The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of the doctor. He is amazing but the rest of the staff are HORRIBLE. I have never had such bad customer service before. Wish I had read the reviews before heading to this place. The only reason I went there because my optometrist was booked for few months and I needed a new pair. The staff seem like they are being forced to work. Terrible terrible customer service. Seems like they are doing us a favor. Got glasses yesterday and they are so uncomfortable even though paid $$ even after insurance coverage.. I hope the doctor reads this message and the owner can rectify sattfs behavior. Never going back. Such a perfect example of how terrible customer service cannot compensate for anything else.

Very unhelpful and rude staff. Didn’t explain anything thoroughly. You can’t get in touch with anybody over the phone. They only have an automated phone system. If I were blind and this place told me they could make me see again I still would not go back.

The staff here are unfriendly and do not look like they enjoy their jobs at all. They are brusque and I dont think I have ever seen any one of them smile on any of my visits here and todays visit confirmed that. I am an oncologist and I know the importance of the staff that first interact with a patient/customer and that experience is suboptimal here.On the other hand, Dr Patel is fantastic - very pleasant and personable and an excellent professional. Its a pity that the front office staff do not have the same attitude.

I have been seeing Dr. P my whole life. I absolutely love going here. Kathleen has always been more than a helping hand. She does everything to make my daughters experience comfortable and gives her more confidence with wearing her glasses. She knows the perfect fit for my glasses selections throughout these years. I am ONLY giving it 5 stars because the doctor is amazing. He is super nice and I had a great experience with him. As for the office staff they are HORRIBLE. I don’t understand how people can be so miserable. They all have an attitude. One girl was on her phone her face almost touching the desk on how focused she was on her phone while people were walking around looking at glasses not once did she offer any help. You walk in and they all just stare at you until one of them decides to come up to you and just stare. They have zero knowledge on anything. They don’t want to be bothered. When I went to get the first part of my eye exam the girl said two words and didn’t even ask if I had contacts in. I had to get the air blown in my eye twice because she didn’t ask me to remove my lenses, she was dragging her feet around. I can go on and on on how terrible their customer service was. I truly wish they replace every single one of them because they are horrible!

Poor customer service, glasses didn’t hold up and I have had many, many pairs of glasses that weren’t constructed poorly like this. Any issues I had in the past with other eyewear places were addressed and handled well… I will never go here again ! First time….last time..really deserves a 0

I would caveat my review score with this - you HAVE to avoid the manager at all costs. All costs!! The tall black lady. She is an absolute horror. Beastly. The antithesis of all things customer service -oriented. She literally sneers at you. And the tone with which she addresses customers... Oh my gawd... Like we are dirt.If you avoid the manager, though, the optometrist and all the other assistants in the shop are great. Extremely disappointing experience. The only good part about this place is the physician, who is very nice. However, the staff is very rude and disinterested. There is absolutely no focus on the customer. We spent 30 minutes picking out a pair of frames with not one person coming up to us even once to offer help. Instead, we could hear them quarrel with each other the whole time. When we went to checkout, we were asked to wait and then just ignored for 15 minutes. We ended up walking out without the frames out of plain frustration.

We love coming to visionworks in Morristown solely for Kathleen! She is awesome with us and our kids when they come. Haven’t gone to any other eye doctor in like 4 years.

I am giving this place a five star cause I was treated like I mattered ! I had an appointment and was seen right away. My exam was not rushed and I felt like I was being listen to . I was not rushed at all while I was looking for my frames, I received helpful info in choosing the right frames for me . The cost was half of what I paid at the last eye doctor I went to, which was only a year ago . Everything about this place was very pleasant 😊😊😊. I highly recommend Visionworks in Morristown !!!!

I took my daughter and son there and I always deal with Coleen and she is very nice and so are both of the doctors I have experienced.

I went to fix a screw on the frame. They said it would take 1 to 2 days. I went to Boonton Walmart. Dr. Fixed in 2 minutes.As these are important accessories I would recommend store needs to keep in stock and fix with in an hr or give that part to us we can fix it on our own.

