We closed on a house early August, and had someone from a large national carpet brand come out a week later to quote & schedule new carpet installation in 2 rooms and the stairwell. After waiting 4 1/2 weeks (and getting confirmation calls & emails) the installers we a no-call/no-show. After 2 days of trying to get ahold of someone for a refund, I called FCI. They sent someone out the next business day, who also informed us of using Kilz on the subfloor from the previous owners pet smells--which the other companys representative never mentioned. We got on the schedule for install the next week, but had to reschedule due to the carpet not being delivered yet. When they did come, the 2 installers were done in about 2 hours, and did a wonderful job! I anticipated a lot of dust clean up (since were pretty sure the carpet was original to the house), but they vacuumed when they were done, and even left the leftover scraps for any future repairs. We will definitely be using them again for any flooring needs in the future!

Good day people of Charlotte. I had Floor Coverings International SE Charlotte replace my foyer, breakfast area, kitchen, living room and a small area. I was expecting the 2-man team to take 2 days to do the job. To my surprise and amazement, it was done in one day. The crew was neat, clean, professional and very courteous.They were constantly cleaning as they went. They had to pull old linoleum, old vinyl planks and a small carpeted area.From my introduction to a sales representative at a home show in Charlotte, to the sales person that came out to the house (Ashlyn) and her supervisor (Eric), I was totally pleased with the whole process. One more thing. Eric came out twice during the installation to ensure the project was being done complete and efficiently!I called the office the next morning about a question on the floor. Within the hour, Eric called to come out and see what I was talking about. I had an excellent experience with International Floor Coverings from start to finish. We used them to tear up our old carpet and refinish the wood floors beneath three bedrooms. They are a very professional company, with staff and workers to match. They will walk you through every part of the process and are happy to answer any questions you have along the way. We received three bids and theirs was best balanced for price and service. They accommodated our schedule and went over and beyond to keep the project on schedule. They took pictures along the way which they shared. And at the end, we were amazed and very pleased with the results. It was hard to believe that wood floors which had not seen the light of day for decades could look as beautiful as they turned out. We would recommend this company and would trust them to do further work in one of the several others services they provide.

Renovations are stressfull, if you are looking to renovate then International Floor Covering are the people you want! We originally was just getting flooring but later decided to get carpeting also. From the first meeting, Donnie was very professional. He listened to what we wanted. He explained what would happen. We were never pressured about anything. Donnie gave us his cell to call if we had any concerns. He was with us every step of the way. Patrick is awesome. He came and measured and explained everything he was doing and told us the next step would meet with the project manager, Marcus. Marcus was wonderful also, he was very patient and explained many times how the crew was going to do the work so we could be prepared. The crew was hard workers. They started and completed the work on time. Donnie helped us with color and texture coordination and it is just beautiful. We recommend this company!

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International! They had a rep out that handled showing us samples and pricing, and answered any questions via email or text super quickly. The installation was smooth and fast for the large size of the project. They were even able to move the schedule around last minute to accommodate other contractors we had working in the house. The installation team had a great site supervisor who was the point man for the project and very responsive. The carpet looks great and there was no damage or debris left behind. Extremely happy!

Even though the cost to purchase and install my carpeting was pretty pricey, I do have to say that you get what you pay for. The carpet feels amazing. When I built my home, I decided to just go with some basic carpeting...clearly I didn’t know better at the time. I truly believed that all carpet was created equal. They say you can get 2/3 things for labor: fast, cheap, and good. I needed fast and good because I wanted flooring done prior to moving into my new house. They were maybe a tad bit higher priced than other places, but they had it ordered and installed in plenty of time before I moved into my new home. But their prices were still competitive. They did not use high pressured sales tactics which I also appreciated. I absolutely love my new flooring and they made it a low stress and positive experience. My friends had flooring done through another company and they had all kinds of problems they dealt with during and after. I had a great experience and Im so glad I went through this company.

Great experience. We had several rooms in our home done 4 years ago and wanted to do the bedrooms as well. The salesperson was able to find a product that was very similar to what we had originally installed. The installers were excellent. They moved the larger pieces of furniture, removed the old carpet, padding and tack strips. Cleaner the floor then installed the new engineered hardwood flooring. They added quarter round molding in each of the rooms and even matched the molding to our Murphy bed. We highly recommend Floor Coverings International Southeast Charlotte.

This is the second time that my mother has used Floor Covering International. The first time she used them everything went perfect. Did a great job from beginning to the end would recommend friends

We had them do a runner up the stairs and it turned out great. The installer was very experienced and was able to fix a few issues on-site and make every thing look great.

We had Floor Coverings International do our LVP flooring back in June 2020. It is April 2021 and they’ve come out twice to already repair buckling and holes in the flooring. Now, the entire vinyl is lifting from poor installation and its been nearly 2 months of going back and forth with the project manager. The floors are supposedly under warranty, but good luck getting a timely response.

Great company with staff to match. They did my entire 1st floor hardwood replacement to perfection at a reasonable price and an installation crew that were true craftsmen.All of this was completed in two days and they even moved the furniture as they did the work and replaced it upon completion. This is the company you want to use for your flooring needs.

Overall our floors look good now.However, I feel like we were mislead by the company’s sales pitch and other positive reviews online. We overpaid for the services we received. We knew prices were higher than competitors and as such expected more professionalism.Work crews were late and came to the job unprepared so had to reschedule. They took 2 weeks to complete what should have been a short job.Granted they were able to replace subfloor on short notice but attempted to take advantage of us by trying to charge $1600 for half day labor for 1 person.Left trash in our yard until we complained for them to remove.Little supervision from one step to the next.Sure our floors look great but I would not recommend them, it was not worth the trouble or the price.

I am done with big box stores. So delighted with the quality and level of service provided. I think what used to take several days to sort out the details of a carpet install from big box, took me about 45 minutes with Floor Coverings International. Selection was large, design input was great, logistics about the install date was quick and reliable, and the installer was awesome. Already know they will be hired for my loft project when I am ready for next carpet install. Plus, I love supporting small business owners in the area. Nice job, everyone!

The product stain proof carpet is amazing!!! Already had an episode with our dog and the pee just staid on top!!! Easy cleanup! Even better than that was the installers! They worked extremely hard and long and did a great job. They also were nice! Of course Barbara was so helpful too in showing us what we needed and would go well with our home. We are completely satisfied customers!!!!
