A few months ago I decided to purchase new flooring for my entire townhome. I went with vinyl planking and carpet throughout my home. Once it was installed I hated the carpet, it was everything I disliked, it showed every footprint and lines when I vacuumed it was terrible. I called Kevin immediately telling how much I disliked the carpet and was having to vacuum 2 or 3 times a day. Kevin was nice enough to come and look to see if it was faulty carpet, but there was no issue with the quality. Seeing how stressed and unhappy I was Kevin got me in touch with the sales rep. After a few weeks they decided to replace my carpet at no additional cost to me other than the installation fee. I’m so happy with my new carpet and truly grateful to Kevin and the sales rep. Thank you so much for your help, understanding and commitment to your customers.

Kevin was awesome to work with! He really jumped through hoops to get the right carpet from the warehouse and also worked with us on a complicated financial transaction. Their installers were professional and thorough. You won’t go wrong with the Matthews store because of the professionalism of the people. And Kevin is so friendly!

Normally I dont give 5 stars but, I have no reason to give these guys anything less. Fair price, on time, quality work. We had a very difficult office renovation staged into 3 stages so we could paint and move people around between stages. They were able to come in at the right time and completed each stage ahead of time. This got us complete a week ahead of schedule. Kevin set it up and Juan (the installer) knocked it out. Thanks Kevin and Juan!

Kevin was super nice and very knowledgeable. He gave us a straight forward suggestion and even went out of his way to find us a deal on carpeting. We were very impressed with the workers. They worked quickly and had it down to a science!! The were courteous and friendly. They communicated with me about all questions they had and even worked with the handyman to ensure the job was done professionally. It only took two days to get the job done after we finished paying. That was a real plus!! All in all, we recommend them highly.

After visiting several carpet discount stores I visited the Matthewscarpet and rug store. I found Kevin Culler to be more than helpful in making my flooring decisions. I also found the installation to be the best I have experienced. The installers came with four installers and left after cleaning up every piece of excess carpet left. He was knowledgeable and helpful in every way, from helping me pick the tile to answering questions I had during installation, even though I used a private installer that was not affiliated with Carpet and Rug Superstore. I spent a lot of time looking at tile at different stores in the Charlotte area, from the big box retailers to smaller independent stores, and was far and away the most impressed with the level of customer service I received from Kevin. Want defective carpet and incompetent installers? Do you want to be unable to get the products they display or advertise? Then this is the place for you. I bought their recommended carpet that turned out to be defective. My only choices were to chance the same product or upgrade. This is when I found out they could not get most of the other name brand products they advertise. I could not get several of the Mohawk and Shaw product. After a $700 dollar upgrade, they did not show up several times, then delivered the wrong color. After six months I decided to take my losses and now I have 50 yards of carpet in my garage I need to get installed. Their installers messed up my baseboards, and did a lousy job overall. Skyway would have been cheaper, faster and correct.

My vinyl wood flooring started to bulge after about a year, just after the installation warranty expired. The sales guy said the flooring was installed too tightly but it was up to us to fix it ourselves because the warranty was up. 3 years after purchase, the flooring is horribly disfigured. I dont recommend doing business here. Poor workmanship followed by no service despite an admission that they installed it wrong.
