We tried their sandwiches for the first time. We always get the tasty quiche and cinnamon rolls. Anyway, the Roast Beef and the Veggie Delight Egg sandwiches are so delicious! The chocolate taste of Mocha drink is deep and rich. It’s so nice that we have a nearby coffee shop with a cool ambiance in NE. Great customer service- everyone is nice!

Coffee was delicious & the croque monsieur bun was gigantic and super tasty! Employees were very friendly and nice as well.

One of my favorite local coffee shops in Minneapolis. If you have a sweet tooth their molasses cookies are *chefs kiss*. Their coffee is standard run of the mill coffee shop but their esthetic and charisma is a different touch than norm and I personally love it. Will continue to be my work station on those nice days when I can ride my scooter out there.

First time at Carma Cafe because the reviews were so positive online I was looking forward to getting a take out order which Im glad I did because even though there was an indoor mask order issued starting today for all indoor spaces in Minneapolis not one person in the Cafe had a mask on. Its like they operate in a separate reality. Id like to go back but not until they get up to speed on the masking and keeping their customers and staff safe. Wanted this to be a five star review.

Delicious beverages, chocolate chip banana bread that is to die for, and a welcoming atmosphere. Cant get any better than that, right? ... Wrong! At Carma Coffee you get all that AND you support a business that uses environmentally friendly compostable products and they serve Tiny Footprint coffee which is an amazing and sustainable (carbon negative!) coffee company! Wonder atmosphere and friendly staff. Molasses cookies are AMAZING. My drink was kind of bland but I chalk that up on trying something new I’d never had before - not their fault I didn’t care for it. Great place to sit for a few hours and get some work done and people watch.

I rate coffee shops on the sugar scale. Meaning, the more sugar I need to drink the coffee - the worse I rate that shop. So, like a certain fast food chain famous for French fries...well...their coffee requires so much sugar that its undrinkable, simply because I cannot consume that much sugar in a beverage!This coffee shop is rated 0 sugars! The latte I ordered was so smooth and had that nuttiness that LOVE about a good latte. Of all the coffee shops Ive been in in Mpls/St Paul - and Ive been to a LOT of them, this one ranks in the top 5. I will happily drive out of my way to go here again - it was worth it the first time!

Just tried this for the first time as it was next on my list (I have a growing list of coffee shops that I am trying to visit and review). This is in my top 5 (and that’s actually saying a lot because I go to shops multiple times per week). The service was great and I am a huge fan of the amount of GF options. And the coffee was great - fresh and flavorful. Excited to come again!

This place had a nice and relaxed vibe, without being overwhelming. Service is also super friendly! I ordered a capaccino and cinnamon roll, based on asking for a recommendation. Both were great and paired well together. I really liked that the cinnamon roll wasnt overly sweet. I also got a cookie that Ill be saving for later.

My go to work spot. The vibe, the food, the drinks are all immaculate.

I forget if Ive left a review of Carma in the past, but I want to leave one right now. Ever since this place opened, the coffee and drinks have been great, as well as the customer service from the awesome owners and employees; however, I never really tried their sandwiches. Ive bought a few recently and they are ALWAYS great. My preferred sandwich: the Salami, hold the mayo, add olive oil. In conclusion, if youre like me you probably already love the coffee... but if you havent already, why not try some of their delicious food off the menu? You wont regret it!

This is the place to go to. The available seating, the atmosphere, and most importantly the coffee and food selection. The Carma Tonic is worth going out of your way for. Lots of baked goods and food too. Definitely my new shop when in Northeast.

Great place for a meeting with a small group. First time visiting and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Egg sandwich was good. Not a huge selection of options for vegetarians. I had trouble finding it and street parking can be a pain. I’d definitely come again if I’m in the area. Recommend for a nice quiet place to hang out or do some work.

