Came here wanting to switch providers and was helped right away. All the staff were very knowledable and went above and beyond in helping me the right phones and best plans to suit my situation. Along with this they made a good effort in trying to give me the best deals possible on all accessories and phones. Overall very good experience.

Wish I could give zero stars. The tall older man as soon as i walked in was very cold and had an attitude. I scheduled an appointment because my phones screen was not lighting up and still within the 1 year warranty from purchase. He was quick to inform me that the Verizon store is incapable of servicing phones and I would need to contact customer service. The man did not even ask to look at it. I asked if we could call while I was in the store because I could not call out on my cell phone. he stated that their phones did not call out. He suggested I find a phone else where and then just stared at me very creepily, waiting for me to leave. I later called Verizon they called the store only to find out he lied and they should have called customer service.

I purchased some accessories for my new phone recently from verizon directly. I was informed by verizon I could return them to the store if I wanted to within 30 days. Ive now stopped 4 times at this store and gotten every excuse to why they wont take them back. This store is trying to run out the 30 day return period and stick me with it. Ive heard, the manager isnt here, I came in too late, the computer is down. The worst part is one manager told me he could override it to do the return and when I came in to do it, the female manager told me there was no way she could do that. These people are salesmen of the worst kind. You cant trust this store. I called back into verizon main support and they told me the store should be able to do this no problem. No one from the store has taken the initiative to actually help me.

Stopped at Verizon store in Middleton, WI this morning with questions about the up-coming change to my tracfone. Apparently Verizon bought out tracfone and need to upgrade the phone. Asked salesman about that, he said Verizon bought tracfone, but it has nothing to do with Verizon phone service. I figured at that point we needed to talk about a replacement phone from Verizon, but the salesman just turned his head and looked away. Rude! Should have asked his name, but instead just left store.

THE NICEST PEOPLE HERE. Jason and Melissa were beyond helpful in everything. The entire Verizon system crashed while there (a fluke nationwide thing, not a local fault) and they were patient and apologetic and more than made up for it in service and kindness. Highly recommend as long as you’re okay with good people and quality service. If not then this isn’t the Verizon store to frequent.

So here is why I gave this place 3 stars, its because of Jeremys shady decision and part my own fault as well.I came in today with a clear set of things I was going to get during my T-Mobile -> Verizon transition:1) Cheap-ish phone (Galaxy A51 - non 5G model)2) Started Unlimited Plan ($70/month as advertised + taxes)3) no plan addons or protection plansSo what goes on next is supposed to be fine, right?I get my phone, start the smooth transtition, sign here and there, and the typical this is how much its going to cost afterwards including the high bill at first for the activation fee but things werent quite fine.Now I gave this 3 stars since this was partly my mistake for not looking deep into the page and only trusting the employee, I was in kind of a rush and they werent on a rush since I was the only one there the whole time (mask and what not). So yea kids dont do this at home/public, practice awareness and read closely even if in rush.After specifically telling him (Jeremy) that I wanted the Started Unlimited plan, he goes ahead and signs me up for the Do more Unlimited which costs more per month. That plan signs me up for 5G services even though I specifically (again) told him that I wanted a phone with no 5G since clearly we dont live in an area where this technology will be implemented anytime soon and I dont need such services at all. For starters, the phone that I got isnt even capable of using this technology.I got home and was able to slow down down enough to start setting my phone up through Verizon and looking closer at all of the expected bills, plans, and addons... this is where I noticed that tiny little difference on what I had thought I sign up for vs what I got. I immediately remediated the whole thing. I was able to changed plans and remove unnecessary addons to get it down to the appropriate $60/month instead of $100/month.Its not exactly Verizons fault, the other staff seemed helpful and seemed nicer. I will stick around with Verizon for at least a year or two to test their services fully. But heads up, appearances are deceiving. He gave me a whole friendly staff deal and threw in all of that +$$ in the plan, maybe expecting me to not notice. Tough luck buddy, I am not an engineer and scientist for no reason. I pay attention to detail so sooner or later find and correct your shady sales tactics.Thanks Verizon for better coverage and what not. Keep an eye on your staff.

