The staff is absolutely wonderful except for the fact that they look at me funny when I request something as if I donβt know what Iβm talking about. I even got asked one time if I was sure that was the part I needed specifically when I gave them the part number I wrote down off the part itself. Low and behold I was right when I switched parts out. Guess women can and do fix things on their own. π€£π€£π€£
Sold me wrong filter then asked me to pay more for their mistake.Bought a filter on a Friday. Went to do my oil change on Sunday only to find it was the wrong filter.Returned to the store and they told me I would have to pay extra for the correct filter because the one they mistakenly sold me was part of the oil change bundle??The customer service has one job. Enter the year make and model then pull the correct part. Cant even do that...Offered no discount or apology for their wrongdoing.Goodbye AutoZone. Hello OReliys.
Not ones who normally post bad reviews but the quality of service this afternoon was very poor.Needed some assistance for tail light bulbs and needed help figuring out which bulbs we needed because we didnt have the originals. It was like the two men up front werent willing to help without the original bulbs.Oreileys down the road were helpful.
Battery pack was $70 on the shelf, which is already ridiculous, rang up for $120 and the excuse was were in the process of relabeling the inventory prices.. $50 mark up from the last time prices were put up?
I have frequented here a few times and not once has anyone ever greeted me when I walked in the store nor offered any kind of help. The last time I went was because it was my only choice but that ended it for me when as I walked in the two employees made eye contact yet didnt utter a single word to me even though I spoke to them.

Very slow counter. As compared to other auto parts stores; Auto Zone seems to put customers in line second to whatever they are doing. I could be wrong but every time I enter this particular store, I spend more time in line than finding what I need. Twilight Zone strange.They set up a COVID strategy but dont follow it. So if you get in the COVID line, rest assured they wont take the next person in line; rather just pick the next person that walks up into their face. Tells me they dont pay attention to detail.Update 3/15/21 Just walked out. Left basket on the floor because there were 7 people waiting for 5+ minutes, movement, one guy at the counter and the manager sitting on their but not paying attention.
I always shop at auto zone for my car parts unless, they dont have the part I need. The only thing I dont like is, theres always only two sales reps and they take forever. I been there when theres 4 reps and its the same thing. Theyre doing other things instead of taking care of there customers. Other than that, its been my go to parts place for years.
20210324 - I arrived this morning to have my check engine light diagnosed and found it to be the canister purge valve.This has been the cause of the light coming on two other times in the last week, and I had previously purchased a replacement purge valve. However, when I first looked at the part, I found that one of the vacumn hoses had detached and Ineeded to confirm that the purge valve did in fact need to be replaced. It took several days since the last check engine light but when it came on again this time, I did the OB2 tester thing and again it reported that the purge valve was the cause of the light.So, while there parked in front of the auto parts store, I installed the new purve valve.Too, I thanked the clerks at the store and then headed for my breakfast at the Cracker Barrel.
Purchased a battery from their odessa location. Their manager helped me and warrantied it out . Cold weather killed it. I dont drive the car much so i just got around to taking it to get this taken care of. Well i go to the midland location and they dont do anything to help me. I mean pro rate or something but nope they said theres nothing they can do for me. Worst service ever. Your supposed to help your customer anyway you can. Ive been in customer service for years and for them to just tell me straight out they cant do anythingfor me is sad. I Ive purchased a lot of items for my car from them but Ill take my business to OReilly from now on.

The woman that works here is extremely rude. I sent my daughter to the store twice, because I was working. I sent her once to get the code read for her check engine light. The woman was rude, just tossed the machine at her so she could read the code. She figured it out, got the code read. The woman gave her the paper didnβt explain anything and she came home. In other instances I have had employees explain the code and suggest further maintenance tips. I called the store spoke to a man who told me to have my daughter go back and get the light reset. The code that was showing was typically from the gas cap..... the next day she went to get it reset. A man helped her, asked the woman if he could reset it. She said no. No explanation just refused. I have been using Auto zone for years..... however, you donβt mistreat my family..... OβRileys it is from now on.
Well col days ago off sadly in Midland I purchased alternator for my son and it wasnt the right one and told m.h e thats only one they carried for that car and no other Autozone has a different one. πSo Im still needing an alternator
The guy tried to sell me a battery, after failing to perform a test on my battery. He told me, more than likely it needs a battery. I went to OReillys and the battery tested fine.

So my dad and I went to return some wipers but we didnβt have the receipt. So we enter the store and this white lady says if we have a receipt and I said no. So she goes to the computer and she was giving me attitude, and I havenβt even said anything to make her mad. So when she steps out on to the floor and tells us that we should get these, but my dad told her that these wonβt fit because something that the truck has and they wonβt latch in. So she said to us that; Alright, why donβt you guys go and find the ones you want, and she pointed us the direction with the wipers in her hands. To make matters worse she almost hit me with it I was so shocked never in my life have we ever experienced that kind of behavior. Then she goes and tells the manager that we got the wrong ones and why didnβt we get the right ones. I donβt think Iβll ever be back to this store.
Staff was not helpful. Said the item wanted was on 4 and then it was on 5 and when asked if they had a different size was told if its not on the shelf we dont have it. No offer to try to get it. And then made rude comments in front of other customers as I was leaving. I told them they had a smart mouth and I would not be back. I was told that would be fine.

Had to go twice on one day. First guy was rude and unprofessional. Thought heβs just having a bad day so no big deal. Had to go back for more things. Different guy checking out. Again they were being rude and unprofessional to the customer in front of me. Decided to put things back and went down the street to O Reillyβs.

Polite and helpful staff that went out of their way to help me find a decal. I never found one I liked but he was never pushy or overbearing. The place is neat and clean although a bit small.

Walked in early first off they asked if I needed anything pretty attentive. Went and grabbed a few items and went to go pay literally 4 workers all standing around talking to a man who wasnt buying anything just asking for directions to a mechanic shop... I stood for a couple minutes finally someone asks me if Im ready I tell him yes.. go to check out he tells me he doesnt have change.. so i spent all that time in the store walking around getting my items and for them to tell me they dont have change then why be open..

He was very experienced in the part I wanted. He gave me options and details of the differences between them. This allowed me to give an informed decision.
Never using this autozone again, went to check out and two employees were standing around talking to a woman that was not buying anything. We were standing in line to buy $50 of car cleaning products and neither employee acknowledged us. Finally my husband asked if one of the employees could check us out and the blonde female employee looked annoyed that we asked to be helped. Will not use autozone again, will just buy these products from Amazon next time.
