CC was very friendly, helpful and informative. I was greeted immediately but not in a desperate way. I told her what I was looking for and she educated me on the products that they had to offer. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy but after speaking with her, felt confident that I could accompany goal. She was friendly and it was natural. She had great energy. I will return.Update: when I got home and did a full face of the recommenced Foundation, I was very disappointed. The shade was way off and made me look orange.. I ended up returning everything that I bought. The ladies were still very friendly but not good with the shade matching for my complexion.
Out of stock on everything. Like 90% of their stock isnt there. How can you have an open store with nothing to sell? The floor was dirty. The counters were dirty. Seriously a gross and empty place. Complete waste of time and turned me off of Sephora big time.

On my visit to Sephora today, I was assisted by Valerie she was most knowledgeable and helpful and even though it was right before closing she took the time to help me find what I wanted Customer Service is so in Florida and Valerie went above and beyond lifetime customer!!
On Saturday, February 8, 2020, I had a make-up tutorial at Sephora in Town East Mall with the very talented Valerie. She’s very knowledgeable and gave me some awesome tips. I left my session not only looking fabulous but also feeling very confident! She is such an asset! Great job and many, many thanks!!!

Omg! The new staff here is great, unlike before. The girls are sweet and knowledgeable in their products. I was able to find my perfect foundation shade with Valeria and even recommended a primer fit for my skin type. The lady at the cashier was actually nice unlike other Sephora’s I’ve been to. Old reviews are outdated.
I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews, maybe because they’re old reviews? But I really liked it here, they were professional, answered my questions and asked me if I needed help several times. Customer service is good and the selection of items is good as well, comparable to the stand alone Sephora stores. I’d come back again.

Went in for my birthday gift and they gave me the wrong one. There was no one else in the store so they werent rushed. Now I have to go back up there because the stuff I was given isnt something I use. Irritating.
Best customer service ever!!! Clarissa and Yvette are always so helpful and kind, If you go go to them. Anytime I need anything they help me find what’s perfect and beneficial to me.
Evelyn from Sephora was AMAZING!! She went out of her way to help me with the products and showed me how to apply them. Because of her help I wound up buying an eyeshadow palet and I love it!!
Was looking to buy some lip gloss & other items for my nieces birthday but the Hispanic employees ladies were too busy chit chatting in the corner. She just pointed at Rhianna products so I left. Need to hire staff that knows what theyre doing & want to help people not just people who want to talk & not help people.
The girl named Calysta was really sweet. Love her makeup and she helped me find the right eyeshadow to compliment my skin tone and a really pretty mauve lipstick that’s now my FAVORITE ONE. Highkey can’t wait to go see her again.
Karen was so helpful with exchanging some products! I’m definitely coming back to Sephora at JC Penny! Sephora at NorthPark needs to re-asses there employee etiquette for better service and assistance. If it wasn’t for Karen, being so kind and helpful with the exchange of my products, I probably would of be stuck with foundations that I couldn’t use! Also, don’t use “Shade Finder” online! IT DOES NOT MATCH TO THE SKIN TONE!

Literally every time I go into this store I can never get assistance!!! I spend on average $180-$200 every makeup store run, however I can never spend one single cent in this store because no one will ever assist me. I love JCPenny’s and spend hundreds of dollars with each trip as we’re a family of 6 and the service is great but the Sephora in there is a bad reflection on what JCPenney’s stands for and should be shut down. Sales at this store have to be the worst in the Dallas metroplex. I hope Sephora and JCPenney’s corporate can see these reviews.

Unhelpful is an understatement! I was one of 2 customers in the shop so the excuse wasnt that they were busy.When asked about Tarte blush I was told I could pick any color I liked? I didnt like that answer. I went to Ulta and purchased Tarte foundation, blush, eyebrow mousse, eye shadow, mascara, eye concealer and moisturizer. Guess JCPenney Sephora wasnt interested in my money or my business. Ill never go back.

