This was a great location until Visionworks took over. They need to train their staff to be professional and fast. The current staff are amateurs. they do not focus on solving a problem, They only quote prices and tell you what they can not or wont do. At these prices they should be able to hire real seasoned professional staff. I do not go here any more.

Arrived at my appointment at 2:22 and these people told me they couldn’t see me because I was not there at 2:20 on the dot! The guy I spoke with was very cold and rude. 0.0 stars Never going back to any vision works. I understand being on time but TWO MINUTES because I couldn’t figure out where to park? SAD

Helpful, quick, clean, everyone wore a mask the entire time, and they gave recommendations when I couldnt decide between different styles.

Very friendly associates, the Dr. was very personable and knowledgeable. She made my experience ver pleasurable. Staff is very knowledgeable as well and helpful. Our associate took her time and made sure we were satisfied with our purchases.

Great place to go if you would like a virtual eye exam. Total waste of annual benefits coverage. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Wish I had read Yelp reviews before making an appointment here at Visionsucks. All they had to do to resolve a miscommunication on when my contacts would arrive was provide me with a 5 day trial contact box, but they refused. Mostly surprised and upset with the managers attitude. The associate I spoke with prior to the manager had much better customer service and was apologetic. A manager should attempt to find solutions for unhappy customers and this one was quite simple! Will not be returning here and my family will go elsewhere.

The Customer Service at this location is horrible . They answer with the most rudest attitude ever and have no patience for answering questions. I’d recommend going to The VisionWorks in Southridge Mall.

Service here was great ! My daughter broke her glasses was told at another place that they couldn’t be fixed. We walked in to Visionworks 15 minutes before they closed and we were greeted right away and they fixed my daughter’s glasses with in minutes. Thank you guys !!!

This location is great, the manager is super helpful I was very impressed on the way they keep the location clean. You walk in the store it is clean and you see the staff constantly disinfecting and cleaning constantly. I was here for a couple minutes and i felt very safe.Very helpful and great customer service.

This location is great !! They do such an amazing job and cleaning after every patient. The little time I was here I saw how poorly some patients treated them as they keep up with helping everyone plus keeping up with everyone’s safety they clean each chair after each patient. This is the worst place to go. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. They took my review off and I had to repost this. How shady.This is the most unprofessional place I ever experienced in my life. The people are the least organized and unfriendliest people in contacting you in regards to your scheduled appointments and confirming if they accept your insurance before you go in.They claimed to have left a voicemail that they did not accept our insurance. We went back to listen to the voicemail and all they said was to CONFIRM your appointment nothing else.My son lives outside of Milwaukee and we had to schedule this around his school schedule and this has caused another delay in getting his annual eye exam in before year ends. It’s already December 31!

Not a great selection of glasses, especially not sunglasses and it takes forever to get an appointment at this location and its usually difficult to get a parking spot. Hopefully other locations will be better. Also the website is terrible to navigate

Rude customer service and I never received a call about my glasses being done. I called about it a month after submitting my prescription but I only got a please remain on the line for more than 15 minutes before giving up. They wanted me to pay $200 for an exam that was covered by my insurance so I will be going somewhere else for it.Update: I went back a month and a half after I submitted my prescription and was told that they didnt have the frames I picked available anymore. Then I was given a tray womens frames that were mostly pink and purple, etc, to pick from. When I asked for the mens frames I was told that they were mens when they obviously werent. I just told them to cancel my order and that I would be going somewhere else where I was allowed to pick some mens frames.

They have good collection of glasses.The staff need to be organised and need to better manage their time for the customers. I visited 3 times but every time their staffs are just rushing.May be they lack staffs at store.The out of pocket cost after insurance payment is not the accurate. I paid $35 at Visionworks Southridge Mall but their out of pocket quote was $130 for the same kind of frame.

I scheduled a 2 week out appointment at this place for an eye exam. When I arrived, they informed me the doctor did not show up to work. They offered me another appointment, 4 weeks out.Looking closely into reviews below, they have done the same thing to other customers; simply canceled the meeting and informing you at the time of arrival.If you have to book a meeting with these people, make sure you have another parallel app with someone else so that you do not have to wait for your appointment another 4+ weeks.I am highly disappointed in their service and will never see this provider again.

My dad had his appointment and when we arrived they said that the doctor would be with us but the doctor never showed up and also they cancelled my dads appointment because he doesnt speak English but I was with him to translate and she said she would reschedule him for Monday but I decided to go somewhere else...

Very disappointed in the service at this location. we ordered 2 pair of glasses from them almost $800.00 almost 3 weeks ago. only 1 pair has come in. tried calling them for the last 4 days couldnt get anybody to answer the phone until we called another location, who called them and they answered. not impressed at all. just went to pick up the one pair today and there were 4 people there and nobody could tell me when the other pair would be in. very sad that I have to make another trip to pick up the other pair whenever they come in.

I have been coming here since 2015 and the service is wonderful. The doctor Sanchez is sweet and professional. Carlos was so helpful, making sure I got the best deal. All the employees helped me make a decision on my frames (Im terrible at picking frames). I totally recommend this store everyone is friendly and helpful.

I havent had a new pair of glasses in a while and the current ones were getting old. I came here because my insurance shown it as in network. When I got there everyone was nice and professional. The other thing I like is they have a machine there to image your eyes, so they dont have to dilate them with the drops (I hate having to wear sunglasses all day).Overall great experience!

Came in a few days ago to get some new glasses and Sonia was very helpful with helping me find the perfect pair and she made sure I left the building with the glasses best suited for me. I brought my two boys here for eye exams. A child and an adult with a cognitive disability. The front desk staff were professional. They were serious but very professional and could answer any questions I had. The optometrist was excellent. She was able to speak to both of them in simple terms in a way that they could understand. She was very patient. Due to my adult son’s cognitive disability he gets state insurance. We had to wait many months for him to be seen but from the time he arrived until the time he left he was treated like a valuable customer. I would highly recommend Visionworks on 27th street.

Wow....what an amazing staff and great service. Blanca goes above and beyond to help you find just the right frame for your best look. My exam was comfortable and Dr. Xiong was very detailed and explained my results to me along the way while discussing my options on how best to correct my vision. This is a great store with amazing staff. Worth a stop to compare.

Excellent Staff very helpful. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because my glasses which were not even 8 month old separated from the swivel hinge and being my fault that I did not get the insurance protection I knew I had to pay for the minor repair. But I was told that I needed a whole new (Otis Gray) frame $75 which to me was a little to much since I have seen the frame for as low as $25-$50.

I would definitely recommend this location. Dr.Xiom had no problem answering all of my questions and Blanca was very friendly and very accommodating helping me choose a very stylish pair of glasses. Thank you.

Great place to get your glasses. Their associate Ivonne is nice and friendly. If you have state ins, it does take a little while to be seen. Which is understandable as not every doctor takes that insurance. I loved their service and I will be going back.

Called to reorder contacts. Weeks passed with no call back for pickup; called store and no record that they were ever ordered. Tried to reorder again but after over 20 minutes on the phone (including being disconnected once, placed on hold for a significant amount of time and asked for birthday twice) I gave up. I’ll get the prescription and order elsewhere.

Oscar at Visions Works on 27th st in Milwaukee, WI did an excellent job at fixing my glasses after the glass broke out of the frames. The fix was free, but just be patient since they can get busy. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Thanks Vision Works for the free fixing and cleaning.

The parent company owns 80% of all vision stores in the USA. Making it a monopoly and settling the prices for other retailers. Zenni optical online sells nearly all of the same frames. Glass frames start at $8. Ive bought from them for years. A pair of trifocals for under $70 shipped.
