Routine oil change & tire rotation. Also checked brakes. Service is done much faster than I thought with a good quality. I really like their transparency with live cam + detailed report with pictures. You can see clear that they indeed carefully checked ur car and tell u it’s conditions. Will go back again next time.

As stress-free as getting your Audi maintained can be. 😓 Went in for a 30k refresh and everything went ok. Jonathan helped me at the front desk . Great customer service and professional .Would’ve gotten 4 Stars but two things got me.1)They forgot to check my tire pressures.The morning after my tire pressure light went off the very first time of owning the car . All 4 tires were at 28-29 psi. So I had to stop at the gas station and fill them up to spec. 35 psi.2) The price!( Keep in mind I have and Audi so prices are different for other cars)., in addition to the 30k refresh I was advised to change my brakes and rotors which would be an additional charge of $2,000+ and that was stressful to hear. I held off on that to do some canvassing and so far I’ve found a place that will do rotors and brakes for $1000+. ( doing more research on parts being used)All in all great place for quality and customer service . They provided updates with pictures of your cars progress online and that was pretty cool. But if you are on a budget do more research. If you got the money this place is good!-Oil change with filter.-brake fluids flushed and refilled-coolant flushed and refilled.-tires computer aligned and rotated-engine air filter replaced

Went there for getting my Audi A4 checked. They did a very good job in thoroughly inspecting for the issue and diagnosing it. They went over the inspection report( which contains pictures, never seen that before ! ) in detail and made sure I understood the issue. No overcharging and they did exactly what was needed for the fix without unnecessary repairs.

Stress-Free Auto Care checked out a slow leak in a tire and discovered that the leak was due to the rim, rather than the tire. Since they couldnt fix the leak, they refused to charge me (even though theyd spent time diagnosing the issue). They were prompt and professional throughout, and I will use their services again.

I went here yesterday to get some maintenance done on the 2010 Lexus IS250 that we’ve had since new. A lot of the fluids needed changing (brake fluid change, radiator flush and fill, engine and rear differential oil change). Jonathan and team are fast and professional. He told me the things that needed doing and let me decide if there were maintenance items that could be temporarily deferred. The brake fluid might have never been changed, so it was overdue (they took a pic of the reservoir which showed the fluid, it was pretty nasty), and my wife says the brakes feel more responsive. Very happy with this place and we’ll be back!

When i showed up for a 10k mile service the first guy didnt check my oil and then they called me and told me that and it had to stay way longer, when i got it back and left the next morning for Nevada my low tire pressure light popped on and i had to go check them, ALL tires had low pressure. For something so simple im really unimpressed with their work, i literally could of done a better job myself if i had the time, wont be returning.

I went to get my tire replaced and they said the tire pressure light would turn off afterwards but it never did.

I called them at 1:30 to schedule an oil change. Very nice and thorough Customer Service person. Not only were they able to schedule me for same day service, but the price that they quoted was much less than the dealership.The surprises kept coming as once I arrived and checked in, I received text messages throughout the service process. I also received at free service maintenance report by email that detailed what I might need serviced complete with pictures!Needless to say, I will use their services again. I really liked the fully automated interaction: set up the appointment online, email/text feedback when your car gets serviced, updates with photos showing all diagnostics, and quick notification when the work is complete. Theyre also super responsive to phone calls as well, and my whole experience was a breeze.The work was done well, on time, and at the stated price (with a small discount due to some work being less than what was expected).I would recommend this shop.

Technician was really nice. I brought my car in because it wouldn’t start. Then it miraculously started when at this shop. Technician checked whether it started a couple of times (which it did) and then topped off the oil. I was charged $90 which seemed hefty for what was done...but atleast everything was very professional.

I had never ever been to a Auto Care Shop that is so professional, honest and efficient. I went to a Ford Dealership for a regular oil change service and the dealership told me to replace tires, rear brake pads, transmission fluid flush and brake oil flush. Usually I would pick a private shop to do the major work because the price is more competitive than a dealership. I am new in the area so I totally depend on the Google reviews here. I picked Stress-Free and went there for my questions. Chris greeted me and explained to me in details what is necessary and what is not. I scheduled an appointment and brought my vehicle in the next day. Chris quickly jacked my vehicle up for a check and told me honestly that my rear brake pads were worn out but can still last a few months but my tires needed to be replaced soon. I chose to perform the repair later and he quickly put everything back together and returned me the key with NO CHARGE. I was surprised and shocked because he spent almost an hour to do the thorough check and top off my fluids as additions and I did not owe him a thing? He replied that it is just a check and no service was performed. At the night, a detailed inspection report with clear photos were sent to my email inbox and everything was well explained and well documented. From that point, Stress-Free earns a new loyal customer until I move out of the bay area. This place is really stress free. Great staff, great service, great honesty.