Some girl named Vivica kept starring me down for no reason. then had a bad attitude when she rung me up. This is why this location sucks, they just wanna get you out of there so they can keep playing on their phones and gossiping.
Terrible customer service I asked one of the lady’s at Sephora for help and they completely ignored me so I went to the next employee for help and she said she had 2 other people ahead of me so I was fine with waiting after 40min of waiting she completely forgot about me and helped another costumer that had came in 20min after me. I completely dropped everything i was going to buy and walked out the store I will not be shopping here again. I don not recommend this Sephora to anyone. They lost my business. They need to work on they’re costumer service or hire more people.
I have been here twice, and I guess I should have read the reviews before I went. The first time I went it was hard to get anyone to help me. Everyone act like they were too busy to help. Since I really wanted to try this make up I went back again, and my next experience wasn’t better. The girl did try my some foundation on me, and then I asked her about the contouring and bronzer and she just blew it off, and went to get me some samples. I’m just thinking to myself how am I suppose to really get the full effect of this make up and see if it fits me when you didn’t do anything. At least if you go to MAC they try their best to give you a full face to see what fits you best. This is truly sad that’s its 3+ negative comments and the company had not responded to any of them. I guess they don’t care about their sales or customers.
Everyone has different experiences, I absolutely had a good one and thats thanks to Cindy. She helped me, while she even had to attend to other ladies whom had just entered sephora and wanted help.. I understand customer service is important and cindy showed that and more, due to her partner at her lunch break. Even though she had to go back and forth from helping me to helping customers to checking customers out at register but I had a good experience inside sephora today. Definitely recommend cindy . if you got time & patients and great attitude towards people. Shes a helpful, appreciative, communicative consultant. And helpful good for the best recommendations of products.
The staff is very rude, and it multiple people, and they don’t ever do things right.. And they get angry if u ask for help.it’s very sad that that is :(I will no longer shop at Sephora I rather go to ulta.
I am so disappointed with the customer service. I usually shop at Ulta but I was interested in buying a product from Rihannas makeup line, attempting to make an exception I wanted to get a shade match and while I noticed the girls on the floor were busy I kindly asked them to help me and I would patiently wait for assistance. So in the meantime I look around and decide to take an eyeshadow pallet and two lip scrubs, well 30+ minutes Im still waiting and after seeing them skip me and help someone else I was furious, I left the eyeshadow palette the lip scrubs and the foundation I planned on getting. They lost a customer that attempted to give sephora a chance and honestly I can go elsewhere to spend my money. The staff was rude unhelpful and plain unprofessional! I would stay away from that place. Just plain cold. Ill stick to ulta. There is no need for people to be disrespected and mistreated. I hope they hire better staff that actually know what they are doing.
Every time I go this Hispanic man follows me around like I stole something... I have bought alot of makeup there but hes making me feel uncomfortable.Next time Ill just ask him for his cli number and report him.FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: anytime you feel like you experience bad customer service just ask them for there name and cli number and report them on Sephora website or call the head quarters.
I love this Sephora, I always find what I need unless it is an extremely new product then I have to wait, there have been occasions where they keep a waiting list and once the product is available they call me to inform and reserve the product for me. I do agree that some staff members are more helpful and nice than ithers but Lance is the sweetest man, he always provides the best service, even reminds me to redeem my play points. Store is quite small, wish it was a bit bigger. My overall experience at sephora JC Penney is always great.
I went tonight and there were 2 ladies which only one bothered to come to where I was after I had searched and tried several foundations. She only came because my daughter went to ask her about a stila product and then she was short with her as she was too busy doing her lipstick. She came as my daughter was telling me that she was sorry it took so long but the lady was busy doing her lipstick and and never stopped doing her lipstick as she didnt bother to look and just said oh we are out of stock in that. Then the lady had an attitude and said excuse me in a short and rude tone. Im so disgusted with these people. I just wanted some Marc jacobs foundation tarte blush and stila eyeshadow not a ridiculous and rude lady acting like she can bully me. I am not a child and she needs to get it together because the next person she does that to might not have a child with her that she wants to teach not to stoop to those levels. I am very patient but this woman wore on mine in about 20seconds and I left as to keep my composure and not set a bad example. Thanks a lot rude lady at Sephora smh
This is by far the worst Sephora I have ever been to. Their cast members are rude, unhelpful & look down their noses at you. Half the time the products are missing, or messy & disorganized. Good luck trying to get anyone to help you & when you do, they seem to be irritated about it. I will stick to driving 40 minutes out of my way to the one in Allen.
Poor customer service. I had recently got a gift card from Sephora at towneast and the palette that I wanted was out of stock I went to search for it at abother Sephora that 40 min away from my home and was told I couldnt use it at any other Sephora beside the jcpenny. I was upset because the buyer was never informed of this and it wasted my gas and time And I think its important to give this information out when buying the gift card because they are non refundable. I tried going online and the gift card would not go thru. I called towneast Sephora and they hung up the first time I called again and the lady did not know anything and put me on hold for 20+ min and never talked to me again. I then tried calling back for the third time and could not get thru anymore as if I was put on hold again. I then called another jcpenny Sephora (on skillman) which they finally assisted me.
Its a small store and because of that can get busy quick. The staff were friendly especially Crystal who helped me out.i would go again
One star is too generous for this excuse of a Sephora. The staff is grossly uninformed, unprofessional, and rude. Also, Im not which products were actually in stock since it looked like they havent received a shipment in a month. I will definitely not be back.
