I had front fender damage, along with a deep scratch down the driver side doors. We both agreed that a new fender should be installed on my truck. I received a voice message from them stating that they now wanted to leave the front fender on the vehicle and they would definitely confirm this with me BEFORE proceeding. I called them the next morning but could not get the same person on the phone. I called the next two days, still not able to get the same service person but I left a message that I wanted the new fender installed instead of having a new truck with a fender stuffed with body filler. The next day, I received a message that the truck was ready for inspection . The first thing I discovered, when looking under the hood, was a few pine needles on top of the inner fender well . Then I could see the bare weld spots present where the dent pulling process had burned through the paint on the inside of the fender. I knew immediately that the fender was patched up. The manager thought it has been replaced and tried to tell me that they had told me they were leaving the fender, I still have the message they left me on my phone stating that they would confirm with me their changes. It never happened and I now have a truck all filled with body filler. Exactly what I wanted to avoid and I thought I could trust them to do the right thing. It would be great if they would replace the fender so I could tell everyone that they made everything correct with this big lack of communication on their side . What a disappointment for me, a car guy, that was referred to them by several people ! I thought about leaving the truck and insisting on the new fender but I had already lost my confidence in their shop since they originally told me that matching the paint would be no problem . Then the shop manager told me that they left the fender on because they were concerned with matching the paint!!For people that dont know about cars, they would have been charged for a new fender that they didnt get installed, along with other bogus charges that are still present on my bill !
Very professional they call and let you know how the work is going and whats going on this is how a business supposed to operate I hope everything works out well for them cuz so far theyre doing a great job handling my truck

Want your car worse off than you brought it to the mechanic? If so I would definitely use this place. Piece of debris fell off a car and struck my wifes vehicle. Insurance company recommended this place so we used them and somehow this went from all cosmetic damage to the the power steering being messed up and a mystery puncture in the tire. Stay far far away from this place, they will lie and make nonsensical statements to avoid being accountable for their actions. Garbage company.
Like a lot of aftermarket CF hoods mine had a fitment issue. On the passenger side, midway along the fender the hood was about a ¼ to 3/8 of an inch higher than the fender. I tried to live with it for several years but finally it bugged me too much. Beau and his team at Collision One did an outstanding job of getting me fixed up. Beau had done other projects for me in the past so I knew they did great work and were professional. I thought the fitment issue would require big mods to fix but Josh, one of Beau’s outstanding staff came up with a fantastic solution. They ended up making a piece that bolts under the fending that recontoured the fender to match the hood (thank heaven for Corvette fiberglass flexibility). The added bonus was no permanent mods. If I ever need to revert back to my stock hood I just remove the contour spacer, how ingenious. A big thank you to Beau, Josh and all of the team at Collision One!
Possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. No communication from the shop as delays pile up. My vehicle is currently at 3 weeks in their shop. They have “80-100 vehicles at all times yours isn’t the only car we are working on”. Clearly they are too busy to care about an individual customer, after all once they have your parts deposit what are you going to do? Eat that loss and go elsewhere? I don’t know who to use in the Richmond area but I can sure tell you who to avoid...
Chad was great to work with at Collison-one. I explained to him the time constraints on needing my vehicle and chad went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The quality of work was above average and my vehicle looks better than it did before the damage occurred. I will bring all my vehicles here first moving forward. (hoping I never have to though) hahaha

I had a minor fender bender. After doing a search on the company suggested by the other persons insurance company, l wasnt impressed from the reviews. After doing some research l decided on Collision One.After several delays with the insurance company, everything was completed. Our car was towed here in order for them to perform a FREE estimate on repairs. They did so in a timely fashion and then allowed us to keep our car on their lot until we decided on a course of action (it was totaled), minus any fees or hassling us about getting it out of there. Crystal is the best! After getting completely ripped off by the towing company (looking at you, Coastal Towing & Recovery) it was such a relief to deal with Collision One. Thanks Crystal!

The most important thing to me is communication! It took them a month to fix my car because of how wrecked it was in the front and having to wait on parts, but they kept me in the loop by calling me and my wife 2 or 3 times a week. It’s been 1 month that collision one has had my truck for front end damage. Every time I call they explain that they need the insurance company to approve another part. Whoever’s responsible for examining the cars SUCK. It doesn’t take 3 weeks to realize you need a specific bumper cover for a car and then request an adjustment from the insurance company. That should have been obvious when they first examined the vehicle. I haven’t seen their work because after a full month my truck is no where near finished. Horrible.
Took 2 months to get everything right (7 weeks of that being for insurance wanting to go aftermarket) Beau made sure EVERY complaint I had got fixed correctly. Thanks to the amazing staff for dealing with my difficulties.

After them them having my car for a month and a half when I picked the car up it had black over spray on the new white bumper .blue liquid was running down my headlights when I asked what it was the supervisor replied he wasnt sure because the antifreeze and washer fluid was the same color. When I entered the car it was white dust everywhere and when they got my car it was flawless inside.my washer fluid warning light was on and when I went to spray the windshield to remove the white powder dust it was empty .When I dropped my car off it completely full of rain x washer fluid. After having my car for a week and a half it started leaking antifreeze and one of the things they replaced was the radiator. Lets not forget the blue fluid I was asking about was antifreeze leaking all along .I then called the owner and he had my car towed back in. He then told me that it was their fault that it was leaking out of the petcock at the bottom of the radiator. I received a call the next week from my insurance company stating that Collision One was charging them for fixing the leak. Which made no sense at all when they were the ones that created the league when they installed a new radiator. After having my car for another week the radiator its leaking again. But let me remind you that this is supposed to be a a brand new radiator from BMW. They never replace the radiator its the same radiator that was in the car or either a junkyard radiator the radiator has different colors all over it with dirt and Grime on it. Now the owner is saying that he believes that is something else leaking this time and wants me or the insurance company to give him more money to fix my car. I forgot to mention that all of the boats leaving from the radiator its stripped out. My car was flawless and no strip boats or anyting because it was always taken to the dealer. It makes me not even want a car anymore they have screwed up so many nuts and bolts on my car that if I ever had to get anything replaced again it would have to be cut off and that wont be cheap were talking about a newer BMW.i honestly tell you this is one of the worst experience Ive ever had in my life and the owner is not an honest person. His employees are very rude and especially the lady thats just at the front counter . Theres two ladies that sit there but its the one without the glasses. From day one her attitude was unacceptable. She should not be working with the public. Think twice before taking your car here.