A great selection of eyewear and I received my contact lenses and glasses in one week instead of two as originally planned. Looking forward to my next appointment!! I am so grateful to the office staff, especially Simone, and Dr. Puzio! My contact broke in half in my eye - or so I thought - but I couldn’t find the missing piece. I had a very narrow window open because I only had 2 hours left of childcare when I called, hoping for the best. They squeezed me in and even called my insurance to double check they could process it. Throughout my entire time there, Simone kept ensuring her colleagues knew to help me out/not make me wait unnecessarily because of my childcare restraints, which she totally did not have to do & I never even reminded them. It was SO nice of her!!! Dr. Puzio also was fantastic. He kept me calm and has a great bedside manner, and quickly assessed & solved issues I had in each eye. Lastly the place is very covid-safe. Clean, masks, temp check, sanitizer readily available, etc. I didn’t read reviews before I went but glanced at them just now — I had an entirely different experience with the front desk staff than some others (& was so impressed I made sure I asked for Simone’s name so I could write a review—thank you again if you see this!!) so don’t be afraid to check out Visionworks!

I’ve been having a difficult time with Visionworks and am disappointed in the service I’ve received from the office staff. The doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed my visit. However when I went to go pick up my trial contact lenses, my prescriptions were changed without any notice. I had to go back into the store to get the lenses that would give me 20/20 eyesight. When I got home, I went to put in a contact and realized they had expired a year ago. I called the store, was rudely told that I would receive a call back and then didn’t hear back. I’ve called the office twice now since then to check up on the status of my trial lenses and haven’t heard anything. It’s been three and a half weeks since my original appointment and I haven’t received the right lenses, which is frustrating.

The doctor seems to know what she is doing. However the receptionists and other workers are not friendly and rude. On the phone, they do not let you get a word in before talking over you. In the store, they barely acknowledge you. Their customer service is terrible, and with working with customer my entire life I know its the proper way to be running a business or any sort.

Very professional with answering phone and scheduling appointments. Asked for two appointments for my kids gave them all the information including insurance numbers only to turn around a month and half later and tell it’s only for one kid. I also got conformation for both kids VIA text. The lady is very rude. I don’t recommend vision works all together don’t waste your time with them.

I made an appointment online for 10:00 am thus morning. After waiting months during the Covid shutdown I was happy to finally be able to get an exam scheduled.I received both a text and an email confirming my 10:00 am appointment.As I was walking up to the door at 9:50 am a women was just unlocking the door.She looked at me and said very roughly “we open at 11!”I said, well I have a confirmed 10:00 appointment....and before I could say anymore she again said “we open at 11!” and shut the door in my face! Actually yelling at me like she was annoyed that i was there!She didn’t even offer and advice as if I should come back at 11 instead....I can’t just assume they will see me at 11. They might have other appointments at that time.I’m so annoyed at the lack of professionalism! She was extremely rude! I work in a dr office and would NEVER dream of treating a patient that way!I will be scheduling an exam at another more professional establishment.

Everything about this visit minus the actual doctors appointment (he was awesome) sucked. male assistant didn’t clean off equipment before checking my eyes, I had to call over an over because they said they’d “call me back”, when I got there another assistant continuously misheard what I said to the point where I didn’t even bother asking for what I needed. Didn’t let me know my contacts exam would increase my copay too. Also tried to hard sell me on a two for 1 glasses deal then ended up giving me a better coupon when I left. 🙄 never returning again.

I highly recommend this place! It is so welcoming and professional! Every time I go in I am greeted with smiles and friendly faces. I usually see Kathleen that works there, and she has patience! I’m very picky with my glasses so I know I definitely appreciate it. I live in Virginia now but I do travel backs and fourth to new jersey. And whenever I’m in town I go there for my check ups. Thank you guys for always being amazing!

I love this place, I moved away so I have not been there in a while but this place is home. The female doctor here was really helpful and super nice. The problem came with the lady who was processing insurance. She was extremely rude and walked away from the desk numerous times without a word. We spoke with the manager who was very kind, but not helpful. They werent going by our insurance and trying to sell a standard lens at a premium price. Spent two hours there leaving only with the prescription. Never going back here!!

This is by far the best place to get glasses in Morris County. They have an excellent selection of frames to choose from. Everyone in the store is professional and courteous. Kathleen is my favorite person to go to because she sits down with me and recommends frames regardless of brand or price which I like a lot. Ive been coming here for several years for eye exams, contacts and glasses. They are very accommodating with their schedule: Ive made appointments and shown up for walk-in service as well. They have a wide selection of frames to choose from and provided me with personal service when choosing them. I got several compliments from coworkers and clients about the frames they helped me pick! I plan on returning again for all of my eye care needs.

