Brought in my wife’s car for a oil change for the first time at Christian Brothers.The service was MUCH cheaper than the dealer. The staff was friendly and helpful.They emailed me pictures of the vehicle inspection. Have never had a automotive service do this before. Very impressed.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I brought my truck in for a brake repair (they got it in within two days of my call!) and after taking everything apart they found a larger issue which required them to order additional parts. They still had my vehicle done within 2 days! Everyone I dealt with was extremely kind and professional from start to end. The pricing was very fair and my truck is running great! I will definitely be returning in the future if I run into any issues so the my vehicle. Thank you for such great quality and service!

Our family was visiting friends in Meridian and our car started making an awful sound. Within minutes of arriving they had our car out on a test drive and then on the lift for a diagnosis. Lucky for us it was a simple fix under $100 and they had us back driving with our four kinds in under an hour. Christian Brothers is the most professional, punctual auto shop Ive ever used. Ive had my fair share of automobile problems in the past. As a result Ive dealt with good shops and Ive dealt with bad shops. Christian Brothers was the highest standard Ive seen yet. To those shops that also do good work, but lack in other areas such as cleanliness and customer service, they matter a great deal.Christian Brothers was accommodating to my early arrival, had a very clean, air conditioned front room, excellent customer service all around, and punctual throughout the entire process.The courtesy text with images, timestamp, and any extraneous information about the vehicle was well received. I am not sure if its a company culture thing, but this auto shop is a well run business, which is where so many auto shops fall short. Never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of, and all of the information I was given was concise and accurate.As long as I am in the treasure valley, I will not use another auto shop if I have the option.

This is the best place to bring your vehicle in the valley my Volkswagen Jetta needed a battery replacement unlike most vehicles you can’t just swap the battery you have to maintain power to the computer or the entire system needs to be reset Michelle slipped us in for a quick appointment and we were in and out in 15 minutes my wife had been having a very rough day and their kindness turned her entire day around I cannot thank you guys enough

Great service all-around. I got a flat tire while taking my daughter to school. The tire got shredded and they were the closest auto repair when it happened. They contacted Big O tires (where my tire warranty comes from) and checked to see if my tire could be covered and just put on the spare tire when they confirmed it could be rather than charge me to replace the tire then and there.

I drop my vehicle off for an alignment. The guys did an inspection on it and It was determined that there were some suspension issues upfront. Turns out my factory warranty will probably cover it. Which means that they spent some good time on my vehicle And then I would have to take it away from them to do the full service at the dealer. Well I hated to do that, it’s going to save me thousands of dollars. The guys here were honest and very admirable. They didn’t charge me a dime for what they did. And intern I told them they have her in my business in the future for the rest of my vehicles. I came here based on a referral from someone who I know and trust. On another note, the location is absolutely immaculate. You feel more like you’re checking into a higher in hotel than an automotive repair shop. I will take my vehicles back to them for future services. Their prices are very reasonable. Give them a shot.

First time I used this place. My A/C quit working on me since I moved here 7 months ago right during the heat wave. I was looking for a shop and found them online. Since the reviews were good I decided to try them out. Everyone was friendly and they got my car done quickly. Now my A/C blows nice abd cold thankfully it was just Freeon it needed.

They answered my questions thoroughly and they were efficient. They were able to fit me in last minute for a diagnostic check and provided me with a good quote in comparison with a quote from a large dealer. They walked me through each issue with photos after they fixed my car and told me what could potentially be a problem in the future. Very impressed with their kindness, great prices, and thorough services.

This shop will not honor their warranties. Do not go here for any major work. In good conscience I will never go to this mechanic shop again. I have never experienced a shop blantantly deny a warranty because the manager was having a bad day. We had a pretty severe leak and they diagnosed it properly and got us on our way quickly. We have used them since 2018 for our two high mileage Toyota’s (sienna and Yaris) and they’ve kept us running and safe. I own a 2018 Chevy Traverse. The bracket that holds the exhaust pipes to the undercarriage had cracked and come loose, causing a rattling noise. I took it to CBA and was very, very impressed with their service. I only have one vehicle so the shuttled me back and forth, but what I was most surprised and pleased with is that the technician took a video of the problem and posted it on a report they sent to me. I could clearly see the issue and the technician provided a written explain of the problem and what was done to resolve it. I didnt have to just take someones word about the problem. It was clear visible and explained. I cant say enough good things about CBA in Meridian. Thank you to the whole team there!

