I had the club sandwich on a whole wheat bagel. It was delicious. I will be back to try more
John Denver sandwich on a cranberry bagel. Quite possibly the best bagel sandwich Ive ever had. So good. Better than good!
These bagels are amazing 🤤 I came here after work around 8am and the bagels were delicious, soft, and fresh. They are set up so you have minimal contact with workers and other customers which I appreciate in these weird covid times. There is also cute and cozy seating area for when the world goes back to normal. 10/10 would come here again
Great bagels, probably the best in the twin cities. I buy their bagels commonly from a local co-op, but went to visit this location for brunch. The sandwhiches are good, but not amazing. But the bagels alone, or with cream cheese are incredible. Its worth making the visit, and try a bunch of flavors.
Love this place! Awesome bagels and super nice staff and owners. The restaurant is always clean and they are very good about masking. Favorite bagel? Luther Vandross!
I love this place. There is no better way to start the day than with a Joni Mitchell. Food and service is always excellent at both locations. This is one of my absolute favorite places that Ive discovered since moving to Minnesota 3 years ago. Really great quality, really great selection, very reasonably priced.
Tried the blueberry, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin, chocolate chip, sea salt, and everything bagel with a tub of cream cheese. All were soft and fresh. The everything bagel had seasoning on the bottom of the bagel in addition to the top, which is something Ive never seen before and thought it was a great idea. The pumpernickel is awesome. I would have loved to have more blueberries in the blueberry bagel...there were only 4 in the whole thing. The cinnamon raisin bagel was really good. The cream cheese was easy to spread, tasted great, and was only $3 for a tub.
Favorite bagel place in the Twin Cities! The atmosphere is chill, the employees are always polite, and the bagels are top! I like this place much better than Rise bagels, where the atmosphere is not to my taste and the service is lackluster.
Our go-to every weekend. The John Denver on everything is always perfection!
Delicious! Really happy to have found a place as good as my hometown shop. Mom would approve
I love a chewy pumpernickel bagels, and this place has them! I wish someone would invent a sesame pumpernickel bagel, because how would that not be the ultimate in bagel deliciousness? Staff is friendly, wear their masks, I’ll definitely be back!
Super great. They have day old bagels for a great price, too.
Great east coast style bagels. Both sweet and savory. The sandwich options are fun and tasty. Only sad is no GF options.
After moving to Minneapolis from New York City, finding this gem of a bagel shop made me weep with joy. Its like a little Manhattan bagel shop, plunked down in south Minneapolis. Delectable. The bagels. The cream cheese. The sandwiches. The Dogwood coffee. I cannot say enough good things.Same price as Panera, for a much higher quality bagel experience. Also a highlight: bags of day old bagels for half price!
Best bagels in the twin cities hands down.
My favorite bagel place ever. Dreamy sandwiches, fresh bagels, delicious cream cheese & high quality tasty coffee.
Seriously, whats not to love about this place?!? It is such a well thought out restaurant that can appeal to all tastes, literally and figuratively. Whether you are in need of some breakfast goodies for a morning work meeting or to meet someone for lunch, we love what they offer their customers. Heck, I would even suggest this as a great place to go for brunch on a first date. Beyond the atmosphere and what they offer, the quality of their menu options is exceptional. I love the lox. Then again, you simply cant go wrong with a standard bagel and cream cheese. Something so simple is packed with flavor here. Their cream cheese might be our weakness because we like putting it on our sandwiches at home now. Im throwing it out there as an idea, but I would love to see this place so cooking classes Sunday because..... Who doesnt love a bagel?!? 😁
Great quick place for bagels+, sadwiches, cream cheese and more. Great space for meetings, parking is in short supply. They do take orders online, mention you are there for an online order. Personally not a fan of their coffee, Dogwood. They are open early to afternoon, dont expect to get dinner here. Overall a great place to eat for the area.
Order: 2 Diana Ross breakfast sandwiches (provolone + all the veggies + veggie cream cheese) + a bakers dozenThe Good: Oh wow, my son and I loved these sandwiches. They were flavorful, they didnt skimp on veggies (there was an egg, sprouts, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, lettuce, pickled jalapenos, black olives, and cucumbers). The texture and flavor of these bagels is really nice. The Not So Good - They didnt get our bakers dozen order right (I ordered 3 sun dried tomato - there were a ton in the basket, but when I opened the bag at home, pulled out three plain bagels), which was truly disappointing. It would be great if someone grabbed a bag and put them in as you said them so you can see whats happening as you make your order and/or repeat the order back to you.And while they wrapped our delicious sandwiches in tin foil (liked that), they didnt give us any napkins! This is definitely a COVID problem, but things dripped all over us as we at our sandwiches on a sliver of grass next to our car. If you take a menu item to go, it would be great to receive napkins, at a minimum. Shouldnt have to ask. If its a to-go order, give. customers. napkins. (And if youre trying to be eco-friendly, then perhaps train staff to ask if you need napkins.)On COVID safety precautions: Id commend them on this area (watched them make s.o. without a mask stand outside and pay) but would also let people know they have a 1 person/party rule right now. I had a moment where I wondered what that might mean for someone with a baby under two, or really any child you dont feel comfortable leaving on a sidewalk (on a busy city street) and feel important to let people know since I personally drove in from a different city and they dont list anything about these new rules/regulations on their site. Not a critique, just an FYI, sure things will evolve.
