There are a wide variety of seating options both inside and outside, although not a ton of seating for larger groups. There are some cute mugs for purchase and some sweet beverages and food as well. When the weather is nice, they open up the garage doors and it really provides a delightful ambiance. Coffee was tasty and there are a wide variety of options. The baristas were helpful as well :)

Love the atmosphere and spaciousness here! Im usually drink traditional coffees because I just need the caffeine but I went adventurous today for an adventurous day and got the spumoni latte. It was delicious! Definitely would be a perfect place to work, chill, hang, or just get coffee for your day.

This place was not really very busy and it took over half an hour to get one cappuccino. Still it was pretty good once I got it, and it is a cool place. Giving a 4 and benefit of the doubt it was a one-off.

Tried their house blend today. Went there for the first time this morning because two different coffee snobs that I know said that they had really good coffee. I am not as much as of a coffee connoisseur as they are but it WAS the best cup of coffee I have had in over a year. Also, the location and atmosphere are SWEET!!!!!!!!!!

We had an Iced Mocha and an Iced Vanilla Latte. The coffee was strong and notable! They had a relaxed vibe and had lots of different areas to sit with friends or by yourself. There was large outdoor patio and ample parking!

Every time I go here, I always feel super welcomed. They have a wide variety of single origin coffees and they have good tasting espresso. This is a great place to meet up with friends, or study for school. The tables can feel a little tight so Im particular of where I sit whether its outside or in the couch area. Definitely check this place out!

Extra points for indoor layout. What an amazing coffee roaster and shop. Little cubicles perfect for working with outlets. Good for concentrating while still being in an upbeat environment. Ping pong table, sofas, and spacious outdoor seating. Cortado was tasty. Milk steamed at good temperature. They were out of pastries when I got there which was a bummer. Carbonated water on tap is a plus. Spotted a couple of flies which doesn’t seem hygienic, but not a big deal. Would visit again. If it’s to work or hang out with friends, make sure to stop by and give it a try

I have been visiting dogwood for many years and sadly i am just getting around to writing a review...forgive me! dogwood is top three for me in the metro area for coffee roasters/shops. the baristas are always friendly with christa being one of the best! plenty of parking, lots of great seating, and the patio is on point for the warmer months!

This is one of the best coffee shops in the Twin Cities for those of us that enjoy working at a cafe. The shop is bright and spacious and has wonderful art painted everywhere. It’s in a prime location and has tons of parking available! We’ve been here a few times and even though it’s a long drive for us (30+ minutes) we will definitely be returning soon. All of the Dogwood shops in the Twin Cities area are great places to work and relax. They have a welcoming environment.

The bear coffee shop in northeast! There’s plenty of easy parking, it’s easy to get to via bike, and it’s centrally located.The espresso and cold brew are the best in the city. If you’re into espresso or want something simple get a shot of Neon. It’s light fruity and wonderful.The Café has a fun modern vibe with lots of outdoor patio seating in the summer. You can also watch them roast coffee through a plate glass window onto the production floor.The baristas are always kind and helpful too.

Great place if you love the smell of coffee

The cafe is nice and clean, and the coffee is delicious. Dogwood coffee my favorite place to study and work for more than three years. However, in the recent period, the music has become more disturbing, especially for those who have work or study or even talk with friends in the cafe.For anyone with the same remark, TELL them that choosing the right music is important, affecting mood and productivity.

I come to Dogwood weekly to meet with a friend every Thursday. We have this time scheduled to connect and it’s been great. I will pop in other times for meetings and today was a tad unpleasant. I came in really had to use the bathroom so I did that first. While I was waiting for my colleague to show up for our meeting I wanted to grab one of the several spaces available to ensure we had a seat. I wasn’t ready to order yet as I wanted to see if my colleague wanted anything. I was approached in a way that left me feeling unwelcome. I was asked to reserve a spot in which I felt once I got to the counter to sign up I was asked what I was going to order. The air about it was that I needed to order something to make a reservation. This isn’t unreasonable but I just wasn’t ready to order yet and as a valued customer that literally comes here weekly every Thursday I felt like I had to meet these requirements up front in order to be there and just didn’t have a good feel about it. I never like to spread negativity and I’m going to rate three stars based on majority of my experiences but dang I’m disappointed. I was told I could wait by the bench or wait outside. I’m like dang really? I just left and brought my business to somewhere that was a tad more welcoming and less restrictive.

Been a customer since they had the single location in Calhoun square but recently everything has changed. They seem to be operating on the same level as other local shops in regards to how you are treated in the shop. Aka do not care. This is disappointing because they roast really good beans.

Man, I gotta say this place be hella disrespectful place. I bought a coffe and they gave me a coffe.I dont even know why they serve coffe at a asian restauraunt to be honest with you.only plus is that the staff be hella respectful in a disrespectful respectful way if you know what I mean.