They diagnosed the problem. Fixed it, then realized it wasnt the actual problem. The real problem fix would be lots more money so I didnt do it. They didnt charge me for the original repair because it didnt fix the problem. Honest guys.

I was looking for a good independent garage to service my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. I found them through a recommendation on the Neighbors App. They were excellent! From the moment I showed and met Michelle their service was great. Got my 5000 mile service done, front end alignment, all done on time and for less money than the Toyota Dealership. I highly recommend them!

Went to Christian Brothers after going place to place trying to get a diagnosis and a fair estimate. After working with Derrick we were able to figure out the issue with the vehicle, Derrick gave me an estimate in the beginning and after going through my vehicle he realized costs were more expensive than he first thought, instead of charging me extra Derrick honored his first estimate and charged me no extra costs. This is the first shop that I’ve seen that displayed this level of customer service and not only that but they made sure to keep in contact and were always keeping me updated. The costs were extremely fair and I recommend people who are looking for honest mechanics come to this location, I know I will for the foreseeable future and I’ll recommend any friend that has vehicle issues to come here as well.

I got a transmission flush and a Lube job at Christian Brothers and they did a great job. We have not had any issues with the work they did up to now and dont anticipate any. The owner Brett is a really nice guy and very fair! We would definitely go there again for our Automotive needs.

After receiving a referral from a family member I took a couple of my vehicles to Christian Brothers for a Courtesy Inspection because they are getting older and higher miles on them. They found that the radiator was leaking and a couple of other issues that needed attention on my SUV. Zach gave me a recommendation of what truly needed to be fixed, and what could wait. I ultimately replaced the radiator on my SUV.I want to preface the following by saying that I will definitely continue to do business with Christian Brothers (so read to the end for the outcome).After picking up my vehicle I was about half a block away when my transmission lost all compression, and prior to the radiator being replaced I had never had an issue with my transmission. I called and Zach immediately came and picked me up in the shuttle car and had a tow-truck take my vehicle back to the shop. After inspecting my vehicle they found that a hose clamp on the hose from my radiator to my transmission had failed resulting in all of the transmission fluid releasing from the vehicle. Christian Brothers took care of the tow and also replaced all of the transmission fluid when they replaced the faulty hose clamp. So, I pretty much got a free transmission flush out of the deal as well!Both Zach and the owner, Brett personally brought my vehicle to my home to drop it off, apologized several times for the inconvenience, and guaranteed that they stand by their work. I believe them, and as I previously said I will do business with them again.Things fail, but the telling is in how they responded. Zach and the team were professional, courteous, and quickly identified and responded to and resolved the issue. No excuses.

If I could give this organization a six star rating I would.When my vehicle broke down I took it to a Ford dealership who recommended $7,000 worth of repair being more than my vehicle is worth, I was considering selling my vehicle to a salvage yard when I came across Christian Brothers Automotive. The owner of the company and one of his mechanics took the time to take a look at my vehicle and told me they could do the repairs for $350 and it would be operational. 3 hours later my vehicle was repaired and fully operational with high levels of Integrity respect and honor this organization provided the best service somebody could recommend.Thank you kindly for everything you have done, May many blessings come upon this organization.

My car broke down before my appointment to have it looked at. I called to see if I could have it towed to their shop and not only did they say yes but offered to help me find a tow truck company. Unfortunately I had to have the starter and battery replaced but they had my car in and out in a little over than a day. What was just one of the many things I appreciated was that I never felt I was being talked down to because I am female. Any future car care needs I may have Christian Brothers Automotive will be the place I go!!!

I went in for an oil change and was immediately impressed with their front reception area, I didn’t feel like I was in a typical car repair shop, it was very nice and welcoming. I was sent a text with a summary of my vehicles inspection that included photos of my vehicle. They called me and explained the inspection findings and told me that I’ll need new tires and breaks in the near future which I found very helpful. Everyone who helped me was friendly and professional; their prices are reasonable and they have great customer service. I’m glad to have found a great car service center, I’ll definitely be going back!

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in with the check filler cap light on that would not reset. Right from the start I was impressed that they sent a tech out to the parking lot to check it out. I have been to other shops where you would have to pay to have that checked out. Was able to leave it and they had the right equipment to be able and go in and make the computer reset it . Was very impressed with the owner coming out and introducing himself also. The waiting room and shop are first class. If I have another issue I will be back here for sure.