I love coming to this eye doctor. It may be a little far and I’m passing a few other practices along the way but every time I walk in here I’m greeted ever so pleasantly. My son usually comes with me and he’s always happy when he leaves because everyone talks to him. We really enjoy having Kathleen as our sales person she is top notch!!

I had my judgements because I thought a place covered by Medicaid would be lower quality. It certainly was not! The quality of care from the assistants and the doctor were above satisfactory. They performed tests on my vision that I had never seen before, probably giving them a better picture of strengths and weaknesses. I thought a big chain like Visionworks would resemble lower quality care places, such as Costco or BJs, but the doctor at Visionworks (Dr. Puzio) attended two reputable schools, and seemed very well prepared and on top of his tasks. He knew exactly what I was seeing during the tests, and even helped me find a better prescription than my normal private practice doctor. I didnt know my vision could be this clear!I had a more finite selection of frames to choose from because I was going in with Medicaid insurance, but if youre going with other insurance or out of pocket, the selection covers the walls, for kids, men and women. I picked a purple pair that I plan on wearing to my sisters wedding, just to jazz up my outfit a little. Im confident that even if I were still driving, I could see clearly and safely with the prescription given at this Visionworks location. First time in, Im impressed. Thank you!

Kathleen is always great and helpful whenever I come in to get my yearly exam. I have a hard time finding the right frame to fit my face and she always finds the right one. A great place to come in and get your vison checked. The entire staff is friendly.

I went in to get an eye exam and prescription for contact lenses.They tried to convince me that I had to get my contact lenses from them, which is a lie.They tried to convince me that I might as well, because they price match. When I went to get my bill, they had already charged me for a years supply of contacts - so I guess they dont price match. I found them online for half the price and called to confirm they price match - turns out they dont.I also had to call twice to get my prescription sent to me - once because their records said I only got a prescription for glasses (NOPE). The second time was because Im pretty sure they forgot.

I usually don’t write reviews but I went to this location the other day just with a few questions and this lady name Simone was very helpful and professional usually when you don’t spend money right then and there people brush you off.. but not her she made sure I understand everything and with service like that I’ll be sure to return soon and I recommend my friends and family to this place too!

This Visionworks is really awesome! My husband and I came for eye exams. I saw Dr Puzio. My husband saw Dr. Molly. Both doctors were terrific. Toyin helped us pick out glasses that work for us. Everything was explained and the prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend Visionworks!Update 10/20/18. I picked up my glasses and love them! My husband wanted something changed and I want to thank Simone for taking the time to assist with my husbands frames. She was very helpful and patient. Keith did a great job getting the lenses to fit into the frames my husband chose. Thank you Visionworks!

I highly recommend vision works in Morristown on Lafayette ave! I had a problem with my eyes that was starting to interfere with my daily activities and I was able to get a timely appointment to address my issue. Dr puzio really listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions in detail, it shows that he really cares about his patients. After meeting with the doctor, I was helped by Simone who was so patient with me while I tried on what seemed to be every frame in the office. No matter how many times I asked her opinion she gave me her honest opinion everytime and did not get frustrated. Her customer service was amazing appreciated!

I have been waiting for 1 month to get my contact classes and finally today it was the appointment and when I got there they told me that they can’t take a appointment. I told them then why did you make a appointment for me? They said that I am wrong. The staff are very rude and not friendly and they also give dirty looks and they talk very rudely

I have to say I am really surprised by the bad reviews. I only went in to fill a prescription since that is where my insurance would cover. I did not have my eye exam here. The staff could have not been more helpful. I brought a friend to help me pick out glasses and we had a blast laughing with the ladies that work there. My husband went in a few weeks later and they even remembered us and he had the same great impression.

I have been going here, along with my wife for at least 10 years. The service is always good, convenient hours, professional, friendly and a wide selection of glasses. The doctor is extremely friendly and he is probably the main reason we like the place. I would recommend them.

Scratching my head at some of these reviews which makes me wonder. Dr. Puzio is the BEST, bar none. Our entire family has been going to him for more than 2 decades. I usually love visionworks everyone is friendly and helpful I went to pick up my glasses and this company is not taking the health of the public and their employees seriously they have people working who are sick and they also have patients sitting in the waiting areas who are coughing all over and sneezing it’s horrible and it shows they don’t care.
