Its an adventure to explore this store. It carries food not found in normal U.S. grocery stores. Its sights and smells remind me of stores and shops in China and Thailand. The store has a bit of a warehouse vibe. Do you have an Asian recipe to buy for? Pacific Produce is the place to find the ingredients. The store has ample parking.

Cant believe how bad the store really is. It smells terrible because theres rotten expired meat and The BASIC maintenance is lacking. The owner also feels entitled to illegally park his big luxury SUV in front of the store. Just want to go up to him and ask if I can park my car in front of the store like he does. My girlfriend who is Malaysian 100% agrees with me that Vietnamese people are the lowest life form of greedy classless slobs in the history of Asian culture. Hope this place goes out of business.

I used to like this place to get authentic ingredients and really good frozen dim sum. Now the place is half stocked, the floors by the freezer cases are wet. The frozen food case was more than half empty. The staff doesnt seem to care. Done spending my money there, I will find other sources for my needs.

The store needs updates or remodeling badly. The fresh vegetables are great. But there are items that are overpriced. Like the canned rambutan. I guess the cheaper price items to make up for it I dont know. I just wish they would make it like Argyle prices.

This market has all the asian cooking ingredients that you can not find anywhere else in town. They have a huge inventory and butcher meat and cut fresh fish to order. The prices are more than reasonable. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The cashiers will show you where your items are located if you can not find them.

So many options and so well organized! Walking through the isles i just kept seeing more and more stuff that reminded me of growing up with all the snacks and food from from my Filipino half of the family. First trip to Pacific Produce - usually I have been shopping at smaller Asian Markets throughout the Metro. I was pleased when I saw how huge this store was! For the negative reviews - I’m wondering if any of them have actually been to an Asian market before. 😂 I will easily be back. Tons of vegan / plant based products, lots of rice varieties, overall I’m thrilled. I wish they had more varieties of dried seaweed and the Mochi was almost all gone. But that last bit is probably because of the time of month / stocking. Definitely recommended!

Good selection of products, but I would caution shoppers of expired produce and meats. My family and I have encountered this problem on multiple occasions, which have prompted us to stop buying certain items from this store because we just couldnt trust the expiration date that was labeled. Today, I visited the store and bought a fish, however I didnt notice how terrible the fish smelled until I got to the check out. I asked for the manager and after he came to check the fish, he told me that was how all their fish smelled. My response to him was that I had purchased fish from this store before and none had ever smelled this terrible. He then proceeded to tell me how they had been selling fish all day without complaints, but if I wanted my money back he would give it to me. I agreed to the refund and after I received it, the Manger told me they would no longer sell me fish from their store. This didnt bother me at all since I can get fish elsewhere. Needless to say, I wont be going back to this store and would encourage others that have experienced or will experience this shameful behavior to spend their money somewhere else.

Its one of few places in Milwaukee with large selection of Asian ingredients. However, the place smell of mold right when you enter and the roof leaks when it rains. Also be aware of expired foods. Check expired date before purchasing especially the frozen sections of the store. The fresh produces like fruits and veggies are either too old to eat or too expensive compare to other stores most of the time.

Shop this grocery store often due the fact that its next door to the the pho restaurant. Store was well organized, however there always long line when checkout and alot of produce arent fresh. For example, We bought a tray of thai peppers and we ended up waste half of it due to the rotten ones was hidden in the bottom. It looks like alot of produce arent refrigerated. We were going to buy something else but it doesnt seem fresh so we left and bought from some where else. Will try to add a photo. The store used to have alot of cashiers, stock person etc but now you only see one cashier and line was long. Not sure if any ownership changes recently

I’m from CO and used to shopping at H Mart and Pacific Ocean Market. I may have gone at an off time (Sat afternoon) but I was very underwhelmed. There was hardly anything stocked and the fish section smells pretty strong (not in a good way). My spouse asked to go to the bathroom and I’m pretty sure they guy said no to the young worker we asked. The young worker proceeded to tell us that they’re still cleaning it. I doubt it. The store needs to be cleaned and tidied up. It’s such a large building that’s not used to it’s potential.