I had a great experience at this location. I was able to walk out of the door with the phone I wanted after a very short wait time. You definitely get what you pay for. And while sometimes Verizon phones, plans, and accessories can be a little pricey, in the end it is definitely worth it.

My fiance and I set up an appointment with Matthew at the Middleton location to purchase 2 new phones. We are from Sun Prairie and chose to drive to Middleton to see Matthew because of the outstanding customer service he provided us with when he was filling in at the Madison East location. We transferred her number from US Cellular because of the great customer service I have received in the past from Verizon as a company. We were in and out of the store in less than an hour with 2 new phones fully set up. Matthew far exceeded our expectations and made getting new phones easy and there were no hidden charges. By far the best experience either of us have had at a phone store. We will definitely make the drive to Middleton to see Matthew anytime we need anything!!

Ava was great, knowledgeable and didnt try to push anything on us that she felt we didnt need. Got setup with a note 9 and have been very happy with it. The screen protector bubbled up a couple days after getting the phone but she personally assured me that it could be fixed next time were in the Madison area and even informed her co workers that wed be by to get it done! Ive had many bad experiences in Verizon stores and this one specifically was amazing compared!

Absolutely abominable service. Came in with an urgent account problem that needed to be resolved before we left country in two days; told staff this. Instead got to watch them help no fewer than four people who came in after us by aggressively selling them accessories, cases and screen protectors. Was at first told they wouldnt help at all, then that we had to wait indefinitely, because apparently we werent a priority.Will never, ever go back.

After a poor experience at the Z Wireless on Mineral Point, we enjoyed absolutely perfect service from Ryan. We made the switch from T-Mobile and Ryan provided knowledgeable recommendations on our phones as well as our data package. Ryans expertise allowed us to pay the same amount for more data and Ryan patiently waited as we transferred over our contacts. The rest of the Verizon staff was friendly and helpful as well. Major kudos to Ryan and the rest of the Middleton Verizon staff. Thank you.

Called to inquire about a Moto z2 Force promotion... They wanted to talk about other promotions... I guess they were not listening... long story short... they are not able to match the special Motorola promotion... oh well... you lose... Honestly, not a fan of Verizon in general, so many places they SAY they have service, that is complete BS for data. At my home the Verizon service is not a sure thing, it is hit and miss. To me it too much of a lie. But other companies are not immune from the same lies. This is why I will not use the same service for me and the wife, better to have different carriers to improve your chances of something working!

We live on the boonies, literally. Cell reception is poor at best. I did a bunch of reading online about the best phone to get. iPhones dont work out here, all of our kids have them, and complain about poor reception. We have 3 phones in our household, Samsung 8, LG, and a Motorola. Motorola hands down is the best receiving phone in the boonies. It doesnt have all the glamorous stuff most people want, but I dont care, it works out here. The gentleman at Verizon I talked to, said that by far is the best phone for your area. Between his input, and reading online, yes it is the best choice. Great bunch of people there.

I tried to switch to Verizon and bring my old phone, but the saleswoman said my phone wasnt eligible for transfer and proceeded to pressure me into buying a brand new iPhone. Luckily I went home and did my own research on the Verizon website, only to find out that not only was my phone eligible for transfer, but that there was a $250 Mastercard gift card promotion going on for new customers who bring their own device. Ridiculous. I promptly went to the Fitchburg location, where their salesman was MUCH more helpful and respectful.

Staff are usually very helpful, though sometimes there can be a long wait. They carry a wide variety of phones but only have phone cases for some phones. It was hard to find cases for both galaxy phones I have had, but they seem to have a plethora of Iphone cases available in store.

