We ran in to Kroger on Merrifield for a few things. There was no one in the deli. (They are short handed and the deli person was on break).We stood around waiting for about 20 minutes.There was about 3 lbs of shaved ham laying on the meat slicer the whole time we were standing there.Now I know it can sit out for about 2 hours before it spoils, and maybe they have no intention of selling that ham, but I dont think I will be using the deli any time soon.

They already barely have anything. But this bathroom was unbelievable, yes I took pictures. I was with my one year old he tried grabbing stuff off the ground Jesus Christ it was bad. I understand you maybe short staffed but this is unacceptable especially times like this.

I go to this Kroger to get my check cashed so I can put it into my bank account and every single time I go in to do that the office is closed. It doesn’t matter the time of day I go they are always closed. The ones that know how to do the office is always the ones saying they’re not open. I get that you’re under staffed right now but if you tell me that the office would be open in 10-20 minutes but then turn around and say that they won’t open for the whole day, then you better believe I’m going to be angry. My step dad had to be the one to tell you that if I don’t cash the check then you have to put 2 shopping carts full of groceries ( including frozen food and raw meat) away by yourself. That’s when you agreed not when I asked! Not when I said I needed the money that day to pay a bill. But when you were basically forced by my dad.

Nice Kroger. For the most part have everything I need when going in and checkouts even with a full cart of groceries are pretty quick.

Stopped in at deli, stood there with another customer for almost ten minutes with no clerk anywhere in deli depth. They called for him 3 times on loudspeaker. When he did show up, I asked for some boneless wings as I pointed at them behind the glass. He said, well, because of the time it is now, the deli is closed...and I watched him throw out the chicken. I will never shop at this store ever again, hes a worthless piece of s$%#...

This place is okay but they never have everything Im looking for. Usually nice staff though

Most of the staff is nice. The store is never stocked properly. I visited the store at least 3 times last week hoping that the soups in the deli would be restocked, however, no such luck. A lot of things on the shelf were empty as well as in the freezer cases. This happens often at this location. I have started going a little further to Meijers just to ensure I get everything I need.

Went a couple weeks ago because I was in the area, the whole stores was not organized. The staff would stare at my werid and was not welcoming.

This store has a very nice and friendly staff serving you. I especially appreciate the meat department as they have a good selection of various packaged sizes. The store is clean and easy to shop. Kroger has very good prices on groceries.

I have lived a mile from this store for the past 30 years and every year this store goes further downhill. Just during the past few months I have encountered the following issues. For 3 days in a row (despite having many cases of a variety of gallons of milk visible in the cooler), not a single gallon of milk was stocked on the cooler shelf. I started going into the cooler to grab a gallon after employees would not. Despite masks being mandatory by Governors order, store and corporate policy, there are always customers in the store without masks as the store manager watches indifferently. For weeks this store has flirted with idea of rounding purchases to the next dollar because of the coin shortage that now seems to affect only this store-last nite the cashier said she would not return change so I left the groceries, walked out and will never return. This is one of the poorest stocked, dirtiest stores in the Krogers chain. There are too many alternatives to shop at this poorly run dump.

I just go there when I dont feel like going to a chain store, the prices are not bad when they are on sale, my biggest complaint is there is quite of employees with BO🤭

Helpful, friendly neighborhood store. Actually will assist customers in many ways. Staff are present in departments and offer help regularly. Clean, tidy, recently reorganized and had maps plus extra staff around to help customers with transition. Pharmacy is wonderful, actually know my name and hours for it are good. Only thing its missing is a Kroger gas station. Deli choices seem a bit limited at times. Shop there weekly.

So yesterday I went to this store I will not ever return back to your location we tried going to the u-scan the gentleman told us to go up there and then he looked in our cartoon shook his head and said no you need to go somewhere else theres only 15 items allowed he was very rude and very disrespectful so yes I did get rid back I have children with me and we were just trying to grab what we needed and get outthere was only one person ringing up groceries and she already had five people in linenobody was in the u-scan we thought it would be we might have had 20 groceries at most so yes I will never spend my money at your store and I will make this known to everybody how rude and disrespectful your employees are and how I dont think your manager did what he should of did my money will definitely be spent

People who work here are ALWAYSfriendly, courteous, helpful! The plastic grocery bags are, in my opinion, THE WORST OF ALL THE STORES IN THIS AREA! They tear so easily! I also am short, so have trouble getting anything down from the top three shelves. I LOVE the sewn cloth bags!! They hold up wonderfully and are beautiful to boot!

2 checkout lanes were open and I had to bag every bit of the 150 dollars worth of groceries myself, slowing down the line of people ready to get out of the store in which hardly anyone was wearing a facemask, when there was a bagger available that gets paid to do it for me. Thanks🙄

Good location, close to lots of neighborhoods. Much better since the rehab. Prices are good, especially if you use the app and Kroger card. Only dowsides in my experience are lack of stock on sale items and more staff on the floor for customer service.

