We drove over from the eastern shore to check it out.When we saw the car, especially the interior, we were ecstatic. Our salesperson Allen was very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel right at home. We drove the car and knew we had to have it. It’s a 2015 with 80K miles and in perfect condition. It was priced about $9K less than NADA clean retail. Ive had my Jeep for 2 months now and Ive had to take it in 3 times due to the check engine light coming on within the first 24 hours of having it. Every time I bring it in I get a loaner car, but not this time. Brought it in on a Saturday to get wires and spark plugs, they told me it would take an hour. From 9am to 1pm I waited for my Jeep to be done. They told me it will be ready Monday, so Im like I get a loaner right? Sorry we dont have anymore. Now I have to find a ride home, I also have to find a ride to and from work, then a ride back to pick up my Jeep? Im beyond mad at this point. If I couldve left no stars then that wouldve been fine by me. It has to get better.

On 9/7/21 I purchase a 2018 Ford Escape from Ethan Hunt. I did not rush this sell; I took my time. After I sign the papers and was given the key, the check engine light came on. I never left the dealership lot. Ethan Hunt mechanic stated the car need a tune up. I came back the next day, they did a tune up. Same week, check engine light came on again; I was told the same thing. (tune up) This happen a total of three times. The car got to the point, I had to crank it two or three times to make it start. On 9/21/21, one of Ethan Hunt service workers instructed me to take the car to Ford Dealership. Same day I made an appointment with Ford. Today the car ran hot. I was already in Daphne; took the car to Sandy Sansing Ford. The car is leaking cooling into the motor. NEED A NEW MOTOR!!! Brought the car on 7th and need a new motor on 22nd. Keep in mind Ethan salesman/saleswoman was quick to say We do a full motor inspection on all our cars. This situation has already been a burden of taking the car back and fourth to Ethan Hunt. Now needing a motor, jeopardize my livelihood. (how do I suppose to get to work, kids to school, to the store, etc) One of Ethan Hunt employee will respond to my post with a passive aggressive comment, but everyone that read this post keep in mind: The car I purchase from Ethan Hunt will need a new motor before I paid the first car note, before I had the car for a month, before I had a chance to put 1,500 miles on the car, and before I even had a chance to cross state lines with the car. Im pretty sure my situation fall under Alabama Lemon Law.

There were no staff to be found anywhere, inside or out. We went expecting to pay cash for a car but couldnt even find anyone to talk to.None of the cars on the lot had prices displayed, leaving room for the sort of sales shenanigans that give used dealerships a bad name.There is no wheelchair ramp to the office, so I had to have my wife drag me and my chair up the steep curb to even access the office where, as previously stated, no one was there despite us calling out that we had cash and wanted to buy on the spot.No thanks, Ill pass.

The sales staff were great unfortunately I purchased a vehicle from them that they should NEVER had up for sale, completely eaten through the frame with body cancer, having to replace entire fuel tank/pump assembly because all inner workings are eaten through with rust. Mechanic is having difficulty doing so because of all the crumbling body cancer. Very disappointed, disgusted and depressed to this vehicle that was supposed to be a fun time jeep adventure has turned into a nightmare

Reviews for a company are so important. I hate leaving this but honestly this was the worst vehicle shopping experience I have ever had. The since of urgency is non existent and I was approved at 4 other dealerships with no money down with what I was trading in.1. They never let me see or test drive the truck I wanted to purchase.2. Appraised my car but never gave me a number.3. Went straight to the credit app and told me it wouldnt be hard they have 32 lenders...... they only ran it through one as I have extensive credit monitoring then called back and said they ran it through 3. Why not the other ones?4. OVER 24 Hours later and still couldnt see the truck as it was in the shop5. Awful customer service.

