Yesterday was my absolute last time going there!! It was 3 strikes and youre out. This used to be my go-to spot for chicken and even fried shrimp when I had a taste for them. They fry everything too hard, the food isnt fresh or grease is old or some combination thereof.They totally lost my business. If I could give them zero stars I would. Total waste of time and money...and cheating on my healthy meal journey.

If you like Italian beef? Dont buy it there its terrible. They give you meat that taste and looks like dog food.

I love this place! The wings and gizzards, the fish/shrimp is soooo hot crispy right out of the grease,and the lemon pepper and mild sauce is soooooo good!

Food is good. Today I ordered the Gyro Plate and paid extra for a side of sauce. Ask the server was the extra sauce in the bag. Got home or wasnt. I normally double check my order before leaving. I will not forget to check

I go there for their shrimps and perch. Their shrimps are big and it doesnt have all that bread on them. Both fish dinners are DELICIOUS.

Order a gyro 🥙 the meat was burnt and dried out!! The cucumber 🥒 sauce was too salty!! They need to change that asap! The fries were good but my gyro was terrible!! The chef needs to retire is he eating his own food!!

I last visited Goldens Fish 3 years ago until this past Saturday and I was not disappointed. The order taker was courteous and helpful. My catfish dinner was well prepared and delicious and hit the spot .The prices are reasonable, theres a good selection of desert cakes,banana pudding,etc.They also have chicken, wings & sandwiches. Waiting time for my carry out order was about 10 minutes. My only regret 😤 is that l dont live closer. Next door is a well stocked Family Dollar store.👌🤓

Have been eating their fish over 20yrs love catfish, perch.shrimp. kids love chicken wings.They have catered parties for me. Ive tried others, they dont compare,always come for theirs. Theyre like family, the brothers.

The best, affordable Italian beefs. Their fries use to be so good too - not anymore, they taste like theyre being cooked in old grease. Customer service here is always great. The wait is never too long, no matter how much people are there!

This place never disappoints. Nothing extravagant or fancy about it, but they really know how to prepare fried fish and fried chicken. My preference is the fish sandwich. reasonably friendly service, ample parking, and prices which are similar to the competition. I was surprised when I stopped through on my first visit and have not been disappointed since.

This place food is actually pretty good! Some of there restaurant are dirty but for the most part they do and have good services for there customers

Ive been a customer here for five years. And, these folks get points for consistency. You will be offered the option of lemon-pepper; pass on that, you wont need it. Always great catfish perfectly seasoned. by the way, if you need wings for a party or football game this is your neighborhood wing place.

Food taste good. Not really cooked when prepared. I found out near the end of my meal they hold food it in a heating area. Prices high since I expected hot cooked served food. Not going back there.

One of our favorites in the Bronzeville community! We dont choose too much fried food, but this place will serve and deliver it fresh to your tummy while you wait! No place to dine, but shop the Family Dollar across the parking lot while you wait. Friendly, clean and the best coleslaw!

They fry items perfectly until the woman in front of you messes with them and she orders the same thing you do and she wants it fried hard.

Upon first look, the iceberg lettuce & tomatoes on a Philly Steak?? I was skeptical. I ordered mine without tomatoes and removed the lettuce and it turns out to be a solid steak sammy. I recommend all the fish and chicken you can eat there as well!