This place is awesome. Decent price for great cafe foods. Try the the peanut butter, banana, cold-press, and chocolate smoothie. Its sublime. I also recommend the eggs sandwiches or quiche. They have gluten free options.The inside is welcoming and the retro decor is great!

Fantastic mellow coffee shop that I love to get work done at. Fast WiFi, great rotating selection of roasts and very friendly service. The first time that I came here the owner(?) offered me a mug since I was staying to work with bottomless refills. When I went up for my first refill she made a fresh pot and brought it out to me. Now a favorite place with a mellow vibe but good atmosphere for productivity.

I love the aesthetic of this place - fun green decor, a nice little fireplace, and plenty of sunlight. It’s extra nice when you miss your bus in the middle of winter and the next one doesn’t pass by for half an hour so you stop in to warm up with a hot coffee! Whoops! Maybe I should miss my bus more often...

Went here for the first time on a morning walk- the inside was so charming and everyone that was working was so nice and polite.Got a caramel macchiato and two sandwiches. The barista made sure I wanted a real macchiato and not the often confused Starbucks style of a macchiato, which made me happy that they wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my drink.The drink came out awesome and the sandwiches were delicious, just perfect for a light breakfast.Definitely will be wandering over during my morning walks again. I’m excited to be fully vaxxed and the indoor area to be open- looks like the perfect spot for a good book and great coffee.

As soon as I walked in to the warm and cozy environment I was greeted by two smiling faces and a few enthusiastic hellos. The scones were fresh out of the oven and absolutely delicious, and the coffee was exactly what I wanted. I could work and study here all day.

My laptop was stolen at carma coffee and thankfully was returned to the same location a couple months later. i am however writing this review because of sketchy management! i got a notification that my missing laptop was pinged at their car shop good carma across the street. i called the shop right away and the owner was impatient with me. on the phone, she tried explaining that her son had tried to mess with the laptop to figure out who it belonged to. this felt strange and unnecessary to me as my laptop in lockdown mode already had my phone number to contact if ever found. when i went to pick up the laptop, the owner implied i must have just forgotten my laptop in the couch?? and told me i should just be grateful it was returned to me. this blameful language was inappropriate.i am really thankful to have my laptop back but disappointed in the actions the management took in giving the item to its rightful owner. in my situation, the owners ignored the lost message on the laptop and decided it was better to hack into my laptop instead.anyway, this place has a great atmosphere and friendly employees! i would just remind everyone to keep their personal belongings super close. and to the management: when things are laid out for you to do the right thing, please do so.

Ive been here a couple times, and enjoy the large windows and spacious interior. The white chili chicken soup with bread today was excellent too, but what makes this place stand out is the kind staff. I had a stressful morning, but the lady at the counter had such a kind, genuine, and warm vibe that it turned my morning around. Kindness matters, and inspires. Dont ever lose that here!

Get it! Carma gets it! This place rocks! They have these cookies calls Almond Joys - its a chocolate chip cookie with coconut and almonds and its insanely good. They also have great coffee. But man, go for the cookies, they are baked fresh multiple times a day, so you have a pretty good chance of getting a hot one. The decor is cool too.

The golden late is amazing! Small quaint shop. And if you have a dog with you like I did, you can bring them in to order. You cant eat in the with them though, just be aware.

Excellent place to get your day rolling with simple food and caffeine. I reccomend building an egg sandwich. They have fantastic pesto. My go to drink is the peanut butter smoothie with cold press in it.

They have great drinks and a space that is good for working by yourself. They have amazing scones and great drinks. They dont really have great vegetarian lunch unless you want another hummus and veggie sandwich. They used to have an amazing pesto and bri sandwich, but it must have not been working out so they downgraded. Still a great place for breakfast and sweet treats!

Been here a number of times. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. They get everything right: sparklingly clean, open, bright, welcoming, stylish & thoughtful details, cleverly funky & modern w/o trying too hard, high-end yet also really warm and comfortable. Magically transformed a long neglected property into a gem.Great fresh food. And the kicker: seriously and consistently great coffee. Consistent. Oh, and always warm, friendly service too. My new preferred study/work/hang spot in NE. Happy to give them my business.