Previously my favorite cafe. But of late, they are blasting music like this is a night club. And the staff has been harboring some serious attitude. The coffee, kombucha, and other offerings remain excellent…I just wouldn’t want to stay here for any length of time. Very disappointing. Hopefully management reads these reviews, because the staff certainly doesn’t listen to the customers.

The coffee here is wonderful and I’ve had fantastic experiences at any other shop that serves Dogwood roasted coffee. The atmosphere is great but be warned that tables go fast, especially during busy times. But the coffee is so worth it 👍

I visited here to buy some coffee beans to brew at home and a hot coffee to go. I had a regular medium roast coffee to go which was great! Unfortunately the beans I purchased (which werent cheap by any means) didnt have a lot of flavor or caffeine, each time I made it I added more beans and less water thinking I hadnt hit the sweet spot, but unfortunately it never did it for me. (Bear hug was the blend I purchased). I almost wondered if I was given decaf by accident.

Holy moly this place is BEAUTIFUL. Dogwood has an amazing aesthetic that is part art, part playground, part workstation. Lots of space to sit and work, or to sit and relax. Or play table tennis! Big windows mean lots of light, and i love that the music was just the right amount of loud.Oh, and the coffee? Amazing. Just too good! My Americano was so good, i didnt even add cream or sugar, which you almost always have to do because of bitterness. The barista made it PERFECTLY.Come! Drink coffee here! Youll be glad you did.

The coffee is bold...not much variety in flavors or in taste (the flavors taste similar)...however, the coffee is rich and bold. The seating was nice, although the booths were not very comfortable (very straight backs), and reservations were required with a maximum seating time of approximately 2 hours. Nice place for a few hours of studying but not the best coffee shop.

This is the number one coffee shop in the Northeast Minneapolis area. The environment is open, bright, and artsy. I recommend a hot coffee or a chai tea.

St. Paul locations. A giants in its own right, had a distinct feel and amenities. I liked the design and layout of Dogwood. If you’ve never been, this is a great spot to go for your first time visit! *consistently good coffee all around.*

Tons of booths youre almost guaranteed a spot. Each booth has at least two outlets, so you will be able to charge your devices. If you dont want to sit in a booth there are so many other couches and chairs you can sit in too that are very comfy. On days with nice weather they will open the garage doors and let the breeze roll through. Theres a ping pong room, and the bathrooms are themed. On top of all of this, the coffee is supreme. Please go to this shop. You will NOT regret it.

This place is beyond aesthetic, I love the vibes that the barista and the coffee shop portrays. I personally think that their coffee does have a slight older taste to it but that is just my own personal opinion, I still go here when I feel like having a nice cup of coffee.

What a great space! Its well lit with a lot of booth style tables. These are perfect if you need to meet with someone, or get some work done. Coffee tastes great, and if you get a large coffee to drink in a mug, they split it: so after you finish one mug or the first-half of your large, you can go back and get another mug or the second-half of your large. That means you get to drink coffee thats fresh and hot. The scones are tasty and crumbly (which is a good thing). WiFi works great. Overall I highly recommend this Dogwood!

Very comfy furniture, decent prices (free soy, almond or oat milk substitutions) and unique coffee options. Almost every indoor seat has access to an outlet.

Lovely open layout with nice seating options and an awesome view of on-site bean roasting.... Id already had coffee before I came, but the smell was scrumptious. Best Kouign-Amann Ive had so far. Lots of non-coffee beverage options; be back for espresso next time!

So happy Dogwood is here! Their roasts have always been my local favorite, always smooth and never bitter or metallic. The space theyve created is very modern but comfortable. The staff is so nice and welcoming.The lattes here are my favorite because they know how to flavor them without feeling like you are drinking straight syrup. They have their own parking lot as well with tons of space. Im looking forward to their patio this summer!

The coffee is consistently fantastic. I think pour overs are what they do best. From my observation, Dogwood is primarily focused on the quality of their beans, so getting a straight coffee/espresso is my recommendation to best experience what they do.Their lattes are still super good, nothing wrong with them. But places like Five Watt, who treat their lattes like high quality cocktails, are where I’d go if I’m feeling a latte.As far as the space goes, it’s one of the coolest places to hang out or get work done. High end furniture, super open and vibey, and soon they’ll have a big outdoor patio.

OMG, the pastries were sooo delicious! Especially the passion fruit filled cronut type one, I said I think this is the 1st time I have ever had an ACTUAL gourmet pastry like you might get in France or something Also loved that they had a Chaider option because in my search for somewhere to order from I couldnt decide between chai or cider so that was actually the deciding factor for picking Dogwood that morning.My fiance didnt care for his coffee drink(cappuccino or latte I dont remember) but that was partly our fault for being late to pick up so it wasnt super hot.

Awesome coffee shop with plenty of space for small professional meetings or relaxing with friends. The outside deck is also an awesome area to relax in the sun. The coffee is also pretty tasty, the cold brew is full of fruity notes.