The team here is the best! I had an issue with my BMW and was recommended to visit this location. My starter motor had failed on my Honda CRV. We called Stress-Free Auto Care to make sure we could have my car delivered to them on a flatbed truck and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The replacement job was done quickly and most efficiently along with a full diagnostic and an extremely clear report of what will need working on in the future. There was no hard sell that anything needed work now, just advice for down the line. I was particularly impressed with that. I genuinely found the whole transaction as stress free as the business name suggests and will definitely be recommending them and using their services again.

Jonathan was able to provide a reasonable estimate over the phone (in fact, he emailed a PDF. Drop off and pick up was easy. Pretty much sign the work auth and hand in the key. During the service they first emailed the inspection report with photos of issues found. They then emailed actual work quote which I was able to authorize and they started the work. All of this communication happened over SMS, which was new to me, but I did actually quite like that. The shop has a web cam that you can use to watch your car during service. As for pricing, I called a few other shops and the actual dealer for my BMW and while the dealer wanted quite a bit more for this job other shops more or less were in the ballpark, so that suggests that the pricing was reasonable as well.In general, as they say, Id recommend this place to a friend or a trusted colleague :D

I was looking around to patch up my tire and have my wheels aligned. I saw this place and decided why not? It was a 2 minute drive there and a 5-8 minute walk from that place to my house. The general feel of the place is nice and you get pictures about the progress of your car and seeing the repairs they make on it. This is my first visit and I will definitely come back if theres something else wrong with my car. Absolutely wonderful team they have there!

This was my very first visit to Stress Free Auto Care in Milpitas and I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to check out services, get prices, and book an appointment online without any hassle. I was already impressed with the online appointment process and even more so when I dropped my car off. The office/waiting area was very clean and the employees were very professional and personable. But wait, it gets better. After dropping my car off I got a text message saying my car was checked in and linked me to a page where I could monitor the various progression steps of the service. There was even a link to a shop cam where you can see them servicing your vehicle! Overall, a fantastic experience. I will definitely be taking my autos here in the future.

I was having something repaired on my Jeep at a car dealership and told them not to touch anything else that wasn’t covered under warranty So I could go back to Stress-Free Auto Care to have them repair it because I trust them. I came here to get my sisters car fixed. She is currently in school and close to finishing school so i was really concerned the vehicle was going to bum out and leave her stranded.. The car was very leaky, the brake light was out, and the engine light was on. We arrived at the shop and noticed it was very clean and had hand sanitizer and the staff were wearing masks. We told Chris what was going on and he told us he would run a diagnostic and let us know what they found. About an hour after we left he told me it exactly where it was leaking and what was causing the check engine light and we agreed to get the work done but they needed a day to get the part for the engine light repair. We were able to come the next day and pick up her car with the brake light fixed, oil leak stopped and engine light off. We also got spark plugs replaced and oil change per request from us. The service was very fast yet smooth, we were updated every step of the way and we left happy knowing that her car was running so much better and they even cleaned up the engine compartment very good. These guys do a very good job and if you want work on your car done right and taken care of then this is where you go.

This place is fantastic. I had to get towed here from Yosemite due to some car trouble and they were nothing short of amazing. Chris was super helpful in keeping us updated about the progress and the issues with the car. The loaner car made it that much easier to be without my car for a 1.5 days. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a car mechanic, and I will be making this business my primary stop for anything car related.My car broke down in Milpitas Great mall and I needed to tow my car to a shop within the area. After looking at the reviews, I decided on this place. It was late at night and I needed an option. It was the best choice I made.Despite arriving 20 minutes past closing, the owner/manager took us in and checked our car in. He even gave my wife, her mom, and I a ride to the nearest train! I was extremely impressed.After fixing my car, we discovered a problem. However, I called stress free auto and they offered to tow my car back and fix it for free! They fixed the car which just needed a replaced cable and starter, and now it works perfectly.These guys are honest, fair, and helpful. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