Very cute Cafe. I liked their variety of seating and also they had a fire place. The coffee was good. I got a blueberry scone and they heated it up for me. It was good but not good enough for me to highly recommend it.

So they open at 7am but the parking along Lowry is filled up with the AA meeting next door. I would go here at least 4 times a month but the parking is filled up, so I move on. Can only imagine how many other people do that too. So I go once every few months. They always seem to have some issue with the quiche, mainly that it isnt ever ready to go. Otherwise its a fine coffee shop but they should up their game at 7am and ask the meeting people to park in the neighborhood, or something.

The staff here is so lovely and interesting! Every time I’m in line, baristas and customers alike are friendly and chatty—it makes for a neighborhood/family feel. The drinks are well made, with plenty of dietary options, and there is a variety of comfortable and modern-looking seating options for solo, duo, or group work/play. I personally really dig the orchids and other plant life in the place, the giant windows and doors that open up and out in the summer sunshine, and the convenient deals offered to patrons at the Good Carma shop across the street. Clean and cute.

I love coming here because its always quiet and theres lots of seating. The decor is cute and colorful. I always order iced lattes and love their coffee. If youre staying, they will give you your drink in a glass cup. Good place to meet for business or pleasure. Lots of healthy food options. Ditch the franchises and check it out!

They cost $7 and when the Canadian bacon is forgotten on my breakfast sandwich it makes for a bad start to the day. Only to follow up with an apology by the worker but not refund me or give me some kind of discount on my next stop in. Also I just ordered what I thought was a salami sandwich with an olive spread to actually be mayo and some veggies like celery and peppers???

This place has quickly become my go-to local coffee shop. Of course i live two blocks away so its a nice leisurely walk. Besides the distance and convenience, the food is awesome and the coffee is great. They dont try to be something their arent. Nothing fancy, just their own twist on well-known local and regional favorites. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is laid back. At this time of year the fireplace really makes this a place you want to get cozy at with a great cup of coffee and some of the best scones in the city.

I needed to do a few hours of work. This was a perfect spot for it. Relatively quiet, but not a library. Very friendly staff offered me two different kinds of chai. I opted for the local variety and it was wonderful! Theres a fireplace, theres lots of big windows, and tables with outlets. I think I have found my Northeast office!

Jamie, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. Stopped once on a quick break, stayed the next time to do some work. Internet was dependable. Cold press chocolate shake was delicious and almond joy cookie is the best Ive ever had. Appears to have mostly regulars visiting. 1yr anniversary is next Wednesday. Theyre doing things right!

Break atmosphere ....Liz was great in welcoming us and treating our dogs with a bowl of water. Great design with the car theme and the garage doors. But on a hot day the AC was welcome when we stopped on a bike ride

The smoothies and coffee are great and the cookies are so tasty. Its kind of hard to notice and appreciate this location when youre whizzing by on Lowry, but if you stop in, you will be pleased with everything. The best is on warm days when they open the garage door and get some nice air circulating. This is a NE gem.

This is one of Northeasts hidden gems! They offer a great selection of espresso drinks, classic drip coffee and a variety of smoothies. Their food menu includes a selection of ingredients to build your own egg sandwich, a couple lunch sandwiches and salad options. Menu items can be made gluten free or vegetarian depending on your preferences and choices.

Great coffee from very friendly people. Dogs are welcome. The sandwiches are fantastic. The smoothies are delicious and made with real ingredients. They have cookies that are a meal in itself. I would not pass this place by.

I love coming here to study. The baristas are kind and welcoming, and the music playlist is always on point. The peanut butter banana coldpress smoothie is delicious and filling - perfect for if you want to stay a while. I had the pumpkin white chocolate scone, and it was so, so delicious.
