Ordered to-go for the first time for my husband and I. All his food is there and looks great. I got the sunshine in the garden which is supposed to be veggies, feta cheese, fresh basil, two sunny side up eggs and a biscuit. Didn’t get my biscuit, no fresh basil and my veggies/eggs are swimming in tomato juice. Tastes like a can of diced tomatoes. Tried calling the store back multiple times but it doesn’t ring for me and just goes straight to “mailbox is full and there is no space to leave a message”. Don’t want to go back either because of how busy it was.

My ex recommended this place when I moved here, so my daughter and I decided to try it out. The first thing to point out is that its not a place to go if youre in a hurry. We showed up around 10:30, and there was still a line wrapped halfway around the store. It moved pretty quickly, but took some time. After we ordered, instead of asking for a name, they had a question of the month, What is your favorite costume for October, which added an element of fun. Most importantly, the food was delicious. I had the five and dime biscuit. Everything about the entree was flawless, although it left me wanting just a little more. A small side would have made the meal even better. My daughter felt the same about her goat cheese and spinach biscuit. The maple vanilla latte was also superb.

EXCELLENT! I had their Sticky Maple Biscuit, Sunny ORyan (with scrambled eggs), and a Maple Vanilla Bean Latte, and they were all divine! A perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and salty! Also, the atmosphere was wonderful--they call you by your favorite Disney character (I believe the question changes each month for what they will call you by), which made it a fun and lighthearted meal. 😋

Super delicious! Our first time and it was great. Very friendly atmosphere. Very warm and welcoming. The menu is amazing. When you place your order they ask a fun question like, what do you want for Christmas? And your answer is what they call out to let you know your order is ready. Someone in here wants a unicorn 🦄 for Christmas and someone else wants a new sombrero. :-)I ordered The Squawking Goat 🐐 and it was as pretty as it was tasty! Hand breaded chicken and a goat cheese patty on a biscuit with pepper jelly. So good! My husband got the Egg-stremely Risky Business and loved it. He ordered us Potatoes O Ryan and they were also fabulous. Would definitely come back!

Met my family for late brunch today and the staff was amazing! It was super busy in there so we had a little bit of a wait for our food which was understandable. They ended up being out of one of the items we ordered, but they just replaced it and we were still super happy with our meal and service. I’m assuming it was a manager, came and apologized for our wait and them being out of one of our items and gave us a complimentary gift card!! Thought that was so sweet and they definitely didn’t have to do that, awesome experience!

We have tried this restaurant twice, once with biscuits and gravy, the other time with chicken and biscuits. Both times we had great service, good food and good coffee. The chicken was moist and the biscuits are firm, no excess flour. They offer a spectrum of coffee, can only speak to the darkest blend which was very flavorful.

My family and I decided to stop by for breakfast passing through Chattanooga. The food was incredible and the wide selection of high quality coffee was to die for. However, what really made the experience special was the management. A company can only be as strong as its management- and they have powerful management. Around when we got our food, the owner greeted us and struck up a conversation. He was extremely friendly and treated us like we had known him for life. After we told him that we were from Texas, he brought us the restaurants homemade apple butter and 3 biscuits free of charge so we could sample what they had to offer before leaving. Watching him float around the restaurant organizing, cleaning, restocking, and chatting with customers really solidified how special this particular restaurant was. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone considering it and hope one day I’ll get to come back.

Searched for a yummy breakfast to pick up and eat on the run. Everything changed! Walked in and was drawn in by the crowd and the bustling atmosphere. Began to see the amazing plates of food, the signature maple products for sale, the specialty coffees and decided to eat in the restaurant. Long line moved quickly. Maple Vanilla Bean Latte was better than I could have expected. Then we got our food Bam! yo-yo; Sweet Grace; Extreme B & G. Waffles and biscuits-so good. Light, fluffy, golden and so tasty. Great perfectly spiced chicken on my waffle. Gravy thick, creamy with sausage-delicious. And Sweet Grace with chocolate chips and berries! We went here around Christmas time and I found it unique how they called out our orders. I’m not sure if it’s every year but they asked what each persons favorite gift was. The order would then be called depending how the answer you gave. It’s a pretty big place that can fit large groups of people. The bam yo-yo wasn’t that good. It just tasted like any other fried chicken you can find anywhere. They also gave us these cinnamon biscuits on the house since it was our first time here. My favorite so far is the five biscuit because the chicken has more flavor and tasted a little spicy. Definitely recommend coming here if you love biscuits. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help if you need it. Customer service is top notch here.