Despite the name, I go here for their coffee first, then bagels. Obviously, their bagels, and the breakfast bagels, are on point. But the coffee...Its difficult to find good coffee in Minneapolis, but so far this place has shined. Most places around town thats staffed mostly with highschool students afternoon that great. However, this place must fit the vibe theyre going for because its amazing. Pick any bagel sandwich and any coffee and youll be happy. You wont leave with a smile absent. You cant help but want to come back the next week.
Great bagel sandwich. I got all the veggies, which includes sprouts which was a fun surprise
Yum 10/10 bagels and customer service. Ordered a dozen bagels (of mixed variety) online and they were ready to pick up in less than 5 minutes. Amazing.
Um, salt bagel? Yup. So good. Just writing this review makes me want to o go over right now and grab a bagel. Havent had a lunch bagel yet, but they sound great.
Always a great experience. Staff is always kind and the bagels never disappoint! Cant go wrong with any bagel you choose, we love this place!
Recently did an online order. Bag was cold to the touch so obviously bagels were refrigerated. When it comes to bagels, I dont think fresh means fresh out of the refrigerator. I will continue to come here because its an alternative to the limited decent bagel options in town. Not the best but not the worst. Just beware of online ordering.
Great bagels and toppings. Mocha was not my favorite.
Not the best bagel Ive ever had. But its good. Very good. Not too tough or too soft. Not too dense or too fluffy. Great just not the best in my book. (In the top 10 though)
Awesome bagels a little expensive for a bagel blt for microwaved bacon otherwise good bagels
Over all the food was good but not great. Their jalapeno cream cheese had hardly any actual peices in it and just tasted like seasoned cream cheese. I got their everything bagel and their jalapeno and cheese bagel but both werent very flavorful. They just tasted like a plain bagels. The reason I still gave them three stars is because they cooked their eggs fresh for each order and kept the shop clean. Its not that the food was bad but just lacking flavor over all.
Great bagels, great sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop. Note: they have the worst coffee in town. It’s so thin and poor tasting I had to ask if it was hot tea. Get bagels here, but bring your own coffee.
Excellent bagels! made-from-scratch there.... great sandwich menu.. will definitely be back...
My hubs and I went to St Paul Bagelry on a frosty chilly April morning. We were delighted by the delicious bagels, especially the Hawaiian bagel with apricot almond cream cheese YUM! Best bagel and cream cheese spread ever!
Airy space and admirable location. I was meeting some friends and the server was kind enough deriving a gluten free meal without the bagel, simply had all the filing of an Al Green breakfast sandwich. Days like such i wish I wasnt gluten intolerant.Overall the service was great and I couldnt stop drooling over their many selection of bagels.
Fresh bagels and excellent breakfast sandwiches.
I really enjoy coming down to this place. The stop usually includes a tasty breakfast bagel (which could consist of so many different good menu items) and getting a 6-pack of bagels with cream cheese (the honey walnut is the best thing Ive ever put on a bagel). The place can usually be crowded but people move quickly through. Looking forward to the next time!
As a born and raised Brooklyn child, I can attest that these bagels are legit and not just the gummy, round bread that gets passed off most places around here. Also, 5 bucks for a bagel and coffee is proper. Nothing but love.
Great baglery. Do expect a bit of a wait for breakfast sandwiches. Everything is freshly cooked.
Best bagels in the twin cities!
This is a mandatory stop for our house when were in the area!
Online ordering system is really smooth, great bagels (really great cream cheese) and a wonderful staff.
Fast counter service. Good bagels with lots of options.
Great go to bagel place. Just wish it was closer! They should open a location on Penn and 66th!Update:Great bagels, but holy cow are they SLOW. They need a better process, currently waiting 15 min just to grab a simple bakers dozen. (This happens every time I visit) Please fix!
Good bagel place. They have dogwood coffee so this brings me back. They have your classic bagels as well as bagel sandwiches. Good place for breakfast or early lunch!
Bagels are great, but the service is incredibly slow-- at both orders and production. Ive ordered a bakers dozen to-go twice now, and they take the order and put them in the queue behind sandwich orders vs just loading a bag with your order. Its a nice cafe to enjoy a bagel sandwich if youre looking to stay awhile. Dogwood coffee is a bonus!
They do bagels right! Boiled then baked. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches contain fresh veggies, and their coffee is top notch. One of my go-to fast breakfast spots.
Great menu offerings with fresh ingredients proportionally built. Efficient, quick service. Design is a little ikea-esque and cold, but great natural light which warms the place up.