Do not buy from this place. They sold us a truck with major problems, and it left us stranded twice in the first week we had it. We brought it back to Ethan Hunt and they just gave it a wheel alignment and refused to do anything else. Now basically a week and a half later the truck is having major issues again. And I just got quoted $2,000 dollars from a diesel tech to fix things that Ethan Hunt “cleared.” I was extremely gracious and trusting and I feel incredibly taken advantage of. The sales Dept (Isaiah) is great but it seems as though I can’t trust anyone else there. Especially the service Dept.Update: Ethan offered to help by paying half of that last quoted amount. Said he couldn’t have known about ALL of the issues and won’t help again.Update: Transmission went out as well. $6000 on TOP of what we already spent.Nearly 10k in fixes all within the our first 10,000 mi on the truck.Will never recommend this place.

I wish I could rate less, within a few weeks of purchasing our 07 FJ from Ethan Hunt automotive our front tires nearly came off! I asked for a full inspection report and was assured “our top service shop has given it a thorough examination and it’s good to go”, what BS. We have had countless electrical issues, had to replace the transmission and now, not even a year later our rear differential is blown out, which happened on the highway with our baby in the truck, great! Thanks for the garbage vehicle. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

My husband and I bought a 2018 Mazda 3 from here last November. We really like the car and have had no big issues with it since. When we bought it though, we noticed the front towing cap was missing and we requested they replace it before we purchase. They agreed and wrote it into our contract telling us they would order the part right away and overnight it to us. A few weeks passed and we never received it so we called our salesman, Charles, to ask about it. He said he would order it and send it right away. Over the last few months my husband has called at least once a month (if not more) and always gets the same answer it should be arriving soon and yet we still have not received the part. This experience showed us that this dealership will not keep their word and are not trustworthy. I would advise you to take your business elsewhere!

Words can’t describe how horrible this place is. They sell dangerous vehicles with so many issues and promise to fix it all only to come back and tell you it’s not their problem. As soon as I drove it off the lot all warning lights came on and I told them and they said oh we’ll fix it all. They kept it for a month and didn’t really fix it. They deleted the codes and a few days later the truck has no power. I can’t go over 45mph. They said oh you bought it a month ago, not our problem even though they had it the whole time. Here I am stuck with a vehicle that I can’t afford to fix. It’s not even worth the thousands of dollars it will cost to fix it. Catalytic converters are bad, master cylinder and brakes are bad, misfiring on multiple cylinders. They don’t care and I just have to pay $13,000 for it with no way out. Never again.

Never, ever, under any circumstance, buy a vehicle from these people. The stereotype of “used car salesman” is proven true here. A good friend of mine bought a truck here. Shortly after driving it off the lot, it started having problems. When I say shortly, I mean same day. They said they’d fix it. When he took it to them, they said it wasn’t their problem. He threw a fit, brought up texts between him and the rep. They reluctantly agreed. When he got the truck back, it had more problems than it did before. He’s since spent over $3000 fixing a truck he’s had just over a month. Richard and Ed are the ones there who royally screwed him over. But hey, they made their money right? Can’t expect them to earn a living and be decent people can you?

As of now it would be -5 stars. Im in Milwaukee, Wisconsin i bought a work van from them and had them ship it up to me, but when the van showed up it was a short van. I asked the salesman Gill if it was the long/extended van he told me it was so i bought the van based off a lie. Hopefully the dealership steps up and fixes this problem asap without attorneys.Update: your salesman Gil once again told me something different then the GM Al who i guess is the owner as he tells me. Now we have nothing but problems and i have the wrong van and no title to even do anything with it.

Absolute worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I bought a 2017 Ford Mustang from them after a day of having the car the engine light comes on. Day two of having the car it died in the middle of the highway almost causing an accident I contact them day two of me having the car and told them what was going on I Told them I no longer wanted to the car that there is to many problems with it I was told I could not return it. Then I was told that I could take it to the shop and they would pay the DIAGNOSTIC FEE ONLY for a car I GAVE THEM A 22 thousand dollar check for 3 day prior they would only pay the diagnostic fee and I HAD TO PAY THE REST.After within a week of owning my car the back up camera stopped working the Sirius XM Radio the antenna is broken . Took a month to get my title when I did I could not get my vehicle registered because they charged me OVER 600 DOLLARS EXTRA FOR STATE SALES TAX . Throughout this whole process they have not been nice or helped in any way shape or form. - If I could rate this company 0 stars I would