In & out of there in no time at all. New phone. All my contacts, messages, photos, vids were transferred perfectly to my new phone and the guys who work there are kind and knowledgeable. So happy that I went to Deming Way (over an hour away from my local Verizon store). It was totally worth it. Big thanks to Jason at Verizon for all of the help - I am a technology fool. :)

Well, dont bother calling the number above. They dont pick up and have no local answering service. After listening to a few ads and then pressing 4 and then 9 and then 6 and 3 and all manner of other numbers, and then telling a computer your reason for calling, your call goes straight to a call center somewhere else. As a new customer calling about switching from AT&T and available devices, this is an inauspicious beginning.

This guy is a piece of work!Worst choice ever! STAY AWAY!!! We ordered a phone online and the only place that had the model for us to pick up was really far from us (Mckee Road in Fitchburg), but we figured wed drive over there anyways. I left my debit card at home and when we went to pick up the phone, the guy said he could not give us the phone without showing him the credit card I used. I had 10 different articles of ID and my card is on my phone under Apple Pay. He offered not options, would not accept the Apple Pay as confirmation, and just said I need to drive all the way home to get it or call Verizon. That adds another hour and a half trip for us. We ended up calling Verizon and they said that this location in Middleton has the phone so we stopped in there on our way home. We met Ava and she was amazing, she immediately took action with a great smile and canceled our online order and re-wrote it in the store so I could use another card and walk out with a phone. She was super friendly and helpful. She even texted me a few days later telling me the order that we canceled, did in fact drop off our account. Thanks Ava, you are the best! I will never go to the Fitchburg location again......

My mother just went to the Verizon store in Middleton, WI. She called me at work in tears because the associate was so rude to her. Her phone froze and instead of trying to be helpful, he berated her over and over again for not backing up her pictures (mom didnt want to lose pictures of her granddaughter). Its sad that Verizon hires such a poor quality of people.

This store continues to be chronically understaffed -- there is always a long wait. This time, I tried to decrease my wait by making an appointment online, and still waited 30 minutes to be helped with the simple purchase of a new device. When I was finally helped -- after two walk-ins went ahead of me -- Craig, the greeter, claimed I never said I had an appointment. Completely untrue. I said that clearly, he just wasnt listening. Besides, he called up our account, and the appointment should have appeared there. He was also extremely rude and argumentative. Definitely thinking about how to extricate our family account from Verizon -- or at least making a longer drive to a different store.

Purchased a new phone and iPad from this location. Within a week of purchase, the screen saver that Verizon installed on my phone popped off. I went back in today and they said I could only work through the manufacterer, that they only install the protectors as a courtesy (were really not supposed to do it anyway) and they wouldnt help me. I have now requested a new screen from the manufacturer and had to pay $6 for shipping on the new product. Very unhappy.

Edit: My original review still stands. It took almost a year and half to get the issue fixed. The current manager admitted that the error was on the sales person and when I showed them the business card of the sales person I could tell there was a reason that person doesnt work there anymore.Ultimately, the wrong was fixed, but it took almost 18 months of phone calls (corporate office), multiple visits to the store (one visit lost my military discount on the account, another visit was supposed to lower my monthly bill ~$20 and instead it increased it ~$30), many hours searching for the original paperwork, and finally (once I found the original paperwork) a visit to multiple locations (wasnt aware the store moved across town) to resolve the issue.The sales person in question doesnt work their anymore, and I had a relatively good experience with the current employees so I changed my review from 1 star to 2 stars.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Crooked salesmen. Promise one thing and then get the bill and its completely different than what I was expecting. Spent the last 6 months trying to get my bill straighten out and every time it just gets a little worse.

Unreliable and impossible to deal with.Despite the fact that their in-store account notes specifically authorized me for full account access, they tell me that they need to have the account owner come into the store. Be warned, they will just throw stuff in your bag without asking if you need it and then they wont accept returns with the receipt in hand because it was on a certain day of the week or likely out of pure laziness.