I feel I was lied to by the staff regarding payment options. My bank was having an issue with there processing of debit card payments. The checker in a booming voice stated that the transaction would not process, as if my account was insufficient, which I new was not the case, and which I confirmed at the counter. I called an they requested that Kroger run the payment as a credit card instead of debit card and it would process. Kroger attendant said they cannot do it. They sent me to the bank to withdrawal the money, where I shared this story. The teller said she shops at the Kroger and has had this issue from time to time and she has had the option of having the service team process it as a credit card. I feel I was given the run around unneccesarily. I spent 40 minutes jockeying back and forth from the store to the bank and back to the store to stand in line to claim my groceries. The staff at this store seems to change quite frequently. The Merrifield store is poorly lit and less clean. The produce is less than average. Sale items are poorly restocked.

Clean & well stocked. Although some of the old set up was more logical, like having the coffee near the cereal instead of the ice cream aisle.

I love when at the end of the day they put a dozen donuts for a very reduced price. Me and my daughter like to go there and pick out the variety. #shelovesdoughnuts!

Kroger is always good.. I love the place lol.. Where I am originally from there is no Kroger.. So, I primarily shopped at Walmart.. However, now I can do both. Staff friendly, dont do self checkout at times it can be irritating.. This is why there is no 5/Star rating... I dont have a hard time finding things, and Ive never had an issue with any of the products..

Still trying to get use to the moving around of everything. Like that the store is clean now. Produce is looking much better liking this store a lot now.

You can buy food here. Food is great for eating. Everybody should eat food from this location.

Although I shop here all the time and continue to do so I am very upset that this store is never in stock of anything I need and stuff is expired! This only good thing about this store is the employee Jeff. He is always at the self service check outs and is very kind and patient!

I always loved Kroger then they moved away from my city in North Carolina. Im just visiting the area and needed some things so I was happy to see a brand I can trust!

I always have a good experience here. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they dont have quite the stock as some of the other Krogers. Its happened a few times when they are sold out of things. And the deli selection isnt the best.

Always out of stock. Carts left in aisle making getting thru a pain. On rainy days better bring your own wet cart in to use because usually none in store. Carts in store are old and dont push easily. Store just out of date and under staffed.

Had an orientation there had to call off because my grandpa had a heart attack they called this a family establishment but yet when I try to call off they wouldnt reschedule me or even try to even look at me ever again in that day wont even scheduled a new interview they look at me like Im a liar or something Ive been going to that Krogers for 4 years straight.... but just like anywhere in a white suburban area my Mexican ass isnt allowed or thats how they make it feel

OK as a secondary source for select groceries. Has a dated, janky vibe to it. You can find some good, if not great, deals on many items, but I wouldnt consider this a regular go-to destination.BEWARE of expiration dates! The stock crew has no clue how to properly stock shelves. Ive found product that had expired 6+ months prior on multiple occasions. Management doesnt seem to care as Ive brought this to their attention more than once.

Good place to shop and pick up lunch during the work week .

They have started selling some organic foods and their selection is getting better also a small vegetarian selection with tofu but if you have a master debit card then they will not give the credit option

Went in Sunday morning. Not many people in. Multiple shelves were empty. Produce looked pretty rough so we skipped over a lot of what we wanted. Card wouldnt work at checkout. Cashier was nice enough to give us the sales price but couldnt get the digital coupons we clipped. Just sad since Ive been in nice krogers. This krogers was decent about 3 years ago so not sure if management changed or if we just hit it at the wrong time. Either way Ill pass.

Its Kroger. I mean... Whats to say, really. Except maybe one thing. This place rocks! I forgot how much I miss the place. Theyre less dependant upon that stupid card of theirs but they still want you to have one. Whatever. No big, really, I guess. As is with most Kroger stores, CLEAN. Very well kept, I applaud the team for their attention to detail. Im a maintenance guy at a steel house, I dont exactly deal with aesthetics, but when I come here I feel given a gift of cleanliness and design without force. Very Fung shui. Beautiful produce, decent meat. I am a very frugal person, so theirs red tags are my eye catchers. Ive been shopping at M****r because its close, and Aldi because Im cheap! 😀 But, I think Ill start back to Kroger.

Long lines at the customer service. When I answer no about having a krogers card. Im told to go to customer service to get one but the line is always at least a 15 min wait. They do have go prescription prices.

Store could benefit from a refreshing. Store looks old and dirty and doesnt have everything in stock. Hard to complete a shopping list.

Im not a huge Kroger fan. The prices and selection is pretty good. The produce generally sucks. I cant count the number of times we buy something one day then the next day its spoiled/rotten or over ripe. This location is run down as are most Krogers Ive been to tend to be. My wife shops there all the time for the prices. Overall a meh shopping experience. The service is okay, but if you worked there Im sure it wouldnt make you want to put any extra effort in either.
