Had 2 random accidents from flying rocks within a week…..they had my replacement parts within a day or two and scheduled. While I live some 45 miles away from the location that did my repairs in Midland Texas on Big Spring Street they did their best to get this all done in a timely manner seeing I was having to wait in their waiting room while work was being done. They had a very clean waiting area and their restrooms were spotless. Called about 10 am, I spoke with Kesha, she was very helpful, I told her we needed help with two things. We needed a Windshield for our F250 truck and my Explorer had a chip in the Windshield. She said they would be able to give same day service for both. It was 40 for the chip repair(which only took 15 mins) and 370.00 for the new Windshield. We would have our truck ready that afternoon. My wife and I had each picked up a rock chip in our windshields and we have been intending to get them fixed for awhile. Today, we bit the bullet and took both cars to West Texas Windshields.I arrived at about 1:00 and my wife trailed behind by 10 or 15 minutes. By 2:00 we were done. The wait was pleasant; there’s a retro arcade video game in the corner and I renewed my acquaintance with Ms. Pac-man.The waiting area was cool, comfortable, and quiet, with a little music in the background. I finished my latest book and doomscrolled on my iPhone while waiting for my vehicle.The chips were repaired quickly, the staff was pleasant, and the cost was reasonable - $49 per vehicles. I had a rock chip, called my insurance, was told to go through a bigger company, said company did not have a spot available until a week from now. Asked for somewhere local, West Tx Windshields was mentioned. I was told to get the phone number once I was there so the insurance could send over the work order. I arrived there, my truck went right in. I called the insurance while in the waiting area, very clean by the way, insurance told me that an inspector had to come see my vehicle first. I told the lady at the reception area that I would need my truck back, the gentleman in the work area was already working on it. Lady in the front said, just dont worry about it, well take care of it for you. HOW AWESOME AND UNDERSTANDING IS THAT?!

Polite front office staff got us a quote in minutes. We put down a fifty dollar deposit and our new windshield came in the next day. Had an appointment for install at 11 am and the job was done by 1145. The new window looks great, identical to the one it replaced. As long as it doesnt leak this was the best experience I could have asked for. Total price for front windshield was 362. I couldnt be happier at this point.

My windshield got cracked in hailstorm they replaced it very quickly. We had an issue with my rear view mirror and they were very professional on fixing this issue. This is my second review of West Texas Windshields. The first review was something less than complementary. They must have had an off day when I was In last. Today I brought my Toyota pick up in and had an excellent experience. The windshield was replaced professionally and in a timely manner. All my stickers were transferred and properly installed and the new windshield was spotless. I could not have had a better experience.

The installing of my windshield was quick and the guy who did the installation was great, but thats where the good service stopped! Although the lady that we paid out with was friendly enough, all we were told was not to take the blue tape off for 24 hours and to not power wash the windshield for 3 weeks (that was it). They clearly had our address and info and saw that we llived 50 miles away, but no additional warnings or info was provided about windshield care for the new installation. On the way home, the windshield broke loose from its seal, broke the tape and started leaking air. My husband was in another vehicle in front of me and we pulled over and he was able to duct tape the windshield back in place so we could continue home, as we were only 10 miles away. Back on the Interstate, the windshiel again broke the tape and was leaking air. We could not contact West Texas Windshileds at this time because they had already closed, so my husband called them as soon as they opened the next morning, which was a Saturday. He was told to take the tape off at noon (which would have been over 4 hours too soon, as they had said to leave it on for 24 hours) and they were sure it would be fine, but if it wasnt they would come to my job in Odessa on that following Monday and reinstall the windshield then. This was not exceptable as far as I was concerned as it rendered my Jeep unusable for the weekend (because I had to leave it sitting in the garage so the windshield could try and seal and we also left the tape on the entire weekend and did not take it off until late Sunday evening) and if the windshield did not seal, they were expecting me to drive 65 miles to work, in pre-dawn early morning interstate traffic with a windshield that was not sealed and leaking air! Not cool at all!!!! Lucky for me, somehow the duct tape worked and the windshield sealed, for the most part (still leaks some air but I have a ragtop Jeep so I just deal with it, even though I shouldnt have to)!!! I found out after the fact, that you shouldnt drive over 65 mph or do any sudden accelerations (both of which I did after my installation because they did not warn me not to) and thats what caused the problems with my windshield sealing. I guess if its not their $300 they really do not care if the windshield gets a proper seal or not!

You call in advance and set up an appointment and theyll call you a day or so in advance to remind you. Theyre pretty quick getting the trucks in and out. No need to go anywhere else for a replacement windshield

My windshield and back glass in my Tundra were destroyed in the Great Odessa Hail Storm of 2017. They got me in the very next day with both windows in stock. They were super busy and got me in and out within a reasonable time. I have used their shops in both Odessa and now Midland, never had any issues. Thank you so much guys!