Here is my experience with Ethan Hunt Automotive - from a 1-star review to 5-stars within a couple of hours.I drove 3 and 1/2 hours to Mobile to test drive a Ford Transit 350 XLT for my family. Whenever we arrived, we went on a test drive and were mostly disappointed. The air didnt work like the salesman told me it did, the headlights were both busted (which was left out by the salesman whenever we asked for a good rundown of the condition of the vehicle), there were issues with air vents staying open, some seat belts didnt work... needless to say I was upset. We drove it back and spoke with the salesman about how disappointed we were. He immediately went to get the owner, Ethan Hunt. Ethan was bound and determined to make everything right - all the while guaranteeing that if we werent happy, he would refund our binder. He had the headlights replaced on the spot by his service team, he is shipping new seat belts to us, he had the A/C and vents issues fixed by his service team, and he cleaned an internal spot on the ceiling himself. He also, due to the long drive, initial frustration, and our weariness about the A/C, threw in a 6-month comprehensive warranty to make sure we were fully satisfied and felt secure driving the car off the lot. Ethan is a great guy and was a joy to work with. Had it not been for his willingness to make things right, this may have been a 1-star rating, but he was determined to make right the wrongs and fully deserves 5 stars! We are thoroughly enjoying our new-to-us Ford Transit! Thank you, Ethan, for the great service, honesty, and willingness to make things right!

We bought a Nissan Altima from Ethan Hunt and two years later the A/C went out. We took it back to Ethan Hunt and was told it would cost over $700 to fix. We agreed. We dropped the car off and paid half of the money up front. We got a call late that day saying the part didnt come in. Went to pick up the car and they left our car keys hanging off the mirror of the car. We drpped the car off the next day and again was called to say the part wasnt in. Third day we called and it wasnt in again. The nice lady in the service department reduced what we owed for the inconvenience. The next day they called to say the part was in and put it on quickly at no additional charge. However the AC was not fixed. They told us we needed to add freon so we did. Same problem no cold air. My husband went to speak with them and they gave him some line about it may take trying several things to fix the problem and wanted $1300 more. I dont think so! Ethan Hunt will never get a dime more of our money or return business.

Mr. Smokey and Ethan went above and beyond to make sure that I find the perfect car for me. He was very patient and he made sure that I was aware of all my options. It was the best deal I can find in my area. Car was clean and was in great, almost new condition. They made sure that I left with a full tank of gas and they provided me with 3 years worth of oil change for free. The sales process was quick and easy. Definitely purchasing from them again. and would recommend to friends and family.

Was feeling pretty good until they ran my credit through several banks without telling me which dropped my score tremendously! I finally get an approval they tell me theyre going to call me the next day which boy did they 6 times back to back and then DAKOTA text me from his personal cell phone, telling me to call ASAP! After a couple texts are exchanged I told him Im gonna hold off on buying (because as I stated when I got there, that was the 1st of our stops to look) for a week or 2 and think about it because the miles were WAY to high and there is NO warranty.Instead of getting a PROFESSIONAL response I get completely ignored and not 1 single person including him has reached out to me since. I even went as far as writing Adam in the finance department an email to explain to him what was going on and to please make sure the appropriate people are aware of the situation. Again still no contact has been made. As soon as they knew they wernt getting my business that day, they dropped me! They couldnt care less!DAKOTA remember you telling me to leave a review on your behalf? Well here it is! Had you spent more time doing your job, plus not mentioning the fact my credit was being ran several times with your response being oh....sorry and not taking personal calls on your cell phone and showing me disgusting pictures of rashes on your daughters leg and thigh asking ME what I think it is, Im not a doctor I was a potential buyer, trying to conduct business.THANK YOU ETHAN HUNT AUTO FOR WASTING MY TIME AND DOCKING MY CREDIT FOR NOTHING!

Nice selection of cars but went to look at one of the Camry’s they had and couldn’t get anybody to come outside and greet/talk to us. Needless to say we left and they didn’t even notice. We went to Palmers up the road and walked away with another Camry the next day and was approached before we could even get out of the car...
