I had lavender bubble tea and do not recommend it. It was too sweet even at 80% sweetness. And the taste was too blend.

WHERE DO I EVEN START!!!!! Cheesecake so good I eat it with my barehands! The folks that work here are unbelievably talented and have great costumer service despite being in probably the wildest part of Minneapolis. The drinks are a bit colder than expected but I just asked dor less ice. The drinks are very sweet so id get about 50 percent sweetness. The staff is super nice and were helping me out when I couldnt decide. Great place!

Cold brew & Splenda 🔥. Some of the workers r goofs tho, the same goes 4 the customers, matter of fact u could say that 4 most of the new generation. Too much 👄 and 📱 & not enough 🧠 and 👂s.

As a visitor from Nashville, I was pleasantly surprised by how good their bubble teas were. Although it’s ok a pricier side, it’s comparable to other bubble tea places in Minneapolis. The toppings are delicious, and for first timers I would recommend their Thai tea. Overall, very nice location and delicious bubble tea. Would’ve given 5 stars, had I not tasted authentic boba from Japan and Taiwan.

Great selection of bubble teas. I am specially fond of their sakura tea. If you are going there first time ask for 50% of regular sugar level.

This place is staffed by kids who couldnt out-think my dog. If you havent been there to watch these einsteins manage a customer rush, its something that must be seen to be believed. They yap to each other about complete nonsense, scroll their phones, develop acute anxiety, and make every person in the store wait 30 minutes for a drink thats 8 times what a reasonable price might be. One time I was there when the cup sealer lid machine broke and oh. my. god....the problem-solving skills of these future failed tik tok influencers was next level. Dont go for the food...go for the anthropology. See society crumble in real time.

Our teas were good. It took a little stirring to get the sugar mixed around, but we liked it!

They do not seem to put a lot of effort into precautions for COVID-19. How does a place like this not offer curbside pick up? Placing an order online is meaningless as one still has to walk all the way inside the store passing by every customer and employee on the way. Also, some of their employees are on the rude side. There are other places to get your bubble tea fix safely.

The options and combinations at ChaTime are endless!!They offer milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, lemon breeze, milk coffee, tea lattes, fresh teas and fruity qq with many toppings to choose from!!The Sparkling Hibiscus Lemon is one of my favorites and the new Violet Breeze its a must try!

I got the taro milk tea doesnt have any tea taste at all.... Its more like powder taro flavored milkshake! Not really worth the $6 for that drink. Maybe its better to stick with the original milk tea, since they uses powder stuff not from fresh fruit or can fruit.

No matter where, bubble tea is always good. Chat time gets the drinks out quickly, has plenty of flavors, and has a rewards program for free drinks! Although, I would definitely recommend getting the sweetness reduced to 50% or lower as the drinks are fairly sweet.

This place has the bomb 👌 bubble tea smoothies!! So much flavor, tons of options, and they are relatively inexpensive. I highly recommend this place. If you are in the area definitely stop in and check it out. Parking near Chat time is the ONLY downside...pick the time of day carefully...unless you dont mind walking a good distance. Enjoy

The staff here is so friendly! and the bubble tea isnt bad either. the overall atmosphere is decent for doing work, but i wouldnt bring a friend here to just hang out.

Drove all the way across town to take the kids here for some boba tea as a last resort due to other places were closed. The Staff seemed nice but does not seem to know how to make a boba tea- smoothie. And for some reason they did not know how or wasnt able to mix flavors. But went ahead and bought three smoothie/ boba tea. The first two that was done first seemed to be ok and were like a slushie but the last one had very little ice so it was basically a juice tea with little crushed ice at the top.

Clean and not to packed on a snowy March Monday. Had the taro milk tea and was delighted to taste a familiar Taro drink and not be disappointed. Wish I would of asked for less ice though. Overall amazing experience staff was clean and kept. Music was nice and refreshing and to the current times. 5 out of 5 stars

Just as it was back in Australia, Chatime is my favourite spot here in the Twin Cities for a sweet, flavoured, iced-tea in the warm summer months. Just kidding: the calendar holds no sway over my rate of consumption... I pop in just as often when there is snow on the ground as I do when there is not!

This is a nice place. They have lots of flavor options and the staff is very friendly. Their bubble tea is pretty good, but there are better places on campus.

Ive been there 5 times and everytime I go, the staff works fast and are always friendly. I highly recommend this chatime. Also, their boba tea is very consistent when it comes to taste. If the line is long, its still worth the wait!

