. Never again in my lifetime. I will never recommend any STHL product to anyone. My cheap walmart chainsaw I had prior lasted way longer and performed better.

I went in this store on Monday 8/20/18 looking for a repair shop that I could trust and had a good turn around time after talking with Robert and his staff from the time I dropped my mower off till the time I picked it up was nothing but friendly and courteous had my mower on Tuesday afternoon wow!! I see all the negative reviews and wonder if these people were at the same store as me they had all the parts to fix my mower and were competitively prices with online stores with minimal markup still cheaper than I could get online after shipping!! Great staff and excellent selection will definitely be back!

The people that work here are very rude and shady when it comes to selling you a mower. I wanted to finance a Scag through my credit union. I asked for a invoice and was told they would only give one to my credit union and not directly to me. After going through some trials I was finally able to get one which had a higher price than what I was verbally told. I then asked if the cash price would be different as I had that option available to me. I was then told that cash price would be lower. When given the prices fit now a third time they were not, in fact some were higher than previously told. If you want to be mistreated and lied to this is the place to buy a mower.Update: As you can see below no apology, just excuses. While the response is lengthy they did none of the explaining they claim below. Once again highly disappointed.

Very rarely do you find a business with the service like broadway power. I have never had a complaint with any of there work on anything. I have had them work on 30 chain saws or so. They alwayse have stood behind thier work. They have ordered me products they dont normaly carry to save me time and hassle in hunting them down myself. Top notch people and business. Thank you for alwayse going above and beyond!!

We bought a Scag turf tiger 2 here last year. Best purchase we ever made. We have only had one problem with it, and the owner fixed it on my trailer and got us back in the field. Great bunch of guys, no nonsense straight shooters, the way it ought to be! Just bought a new ferris wall behind too.

Last summer I was in the market for a used/cheaper riding lawn mower as well as a new weed eater. I visited the store and as soon as the salesman learned that I wasnt going to buy one of their lawn mowers, he literally turned his back to me and walked away while saying something like thanks for stopping in.I reminded him that I had a second question (about the weed eater) and he had something snarky to say.So, I left and got my weed eater elsewhere.When I upgrade the used mower that i ended up finding, i wont be going back here. Its a shame when you try to support a local business and they treat you like you arent worth their time.

Very professional and timely. I live an hour away and they came to pick up my mower since I had no way to haul it. Great customer service and great products. I always see the staff going out of their way to help customers. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

This is a great shop with a huge selection of Scag and Bad Boy professional and consumer grade mowers. They also carry about every Stihl product made and have a broad selection of trimmers, blowers, chain saws, etc.They gave me a great deal on a Scag Turf Tiger and delivered it to my house the same day.Update: it’s been 3 years since I purchased my mower and I’ve returned many times for additional purchases. Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable, and they take great care of their customers. They only carry high quality products from mowers to trimmer string and gas cans. Always clean and organized.

I have bought several different Stihl items and a Scag mower from Broadway. I can tell you I have NEVER been more pleased with the service I get from here. Kaleb, Robert, and everyone else there has always treated me first class. They have even fixed my mower while it was on my trailer. At least you dont get the it will be two weeks before we can look at it answer...

Went to this shop when I needed to replace my 15 year old Scag. They gave me good advice on which mower would be best but did not try to sell me more mower than I needed.This shop and the mower that I bought have given me excellent service.

This is the worst scag dealer around. You wont find more unprofessional, disrespectful employees than the people that work here. Even the owners have a reputation of being rude and wont hesitate telling you to go screw yourself if you complain about employees attitudes towards their customers. One employee told me I was LYING when I told him the mechanic personally guaranteed me my mower would be ready on Wednesday. I would give zero stars if I could. I dont know how they are still in business after treating their customers with such disrespect and disdain. Every review for this business is the same. They treat everyone like they couldnt care less if customers ever come back. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life by anyone much less by employees and owners of a small business whose salaries are based on repeat business. Do yourself a favor and take your scag to mayo garden center in Knoxville. Even if you have to drive an hour each way to get there like I do it is worth it since they treat their customers like actual human beings instead of trash like Broadway Outdoor Power Equipment.