We shopped and had spoken to at least 10 different automotive shops. Dealerships, 3rd party mechanics- Christian brothers was the best priced and the most attentive and empathetic to my situation. Their honesty has won all of my future business as well.

Gave these guys $500 to take apart my engine and fix the problem. They didn’t fix the problem at all and even took out parts of my engine and HANDED them to me in a ziploc bag expecting me to drive the car home with missing parts of the engine. Went home, changed out spark plugs, found the issue myself, fixed the issue, now the car runs fine. I could’ve saved $400 performing the diagnostic myself. I trusted that these guys would find the issue, not only did they make it worse by taking parts out of my engine, they missed a fix that would take 2 hours max. Wish I looked into the problem deeper. They’re nice people but I highly suggest looking into performing the task yourself or by a $50 OBDII reader and figure the problem out yourself.

Christian Brothers represents what automotive service and professionalism is all about. On a few occasions, I have had an immediate need to get work done and they accommodated me each time without hesitation. All work has been first rate. They always call with what to expect and alert me of other issues if they exist.

The truck had intermittent electrical issues the first round fixed most problems. But the alternator still was working. They took it right back in. Solved the problem and got me back on the road! Excellent place to take your vehicle and friendly wonderful service!

We needed a new ignition coil which is an engine issue and covered under warranty ($180 job). They wanted to upsale us to $900 dollars for extra maintenance and service, then proceeded to say the coil is barely covered by warranty so theres no point submitting a claim. Then said later that it wasnt actually covered under warranty. After getting the run around and talking like the $900 was our only choice, we demanded they only treat the issue and submit a warranty claim.They charged $124 for evaluation of the car and $180 for the coil and labor.Im glad they finally did the job, but they are dishonest and they overcharge. We will not be going back.

They do amazing job. We just bring our used car bought it from Auto Source Boise. We are thinking to use our car in out of town but since we keep bringing it the shop like 3-5x the car keeps breaking up. Then I suggest to my hub to bring it in certified auto tech to check if everything in the car is ok and safe to drive. So bring it to Christian Brothers Automotive and check everything then we find out that Auto Source Boise are selling unsafe vehicle. Especially when my hub saw a flying broken glass on the AC while he is driving. Never ever buy in Auto Source Boise they don’t care about their clients safety. Go to Christian Brothers Automotive to check your used car and find if the dealer don’t tell the problem of the car that they are selling.

Objectively speaking, Christian Brothers were great. They were friendly and timely. Though slightly more expensive than other oil change locations, the cozy waiting area alone makes it worth it. Subjectively, however, I didnt love them leaving extra stuff in my car I didnt ask for. The thank you note and air freshener were thoughtful, but I didnt care about the thank you note (youre welcome?), and the air freshener felt like they were saying my car smells bad. Again, thats personal perceptions though.

Christian Brothers has helped us with several of our aging vehicles and, frankly, sometimes performed a miracle. Even when we don’t like the answer, we feel they have always been honest and fair with us—what more can you ask that that? Add in a customer oriented staff, courtesy shuttle and long hours and they can’t be beat.

My started broke on my car and they got me in the next day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it that same day. I liked that they did not give me a list of everything wrong with my car - and that they fixed my car at a very reasonable price! I would recommend them to my friends

I drive from SE Boise to Meridian, thats how great they are! They dont push services at you like most oil change businesses do. Every time I get my oil changed they do a free check of everything else on the car to make sure its fine. If your car maintenance will take a long time, they offer shuttle service as well!

As a single female gramma I have always been very wary of being taken advantage of by auto service businesses. Being new to the Boise/Meridian area I had no one to recommend one for my oil changes/auto issues. I found Christian Brothers on McMillan Road through posted reviews and I am so glad I did. Every employee there - without exception - was wonderful. Polite, informative, respectful. They changed my oil & replaced my brake light quickly and I found their prices very reasonable. I sat in their lounge area on my computer & they brought me coffee. My experience was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back.

A couple days ago our Equinox developed some transmission issues. My wife took it to Christian Brothers. The technicians determined that it did have some transmission problems, but then informed us that we still had about 3,000 miles left on our manufacturers warranty and suggested we go to the dealer and get it fixed free. We did. Christian Brothers saved us a lot of money by being honest with us and telling us about the warranty. We bought the car used and I thought it was way past due on the warranty. Christian Brothers didnt have to tell us and could have done the work themselves. Instead they chose the honest and ethical path. My wife and I are so grateful and impressed. I have never gone to them before, but I can tell you I will from now on if needed. Thank you for what you have done for us.