I always ordered signature tea and to day I bought at Dinkytown, she to put to much ice for both signature I ordered, and the taste isn’t there .. so water down cause to much ice in it.. disappointed for all drive from Richfield to this place .. isn’t worth my effort at all 😂

Walked in and was instantly met with a lovely smell of all sorts of teas mixing together. Service was speedy, people were friendly, and the floors were clean despite the rather wet weather!Tea was good, if a little spendy. We knew that going in though, so all was well! Worth visiting again.

Absolutely my favorite place on campus! I love this place. I liked their old location better, but still love the tea. I think its the best boba in MN.

They have pretty good variety, but I find that their drinks are very sugary. The first time I went I got the regular sweetness of the strawberry milk tea, and it was so unbearably sweet I had to throw it away. The next time I went, I got a pomegranate black tea at 30% sweetness, and it tasted pretty good. However, the 30% sweetness level was about the same as Senchas 75% sweetness Id say. They also dont have aloe as a topping choice, which was kind of sad for me but they did have coconut jellies! The store itself had a nice atmosphere. They offer a variety of board games, so you could definitely spend awhile there playing games with friends. Overall, its decent, but for an area with so many bubble tea joints, it would not be my first choice.

Great atmosphere and quick, friendly service. A good place to hang out or study, although its usually hot in summer. I recommend the jasmine milk tea and the macarons.Dont forget they they have a happy hour in the morning, and on Tuesdays you can get two punches on your loyalty card instead of one!

Great place to study and hangout with friends. Near the U of M campus which is a plus. My boba tea tasted great! Service was good as well. Dont recommend coming here if you drive though. There is no free street parking. Theres a lot on the side behind Chatime that costs $4 for the first hour.

They let you choose the sweetness level of your drink! Which is great because most bubble tea drinks are way too sweet for me.

Chatime has the most uniquely flavored signature milk tea. I always want to Branch out and try different menu options when I go, but their signature tea is just too good. The sitting area is spacious and some tables along the wall have outlets for working on a laptop. But the music is often loud and obnoxious in that corner so its a bit annoying.

Usually I love chatime Dinkytown. The drinks are amazing and the customer service is usually great. But I visited the location on Tuesday evening (8/27) and did NOT enjoy my experience. The brunette helping me was very condescending. I asked for a small açaí berry sprits and with a very rude tone she said “we only have regular or large and it’s pronounced “açaí”. She was very demeaning and from now on if she is working I won’t be there.

Youre better off going around the corner to Kung Fu Tea, which is more authentically Chinese/Taiwanese. That being said, I love bubble tea, and if they sell it, Ill buy it! One advantage of this place is that the atmosphere is more relaxing - this could be a place to get some work done on your laptop if youre into that.

They wont keep tapioca pearls ready in the later part of the day. Their sign says bubble tea, apparently its only when they feel like it.

Chatime is my favorite bubble tea ever! But this location is not the best. Parking is difficult and staff are not as friendly. The Mall of America location is my favorite!

I love me some boba tea and Chatime does it right. I usually get the Jumbo size tea and although they dont always give me the same number of stamps (on my punch card, sometimes they give me 2, sometimes only 1...) they do everything else right. Beware though! This location is no longer open, they have moved to the South Minneapolis area.UPDATE: Chatime no longer has the Jumbo size tea! Me soooo sad! Everyone else get sad with me and then maybe they will bring it back! Please bring it back! The Jumbo size was the best treat! I used to get that and then have it be my lunch! Haha! It was the best! No seriously, I loved them. ❤️

🗣Best bubble tea in the Dinkytown area!🗣Their boba are perfectly chewy and sweet compared to Kung Fu Tea’s and Boba King’s (theirs taste almost plastic-y). Although they don’t offer a cheese milk foam topping (like Feng Cha), it’s still my favorite place to get bubble tea and hang out or do homework late into the evening. Yummy tea, and its a chill space to chat. They have board games too which is a nice touch while youre waiting.

The cashier was nice and correctly rung up my orders, but the barista did not follow the measurements I asked for. I understand mistakes happen, but ordering the same thing twice and making the same mistake twice is a bit much.EDIT: Two days after Chatime reached out to me with their response to my review, Ive emailed them and havent heard a thing. I would gladly change my review if they really made it right like the response claimed. Please do not say you want to fix something and then go silent, thats not great business practice.2nd EDIT: A representative reached out and while there were some bumps in the process, everything was solved and is all good now.