I visited this location on Thursday at about 12 or so. The place was practically empty. Only about 6 tables had people dining. All of the employees were standing around while the coffee was out. There was a horrendous mess below the coffee area also. I was served an old biscuit that was rubbery. I politely asked for a new one and the replacement was better than the first. It was still not fresh by any means though. The shiitake gravy was clumpy and thick, much more than normal. I can understand staffing issues, especially when a place is slammed with customers. The employees should actually clean up and work when the restaurant is so slow that only a few people are in there.

When a girl who placed an order at the counter, who was in line behind two or three other people, got her Door Dash order before mine was even a thought to anyone but me, I got mad. That was after 10 minutes of waiting. While I’m certain I have never payed more for a biscuit, I must admit it was frankly, the best biscuit I’ve ever had. The Apple Butter on that biscuit was like heroin, not that I’ve ever experienced it, I’m simply stating this from what I’ve heard from the internet and shows on television. The iced coffee I opt’d to get was also quite frankly, the best ice coffee I’ve ever tried. There are two reasons for a 1-star deduction.1.) The constant yelling of completed orders by staff was not what I had hoped to experience at a breakfast setting.2.) The Potatoes O’ Ryan was less then impressive for the associated costs. It was cold when we received it and the cheese had not even melted. It was edible, but it wasn’t quite served to expectation. For a company that makes such bold claims to be the best, with supporting prices, I would have expected everything to be literally perfect and it was not.

For me the menu is very limited I doubt I would visit this place on a regular basis. I thought the prices were a little steep the meal we enjoyed was $30. Also not a fan of restaurants that expect you to put away your own dishes and throw away your trash especially for this price point. With all that said again the food was was good service was great the restaurant extremely clean and had a steady crowd. Man, a Slam Dunk of SweetnessIf youve ever wanted to drown in maple syrup, Ive found the place for you. The chicken biscuit I ordered had crunchy bacon and came with a side of hot syrup. Once poured on, I couldnt put it down. The chicken was to die for as was the syrup and the biscuit. Additionally, their maple seasoned coffees needed little in the way of sugar or creme because by itself, it was already delicious. Add in the farm coffee shop vibe and you have a real nice, hangout spot right in the middle of Gunbarrel. Eat here.

Review №54

We must have also been some of the unlucky ones. Our experience was quite poor from end to end. In short, the quality doesnt at all justify the quality.Specifically, the wait time to order food was about 3 minutes so speedy enough. However, the wait time to receive food was extremely long: over 15 minutes. The wait feels even longer than it is because someone wearing a mask is yelling out muffled phrases of what people want for Christmas, and you can never understand what theyre saying so maybe its yours... maybe not.We ordered a biscuit, waffle, and a hash... with a drip coffee and a latte. Breakfast for two at $37 for walk up counter service and bus your own table. Ouch. The biscuit was soggy with too much pepper jelly which is actually just a sweet Thai chili sauce on it. Chicken was chewy and tasted like it was being held under a heat lamp. The waffle had a decent flavor but the bacon in it doesnt work out. The bacon is just a chewy chunk of protein thats tough to bite through and doesnt add anything special. The hash had a very nice gravy but was overall a lower quality than what youd get at a chain diner. Small bits of pepper in clearly precut and frozen potatoes.Theres alot of drip coffee choices to choose from so you can find at least one you like, but the latte was weak. All seating surfaces were uncomfortable, hard wood so really helps make sure you dont linger and drink the coffee long.In summary, wont ever bother going to another MSBC location again.