Great experience! Had a quick fix that needed to get done and a full assessment of what I need to do within the next few months. Garage bays are spotless. Customer services was fantastic and the waiting room was really comfortable. I was able to get work done while I waited.

New to Idaho and thought I had done my homework for a new place to service our cars. Super disappointed in myself for trusting this company. Went in last week as our car AC wasnt blowing cold on our older kids car. They diagnosed as the AC unit being in fail safe mode and needed to have the cabin air filter replaced and do an evaporator flush - total $362. Told me the AC Blower Motor was checked and totally fine. Receipt noted they also do a free check of air pressure and adjust it to MFG guidelines. Day after we get the car back the AC Blower isnt blowing as strongly as before the system got flushed. Called and they said bring it back. They checked it and said it was all within standard. It wasnt, but not much I could do. Now, a week later the fan stops blowing and the tire pressure light has come on. Called and they told me to bring it back. Inspected and now the AC Blower Motor is done. Perry tried to be helpful as I explained I found this timing very strange as I was just told specifically the AC Blower Motor was fine. Back again to get an estimate. Derrick calls this time and tells me cost to fix is $438.80. Hes beyond unhelpful. I explain I just spent $362 for something worthless and wouldnt have said yes to an $800 fix for this car. Pickup car and get referred by a good friend to her family mechanic. Fix for the issue is $200 and part comes from the same place. Also take the car to get serviced and they check the tires and tell me they were all wrong levels per MFG guidelines which is why the TPMS light came on. I hadnt mentioned they had just been checked and adjusted. My fault for thinking a Christian shop wouldnt take complete advantage of people.

Since switching to Christian Brothers, our vehicles have had some unique situations. Brett and his team always handle it with a smile and by being straight forward. I feel included in the decisions made for *my* vehicles instead of being told what will and will not happen. I never worry about my car when it is there. They know me and call me by name when I come in (not just because I brought them a wildlife surprise in one of our cars). They include my plans for my vehicles into their care options they offer me, not the gains they could make monetarily like my previous garage.

As an x-professional mechanic, having an experienced service writer and mechanic work on my car was very important. They did an excellent job fine tuning the alignment on my modified Land Rover. I know the business, and I know what is honest. These guys are honest and will not overcharge you. They go by the book and they do great work. I highly recommend this Christian Brothers shop to all my friends.

I had my cars brake pads repaired within a 72 hours of the first call, great service. BUT... what made the 5 stars is what happened one month later. The left blinker was blinking fast, right after the repair and after a month I stopped by to report it, fully expecting an argument and long wait, but what I got was smiles and quick light bulb change. They addressed the problem right away and didnt charge for the bulb, great service and zero issues. I recommend them to everyone.

The Ford dealer told me my radiator was leaking. It sounded kind of fishy so I took it to Christian brothers for a second opinion. Christian brothers did a pressure test and found no leaks. I’m grateful that I found an on a shop to work on my vehicles and I’ll be taking on my vehicles to the shop from now on

Im absolutely amazed at the customer service I received at Christian Brothers Automotive. From the time I first called them they were nothing but polite and honest with me. By the time I got my car back which by the way they were done with it 3 days before I thought they would be and they even fixed a problem I didnt even know they were fixing, my traction control light is now out and it has stayed out and they fixed a massive leak in my power steering. I am definitely coming here the next time I have an issue if you want quality customer service and honesty this is the place to go! **** Update 8/2/17. After Christian Brothers responded exactly one week ago that theyd contact me to discuss the issue, no one has attempted to contact me to date. I suppose it is unimportant to them to address customer issues. To add insult to injury they charged me close to $50 for a diagnosis fee when they diagnosed something that is working perfectly fine! The least they could do is refund my money. Really sounds like they just wanted to soak me for $1600.00 of unneeded repairs. Good thing Im not a sucker!DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Id give it less than one star if I could because I believe the quote they gave me puts their integrity into question. I took my vehicle in for what ALL symptoms pointed to as a starter problem. When I called I was already on guard because the person on the phone was telling me how he hopes the flywheel isn’t damaged as that would be a large expense. He emphasized this over again enough times to make me start questioning why he kept bringing it up. Starters go bad from time to time, but rarely do they damage the flywheel. It happens, but rarely. So, I take my vehicle in since it’s close to my house and they could get it in right away. I leave it with them for a diagnosis and they call me back saying my throw-out bearing needs replaced. Cost: $1,616.00. I ask them why a throw-out bearing would cause a “click,click” sound when trying to turn the engine over. Then the guy tells me “well maybe your starter and throw-out bearing both need replaced”. I told him I’d be right over to pick up my vehicle. I proceeded to take it to a shop that specializes in clutches. They immediately diagnose it, correctly, as a starter issue and replaced my starter for $261.00. The starter was making a noise with the vehicle running which Christian Brothers said was the throw-out bearing. The technician told me absolutely not, that’s not how it sounds when throw-out bearings go, but I already knew this since I do know a bit about vehicles. No flywheel damage, no throw-out bearing issue, no clutch problems as Christian Brothers had told me needed to be replaced. I’ve been driving my vehicle since the repair and my clutch works just fine, no noise, no issues. I strongly get the impression they wanted to nail me for the big money repair to replace my whole clutch system and not fix what was wrong. Worst case: They wanted to soak me for $1,600.00 of unneeded repairs. Best case: their technicians do not have the knowledge to accurately diagnose a starter issue.