I bought an MS311 chainsaw brand new but it kept overheating. Robert and his team at Broadway reached out to Stihl directly on my behalf and was able to get the chainsaw replaced under warranty. Its hard to find ANYBODY who will take care of their customers after the sale. I will be dealing directly with Robert for my future equipment purchases and maintenance. Five stars and more!!

They treated me very fairly and efficiently-good people in my book.

They came and picked up my mower which was purchased from another dealer. The dealer where I purchased advised me that the engine was blown. Broadway Outdoor Power not only looked at the mower they repaired it within a day. The engine wasnt blown but had a bad pulley. they saved me $2000 since I didnt have to buy a new engine more if I had to buy a new mower. Great customer service and will continue to do business with them.

Rob Sutera and his staff go beyond the call of duty. Rob came to the house and showed me how to mow a slope without putting myself in danger. He and his staff have come to pick up the mower, serviced it, and brought it back to my home when I didnt have the time or ability to do so myself. Now that I am moving and will no longer need such a large mower, they have put the mower on Craigs list for me to assist me in selling. Now that is what I call service! I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Just picked up my SCAG from non-warranty service. Shop rate was fair and repair was timely but my PTO clutch was marked up 10% over SCAG retail. Still Im lucky though as they sometimes mark up parts higher than that. They killed a friend of mine for an EFI module on the very same day I picked mine up. Do your research. Broadway Outdoor Power wont get the opportunity to get anymore of my money! Shops get their stuff at dealer cost. MSRP markup is plenty; anything over is greed.

I read the negative reviews and honestly wonder if the people who left those reviews were at the same Broadway Outdoor Power that I’m reviewing??? I’ve dealt with several lawn equipment dealers in Knox, Loudon and Blount counties and I’ve never been treated any better or more fairly than I have at Broadway Outdoor. So much so, I no longer shop around. I take all my equipment to these guys for service and repair and I purchase from them solely. No one has ever worked harder to earn and keep my business than the Sutera’s and their staff.

I would not buy anything from this business. A good friend bought a new sthil chainsaw and first time he tried to remove the bar both nuts where seized to the point that it screwed both studs out of the plastic housing, he then took the saw back and they accused him of crossthreading the nut which he had never been able to remove and that they would not fix it his best bet would be to buy another new saw .I suggested he take it to a reputable dealer,he did and this dealer informed him that the bar was installed with the incorrect nut, which was done by Broadway outdoor power equipment, the other dealer he took it took give him some oversized studs and correct nuts and also informed him that that wasnt the first time they had to correct this business mistakes.if you need sthil equipment or parts save yourself allot of trouble and just go to co-op.

Ron Keylon here. I like these people and their products. The Stihl weedeater they sold me works way better than the Craftsmans I had been buying elsewhere. After using the Stihl weedeater, i came to the conclusion that the Craftsmans were more torture device than weed eater compared to the Stihl. Happy with the quality of service and the attitudes of the workers. I can tell you this after reading some of these reviews: If they were smiling at me every time i saw them, I would be suspicious of them same as a con man.. They work to be genuine and friendly. Sometimes they are tired and it shows, but that doesnt bother me. What would bother me is if they were always upbeat and smiling from ear to ear, I would suspect they were con men. They are not. They are genuine people working hard on my behalf. I appreciate that.

If you plan on taking your lawmower to get it serviced dont. Their police is to fix all the mowers from people who purchased from them, so if you didnt buy it from them it sits. I took mine they had it for a week, went to pick it up and there was one person hanging around. took it somewhere else had it fixed for a buck in 10 mins.

This place is a joke. Repair shop is horrible. Basically unless u know the people personally, dont take your equipment there. Took trimmer to get gas leak fixed. Was told 1 day. A week later I pick it up and it still leaks gas. And they were not willing to repair it correctly for free after I paid the 1st bill. Go to Blount lawn and garden, commercial cutters, or Co-op.
