Imagine my surprise to see a good friend in your Matthews NC store. Brian Valentine blew me away with his knowledge about mattresses. He remained extremely pleasant and patient while I tested two thirds of them on the floor (with the exception of the beds-in-box on display). A computer glitch caused the incorrect data resulting in the delivery of the wrong mattress. NO PROBLEM It was immediately taken care of. Anyone looking for a cloud nine sleep experience needs to see Brian. He has the experience to help you watch the sheep jumping the fence while you slumber on.

Anita was filling in today at the store and was very helpful. She took her time with us and had a lot of patience as we tried different beds. When asked any questions she gave us all the information she could and was willing to contact help if need be. Great Experience

My Wife and I needed a new Mattress. We had no intention of buying one the day we did. We walked into the store at 5:45 on a Sunday afternoon. Charlie was there by him self. We intended on taking a peek and then maybe coming back. Charlie was awesome. He took time and was friendly not pushy. He then walked us through what we were looking for and what we thought we liked then he put us on the machine to tell him what we should buy. He worked with us well past closing and we did buy a mattress from him and also two pillows. He is a true asset and should get all the accolades that he is due. If you want a mattress please go see Charles.

I purchased a mattress at beginning of February. The mattress is defected, the springs are showing thru bottom layer - box springs and pillow top is already lose. I got no help when I called the manager - Brian, he only referred me to customer service center, no apology..no concern. He refused to update my correct phone number in their local system. I have yet to here back from the Matthews store even after the CS center emailed them to replace the mattress. I have emailed the Natthews store twice with my correct phone number and still no contact from them. Will never purchase anything from this business again. Buyer beware .

We bought our mattress and box spring a year ago and it is still perfect. We researched for a while to find the best for the least. The salesman was extremely helpful in guiding us to the right mattress. Prices were fair, the whole buying process was fast. Delivery was quick, setup fast and they took away our old mattress and box spring. After a year, this mattress and boxspring are in perfect condition and it has improved our sleep. We have recommended this place to everyone.

My husband has neck and back problems. we needed a new bed but were overwhelmed as to where to start. We went into Mattress Warehouse and were met by Akisch. He was very friendly and took time to explain their process and the method they use to assess the mattresses that would fit us best. As we tried the recommendations, he asked probing questions to help us eliminate those that were not perfect.we also wanted an adjustable base. Once we picked the mattress we wanted he moved it to an adjustable base so my husband could get the feel of the mattress on that base.The best part is that although he spent over an hour and a half with us, there was NO pressure from him to buy. He even offered to give us a few minutes so we could talk amongst our selves. Applying for the financing was a breeze and (for a change) I left feeling good about the purchase.It was just delivered today. The delivery men were polite and respectful of our property. Everything was set up and they showed my husband how to work the bed. Overall, I was extremely pleased with this experience and would recommend Mattress Warehouse of Matthews to anyone looking for a new bed.

I came in this store overwhelmed as we just moved from Oregon to North Carolina. I told Charles what I was looking for and my budget and he quickly helped me find new mattresses for my family. I was able to get everything needed to our house same day with a lot less frustration than I was expecting. I walked away feeling like I got a good deal and I slept like a baby the first night on my new mattress. I would definitely come here again or recommend this store to friends/family.

My mother is a big fan of Mattress Warehouse, and now I am, too. Benny and Jeremiah were both extremely knowledgeable, and I felt no pressure at all to hurry my visit or make a purchase (unlike other mattress stores). I visited three times: first, to take the proprietary mattress match test and try the recommended mattresses; second, to retake the mattress match test (for validity, which it had) and lie on my #1 choice for 30 minutes; and third, to purchase the mattress. Never was I made to feel like an inconvenience, and I enjoyed chatting with the guys. Delivery was a hassle-free dream, and Ive been sleeping very well since purchasing. I recommend this place without reservation, and I will return when I need my next mattress.

While doing research online, I visited this store location twice before purchasing a Kingsdown mattress. The two gentlemen who worked at the store were very knowledgeable on the various mattresses in the store. They were both able to answer all my questions and concerns.

I went in on July 1st 2019 and the salesperson who was there (Todd) was drinking alcohol and was stumbling arround. This is not okay for a business to have is their employees drinking and working. It worries me that he drove home drunk. I did go in later in the week and met Ryan (The store manager as he told me) he is the only reason i gave this 2 stars. He was helpful and kind. I may have not bought because of the incident but anyone reading this. Please go see and ask for Ryan he will help you. Also if the company sees this please keep Ryan where he is. But Todd needs to go.

Benny Angells customer service was absolutely amazing. He never once pressured us into buying a mattress, he even told us he was there not to sell anything but to make sure we were getting a better nights sleep. If he did end up selling us a mattress it would be one that would match us perfectly. Benny even knes exactly what pillow my boyfriend needed based off of just looking at him when he walked in the door.The bed match technology that they have takes all of the stress out of buying a mattress and narrows a whole showroom of mattresses down to a handful based on what your needs are and not just what happens to feel comfortable at the time. Dont think I will ever shop anywhere else for a mattress ever again.