As a new resident of the area I was skeptical of finding a mechanic that I could trust. A tire guy recommended Christian Brothers and I am so glad that he did! I felt comfortable from the get-go! I have a BMW and a Toyota and they have now serviced them both...I am thrilled! The service technician went out of their way to look into and correct some things I noticed and Beverley was fantastic in the office! Great experience all the way around! They have earned a customer for sure!

They genuinely value their clients and its evident in everything they do. Excellent customer service. Fair value. Clean and comfortable environment. I love the hand written note of thanks when I pick up my car after service. Nice touch!

My F-150 was very sluggish, borderline dangerous as it wouldn’t accelerate well which is an issue merging into traffic. They correctly diagnosed issues with the engine and timing that were rare for a younger engine. They found the kit that was needed and the truck is now running better than ever. Very thankful for their expertise and terrific service all around.

Took our Suburban in for an inspection because Midas said it needed over $1000 worth of work! Midas is a bunch of liars because Christian Brothers was honest with us and said there was not anything wrong or that serious! Gave us a FREE inspection and we were on our way! Over the top excellent service, we will be back for all of our Repairs and Maintenance! We will never go back to Midas, what a bunch of crooks!

The moment I called as well as walked into the shop, everyone was so helpful and friendly, they made me feel like family.They were thorough and honest with everything. Christian brothers made up for a small mix up in communication. Only advice I have is Cameron can show a little more respect towards custom complaints. (As long as the customer is calm which I was.) Other then that, alignment and rack and pinion was phenomal work and the owner came through on refund for a part mix up. Thank you

I was able to drop my car off and they were able to drive me to the office and pick me up so I didnt have to wait while they did the oil change-fantastic!!Also I am not really conscientious of car care and they explained the importance of care maintenance in a way I understood. I am buying another car and they were able to schedule the inspection for today as well and really affordable. Spending money on a car thats not yours isnt pleasant so theyve made the price not ridiculous.I will only go to this company from now on to have my car(s) worked on!!THANK YOU!!

We were in need of a fix for our A/C unit. We went to Christian Brothers because they are close and new to the neighborhood. They stated that they could possibly get to it that day. Instead of leaving the car there all day to possibly get it fixed, an appointment was made for the next morning when they opened, to ensure that we could have a fix before leaving on a trip.We left the car with them the following morning at our appointment time and 6 hours later we still hadnt heard anything from them. We called and they stated that they would be unable to get to the repairs that day.We now have to travel 6 hours in the 95 degree heat without an A/C because they were unable to complete the job they stated they could. Additionally, we have to pay $300 for a plane ticket for an elderly mother who cannot travel in a hot car for that long.If you are on a tight timeline I highly recommend taking your car to someone other than Christian Brothers. In addition to being unable to complete our repairs in the promised time, they also didnt call us to communicate. We had to call them, and at that point it was too late to explore other options. Despite all of this, they still made us pay the $40 diagnostic fee. Ridiculous.

My brother referred Christian Brothers Automotive to me just as a place to have if I ever needed it. Two weeks ago my Jeep broke down unexpectedly, we had it towed to Christian Brothers and they were very professional, quick and honest with me. I got my Jeep fixed, it’s back home and I’m very happy.

These guys are incredible. They came in with a estimate $700.00 lower than the competition. Then they called me after I dropped my truck and told me it was going to be another $1,000.00 less. Some work that Les Schuabb told me needed to be done didnt. So these guys are extremely honest and I will give them all of my business.
