I’m super disappointed in how unprofessional the owner treated me on my visit. To start, I was a referral. I had a noise in the front of my car and he came out to listen to the noise by driving it around the corner. He DID NOT have time to put it on a hoist or DIAGNOSE it til the following week because he was busy. I told him another mechanic felt it was the strut mounts. He said potentially, but the noise doesn’t sound like struts, but agreed I needed them nonetheless. He also said he could do them for around $900. I explained that was a bit much for me and that I needed to have it fixed sooner than the following week he had time and thanked him for his time. Well long story short, I had the struts done same day, and because he was kind enough, I thought well I’d get an alignment, and schedule a time for him to check out the noise that wasnt fixed right?.. And wow did he blow up on me. Him and the lady in front saying “We don’t do business like that over here” “take your car back to the guy that did your struts to ask him what the noise is”..literally declined my business, and was rude because I did not give him my strut job as well. Like I did them wrong or used them. how rude? You never diagnosed my vehicle for ANYTHING. Never put my car on a lift and so I never shopped you. 2nd I knew I had to get struts done ANYWAY, and I came for suspension noise. Should have been happy to receive work, but instead acted like a baby because I didn’t give your shop a $900 strut job that you couldn’t do until the following week. Fact of the matter is he was extremely unprofessional, and reasons like this is exactly why it’s so hard for customers to trust mechanics. I ended up being treated right by someone else finding out it was motor mounts needed, and as I was planning on originally giving this shop my remaining business, and potentially becoming a customer I will respectfully make sure me and my family take our business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, because I am prone to usually only giving great reviews, but this level of unprofessionalism was outright wrong.

I called today. I asked if the company worked with warranty programs. I was told that the company isnt interested in working with my warranty company. They will never have to worry about my business ever again. I was told that it was too much work to get a pre-authorization for service.

Had my vehicle in a minor fender-bender, well relatively minor; the car had the frame I-beam and radial-arm bent so I had it towed to Richlen & Sons, and Paul took care of everything. He diagnosed what needed to be replaced, located the parts, and his crew had it back in my hands after 4 or 5 days (including the weekend so actually only 3 business days.) Now the vehicle drives better then it did even before the accident. Id recommend them to anyone!

Used to be my 5 star, trusted shop. All it takes is one time of not truly serving your customer and being rude. I adjusted my schedule and went out of my way to bring my car in - fine but then I spend hundreds of dollars for new parts only to find out that the issue isnt fixed and now I have to adjust my schedule to bring it back in. This may not have been a problem if it were handled better over the phone, I was treated like it was my fault that the issue still exists. Why did you give me my car back if the issue isnt fixed? Youre nice people, nice family, good prices, genuine trusting folks but none of that matters when a customer is treated poorly in addition to not fixing a problem the first time around.

Went to fix my a/c on my acura mdx paid 124. and was told it needed to be recharged. I asked if they are sure because that was already done and went it out in 3 days. The guy turned around and told me im not a mechanic and I did not know what I was doing. I left it alone I was not going to argue for his remark.. as long as they are sure and it is fixed. I got that done on a wensday Saturday I left town and didnt return till Saturday the following week a/c was not working at all took it back and was told it was the discharge hose and itll be 250 to do so mind you i took it the first time so the problem could be fixed. Any who this time i took it to a second mechanic and it wasnt even the discharge hose but the compresser. Im not a mechanic but know when something not Wright with my car. Would never go there again. Waist of money and time.

I have been bringing my cars here for 25 years - starting with my 93 Escort and my dad brought his cars there before that (and still does). They are always honest, no pressure, and fairly priced.We all have our strengths and mine is not cars or mechanics - but they never take advantage of that nor are they condescending. They simply explain what needs to be done and why so I do understand. Unlike the dealership I had warranty work done at, I never walk out of here with a list adding up to several thousand dollars of repairs needing to be done and marked as urgent & necessary (needless to say I didnt have any of it done at the dealership). When my car broke down, I had it towed to Richland based on the suggestion of a relative. I was not disappointed. They got to my car quickly, identified and fixed the problem within three hours. I was back on the road later that day! Tim is a very knowledgeable technician and mechanic.

The folks at Richlen have been very pleasant to work with and very flexible. Their prices are some of the lowest around and my experience has been that their work is top notch. I like to do a lot of the work on my cars and have used them for alignments after suspension work and for doing work that I just dont have the time/tools/talent to do on my own.

Yesterday I had a tired exploded on highway. Was very upset with dealing with shops around to try getting fixed. I came here and Nick gave me option to use. After relaxing and playing with their dog I got 4 new tires and oil change. During service they brought old tires and showed us how close other were to go. Course place I took car for oil change before never told me! Because of the service they gave me and gave my wife before they have a new customer for life. Thank you and God bless!

Not very impressed. Prices are higher than the norm and they take forever to complete your repairs. I cannot suggest them at all. Do yourself a favor and find a better auto shop

Will never come here again! I knew when I brought my car in I needed a lot and it would be expensive. After everything ended up costing over $500 more than I was originally quoted. I was originally told it would take 3 days. Now 2 weeks later I still dont have my car back! I was called to pick it up and found out they didnt fix one of the things I brought it in for. They kind of half did it or actually a different part of it. So I got to leave it even longer. At least that part they are doing for free and supposedly I can get my car tomorrow. Got the list of stuff they did fix and theres a ton of things we never even asked for or were told about. These people are nothing but scammers. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone!
