You wont be disappointed! For once I had time to sit down for lunch in town and wanted to visit a local cafe rather than a chain. Its been a long time since Ive really walked through the town so this is the first time Ive come across Cool Beans. Very covid aware and secure. Lots of lovely outside seating as well as inside options. Great menu full of tempting treats. We went for cream cheese and cucumber sandwich which as you can see in the picture came with coleslaw, salad and crisps. We also tried the chocolate mess crepe, and a cappuccino with butterscotch syrup. Wow. The food was fresh and tasty. Honestly it was faultless. The crepe was decadent and fabulous, my 7 year olds eyes nearly popped out lol she loved it! Awesome coffee full of flavour. Lovely interior, toilet for customers and dogs welcome and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit, we will certainly be back ASAP. Thank you :)

Our wet and windy walk from Appledore to Bideford this morning was SO worth it as we discovered your lovely cafe, quite by chance. The savoury cream tea was gorgeous and my husband said the same about the rocky road. And as for that teapot - it gave us 9 cups of delicious tea (and as a tea addict I should know!) The service was quick, kind and friendly too. You have a fab little cafe and I wish you every success - you really deserve it x

Best cafe in Bideford in my opinion! Lovely, helpful staff, a range of delicious food (from waffles and crepes, to bubble tea!), its just very lovely overall! Variety of different flavours for the crepes and waffles, and the drinks like the milkshakes and bubble tea! The bubble tea and crepes are so delicious, they are my favourite thing to get when I go to this cafe. Lovely service, thank you!

What do you want from a good cafe? Good coffee? Of course, and the coffee at Cool Beans is excellent! Tasty baked goods? I recommend the brownie and the flapjack very highly. Good service? The guy serving is able to talk photography with me, which is just ideal.Best of all, if you cycle from Barnstaple, (which is a glorious ride) youve burned all your excess calories already!

Best coffee & cake in town. Have been coming here since Josh & Kezia opened this café just before lock-down 1, theyve worked all hours getting through the past year & now they seem to be reaping their rewards. They deserve all the success they get.DOGS WELCOME INSIDE TOO!!

My favourite café in bideford. Everything Ive had of theirs, from the afternoon tea to the nanaberry waffle, has been excellent. I have a real fondness for their chocolate brownie scotch egg.Basically, if someone were to ask me where to go for lunch it would be here. The best part; they also deliver!

Nice and friendly staff, great place to sit outside, although had to wait awhile for our drinks and unfortunately only one choice of milk

I loved the place the coffee was to die for and the toastie I had was well presented, definitely worth a visit for any tourists visiting the area

Went here yesterday with friends and got tea with scones and a oreo brownie. The tea and scones were good but the brownie was absolutely divine. Probably one of the best brownies Ive ever had in my life. Absolutely recommend this place!

Highly recommended! Very friendly staff and the best Panini and Hot Chocolate in town, make sure you leave room for a Waffle or Crepe as they are also amazing!
