Tom Taube and his crew of highly skilled workmen at Kitchen Tune-Up in Charlotte, created a fantastic new master bathroom in our home. They worked with us to keep the project within a budget we could handle and never talked down to us or made us feel like we should spend more. Tom and the crew listened to our questions, made adjustments as we went along and produced a spa-like bathroom that my wife loves. Would highly recommend this team!

We reached out to Kitchen Tune-Up (KTU) solely because of the reviews. As my wife and I were looking to do some renovations in our kitchen, KTU seemed liked the logical company to reach out to first.Our point of contact was a young sales woman by the name of Demi. The first warning was that she attempted to price our work via us texting an image of our cabinets; which is blatant way of avoiding a scheduled appointment. Though the price that she gave us seemed ludicrous for a simple cabinet painting, we went ahead and continued with the scheduled appointment the next day.While she was on site, she conducted herself quite professionally. Post appointment, we were to get a mock up of the design and a more accurate quote, as we added a lot more to the renovation than painting the cabinets.It was a solid 6 days before we decided that we should reach back out to Demi, as we had not heard a word from KTU. Without so much as an apology for no contact, later that day she emails us a very generic project proposal, with only the grand total of $35,000 and no breakdown of the line items. This is not the kind of work that would take you a full day to complete, much less a week.While the aforementioned part is bad enough on its own, I messaged her that same evening that she turned in the quote, asking for a more detailed breakdown, and for the design that we were promised. Zero replies.I work in sales, and the thought of ghosting a customer that is potentially up for a $35,000 sale is absurd.10/10, would not recommend due to our experience.

I recently hired Kitchen-Tune Up for my kitchen and bathroom remodeling project. The process was well organized. Coordination with their subcontractors was a seamless process. Their team did an excellent job! They were professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced and Kitchen Tune Up did a wonderful job. I appreciate the fact that they didnt rush our job. My kitchen looks like a brand new kitchen for a fraction of the cost. I smile every time I go in my kitchen.

Submitted questions via email about the estimate that was significantly higher than two other contractors, Tom never responded or reached out to us.Maybe this will help you out, you came to our home twice for a complete remodel, new kitchen, master bath, two other bathrooms and a new fireplace. My wife tried to get some questions answered about mistakes in your proposal and the pricing and you still have not responded.We have a contractor doing the project now so it probably worked out for the best. They were really late to the appointment, and they gave me a quote to re-face my cabinets. I already had a quote from a company for solid doors with a factory applied finish who said they would sand down my cabinet boxes to the Bear wood and recoat them. When she said they used fiberboard doors and that they would not sand down my cabinet boxes except in areas that were not smooth, I expected the price to be cheaper than I was quoted from the other company. To my surprise it was literally double. Yes thats right their price was double the price I was quoted from another cabinet refacing company that specializes in it. I would call around and get alternative quotes before you do any business with these people.

We used Kitchen Tune-Up to perform a complete remodel of kitchen in Huntersville, NC. We got the kitchen of our dreams!!! They designed and installed a high end gourmet kitchen that looks fantastic and is extremely functional. Great quality cabinetry. They brought out excellent suppliers and installers for cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, electrical and plumbing. We would recommend them and will use them again for future bathroom remodeling.

I contacted Tom with a need for some new cabinet doors in a fairly short period. He was very thorough in his analysis & recommendation. The job took a little longer than i wanted but it was a very short need. I was very happy with the finished product as well as impressed with the installation quality by Danny. It looked so good that we had them come door the kitchen in my home. Installing new cabinets was just more than I wanted to spent. We had a new shower installed with the new updated stone look and the same stone around the garden tub. We could not be more pleased with the work. Our knotty pine cabinets were custom built but, after 30 years and 2 kids, they looked pretty RoUgH. Kitchen Tune-Up worked a miracle in one day and made them look brand new. We are very, very pleased with the results, our cabinets gleam!

I used KTU three times over a series of about 3 or 4 years. All three times, KTU followed through on all components of the agreed upon contract and resolved unexpected issues nicely. If I had another bath/kitchen remodel I would definitely consider using Tom.
