A VERY patient and efficient young woman named Valerie helped me in the photo department. I am 81 years old, and the “scanning” mechanisms were baffling, to say the least. Kudos to her for her detailed instructions and patient assistance! The ultimate in customer service.

Theeee worst Walgreens. I’ve never stood in line for less than thirty minutes to get a prescription. How y’all gonna call me everyday about my prescription but when I come to pick it up I wait in line for an hour (not an exaggeration)?? I would give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe they’re short staffed but I’ve seen other people just standing back there while others were working. Now I gotta figure out how to change where my prescriptions go I’ve given them enough chances

I have been in the drive thru for THIRTY FIVE minutes. My time at the window alone was fifteen minutes, and after all that time, he said he couldn’t find my prescription. He said he saw it was ready on their computer, but the medication was missing. Either these lovely people are understaffed or management needs to get their organizational together. Especially for during a pandemic, these employees deserve a less stressful work environment and your customers definitely deserve better service (especially when it comes to their medications). Thankfully my medication isn’t necessary for my physical health and one day without it is okay.

I have a daughter away from home at U of Memphis. She has medication that she has to take everyday. Because of the snow her prescription was transferred to another walgreens because the one close to her was closed. She was told this location would be open and she could pick it up anytime after 5. She got there a little after 5 and the older, obviously mean, man at the front would not let her in. Would not even listen to her. You work where people need their medication. Why would you turn someone away without hearing them out. To me this is wrong in every way. Shame on this man. Walgreen, you do have people’s lives in your hands. You control medication. ACT LIKE YOU CARE!!!!!!! This happened 2/17/2021 my daughter was crying and very upset with how cruel this man was to her.

They lost my fiancees prescriptions, for almost a week, and when they said they would contact her doctor they did not. I called her doctor, the dr. called Walgreens, and then the pharmacist tried to tell us SHE called her doctor... no.So I called to file a formal complaint, and they emailed the person we were complaining about!? To tell her MY NAME and the nature of my complaint. What in the heck? No wonder all the complaints and bad reviews at this location never get anything done.They lost the prescriptions we dropped off IN PERSON and blamed us for it, and every time we called they said they had been too busy to look.Five minutes on the phone with our doc was all they needed, and it took US asking the doctor to call THEM to finally get the medicine.Such a pain, especially for medication my fiancee needs to LIVE.I hope they feel some sense of shame for something thats completely their fault, but the way they spoke to us I HIGHLY doubt it.Go anywhere else in Memphis, we will never use a walgreens pharmacy anywhere ever again. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Save yourself the frustration. Go elsewhere.Worst part is they have more affordable meds- doesnt matter when they wont give them to you. Not worth it in any way.

Sad .....I always have an issue getting someone on the line in their pharmacy every time I call and even after long hold times the phone hangs up so your forced to start over 🤯 the pharmacy needs an intervention TODAYYYYY

Terrible customer service. Pharmacy refused to answer the phone, and was profane when we arrived. We saw they weren’t answering because the pharmacist was checking people out in the front! What? Got cussed at by the pharmacy tech. We asked to be acknowledged, they ignored. Don’t bother with pharmacy. It’s a miracle we got our medicine. Go to Kroger Poplar Plaza pharmacy. It’s stellar.

The customer service at the pharmacy is horrible. This guy continued to place me on hold and when i asked why he only ask how could he help me and then place me on another hold. Ill gladly transfer my prescription else where if they cant do better.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.I dropped my script off (very normal medication) Thursday. I got to witness a homeless person be arrested during my wait so... not so bad. Friday it was not ready yet. Saturday, not ready.. no explanation. Sunday the pharmacist informed me they could not read the prescription and would need to verify with my doctor. Odd, but OKAY. Monday 4:30pm, Im walking out of work and call to check, once again. THEY DIDNT EVEN CALL MY DOCTOR. So, needless to say, if you value your health and count on timely medication, do not risk it.

I wanna say awesome job to Miss Angela who I spoke with over the phone. I’m a single mom and who couldn’t get answers from hospitals so I had an idea to just call Walgreens and when I tell u she was so amazing and graceful like thank you thank you Miss Angela for your patience and answers to my questions with verification!!!! She did more than I expected and I’m totally outstanded by the way she showed concern for me and my problem ! Good job ! She better than any doctor I’ve seen all my life ! And all this over the phone ! Definitely switching my local Walgreens here.

Pharmacy is inexcusably unorganized. Yesterday when I called my prescription in, a pharmacy worker assured me that would be ready the following day around noon. The next day (today) before noon, I received a text saying that my prescription is delayed and out of stock, so I called again to see what the next step is. Another worker stated that they’re out of stock; however, a shipment of my medication would be in around 12:00-1:00pm today and that I “might” receive a text or call about it, but it will be ready. Well, it is almost 6:00pm now. After I called again about 45 minutes ago, I was told by a worker that they’re not getting a shipment in today and that I needed to “figure it out for myself” and “call around” until I find somewhere else that has it in stock. I’ve called several other Walgreens and was on hold for 45+ minutes every time. I would be so embarrassed if I worked here.

They pharmacy doesnt answer their phone. I called multiple times and was hung up on and kept on hold endlessly so I had to go up there thinking maybe its just busy. They were not busy working, just being idle and slow. Cierra and Melvin were both rude and rather than just apologize for the mishap, argued with me. Cierra especially was rude and right in front of the manager. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because at least Shay the assistant manager listened to me and apologized. I dont expect perfection but these people are handling medications to the public. The pharmacy staff seem either uncaring and irresponsible or incompetent. I have no complaints about the store but the pharmacy staff needs a new attitude or else need to look for a new job. They should not be in the field of health care.

This particular Walgreens used to be my absolute favorite. It was not only close to my house, but it stayed open 24/7. Now all of a sudden the pharmacy closes at 11 pm, store midnight. There are no 24h stores in the area. Also, the pharmacy techs can be bit short & non caring. Other than that, I love Walgreens. Very convenient, nice sales, counter clerks are nice...So Walgreens get it togethet, please dont make me take my business elsewhere...

Pharmacists not on the same page. Pharmacist said they had to order Medicine, I came to pick it up and they didn’t have full amount in stock. They ordered medication and said it was too early for me to pick it up. A pharmacist and 5 pharmacy Techs cannot figure out what is going on. I do not recommend this pharmacy If your medication is complicated.

Carolyn was extremely rude to me and my friend when we just wanted to pick up our photo order. She claimed to have forgotten about us while she stared at us and checked out 10 other people. Then when she finally came over she had no idea where to find out photos and we had to be helped by another employee who was sweet and apologized for her coworkers incompetence.