Been coming here originally because my love for korean and Chinese cuisine, and its hard to travel far like Chicago. They do have fresh kimchi, fresh veggies, laver or seaweed sheets and a host of other items which I come back for. Fresh bamboo shoots and mushroom selection is awesome, like fresh shitake shrooms. Ive added Japanese cuisine so finding a decent price for bonito flakes is great find! There is so much to try with ethnic varieties. Frozen calamari tubes turned out fantastic, stuffed them with seafood, so yummy. An interesting variety to sugar substitutes like palm sugar. People here are helpful if you ask. Check it out!

Im asian and this place is just strange on so many levels. The 1st thing you notice when entering is the stench of rotten meat emanating through the entire store. From a building and maintenance standpoint, the owner doesnt adequately heat the inside and keep the parking lot clean and plowed during the winter. It has snowed a few days ago and while many area businesses just finished plowing and salting their lots, they had to be the only large store in the area that has neglected to do so. If the owner can afford to spend on his fancy Mercedes Benz SUV (which he illegally parks in front of the store) then he is for sure capable keeping the store cleaner and have properly maintained non-expired produce and meats. If youre just getting your dry goods its safe enough but anything produce or fish related has to be avoided.

This place was really dissapointing, at least for the most part. The building itself is pretty run down, especially the refrigerated section, where theres even mold in the doors. The bathrooms were terrible and definitely seems like they havent been cleaned or stocked in a year. Employees, for the most part, dont really care about their job. Management must be pretty terrible. As for the good thing, they do have a big selection but you definitely have to check the expiration dates on everything. If the owner actually started caring about the place and fixed the issues, it would be sooooo much better.

A large square footage Asian grocery store that has a wide variety of package and can items with a limited fresh meat department. Not at the same quality or variety in fresh produce as Hmart. Pay attention to the expiration date when buying can or package goods because it may have expired. I went to get basil and mint which were fresh. Youll be able to find the item you need. The bathroom and store needs to be updated along with increasing the temperature up 5 degrees to make it a more comfortable shopping experience.

The variety is great & I swear Ive seen items here that I havent at the other store. In my few visits here so far, Ive only ever seen them have more than 1 register open; for the most part this hasnt been issue, but i could see it being a problem if theyre ever busier. The quality of the produce and the service provided by the 27th street pacific produce (Milwaukee) has been deteriorated since last couple of months. Today I went there to get some fresh Tilapia. There were very less fish (types) on the shelves. When I asked for a fresh tilapia, the man at the counter went inside and got one. Even when he was cutting the fish, he was hiding it from me. I didn’t pay much attention. When I came home and opened the plastic bag, the fish was smelling bad and also the flesh/skin started coming out as soon as I gave it a wash. I went to the store immediately and wanted to notify the store manager. She said in a very rudely manner that all our fish are fresh and it cannot be returned/exchanged. I asked her to check by opening the bag but she refused to hear anything. This is not acceptable at all. Not sure if the management and/or the staff have been changed recently but I didn’t have an experience like this back in Jan/Feb. I would now think twice before going there again for any sea food or meat. My surprise plan for Mother’s Day got ruined because of this.

I have read some of the reviews of Pacific Produce, I have to say, some are not fair at all. Realize the challenges the owners must face each day, just to sell enough products to pay their employees. The workers have a tough job, they work long hours trying to keep the store in good shape. The owners struggle to maintain their stock and the best quality of products possible. Marco is one of the store managers, he has worked for Pacific Produce for a long time, he knows where everything is, and how to perform all the job functions in the store. Customers should be giving the owners and workers high marks for their efforts to bring Asian food to Oak Creek and surrounding areas. I think Pacific Produce is a great store and a good place to shop. V/R, CW.