As far as I know, these are the best bagels in the twin cities.
The best cream cheese! Try the jalapeno. Its not too spicy.. just amazing flavor
The bagels are just as good as their original location. Breakfast and lunch sandwich options on a bagel, how do you go wrong?? I really enjoy that the two locations are similar yet have distinct design personalities!!
Best bagel sandwich in the Twin Cities. Fresh ingredients, awesome staff. Love it.
If you order an egg bagel, you might benefit from asking them not to fry the egg too hard, as I think whomever does then in mpls recently fries them too long and they develop that overly hard crust that tastes bad. Its happened to me a few times in the last few weeks. Great place though.
Second only to one, that being St Paul Bagelry on Lexington Ave in St Paul. These shops make the absolutely best bagels in the Twin Cities.I picked up a punch card for buy 10 dozen get one dozen free. Prices are comparable to other bagel bakers but a bit high for my budget. Thanks for doing what you do!!!Gpa M w/c
Amazing place. So lucky to have it in the neighborhood.
So many reasons I enjoy this place!#1 (Location)-Right around the corner from my apartment complex. I work overnights and this is a perfect breakfast spot before I go home.#2 (Creativity) I love how some bagels are named after famous singers like Diana Ross and Luther Vandross, which is my favorite.#3 (Taste) The bagels are so soft and chewy. They just melt in your mouth. Best bagels Ive ever tasted! They also have yummy ginger brew :)#4 (Customer Service) The staff are always so polite and friendly. They also always help me choose a bagel sandwich when I cant make up my mind.Needless to say, I will probably never go to a Brueggers again. I cant wait until they open today so I can start my day off with delicious breakfast!
Great assortment of tasty bagels and specialty bagel sandwiches.
Awesome food. Great service! Really nice people
Great bagels and cream cheese but when I went in today, they had nothing left... At 745 am on a Wednesday.
The Luther Vandross breakfast sandwich is just phenomenal!
Delicious bagels and cream cheese! They have a nice selectionof flavors amd their sandwich menu looks phenomenal! Employees were generally helpful and pleasant despite extremely early hour.
Holy christ these were the best bagels Ive ever had.. they make Einstein and brueggers look bad!
Love the Bagelry! Family owned, family friendly and rockstar staff. This place knows how to create and treat regulars. Bagels are the best, serves Dogwood coffee and specialty drinks. Good Wi-Fi and seating for a few hours of work too!
The bagels are great but the service is so slow. It should not take 20 Minutes for one bagel with cream cheese when there are six people making bagels behind the counter. To go orders should be prioritized if theyre simple -- no reason Im waiting this long for something so simple. There should definitely be a designated lane for bagels and cream cheese only. My bagel is still not done... will it ever be? This is depressing
Ok Bagels but as good as I am going to get in this area.
Love their bagels, no one does it better
The bagel itself is great, the prep of it was derailed. The employee didnt clean the knife off between bagels and I was the lucky winner of flavors I did not order. Whatever the person before me had was disgusting.
Ever since coronavirus place never has any bagels been there 4 times always out how do you make money
Good coffee and great Bagels. Great addition to the neighborhood!
Better than average bagels, but not true, NY quality. Prices are good, as is the selection.
Awesome spot in a great location for very good bagels at a very good price. Highly recommend the bacon scallion cream cheese
Great restaurant. Great bagels and coffee. The owners are wonderful and so kind.
I’m from NY and bagels outside NY just don’t taste as good, but this place comes close
Friendly staff, good selection, Signature Breakfast Bagel sandwiches with funky 70s names such as Isaac Hayes. Easy access for walkers, not so great parking - so just walk there or take #18 bus, ppl.
A wonderful neighborhood atmosphere with an excellent menu and a great customer experience!
I go here at least once a week, the bagels are made fresh and the service is impeccable.
It has great food but the lines are really long and take a while
I made it in as the first customer, everyone was friendly, my breakfast sandwich was awesome, and everything was clean and inviting
Pretty average bagel sandwiches. I wasnt dissapointed, its a great lunch spot, but I wouldnt go out of my way for a meal here.
Delicious bagels, great customer service!
Lot of unique, delicious choices. It has become the regular bagel stop for me and beats oUT brueggers and Einstein any day
Best bagels in town. Coffee aint bad either.
The bagels are great plus they serve dogwood coffee!
Remember to get cream cheese when ordering..as they arent quick enough to remind or upsell if you forget to tell them.....as they will make you stand in line all over again and charge you more then if you just wouldve gotten it on your bagel in the first place.
The food was good.
Great service and the bagels are always fresh and delicious.
Dogwood coffee close to home. Solid bagels.
Great Ice-T
Great service though very busy 8am Sundays
Love the Hawaiian bagels with pineapple cream cheese
Seriously the best bagels in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Best bagels west of the Hudson River!
Nice people and good bagels and cream cheese
Good stuff, thx
Best bagels in town!
Best bagels this side of New York
Fantastic bagel sandwiches
The best bagels.