They tried to rip me off.No doubt the mechanics are professionals. Doesnt mean you quote an arm and a leg to fix things.There was a loud sound from my engine, which they diagnosed (correctly) coming from the water pump. They advised me to change the water pump and timing belt and seals. So far so good.They quoted me $258 for the parts and about $700/800 for labor.I got it replaced with OEM parts at a different location for $550 total. This second place is highly rated too.The people in stress free are professionals and charming but the price they quoted me was nearly double from what I got it done.Their diagnosis was spot on though. And made me a great diagnosis report which was amazing. 2 stars for that. Taking 3 stars away for ridiculously high quote.

Amazing service! As their name suggests, the experience was totally stress free.I went with my old Miata to them.. I had updates with photos on each part they tested during the complete check up. Their transmission oil leak issue identification and fix was fast and my car now runs totally fine!

Chris helped me out with my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee on fixing my radiator and AC needing to be replaced. Chris was very professional/helpful in all my repairs and lending me a car out to get back home while mine was in the shop. Would absolutely go back if needing any further repairs for my car.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I like the fact that it had no line when I came and text update about the procedure. However, Im not so sure about honesty of this place. My suggestions for you is to ask about the options before they put the part in, ask about the price and warranty, I wasnt given the option, ended up switching to the one I like. In general, they tried their best to make customers happy but giving me free upgrade. Just make sure you communicate with them well.

Im a bit conflicted about this place. The tl;dr is: no masks, they get the job done, but the cost and some practices were questionable. First thing I see when I walk in is the manager is bare faced behind the front desk. IDK if you know, but theres a raging pandemic going on. Oops, already not a stress free experience. Its funny, cause when you name your business like that, customers become hyper aware of whether or not it is true. Whatever. Im not hanging around. Please just fix my car. I dropped my keys off and let them get to work. They told me they would call me with an update. I got a text message update a few minutes after drop off that a tech was checking out my car. But after that, I did not hear from them for hours. I thought I was getting an update? I ended up having to call them maybe an hour before closing to ask for an update, and I got the good ol oh, I was about to call you. Were you, though? Turns out they figured out what was wrong with my car AND they fixed my car by replacing the battery. Great! I was expecting a call before you guys started the repair, though. I probably wouldve proceeded with the repair, but still. Total cost came out to just under $600 for the service and to replace the battery. This was after the $90 discount they randomly just gave me. So It wouldve been closer to $700. Hmm...seems a bit high. My dad told me I got ripped off, and after doing a bit of research, I dont think hes wrong. Upon inspection of the receipt, they charged me $350 for a battery that I could easily find locally for $200 at AutoZone. And even lower at other retailers. For the life of me I couldnt even find the same type of battery for $350 anywhere. Well, I guess except for Stress-Free Auto Care, haha. Its too bad too, because I was trying to prove a point to my dad that I shouldnt take the car to the dealer like he wanted me to because they tend to overcharge. He lectured me afterwards about how I should take this as a learning experience...*eye roll*. OK thanks. No need to rub it in. Im still sure the dealer would also have ripped us off. Its really hard to not think that they tried to take me for a ride (pun intended) because Im clearly clueless about cars. Also, no mask when I came for pick up either. On the bright side, the car works fine now. All issues resolved. Im glad most of the other reviewers had a good experience here. Thats why I decided to come here. Unfortunately, Ill have to continue to search for an auto shop that I feel like I can trust.

I had some universal joints making a lot of noise that scared me after a 250 mile trip from Redding to the Bay Area. I found this company on Yelp and it said they were in the top 10 I believe rated number one. My experience with them was awesome theyre professional trustworthy and they got the job done in a timely manner and got me back on the road. Anybody that works hundreds of miles from home would appreciate a place like this and the price was fair. I would recommend them to anybody in the Milpitas area that has any problems with their vehicle. I may come down and have them do more work even if Im not working here.

After they worked on my car, I took it for an oil change, and noticed a knife gash on my CV axle boot that wasnt there before. The CV axle is only 7 months old. Now I have grease splattering all over my exhaust and smoking bad. And its also funny how my car has NEVER had a coolant leak either, BEFORE OR AFTER the service, but yet in the inspection report, there is pictures of a leak. Kiss my taillights goodbye cause yall are scamming. Expect a BBB report soon.

