I recently had Dr. Medford perform cataract surgery on both of my eyes and implant a pan-optic lens in each eye. Each procedure went very smoothly and I had no post-procedure discomfort at all. The improvement in my vision, especially in my right eye was extremely remarkable. I no longer require reading glasses and my distance vision is fine. The doctors and staff at both Dr. Medfords office and the Cedar Knolls eye surgery center were excellent. Very professional and informative every step of the way. I strongly recommend Dr. Medford and his team to anyone who is considered or requiring cataract surgery.

I can echo statements of others. Cataract surgery options discussed and the procedure well explained both before and during surgery. Dr Medford is an expert practitioner. Ridgedale Surgery Center in Cedar Knolls NJ is a good facility with friendly and caring staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Medford for over 20 years and he has performed multiple procedures during that time and all successful with no downside. Both eyes now done and great vision for the first time in almost 70 years! His staff in Morristown and W. Orange are excellent!

Dr Medford removed the cataracts from both of my eyes during the month of May 2021. He fully explained the procedures and recommended the Femto Laser to soften the lenses, measure the cataracts and cut the slit to remove the lenses with the cataracts because the laser reduces the after surgery problems. I had no complications or discomfort following surgery. The Femto Laser, I believe, was a big help in reducing the post operative symptoms and would recommend it. The doctors and nurses at Dr Medord’s office and at the Ridgedale Surgery Center were excellent and explained each step before surgery. The total time was about 2 hours. I strongly recommend Dr Medford for your cataract surgery and I have to say that for me, he has given me back my vision

Dr. David Medford performed cataract surgery at the Ridgedale Surgery Center in Cedar Knolls in July 2020. The protocols for managing during the pandemic were thorough and I felt completely safe both at the office and at the surgical center. Dr. Medford is a fantastic doctor-explaining upfront the process and the costs and then during the surgery explaining each step and what to expect. I had complete confidence in him. For the first time in 40 years, I can drive without glasses. The clarity, detail and colors that I can now see are amazing. I would highly recommended Dr. Medford.

Dr. Medford is a skilled and professional doctor. He explained everything that he was going to do during the cataract surgery at my consultation before surgery. I was very calm and assured that all would go smoothly counting on his expertise. I opted to have the multifocal lens applied to aid in both the distance, and close up reading, without the use of glasses. The Ridgedale Surgery Center was clean and adhered to all Covid 19 mandates. The staff were friendly and efficient. Laser surgery was only a trifle uncomfortable but only lasted 30 seconds or so and Dr. Medford was at my side telling me exactly what was happening and how long the procedure would last. After surgery, my eyesight was crystal clear, and I was told it would even get better as time went on. Healing process was approximately a week with absolutely no pain. I highly recommend Dr. David Medford and his staff at the Surgical Center.

Dr. David Medford of Affiliated Eye Surgeons performed cataract surgery on my left eye on June 23rd and my right eye on July 14th. The procedures were conducted at the Ridgefield Surgery Center (the “RSC”) in Cedar Knolls.Wow! What a remarkable difference!If you’re reading this before you’ve chosen the procedure, Dr. Medford or the RSC, I want to allay any concerns you might have. A patient could not ask for a more professional, competent or solicitous physician. I originally chose Dr. Medford several years ago when my ophthalmologist retired. Dr. Medford came highly recommended, and now I understand why. Before the procedures, he walked me through what he would do and what I might expect. He was squarely on target with both forecasts. I opted for PanOptix distant lens in both eyes. I have never driven a car without needing glasses – until this surgery. Dr. MEDFORD is absolutely excellent. He truly care’s genuinely about you and definitely alway’s look’s deeper to make sure nothing will interfere with your sight. He has been a blessing to me. He LISTEN’S to what you are vaguely explaining about your eye’s and give’s you his utmost attention to understand. I am so fortunate to have been recommended when I had a terrible swollen eye infection which a previous eye Dr. could not heal. When visited another of my Drs. for a routine visit he recommended I call Dr. Medford as had confidence that he certainly could help me, which Dr. Medford did cure my infection.