I wish I could give West Texas Windshields a better rating because everyone there was so friendly. However, that about all the good I can honestly say about them. Ive had many windshields replaced over the years and this replacement was the worst. Every other windshield Ive had replaced was cleaned before returning the car. Not this one. It was very dirty and badly smeared inside and out. They threw away my TexTag Sticker and my oil change sticker with the old windshield. My windshield washers werent reconnected and a piece of trim was left loose. The poor quality of work is especially galling given that I was told it would take 5 or six hours to replace the windshield because they wanted to be sure it was done correctly. Needless to say, I wont go back. There are other windshield replacement companies. Im also going to complain to my insurance company.

Very unorganized, ordered wrong window even though they had quote in front of them, took over hour to get new window, kid working on vehicle drained battery by leaving key on for four hours, which is how long it took to do this 45 min job, I had to pull in bay to jump start because he didnt know how. Not a single apology or sorry for the wait or trouble. Id a figured at least a small discount for the horrible service.

Bad Service, this place doesnt even deserve 1 star had to give it one to comment. I made an appointment for 8am, the day before. I showed up at 8 on the dot, to find out they didnt have my glass we all have a schedule to follow well that went to hell fast. At 9am I stood up and kindly asked when will someone get started on my truck, then they say oh we had to order your glass. At 9:30 they sent someone out to remove one glass the I stood up again and I guess the manager Jose lies to my face and says the almost done with your truck the glass was not even at the shop till almost 10am I kept quiet not to disturb the other customers. The right thing to do was to tell me sir wer dont have your glasses but lets set you up for 10 we should have it by then, we would not be here now. I was recommended to this place by a friend, I normally use Flores auto glass great shop a little high but willing to pay for awesome service.I hope the owner finds someone to run that shop a hand came in to let him know they were out of certain things and he just said Ill check if I ordered it with an attitude. If you dont like your job find somewhere else to go.I want to acknowledge the owner and say it means alot to me for a business owner to take the time to call and address the issue with a person. The call I received from this person says alot about how much he cares about his business.

You get what you pay for. Decent service till after I paid my bill. Had to go back once to get a leak fixed that took a couple weeks to get an appointment. Then when they destroyed my window tint nobody really wanted to cover the damage they did. They acted like they wanted to pay but nobody wanted to follow through. So now I have to clean windshield adhesive off my interior and pay for another $220 tint job that was destroyed fixing the water leak. All Im saying is if youre looking for a quality job and somebody to stand behind the work you might want to keep looking because this aint it.

I brought my vechile in for windshield replacement, it was installed with in thirty minutes which was great. I noticed that my dboard vent was broken, I went to the office to confront them about my damaged and Ben Avary refused to come speak to me.The owner never came out and also placed on the inspection it was broken prior to my visit. There was no damage to my dash board.I just want the public to be aware of dishonest business such as this one. I was left with 200.00 dollars of damages. Be very careful of the Big Springs location. The owner of this location once again stated the untruth to save face, I had never been to this location or any other and Did not be escorted. I suggested for them to call the law. You can state what you wish, I just want the public to be aware of this location.L

Have been using WTW for well over a decade and have always experienced friendly people and quality work. If it has glass on or in it, they can do it. It is obvious that they take pride in what they do.

I needed my windshield replaced by the weekend because I was selling my car but they had no free appointments. They let me bring it in early and squeezed it in between appointments. As far as I can tell they did a great job!

I have used West Texas Windshield twice and both times my experience with them was less than par. The front desk girl is very helpful and professional but their technicians are less than desirable. The 1st time I used them, the tech installed my windshield wipers incorrectly and it took them 4 days later to come fix them. Then the 2nd job my back window was shattered and they installed the new one at their shop and failed to clean all of the broken glass, work rags etc from the bed of my truck. When I called them to fix it, they told me I had 15 mins to get back across town before they closed. To me, I would stay late to fix it and make it right. I would not recommend these guys based on their poor work.

We had the windshield replaced on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma by Safelite of Midland. The technician performed one of the worst and most time consuming repairs of any type I ever seen. The VIN plate on the vehicle was bent and pushed out of place, both windshield wipers were loose, and the passenger side wiper no longer worked, there was sealant all around the window both on the painted body and interior of the vehicle, there were bulges and bubbles in the window trim, and the window itself was not fully sealed. The repair was so bad in fact that we went with West Texas Windshields to repair it instead of letting Safelite near our vehicle again.West Texas Windshields does excellent work, and they were able to completely repair to 100% satisfaction everything Safelite nearly ruined.