I’ve never been excited about having someone watch me work (now retired) but having the nest camera set up so you can see the inside of the shop while they are working on your car is pretty cool also the pictures they sent me of the things they inspected on my car was great . A/C issue was a rabbit hole. They chased it down and stood by their work. They weren’t satisfied until the customer was satisfied.

Went there for oil change, as I found it open on Sunday on yelp. I liked their multi point inspection with photos, just like dealerships do these days. Liked their coffee, unlike Folgers coffee served at other places. Clean place to hang out in the front, with lots of charging cables. Highly recommend.

Customer service was good. I thought the repair cost were Fair.

They handled compressing a strut for me and actually ordering and installing new front shocks. They also done a oil change. All the work done in a day. Emailed and texted me when the job was done. They also looked over the truck for issues, which I didn’t ask and provided a report. They did see my brake fluid was darker than it should be and they are correct. Given my experience fixing and maintaining cars, they did a pretty good job. The work was good and satisfactory to me.The cost of the service I think is fair considering the Bay Area is expensive. If you want a good job done on your car you pay for it. If you pay the cheap price, like Firestone training center around the corner, good luck with that.

I was rather impressed with Stress Free the first time I visited for an oil change. The lobby is very clean, the employees friendly and professional, and the notification technology they use to keep you updated quite modern. The second time I visited, I was a bit shocked what I paid for a partial brake job and fuel injection cleaning. The most recent time I took my vehicle in for an estimate for the power steering making noises I was shocked again. They wanted to replace all the major parts of the steering for a total of about $3,600. They also presented me with a laundry list of other items they said needed fixing for a total of about $4,500. This doesnt seem totally on the up and up. I ended up paying $170 for a diagnosis without getting my vehicle repaired. You may want to get a second opinion before spending major money getting your car serviced here.

I took my 2016 Toyota Camry to be serviced for a check-up. Chris called me at noon and gave me an update. I told him I needed it by the end of the day for an event on Saturday. He promised me it would be done and it was by 4:30. I am very pleased. I will be taking my Camry to Auto Care Specialists in the future. She runs great!

I’m from Southern Cali and my AC compressor stop working and I was leaving the car with my daughter (a 2nd year college student). They really made us feel like part of their family. I had to fly back to Southern Cali before the repair work got started. They did a great job and really took care of my daughter to get her back on the road.

Had problem with brakes. The car’s brakes are now super smooth and I am very happy. The best part about the service was the quick turn around time during vehicle inspection and the 3 yeah/36k mike warranty.

First time has my car service at Auto Care Specialists. Making appointment online is easy like 123 and my service advisor Brandon Anderson. He’s nice and professional. One thing I like in this shop is they have the live webcam to check on car during the service in the shop.

As the name says, the whole process was stress free. I went in just for a oil change but the experience was great, will be going back!

When I acquired my new-to-me used truck, I wanted a knowledgeable and trustworthy opinion on its condition and what was necessary to replace. Auto Care Specialists had some of the best reviews in the area, so I made the 15 mile trek to ensure my vehicle was in good hands. The Customer service was transparent, relaxed, overall excellent.After dropping the vehicle off, I got a call from Jason the same day detailing the Must-dos, the minor issues, and things that may come up in the future.When I got the vehicle back after only 2 days( fairly extensive job) I was simply content. I knew the work done was high quality, and have peace of mind that my truck will easily go another 100,000 miles with upkeep. preferably done by Jason and his team.Coming from someone who prefers to do as much of their own maintenance as possible, I fully trust this team.I recommend Auto care specialists to anyone wanting high quality service for their vehicle.You pay for the quality, but the work speaks for itself.

Great experience. The level of detail with which they explained my vehicle to me was fantastic (and, they didnt try to upsell me at all during the whole service - theyre honest on recommendations). In addition to that, I got constant updates on my vehicle so I knew what was happening the whole time, and a digital inspection with some pictures of the stuff in good condition. I thought the steering wheel and seat covers to keep my car clean were a nice touch, too.Its not the cheapest place available, but they more than make up for it by not overselling you and making the experience much more pleasant.