This place is the sorriest excuse of a so called body shop I have ever seen. I had to take my car back literally 5 times & it still is not fixed properly. My car which was brand new when it was rear ended had & still has severe damage. They claimed to have made repairs they did not do. My trunk is not installed correctly, the right side of the trunk sits higher than the fender, the left side is still lower than the fender. The gap between the right side of my trunk lid is half the gap space to the fender of the left side. On the left side the gap is so big you can fit the head of a writing pen in it & the right side you can barely get the pen tip in the gap. The rear side panels where they meet my rear doors are not & never have been even, since Collision One worked on it on either side. The paint is chipping off by 1 tail light. Paint at the rear spoiler is coming off as well. They got paint on my rear glass also & left it there even after my returning all 5 times. The trunk lid is scraping on my bumper scraping the paint off to bare plastic on my bumper cover for the 2nd time. I had to return my car once before for the same reason & problem on return # 2 or 3. Every time I returned my car with complaints on the repair quality I got the same response & excuse it the best we can do with it. This from the OWNER of the shop not just a technition. My trunk when you hit the release springs up rapidly & hard, so hard it bounces back down about 1/4 to 1/2 way & swings back up. I have complained about that all 5 times I returned my car to them. The 5th time they conceded that the trunk spring mechanism was damaged & needed replaced. They got the approval from responsible insurance co for the replacement of that part. They claimed they replaced it but didnt. All they did was remove it & paint it. The paint on it caused it to bind so it didnt spring open again until the painted part wore off from use of opening the trunk, where now its springing up again. I took my car to Toyota & had them look at it. The first words out of their mouth about the trunk was its a super easy fix. Both the spring mechanism & trunk hinges are damaged& need to be replaced. I told them Collision One claimed to have replaced the spring mechanism, they said sorry sir but they did NOT. Without removing anything just by visible inspection they gave me an estimate of what they could see by sight alone it has nearly $1,000.000 in repairs still needed. Possibly more but couldnt tell unless the removed the bumper to see what under & inside damage wasnt repaired or not done properly. They claim to be the best in the industry but I pointed out problems they claimed they couldnt or didnt see & I have no experience in body work. They say they have state of the art repair equipment but they either dont or dont know how to use it, or the more likely reason is they dont care about quality they just do what they want to to get the business & insurance money. I would NOT trust them to change a roll of toilet paper. To add insult to injury, when they worked on it the 1st repair attempt the morons put a high speed buffer on my brand new car & put swirls all over my new cars brand new paint. Avoid these clowns like the plague. I will not take my car back to them for anything else. Ever !!!!! They have showned & proved they are incapable or unwilling to do ethical business with anyone. They ripped off a friend of mine as well. His wife hit a deer & they did the same quality or lack there of repairs on his wifes front end. My car was a Brand New 2016 Corolla S Special Edition. They also cashed ALL of the insurance checks for repair payments without my knowledge or authorization knowing I was completely unhappy with the shaudy work they performed. I never saw any checks from the insurance company except the very 1st one they gave to me after the 1st initial estimate was done. This company is as crooked as the teeth on a saw blade. Calling them crooks is beyond an understatement. They need to be shut down.

We took my car in for minor damage to the bumper and front quarter panel. We received the estimate from Beau and were very impressed with his customer service and explaining what he was finding as he evaluated the damage. We were given our estimate and he stated honestly that it would take 4-5 days to complete the job, but with the insurance it might take just a few days longer. We had our repair approved through the insurance company before we ever took the car in for the work. The car was dropped off on Monday, August 29th and we were supposed to have the car back that Thursday, maybe Friday at the latest. We were then informed late that week, that there was additional damage found and it would be Tuesday after labor day that we would get the car. The car still was not done. We gave them phone numbers and email address to keep us informed on the progress of the repair and we received NOT THE FIRST UPDATE! We only found out what was going on with our repairs when the insurance adjuster called or we called ourselves. Every time a call was placed, the completion date was pushed back further and further. Finally on Friday, September 9th, my husband was notified the car would be ready Monday and not to worry, he (the guy at Collision One) took care of extending our rental through the weekend. We get a call at 6:15 Friday night from the car rental company telling us our car was due to be returned at 6:00 that night and we would be responsible for the bill. We spoke with the adjuster first thing Saturday morning and she had never been informed of the delay in our car or a request from the shop for an extended rental. We were even given a free detailing and oil change for our inconvenience. HA! Today is Monday, September 12th. My husband picked our car up and I inspected it after work. There are raised, hard defects in the paint. The quarter panel that was supposed to be fixed appeared to have had the tiny dent fixed, but it was NOT REALIGNED at all! It is atrocious work!! We will be returning the car to them tomorrow to try yet again to get this right! And let me say their free detail appeared to be spreading oil or grease on my tires to make them shine. WOW!
